Some plates don't have labels nor a serving ware (for the entire 2 hours I was there)

Really can't complain too much when I had a full churrasco for almost half the price using a reward but compared to other Fogo de Cabo locations in the Bay Area, this place needs a revamp - primarily related to the cold bar. [[HIGHLIGHT]]To be frank, the restaurant seemed to be undergoing a renovation of sort but it looked disheveled with the cold bar in the main area out of service covered in sheeting (aesthetically not very pleasing).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Moreover, it was inconvenient and almost hazardous to get to the cold bar on the other side through the construction.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also, this side of the restaurant with the one working cold bar also had staff taking their breaks, which is generally fine and understandable but also adds to the overall ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Finally, there were a few items that did not have labels or needed refill - even with the benefit of the doubt, but does not help the lacking experience. Otherwise, service was ok (had to flag down my server for appetizers) and meats were plentiful in the end though it was a rather packed day and the cuts seemed to often run out at the table with the party of 14 people. However, I did notice this location is charges a bit less for the churassco compared to the other Bay locations. Perhaps I was paying the price.

We had actually been here once before and had a horrible service experience, but someone gave us a $100 gift card, so we decided to give this location another chance. As soon as we walked in, we were sooo glad we made a reservation. It was packed at 6 p.m. on a Friday night. Once we were seated, we were greeted by our server, Ray. He did try to upsell us, but we already knew we wanted the basic all-you-can-eat dinner without the lobster tail or extra add-ons. It took a little while for our drinks to come out, but once we had those and our flip cards, we got salad and waited for the meat to come by. The meat took about 5-10 minutes to start coming around, which was a little unfortunate since we finished our salads pretty quickly. Once we asked a busser if they could send someone over, Ray took over and got the meat coming out consistently. Our absolute favorite was the Arrachera--it was JUICY! Ray also did a great job keeping my husband's Coke refilled and making sure the mashed potatoes never got low without bringing us more. We were really impressed with Ray's service, so we asked for a manager to come by just to let them know what an awesome job he was doing. A lead came over first, but he seemed a little preoccupied. Another manager, Pedro, came by, and we let him know how great Ray was. Pedro was much more excited and appreciative, and he was awesome as well. When we got the check, Pedro took care of us, which we were not expecting and honestly did not ask for. We left Ray a nice tip and headed out. This experience completely changed our opinion of this location. After our first visit, we weren't sure we would ever come back, but Ray and the team really turned it around. We will definitely be back again.

Fogo de Chão on Santana Row in San Jose is undoubtedly the most famous Brazilian steakhouse in the area, and the crowds prove it. However, while it hits the spot for a celebratory meal, management could iron it out operationally. It may not be the best Brazilian BBQ in the area, but it is a solid experience, but learn to game the system. Strategy: Getting a 6:15 PM reservation was our savior, seated right on time. If you think you will walk in or get a table on time with a reservation at 7:00 PM or later, think again. The restaurant was incredibly backed up as the night goes on because the table service was slow. The meats & service was a mixed bag: The biggest drawback was the pace. The meats came out veeeeery slowly and in inconsistent spurts. There wasn't a great selection early on, which forces you to stay longer just because you're waiting to try different cuts, cheeses, and the pineapple. The gaucho and waiter service tried really hard and were mostly attentive, but the restaurant is clearly understaffed. A few times we asked different servers for something, only for them to say they'd check on it and never return. The Winners: Picanha (prime sirloin cap) is easily the best meat on the menu, closely followed by the standard sirloin. The chicken was wonderfully moist and delicious, the Portuguese sausage was good, and the iconic cheese bread and mashed potatoes held their own. From the non-meat options, the fried cheese with honey was excellent, and the grilled pineapple was a nice, unique highlight. Needs work: The garlic Picanha and the bacon-wrapped beef were both well-done and dry. The filet mignon was also a letdown with a less-than-ideal texture. Final Verdict: We had a birthday in our group, and the restaurant generously provided a free dessert of our choice, which was a nice touch. For 4 people, the bill came to about $500 including a drinks, tax, and tip. We opted for the Full Churrasco experience. It was good.

It's been awhile since I've been to Fogo and tbh I was slightly disappointed. While the meat selection is always great and very delicious, the service tonight was subpar. It took probably a half hour to get a bottle of wine we ordered and even then it took them a half hour to tell us they didn't have the bottle. It felt like we got cut off on meats fairly quick even tho my card was green and then we got some tap water which also took a good chunk of time. The location itself is really nice, and the dining room is great with a lot of parking near by, but yeah service just took a hit tonight.

