My first visit was pretty great! My sisters frequent this place so they're well known. Today was my first time going for brunch, which they talked about being the best. I had high hopes. First things first, no one came to take our drink orders for a little while so we decided to go get our first plates. The young lady making the omelettes looked like she did not want to be there. I was also a little worried about her hair being all over the place. My sister didn't care for the crepes and they didn't have the waffles she was excited about. I loved the potatoes, but only got a spoonful as they were out and weren't replaced for quite sometime. The famous bacon was wanted by everyone, but again was out for a significant amount of time. The meats didn't come by as often so I had to keep asking. The sides also arrived pretty late. I really wasn't feeling like I got my money's worth!! Fortunately, but unfortunately...a couple nearby decided to leave because they were dissatisfied and gave us their gift cards and said they would never be back! Is zero stars an option? We went for Father's Day dinner and the service was awful. What is the point of a reservation if you still have to wait 40 minutes for a table? They had no control of the waiting area as at least 30 people were waiting inside and outside of the building for their tables. Once our table was ready, not even one of the gazillion hostesses could walk us to it. Instead they just pointed towards the back without even giving us the QR code for the menu. Once we sat down, the sun was blinding me. I asked our waiter if he could close the curtain to block the sun and he rudely said "it's going to get dark". We opted to go for the "full experience" but our experience was anything but. The staff were not very observant and the entire restaurant felt hectic. It took all our waters to be empty for the waiter to come refill them. Our waiter brought 2 small sides of mashed potatoes and plantains/yuca fries for ELEVEN people to share! And when we asked for more sides they were never brought. It seemed like our table would be ignored by the gauchos every time they were near us even though our table of 11 all had our cards flipped to the green side. When we did get meats, they were either extremely rare or so over cooked we couldn't even cut it. Not worth the money we spent and definitely will not be going back again. My first time dining here I was so disappointed, went for my birthday 4-17 with my family(party of 15), I had heard about the wonderful salad bar. I started with said salad bar, I've seen more choices at my local Jason's Deli to sum that up, when the meat skewers started arriving I was thinking wow it's almost gone on the first 2, after the 3/4th I was convinced they were sending the scraps to our table..my daughter mentioned it to the mgr it did get a bit better but by this time I was over it. read more

Probably be the last time coming to this location. First we were seated next to wine stairways and register. Which made the area very busy and uncomfortable. Still that was fine with us since we had 6 adults and 3 kids. Salad bar was fine, pretty much same thing that's on there every time I've been there. We flipped our card to green, every meat that came by was pretty rare cooked. We don't eat lamb, pork or chicken, just beef. Half the time, we were just sitting there waiting for meat to come by. Our waiter never came by, it was the people who were cleaning up our dishes who asked if we need anything else. So we asked if we can get any garlic beef, ribeye or filet. They said they were going to tell the kitchen, never came by. Finally we gave up and asked for our check. We just felt so rushed and they were pushing us out. We weren't even done eating and they kept on asking if they can take the dishes away from the salad bar. When it was checkout time, that's when our server shows up and says thank you and ask us to give them good review on Yelp. We left feeling not satisfied and still hungry. Also be careful, there's a waiter that walks around with bowl of shrimp and ask if we wanted one. She put us at the top and seated us within seconds to accommodate us ahead of all others. It was my husband and I's anniversary. I've been to multiple fogos before and have always had a great experience but this location was especially spectacular! The waiters were so nice, we constantly had people coming up to check on us and to make sure we had everything we needed. They would constantly refill our drinks, ask if we wanted more sides, or if we needed anything else at all. The food itself was exquisite, so many options at the appetizer/ salad bar and the meats were amazing! They also had a few sauces and a salad that they brought out with the mashed potatoes which were delicious as well! The atmosphere was also very nice, very clean and overall excellent environment. Our experience here was great, the staff made us feel so welcome. Next time we're in the area, we will definitely be stopping by! Definitely recommend. read more

