This is a wonderful restaurant, great food, nice ambiance, good value, would have given them 5 stars... and this would have been my go to spot for date night or just hangout with friends. Towards the end of the night around 10pm, the meat guy comes over because he knew I had been waiting on bottom sirloin, he sliced the meat and placed on my plate...2 minutes later a lady comes to me and say " did you know that's the wrong steak he placed on your plate... now you'll have to pay the 'All you can eat' price. She totally killed my experience...one piece of meat, less than a 1/2 oz... to up the price $20 and say 'All you can eat' in less than 30 minutes before closing. I think not. It was totally not caused for and really ruined my experience all in a couple of seconds. Not sure if I'll be back. read more

Enjoyed the meal here, the service initially was a bit slow and we were seated right next to the "market table". (we had a reservation, so that was a bit dissappointing) I would not suggest this, as it was a busy area with people constantly walking by us. However, the meal was good as usual and for the most part (exception being locatioon), the cuts of meat are always great. We did order bananas that seemed to take much longer than expected (and then 2 orders came at onece, so I suspect they forgot the initial order). Otherwise service was fine. Seems like every server, especially the ones bringing out the meat, absolutely hate their jobs. I got more than one eye roll when they would bring something that I didn't want or had already tried. Just because I've got my green sign up, doesn't mean I want what you've got. When we asked one of the hostesses where our server was, we were told she was in the back getting more water in a tone that, to me, said "how dare you even ask." The table we were sat at, in the front corner of the bar area, was loose. I'd have to hold the table whenever anyone in my party tried to cut their meat. Went for my birthday, was hoping for a great experience but nooo.... Reservation was at 7:30pm, didn't get seated until 8:45pm. Why bother taking reservations? Also, food was too salty, couldn't eat much, which I guess is good for the business since this is an all you can eat. The not so great menu items like bacon wrapped chicken kept coming around the table but not steaks like filet mignon. I had to request several times for the filet mignon, and I finally got a piece after having been seated for 1.5 hours. The restroom and the salad bar was dirty with the salad bar having sticky tongs. Overall, the experience was not great. For a high end restaurant and with the prices they charge ($58 per person), I expected an exceptional experience or at a mininum a good experience, this just wasn't it sadly. read more

An absolutely overrated steakhouse.... Sadly we came to celebrate a birthday so it was only a group of four of us. The place was completely packed when you walked in so with a reservation we still had to wait a bit. The management team was clearly struggling with the guests and environment was so chaotic from start to finish. The service itself was the absolute worst. The girl who took care of us didn't even give us the cards so we can get the meat when you walk by... So we had to call someone else over so we can finally eat after 20 mins. Anyways, she was way in over her head and wasn't able to accommodate us basically at all, with drinks a coat rack nothing was getting to us as asked. In another note the female manager came over and asked if we were celebrating anything we said yes the birthday and she said great a dessert is on us before you go! Awesome as we were finishing up we told the server to remind her and she was confused and was like wait who said that? She went to ask the lady who told us who was ALSO CONFUSED. I couldn't believe it. They were all so lost.... The server brought us a dessert eventually, awkwardly enough and when she brought the checks and everything she NEVER even said thank you have a great day? She didn't greet us at the beginning either. Would not return. Oh and the food? Don't bother.... No flavor at all in any meats and the unlimited bar as very Ehh. read more

