I dined here for the first time this past weekend and I only have positive things to say!!! Starting with the food, I don't eat a ton of meat, but I fully indulged in the experience. Great quality cuts of meat with lots of flavor and sauces if you need a little extra something. The chimichurri was 10/10. There are also a ton of options at the market table, which was filled with various grilled vegetables, fruits, salads, and other options. There were also a couple soups. Service was great and the waitstaff was very attentive. My only complaint was that we had an 8:45 reservation and were not seated until 9:15. Granted, we did have a large party and had to wait until everyone arrived to be seated. But still had about a 20 minute wait after everyone arrived. It was a very nice ambiance, and I saw multiple couples on dinner dates, but also families out. So great for both. Will go back! read more

Came here to celebrate son's birthday a couple of weeks ago (mid-September). No reservation but were seated in about 5-10 mins. First thing I noticed was the dining area smelled musty and foul (imagine a dirty wet rag left overnight or flooded carpetting). It was a big turn off. Food was meh - not a whole lot of appetizing selections at the salad bar - cheese slices looked old, recycled, and wet, and that awful smell was lingering. Gauchos took forever to serve meat, and even the meat selections were underwhelming. Have always enjoyed Fogo and frequented the Addison location but wanted to try this place out. We expected they will be busy tonight because a lot of ppl is celebrating a Father's Day dinner today. We understand if meat came around slower equally for every tables, but obviously servers were avoiding our table. We even started to count how many times servers stopped by our table and how many for the table next to us (white family)... Is this happening because we are Asian? AVOID LEGACY WEST Location. Also, calling the Corporate Office does nothing. We've logged 15 phone calls and have had no one call us back. On 09/29/2023 we had a reservation for 5 at 7:30pm and were seated shortly after that time in a corner location concealed by a table set for close to a party of 20. After being seated for nearly 15 minutes, a server finally came over and took our drink order which consisted of 5 waters and one Dr. Pepper. It took him close to ten minutes to return with our drinks(currently 25 minutes for just drinks since we sat down). We received our cheese bread before we received our drinks from the same server. He then disappeared for nearly 10 more minutes before returning to ask which experience we wanted. Four of us in our party opted for the $39 experience. Total time for drinks, bread, and our orders 35 minutes - at this point, my confidence in this dinner being remotely acceptable was diminishing very fast. Our table got up to pick items from the salad bar and soup station. I both got the black bean soup, thinking it would be nice and hot. It was not. It was almost as cold as if I had pulled it out of my fridge at home. The mushrooms and zucchini both had no flavor which is what I usually get at the Addison Fogo location. The other members in our party got other assorted items from the salad bar and sat down again. As we began eating our non-meat items, we started to wonder why our section was not getting any meat service. The servers walking the location were not passing beyond the 20 top sitting in front of us and honestly, if we had a signal flare, we might have been able to flag them down. Let's now say we've been at our table for nearly 45 minutes, but have no tongs or small plates for the meat to be placed on. We flagged down a meat server and asked him for tongs and small plates to which he responded "ok" then never returned. Our server came by to refill our waters and refilled 4 out of 5, the 5th being my son's water, which was nearly empty. We advised our server that we were missing small plates and tongs which he then turned to the server station behind him, opened a drawer, pulled out a single pair of tongs then walked away. We are nearly an hour into our dinner service and my wife asks for a manager. Vinicius is the Manager who responds to the request. My wife explains everything that has occurred to this point in our dining experience, which has been written above. Vinicius gets the ball rolling and gets us our small meat plates, tongs, and refills. Meat starts flowing our direction and we are starting to think it might turn the experience around, but it doesn't. Our server still cannot seem to understand the concept of refilling water glasses as he would refill 2-3 at the table, still have water in the carafe, but can't manage to fill glasses. My friend and I both get the bacon wrapped chicken. It was very dry and the bacon was not just crispy, but more like a protective shell around the chicken. Once I was able to get passed the shell and choke down the dry chicken, I had enough. The manager came over a second time and we informed him that we had no sides (the mashed potatoes, plantains, etc, that are served at the Addison location. We are then told that this location is a test location and that sides would be brought over. The sides that were delivered were whole potatoes and sauteed mushrooms - neither of which had any flavor. Vinicius, hearing that our troubles with the experience had not stopped, returned to inform us that he was going to authorize the specialty meats to be added to our ticket at no cost due to the issues that we were having. Shortly after, another manager (I did not get hi name) came over and my wife explained to him what had transpired during our experience. He then offered us complimentary desserts. One part of our group requested the Keylime Pie and my son ordered a Lava Cake. My wife took a bite of the Lava cake and looked at my friend Kristi (who runs her own bakery) and told her "this is not Lava Cake. This looks and tastes like they bought a chocolate angel food cake, injected it with chocolate and called it a lava cake". Kristi looked at it then called the manage over again and explained how this "lava cake" was an insult to bakers. In the end, our tab was taken from $156.00 to $42 which was nice, but should have been totally comp'd in my opinion. We were first offered 2, 2, 2 (two drinks, two meals, two desserts) for our party of FIVE! Then that changed to a 3, 3, 3. DO THE MATH...5 poeple = 5 , 5, 5. read more