I went to fogo de Chao with my daughter on Thursday, June 13th. My 3 year old daughter eats for free, which is amazing since she is a little carnivore. The food is always fresh and amazing. This place is really going downhill. This location really needs to get it together. The food was ok, meat didn't taste fresh, salad bar was a mess, the service was questionable as my server said they had to take mine and our guests glasses to reuse them to fill them up with their beverages since they ran out of clean glasses! The ladies room was HORRIBLE and filthy! They had paper towels as toilet in the stales and when we let the staff know the restroom needed to be serviced because there was clogged toilets and paper towels as toilet paper they said, " thank you for the information" and did nothing! I used to take my family to this restaurant once a month, or on birthdays. last week my children and my wife invited me there for my birthday and for the second time iwe found hair in the food, I tried quietly to speak to one of the supervisors without anyone else knowing. all he tried to do was to tell me that the hair is not from his people, and it has to be from one of the customers. I have 4 children and my wife, none of us wanted to eat, all we did was just ask for the bill, and paid that much money and left. wondering how come a place like that not able to keep the food in a good condition, and on the other side not able to hire a supervisor whose able to handle issues like that. read more

We understand if meat came around slower equally for every tables, but obviously servers were avoiding our table. We even started to count how many times servers stopped by our table and how many for the table next to us (white family)... Is this happening because we are Asian? Our food and service was amazing!! Top notch for sure! The salad bar was scrumptious, the meats, the bread melts - simply melts in your mouth AND our server Ariella was AMAZING! She made the night so special by reccomending variety of meats, wine, and salad bar helpings! I don't eat red meat, but there were so many other varieties of chicken that was perfect!! My hubby is the meat eater - and every time they cut meat for him the smell was AMAZING! He couldn't stop raving about every cut! The inhouse chimichurra sauce was a perfect pairing too! Just when we thought our night was coming to an end, Ariella reccomended the most delicious dessert (tres lechas) and down to the very last moment provided us 5 star service! We were seated quickly & service was excellent as was the food, however I found you still must ask for premium cuts of meat (rib eye, filet, etc.) as they do not seem to bring them by unless requested. If you like paying $60 for a salad bar, go for it! First time I've ever left a Brazilian Steak house hungry. Had the card on green for most of the visit and had very few offers of meat. When they did eventually come by they'd give me a bite size piece of meat. Some of the meat was tough, some was undercooked and some was just gross. But nothing. When someone came to get our dishes, we asked for bread and refills on water. We were desperate. Took forever to get them. But funny enough they were quick to get our check and turn our table over. I was appalled. Buffet salad bar was unorganized and dirty and half unstocked our first round. Second round was more stocked but messed and disarray. Everything we had was just plain ok and definitely not worthy the $61 per person and to be ignored. So thank you Fogo De Chao Plano for a horrible anniversary dinner and experience. Instead of enjoying our dinner we were left talking about when the waiter will be back with our stuff or hmm if you see someone ask for them for refill and bread etc. Your restaurant is known for celebrations, great food and a nice atmosphere and your fell short of that. I had frequented the Addison location and even celebrated our anniversary there. The service at that location and dining was top notch and I am sad that the Legacy location didn't live up to the standards. You should reevaluate your customer service! read more

This event was great. Service was awesome, food for the most part tasted good and the location/free parking for the restaurant is an added plus. Because we were here for a yelp elite event, we had a big section tucked away in the back of the restaurant and it worked out great. I've been to FDC several times and the food is how I remembered. The only feedback is the servers sometimes didn't know the temperature of meat and when specifying I wanted something medium, it was usually well done. I LOVE the garlic steak, but all were extremely overcooked during this visit which was very disappointing. I come to this location very frequently. We love going to the Bar Fogo for the happy hour, and typically order off of the menu rather than getting the full crowded experience at the main restaurant. Things have seemed to really go downhill at this place. We took some family that was in town, so we were a table of 7. The young man brought us only one bowl with 4 breads in it, which was strange because that was only enough for half of us. We had 2 servers that we never saw after placing our drink orders. The manager had to come and take our food order, which was wrong when it came out so one person from our party did not eat because it just took too long. I don't know, there's just so many other places in the area that are deserving of 5 stars from food to service and this is just not it.