Me and my wife came to this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. When we entered the restaurant we were greeted by staff. Staff were very friendly and polite. We waited at the bar for a few minutes until they got our table ready. I ordered the gold rush drink. The drink was very refreshing and delicious. We ordered the full churrasco meal which included all meats and salad bar. Let me tell you it was a great experience. The food was wonderful and delicious. Our waiter Santiago was great and very engaging. He made sure we were receiving great customer service and that we were able to try meats that we wanted. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was customer friendly and very pleasant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu choices were wonderful and I will be back to try their Happy Hour.

Came here with a couple of friends. We got the full churrasco and got to try many cuts of meat. Shout out to the servers though, they were working many tables and the area I was in, there was a female server and Santiago who were very attentive and checked up on us very frequently. For the food, I personally enjoyed the picanha and the filet mignon a lot. The fat on the picanha has some charred flavor but it melts in your mouth and the filet mignon is very tender. At the end of this, I could not walk. We also got multiple deserts, of which I liked the creme brulee cheesecake as there was a lot of the cream cheese filling. The key lime pie was like any key lime pie I won't lie and I didn't try the lava cake.

The ambiance was really nice and the service was amazing. Usually at Brazilian steakhouses they keep bringing meat nonstop and you end up eating in a rush trying to keep up Here it felt much more relaxed and enjoyable. The buffet was super clean and everything tasted fresh. The meats were cooked really well, juicy without being overly burnt outside. Also it didn't feel like everything was covered in heavy butter because after eating we didn't leave feeling sick or overly full, which I really appreciated. We celebrated my husband's birthday here and they brought complimentary dessert. Everyone saying "happy birthday" when we walked in was such a cute touch and made the night feel more special. The inside is modern, spacious, and designed. Definitely one of the best Brazilian places we've tried around here. Pretty sure this is going to be our go-to spot now whenever we want Brazilian food.

Taking a break from big backing and decided to check out the happy hour menu from fogo de chao for lunch. We parked at the garage attached to the restaurant and parking was free. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Crowded restaurant as everyone is watching the soccer games, we scored 2 seats at the bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ofc big back thought came up but we stuck to the happy hour menu items. Ordered all 5 items and still had leftovers to take home. We got the empanadas, grilled cheese, saucy leg wings, chicken sliders, and the Picanah burger. Luckily the bar is spacious, otherwise these dishes won't fit. Delicious, delicious, delicious, will definitely be back

Fogo de Cháo in my opinion is the epitome fine dining serving delicious Brazilian steakhouse food. The food is marinated and grilled to perfection. Their servers are quick as serving the meat straight from the kitchen oven to you quickly so that the meat is still fresh and piping hot. The quality of the meat is top notch. The selection is also abundant. The included all-you-can-eat salad bar, soup, bread is fantastic. Great selection of greens and salads, cold meats to choose from. While I am not a big wine person, I can see that Fogo de Cháo offers are wide variety of wine selection for its customers. They have newly remodelled the restaurant at the San Jose, Santana Row location and the ambience is magnificent. I have been to this restaurant location many times and this newly remodelled space is great.

We ordered from the All day happy hour: cheap prices but big portions. They have fifa World Cup playing on their TVs. No sound. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Elegant ambiance[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The full churrrasco experience is worth it if you want to try different cuts of unlimited meats. They served pork chop, lamb chop, ribeye, top and bottom sirloin, roasted chicken, bacon-wrapped pork, grilled pineapple, Brazilian cheese with honey, and many more. Some of my favorites were the ribeye, pork chop, grilled pineapple, and roasted chicken. A few of the other meats, like top and bottom sirloin, were a bit dry and bland compared to the rest. In addition to the meats, the churrasco experience also includes access to the salad bar, which has a variety of salads, breads, fruits, cheeses, cold cut meats, and vegetables. I also tried the passion fruit caipirinha, which was surprisingly good. Cocktails can sometimes be too sweet or too strong, but this one was perfectly balanced. It had fresh passion fruit pieces and was refreshing. Our waiter was friendly and polite. Service was slow at times, but he still provided great service throughout the meal. Another staff member also came by to check in and ask if we needed anything, which helped make sure everything was going smoothly. There's a parking garage nearby that is free for the first two hours, but you will need to pay if you stay longer. Just remember your license plate number, since it's required when paying through the QR code app.