I used to love Fogo de Chão but unfortunately it seems to have gone downhill of late. Food My favorite sides were all gone. No more garlic mashed potatoes, polenta, or fried plantains. They had some small roasted potatoes that weren't nearly as good. The meat service was lacking too. Perhaps it's because they seated us in the far corner of the restaurant, farthest from the kitchen, but the only cuts of steak I was offered were top and bottom sirloin. I saw tons of lamb, although that didn't really appeal to me. I had to request that someone finally bring the sausage. Service My wife and I went on a Saturday night, so of course they were busy. We only waited about 5 minutes past our reservation time to be seated, which was good. But the waiter was not attentive at all. My wife ordered the grilled salmon entre because she doesn't eat red meat. The waiter forgot to enter the order so she didn't get her food. By the time he acknowledged he forgot to put it in, it had been 40 minutes and my wife just said to cancel it because she had had enough salad and didn't want to wait another 30 minutes. Less critical, the waiter also forgot to bring the Chimichurri sauce I had requested. I finally got it from someone else twenty minutes later after my food was cold. Facilities For a restaurant this size that likely seats hundreds of people, how in the world is there only one toilet in the men's room? I'm surprised this isn't some code violation. The line to use the single toilet was several people deep so I literally had to run across the street to the Legacy Food Hall to find a toilet. read more

Everything was excellent, the nonstop food, the bottomless drinks and the attentive service. Chase and Colin were two of our outstanding servers. Forty-five of us were there to celebrate three of our extended family college graduates. Personally the side dishes were just as tasty as the meat selection. We were seated very comfortably in the patio section. The ambiance was very delightful. The salad bar was kept fully stocked and all of the items looked fresh. Most delicious was the candied bacon. This was my second time coming here, the first time was absolutely amazing and I cannot say the same for this experience. I arrived at about 9pm. I requested pork belly, house steak, sausage and lamb because those were the things I really wanted. What was brought out was sirloin, Parmesan pork, and bacon wrapped steak. A manager came to my table to check on me and agitated and irritated, I made my request a 3rd time. I got the pork belly but nothing else that I requested. After asking 4 times and STILL not receiving anything I got up and found someone to just pay my check to. I had to use my birthday coupon to get a horrible experience and nothing that I requested, other than the pork belly. I would not recommend that you go to this place alone, you will be ignored and disregarded, which will leave you still hungry and pissed just like I am right now. I traveled to Florida and tried several Brazilian Steakhouses and based on my first experience Fogo was my fav at that time. After tonight I don't see myself returning again. I'm am so SUPER disappointed with the service I received here and the fact that I have to STILL grab something to eat. Fogo gave me a piece of cheesecake for my inconvenience. I have been coming to Fogo de Chao Addison location for years even though I live in Plano now. I came this time to celebrate my Birthday with the family. I noticed a few things on my last visit that made me give them three stars. I noticed many of the meats were way over cooked including lamb, peppered or garlic steak, and a few others. I also noticed that the carvers do not listen to you when you ask for medium rare cuts. They just cut and give you whatever they have. The second thing I noticed was that Filet Mignon, Ribeye, and Lamb seems scarce. We had to ask the server that we would like the following. They would stop by with barely any for the table. For Filet, I got probably a 1 inch square for the entire meal, the lamb was overcooked and dry. There was plenty of all the other cuts coming around. Especially all the sirloin cuts. I told my wife that I would prefer to go to a good steakhouse and get one high quality cut prepared the way I like it as oppose to Fogo in the future. In terms of the waiters, they were always people asking if we needed anything. So that was never the problem. read more

Probably be the last time coming to this location. First we were seated next to wine stairways and register. Which made the area very busy and uncomfortable. Still that was fine with us since we had 6 adults and 3 kids. Salad bar was fine, pretty much same thing that's on there every time I've been there. We flipped our card to green, every meat that came by was pretty rare cooked. We don't eat lamb, pork or chicken, just beef. Half the time, we were just sitting there waiting for meat to come by. Our waiter never came by, it was the people who were cleaning up our dishes who asked if we need anything else. So we asked if we can get any garlic beef, ribeye or filet. They said they were going to tell the kitchen, never came by. Finally we gave up and asked for our check. We just felt so rushed and they were pushing us out. We weren't even done eating and they kept on asking if they can take the dishes away from the salad bar. When it was checkout time, that's when our server shows up and says thank you and ask us to give them good review on Yelp. We left feeling not satisfied and still hungry. Also be careful, there's a waiter that walks around with bowl of shrimp and ask if we wanted one. This event was great. Service was awesome, food for the most part tasted good and the location/free parking for the restaurant is an added plus. Because we were here for a yelp elite event, we had a big section tucked away in the back of the restaurant and it worked out great. I've been to FDC several times and the food is how I remembered. The only feedback is the servers sometimes didn't know the temperature of meat and when specifying I wanted something medium, it was usually well done. I LOVE the garlic steak, but all were extremely overcooked during this visit which was very disappointing. There's an absolute reason why this location is the flag ship. The decorum is elegant and spacious at the same time where people can walk. The salad bar had a wide variety with pomegranate, smoked salmon, fresh greens and overall great choices. The soup and the bacon are great as well. Staff is very welcoming and what's most important, the meat are NOT over salted. I've been to many Brazilian steakhouses and that's typically the case; however, this place seasons the cuts very well. They also have grilled mozzarella with spicy honey, which is arguably best item in the house and they have grilled pineapple. Fogo de Chao probably the better of chains and really appreciate the service they have here. Looking forward to be back! read more