We took our son here for his birthday. It happen d to be restaurant week and they were offering a slightly reduced selection on the meat fest for $39 instead of $49. Missing would be Lamb, filet mignon, and beef ribs. The other three ordered this and I ordered pan seared salmon as I'm off red meat at the moment. I'm also dieting for weight loss and knew I didn't need the temptation of endless meat offerings. Our first course offered was the beverages. Everyone ordered water and iced tea. It took a while to get these, and they came out somewhat random. First 3 waters and one tea, then three more teas and a water. The waiter also was selling appetizers such as shrimp cocktail for additional cost. Nice I am sure, but all the meals come with the large salad bar so why would you order this except to show off? There was a table next to us where a man who was appearing to do just that. He had the table crowded with extras, in what appeared to be an attempt to impress a woman out of his league. LOL Soon after ordering the main course, we all hit the salad bar. It's a fairly wide selection of quality items. One could easily make this their meal and skip the entrees but then why come here? On to the main course. My fellow diners were well into the meat fest before my salmon showed up. That was annoying. In addition, our waiter had to be hunted down whenever anyone needed something, or else the gentleman who seemed to be his helper was summoned as he was far not accessible even though he continued to say he would tell our waiter. This became the downfall of the evening, waiting on a non existent waiter. I sensed that since we ordered tea and no alcohol, and did not add on appetizers, and had the reduced cost meals he had no use for us. In addition, meat delivery was spotty. Either a full court press of several offerings or empty plates. Several items were never offered at our table, some took several request before it would show up. Some never appeared. Even the bill was handled with disappointment. Basically a credit card pad was dropped at the table allowing me to pay on the spot, but I had to go find someone to get my printed receipt and we sat ignored after it was dropped. Again the helper was found who had to find the waiter. In summary, food is good, nothing stellar even considering the price, and service was poor. For $240.00 all in for four people I was not impressed. read more

Usually this place is very good! But tonight the service was horrible. We arrived at 7:25 for our 7:30 reservation. We got seated immediately and everything was going well. It took about 40 minutes for the rolls to come out which we had been waiting for. The meat was pretty good, but I've had better here. Our party was celebrating a birthday and they said we could order anything off the dessert menu, we ordered something to go because we were in a rush to get home. We all finished eating around 8:15 and had gotten all the meat we wanted. We have been waiting almost over an hour for our check asking three different waiters for it because no one would bring it to us. If I come here again i will definitely be going to a different location. read more

I am not one to usually leave negative reviews. We love Fogo De Chao and it has always been our go-to for celebrations, since we love the food and the exceptional customer service. However, we left the restaurant with a really bad taste in our mouths for the very poor customer service and overall experience during our Valentine's dinner on Wednesday 02/14/24. We were at table 82 - Our waitress was MIA (she must have had a big section because she was nowhere to be most of the time). We ordered a bottle of wine and waited quite some time for her to bring it over. After she brought the wine, she never once came by the table to see how we were doing. We sat and waited for about an hour for the Churrasco to even get to us. I told one of the servers that we understood it was Valentines and that they must be very busy, but advised that we were hungry and would really love to get started on some cuts. By this point we only had 3 cuts and we had already finished a little more than half of our bottle - we still had not seen much of the prime cuts/steaks. I asked to speak to a manager, brought it to his attention that we had ordered a bottle with the purpose of enjoying it with our food and advised that service was starting to lack a little bit - he was very short in his response and didn't seem like he wanted to be there overall. I could only imagine how busy the kitchen must have been. However, when we did get offered any of the steak's cuts, these were all medium rare to rare. Had to decline two gentlemen when they passed by our table because the whole thing was just too red for our taste. At one point we were just eating what we could to satisfy the hunger. When we asked our waitress for our check - which she said she would get... ended up taking another 30 minutes. Seemed like she was avoiding us, since we made contact from across the room. It wasn't until she was leaving the room again that I had to STAND up to go talk to her and bring to her attention that we had been waiting for over 30 minutes. When she finally brought the check, she gave us one Complimentary Full Churrasco with purchase. Which I find useless at this point because the service was so bad, I don't even think we will be coming here again unless management does something about the customer service. Paid over $200 to end up going home feeling sick and unsatisfied. To say the least, my partner woke up at 2:30 am throwing up. read more