Im honestly sad to post this review, but unlike my other fogo experiences at this location and others, our last visit was a nightmare. I made reservations for a group of 6 for a Saturday at 3:30pm for their $39.99 special. We thought about a very late lunch so hoping less people. Got there at 3:15pm and checked in for our reservation. Our table wasnt ready at 3:30. A couple more minutes passed, and at 3:45pm we still werent seated. We were finally seated at 4:40 pm. A whole hour and 10 minutes PAST our 3:30 reservation!! Got seated to an empty table. No plates, utensils, water, sides. We sat for 15 minutes and no server. We went for the salad bar, got our own plates. Finally, 1 gaucho came. We still didnt have utensils! We had to ask for water, sides, and utensils - all at freaking different times. We had maybe 4 meats during the entire dining experience. At this point, i had just lost my appetite and wanted to leave. To make matters worst, i ask for the check and we were charged at the regular price instead of the $39.99 special - their reasoning: IT WAS DINNER TIME (not eligible for promo at dinner) and cut-off was 4pm!!! Im livid at this point. I explained what happened and that we wouldve qualified for lunch $39.99 promo price if it wasnt for their mismanagement of guests and reservations. Still, they didnt budge and we still paid full price. That was my Dad's birthday that we tried to make special. They had lost a loyal customer for sure....

We had a wonderful family celebration at Fogo de Chão San Jose, and the food and atmosphere were excellent. Our server, Santiago, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcomed throughout the meal. Manager Piper also went out of her way to check on us and made our experience even more special. Their outstanding hospitality made this one of the best dining experiences we've had. Highly recommend this restaurant, and I hope Santiago, Piper and Brian receive the recognition, promotion and pay raises that they truly deserve!

Ask the Community - Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse

Is there parking that ISN'T covered parking? We can't park our truck in a garage. Any suggestions for parking for oversized vehicles?

You can find parking on the street across the restaurant

Can I go at 2pm for lunch ayce on Friday?

Yes you can take advantage of lunch prices at that time frame. You can eat for as little as $18 per person

    Is this unlimitted steak?

It's supposed to be unlimited but the amount of times the servers come to your table, it feels limited

If You get the salad bar any one meat selection, is that one meat portion or as much as you want of that meat?

As much as you want and as long as your green circular card is facing up, they will keep on offering different kinds of meat.

What is the AYCE price? I see $41, $52, and $71 on yelp pictures posted by customers. I don't get it.

    Solar, lunch, & dinner!

Is there a special new years fixed menu or pricing?

I just looked at that and it looked like fixed prices for the New Year's Eve, hope this helps

Is there parking? And can we come walking in?

There is garage parking near by, you can show up as a walk-in but I highly recommend doing a reservation to avoid waiting too long. This place gets pretty busy during the weekends and evenings.

Planning to go on my sons 7th bday, my son is little for a 7 years old, does he eat free?

In our group we had two kids and they were half price so $35

Does the $39 Best of Brazil include salad bar?

    It did, when we went.

Do they add gratuity on the bill or we can fill that out?

You can fill it out yourself. They have preset options to circle and an option to provide a custom tip.

Any discount for person who has birthday ? Thank you

Register on their website to receive their newsletter and enter your birthdate. Then you'll receive a $25 off coupon to celebrate.

    Are 2 year olds allowed?

Yes, I saw kids younger than 2.

    What is the corkage fee?

$35, free if you buy another bottle from them

How much do they charge for children?

Free for 6 and under - half price from 7-12.

Is it dinner prices all day friday to sunday?

What is the dress code here?

    Casual

    Is it all-you-can-eat style?

    Yes!

Does the entry price include Market Table and Feijoada bar ? For example, does the $48 for Chilean sea bass covers access to the market table? Thanks?

To answer your second question it is yes. I went to the website to verify.

What's the difference between menus of dinner and brunch, ? Which one is better to attend?

Price point for sure as Dinner is $68 vs Brunch's $53. Meat selection is relatively the same but Brunch will serve Brunch-style items at the Market Table and Brunch cocktails. In terms of which one is better, that really depends on what you're in…

Is there enough food for vegetarians?

    No.

The staff here are really nice and helpful too. They even give you complimentary containers of their salt rub. My partner and I specifically come here specifically for their Picanha steaks which are extremely high quality and affordable. They're great to cook using the reverse sear method or grill like they do at Brazilian steak houses. They taste fantastic with chimichurri or even just with flaky salt because of how buttery the steaks are on their own. The last time we were here, we got 10 steaks for around $150 and we seriously thought we'd be spending way more. Of course the cost will depend on what you, like the prime rib here is very expensive, but weigh out your options! I do think everything else here seems to be a great price for the quality compared to mass grocers. I'd highly recommend anyone to check out this shop!