I do NOT recommend this location! I had gone to the Addison location several times with no issues. I went this week and the server took forever to get to us. If they are short staffed then they should not take that many reservations!! Almost all the meats were really salty and had more fatty pieces than normal. I came back in hopes of a different experience but experienced the same. Service here is the absolute worst. There's at least 20 employees on the floor but not one person approached our table. A table for 2 celebrating a birthday. We had salad and was on our 2nd round of meats before we were acknowledged. We ordered drinks that we never got but for charged for. We got our waters, bread and potato when we were almost done eating. I had to use my salad plate as my entree plate. I really don't know what management thinks by having this style of shared servers for a finer dining establishment but it doesn't work. It actually sucks. I can go to another steak house, pay the same price and get exceptional service. I would have talked to a manager but the manager never came to the table either. Was not blown away by the food, and the service was honestly just not good. Wouldn't even go as far as to blame it on the wait staff because that restaurant was severely over packed. The salad bar was so crowded the whole time we did not even want to go back for seconds, which was unfortunate because we enjoyed it more than the meat, and that rarely came around. Our waiter was taking care of three or four couples, plus a 20+ party all at the same time so he was really doing his best, but we were unable to order a second drink or even get our water refilled. And unless you want to get there 30+ minutes early to find parking, I would save your time and just go to Texas de Brazil. read more

This is the worst Brazilian Steakhouse we've ever been to. Awful service and food. Our reservation was for 6 at 7pm but got seated 7:45. We were expecting a bit of wait but not that long. We've been sitting for 20 mins and still no meat being served. I had to ask one of the server not to forget about us because we are in the corner. They forgot the give us bread so we have to request for that as well. Bananas was served when we were already finished eating because again they forgot about it until we requested. The banana was not worth it anyway. Soggy and falls apart in a yucky way. The meats were inconsistent, some are good and some are blah. We never got to try the other meats because they never went to our table. In addition, the meat servers were so few. I usually have to slow down server on other Brazilian buffet but here it's like their buffet table is the highlight. The drinks were okay. Nothing to rave about. The lemon drop was initially good; however, the second order was not. Inconsistent quality of food and drink. The bacon was great. I think it was the only thing good I ate. We will never go back to Fogo de Chao. We've been to the Addison branch on a New Year and it was not as bad as this. We've been to several Texas de Brazil, way better. I don't blame the staff; they're being poorly managed. The hostess are having to bust tables, then, go back upfront. They look so exhausted. There are few meat server so they're not able to serve everyone. The wait to be seated is long because people inside are waiting to be served. 1st time coming back to this place after the whole pandemic. They reopened the restaurant and I still had some concerns on how would much space would they keep the tables apart and how would the salad bar self-serve would work in these situations when you want to keep people from being close to each other and touching the same utensils to grab food? Arriving at the door, we were greeted by the front staff who opened the door for us, all employees wearing masks and we were promptly lead to our table since I already made reservations through Open Table. Getting into the restaurant they have space out the seatings by reserving every other table to be empty to put distance between customers. That was well done. They start you off with a wooden plank with cold cuts that comes from the salad bar plus a small bowl of Pao de Queijo. Meat service would still be the same, the Gauchos would come and serve the meats on skewer but for he salad bar and hot dishes, they would bring samples of the dishes from the salad bar and serve table side, thus making the whole experience to be table side service. I actually like this method more; sure it is more work for the staff but I believe it improves the quality of the service and keep people safe from others. Went during weekend brunch, they do serve some breakfast type food like waffles, omelets on order, Brazilian hash brow, (whatever that is) but i stayed away from it. You don't come to a steak house to eat breakfast, you come for the meat. The meat were very tender and cooked to perfection of medium rare. The best is when you get that outside thinly slice cut, cooked on one side and medium rare on the other. Nothing beats Picanha like that. They serve a variety of meats: Picanha (Top Sirloin Cap), Fraldinha (Bottom Sirloin), Garlic Picanha, Rib-Eye, Filet Mingon, Lamb Steak, Lamb Chops, Brazilian Sausage, Chicken, Parmesean Pork, Beef Ribs, and others. They even have grilled small blocks of cheese, they are good just the way it is but they offer a honey drip if you want it sweet; but not me. I'm more of a salty guy. Food is great and to top it off their Passion Fruit Caipirinha is pretty good. read more

Service was excellent and definitely a team effort!! Not one time did I feel we were ever left unattended for a long period of time. The staff assessed our needs and were always one step ahead of us when we needed things. The meat experience was fantastic. Every cut of meat was delicious. The Yellowbird cocktail was super good.