I understand people may be ok with that, but not for me. They said they can cook it but will be 35 to 40 minutes and we said that is perfectly fine and understood. But 20 minutes in, the Chef came in gracefully to share that he can't cook it, and he will bring it now, and if we slice it and don't like it, he can then cook the slices. Me and my son thought that we should be able to eat it, even if it was a bit on the rare side, and we did. It wasn't the perfect situation for us, which is the 3 stars, but it wasn't bad. Moral of the story, if you like your tomahawk cooked in one piece, this is not the place for you. For me if it is slices, then it is no longer tomahawk but rather sliced steaks and that's not why I am here. Will we go there again? Most probably, but 100% not for tomahawk.

She was delightful and engaging while I was waiting for my friends and told her about some special needs for one individual which she did a perfect job assisting. Entrees included lamp chips, truffle fries, and a couple of orders of the pappardelle pasta and braised short ribs. Too full for dessert but another special martini and coffee. From the moment we checked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and making a reservation about a month in advance definitely paid off since the restaurant was packed. For starters, we ordered the fried chicken & cornbread and the summer peach salad. The chicken and cornbread were easily a 10/10 super crispy, well seasoned, and the cornbread was rich and buttery. The peach salad with friend goat cheese (YUM!) was really fresh and bright, a nice lighter dish to balance out everything else. I also had a glass of rose. For mains, we had the Prime Ribeye and the 7oz Harris Ranch Prime Filet, both cooked exactly how we asked and full of flavor. We shared a bottle of Duckhorn cab, and I appreciated that their wine list felt reasonably priced for the quality. We corked what we didn't finished and took it home. The only slight downside was our table being in a bit of a funky spot along a walkway, but service was attentive enough that it never really became a problem. Overall, I'd absolutely come back, and next time I'm saving room for dessert.

This review is long overdue!…read more From the moment we sat down, Luke made our entire dining experience unforgettable. He was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely excited to help us experience the best of the menu. To start, we were surprised with complimentary spicy meatballs and fresh crudités served with a delicious mascarpone cheese dip, a thoughtful touch that immediately set the tone for the evening. When we asked Luke for his recommendations, he absolutely delivered. We ordered the pork fried rice, and wow... 10/10! It was packed with flavor and is something I still think about. For our main course, Luke recommended the chef's choice preparation of the Chateaubriand, and it was phenomenal. Perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and one of the best steaks we've ever had. For appetizers, we ordered multiple rounds of the chilled oysters, a non-negotiable whenever my husband and I dine somewhere that serves fresh oysters. They were incredibly fresh and delicious. The cocktail menu was just as impressive. Every drink had its own unique flavor profile and beautiful presentation, making each one feel like an experience of its own. To finish the evening, we ordered the tableside Sticky Toffee Pudding, and it was the perfect ending. The presentation was fun, interactive, and absolutely delicious. Be.STEAK delivers so much more than just an incredible meal, it's a complete dining experience. The food, cocktails, presentation, and service were all exceptional, but Luke truly elevated the entire night. His recommendations were spot on, his hospitality was outstanding, and he made us feel genuinely welcomed from beginning to end. We can't wait to come back and will absolutely be asking for Luke again. Thank you for making our evening so memorable!

Terrific Food, Drinks, and Excellent Service!…read more I recently brought my daughter to Be.Steak.A for Sunday Brunch for her Birthday and it was excellent. Carlton provided excellent service from the start to the finish of our brunch. He was very friendly, detailed, knowledgeable, service-oriented, efficient, and professional. My daughter and I have eaten at many excellent restaurants and this is definitely one of them with the hot food and service from Carlton. We started off by ordering their three specialty Mocktails that they have listed in their drink menu. It was Amaro Almond Sour, SOHO Seventy Five, and Bitter Little Thing. I also requested a Strawberry Mojito. Their drinks are terrific! We could definitely taste and distinguish the different flavors within the drinks which were combined expertly. Hats off to the bartender. For the food, we headed straight to the hot food in the kitchen area where it was well presented and displayed. We had terrific Crispy Ribs, Salmon, Prime Rib, Beef Wellington, and Clam Chowder. There are many other choices and selections of foods which is all based on your personal preference. You definitely won't be disappointed. The Prime Rib and Clam Chowder were top notch and exquisite. We also tried their seafood station which included oysters, shrimp, fish, and crab. Those were good. The caviar station was nicely displayed with the different types of caviar. The caviar, with our understanding and perception, was a disappointment. It lacked true flavor, character, and ambience. But the dessert station was brilliant, impressive, and awe-inspiring. We tried a variety of cakes, the creme brulee, boba, mille-feuille, chocolate mousse, and they were terrific. Carlton brought out my daughter's birthday presentation and it is definitely something to enjoy. We thoroughly enjoyed the brunch and expert service from Carlton. Overall, an excellent experience with terrific food and and excellent service! Buongiorno!

I really love the baked potato and salad. Oh my goodness, salad were fresh. I love my baked garlic bread with the tomato sauce. They gave a back yard which is great for an amazing Californian weather. The kids love the tomato sauce with the bread so that's a hit with the picky eaters in our group. I would go here if your group likes meat or from out of town.

I took my parents to Fleming's for lunch on Memorial Day, May 25, 2026. My server's name is Haro. Haro is an awesome server: provided recommendations, attentive to details, verified and communicated back to the customers to ensure service is at top speed and quality. Examples: * My dad was going to order the Prime Spinalis Ribeye Cap; however, the restaurant was out of the ribeye cut and hence, Haro recommended the Wagyu Surf & Turf dish, which completely "wow" my dad. * My mom wants to order the Barbeque Salmon Fillet, but she was concerned there may be diary as she is allergic to dairy products. Haro informed the chef of the concern and confirmed back with us that the barbeque glaze does contain diary. But fear not, as this rockstar chef created an impromptu dish with salmon that made my mom happy and satisfying. Another shout-out to Haro's superb service is during dessert time. We were so full that I didn't plan on ordering dessert, but my love for Fleming's Chocolate Lava Cake made me order anyway. With sweets, I had to order black coffee. Dad decided to get coffee too after hearing how Fleming's freshly coffee is good. When mom saw the coffee, she wanted to try it as well. We asked Haro for another cup, but instead of just a cup, Haro came out with another freshly brewed coffee and stated it is for my mom and on the house. These little things will let you see what makes a good server versus an outstanding server. Furthermore, Haro also asked if we drink. Dad can, but neither me nor my mom drink. With this knowledge, Haro came out with another surprise: 1 champagne with alcohol for dad and 2 virgin champagnes for mom and me. The champagne completely took my breath away as it was that good! My parents were in awe as well! Splendid service!! Dishes ordered: * Appetizers: Crab Cakes, Sweet Chili Calamari, Thai Green Beans, Sauteed Mushrooms * Main Course: * Steamed Ginger Seabass ginger-soy sesame broth, carrot-leek-scallion sauté, fresno chili, cilantro 360 cal | 57 * Barbeque Salmon Fillet mushrooms, barbecue glaze * Wagyu Surf & Turf 7oz Australian Carrera Wagyu Strip topped with black garlic sauce, crab fried rice, crispy tempura shrimp, gochugaru flakes * Desserts & Drinks: * Chocolate Lava Cake (rich chocolate cake with a molten center of callebaut belgian chocolate, served with premium vanilla ice cream & house-made tuile) * Freshly Brewed Coffee * Champagne (on the house) * Iced Tea * Strawberry Lemonade

You order at the counter, get a number, pick where you want to sit, and they bring the food to you. Even before my food came out, I noticed a weird, unpleasant sour smell in the air while sitting down. The food came out pretty fast and the prices were pretty fair, but overall the food quality wasn't great. Grilled Grass Fed Steak - $22.99 Rating: (3/10) It hurt a little when I ordered and the cashier at the front didn't ask me how I wanted the steak cooked. They even ask at Chili's how you'd like your steak done. The steak was cooked medium (a bit overcooked for my liking) and was pretty dry toward the side pieces. I also think there needed to be a bit more seasoning variety than just salt and pepper, since it tasted pretty bland. The fries were okay, a bit too salty and under fried. A lot of the bites I had were filled with massive salt crystal chunks. But the real meal and dish killer was the brussels sprouts. First off, it looked nothing like the pictures on the website. The brussels sprouts were way undercooked. The balsamic dressing was unpalatable, purely a bad balsamic vinaigrette, overwhelmingly harsh with a throat burning sourness that overpowered the dish rather than balancing it. It also tasted like sugary corn syrup mixed with harsh vinegar, coating veggies in a sticky, cloying film. Looking back, that pungent vinaigrette could be what I was smelling in the air before my food even came out.
