First it was the brunch takeout giving me a lid that doesn't fit, a small cup that doesn't equal the high cost of the soda go back to $2.00, and then food I never got a refund back when promised when talking to the manager over the phone forgot his name. The soda issue and hard cinnamon roll. Rude hosts, 2nd time a female waitress who waited on me was cold she barely waited on me or ask if I needed anything this was a month ago, then today an African American male waited on me, pressuring me to order quickly. I have allergic reactions to things. I can't order fast. Don't like to be rushed. He came back a third time and said are you ready now. I asked him can I get my brisket with sauce on side he said sure. Food came out 15 minutes later. He snapped at me saying that I didn't want the sauce. I said I wanted it on the side. To noisy in restaurant no wonder he took it wrong. He didn't ask if I need anything like he did with the ladies in front of me. I definitely didn't like the screaming out of control kid bothering me and hurting my ear with loud noises. Customer parents need to control their kids behavior. I also didn't like the waiter not asking me for a refill with a to go cup he just brought it to me and walked away. I was definitely offended and upset. Not coming back. Dad took me out to lunch, been 3 years since I went to this location. With Lando exploding it's hard to get a table. Very slow when we went, so fast service. He was great didn't bother us and brought H2O before we were out. The Burnt ends Melt was amazing the cheese the sauce the bread toasted but buttery. Nom nom! Dad got the classic american burger but he said the red onions over powered it so be took them off. Fries are changed no longer wedges but common run of the mill steak fries. The ambiance was phenomenal. They definitely put a lot of work into keeping the car theme going inside the restaurant. The bathrooms were even themed well. Now the service is the reason points were lost. The waitress gave us zero seconds to even look at the menu before asking what we wanted to drink. We said we needed a minute which should've been more obvious since we had literally just sat down. Then we get our food and we felt like we had to ask anyone else for help because she was nowhere to be found. The ambiance and food were really good and we will definitely be back but I just hate feeling rushed and then having to hunt down our waitress further into the meal. Stopped in to watch the football game on a Sunday afternoon and sat at the bar (due to the 30min wait for a table). They were busy and as I sat down, the woman next to me warned me the service was slow but because I was there to watch the game, I wasn't bothered by that. I ordered a drink, 'Merica which was like a Moscow mule with some blueberries in it, which had a nice spicy ginger kick. I also ordered Buffalo wings and truffle fries to eat there and key lime pie to go. The Buffalo wings had good flavor but could have been cooked a little more cause the skin was kinda chewy. The fries were the same, good flavor but they could have used another minute or two in the fryer. The restaurant was busy and while the decor was cute, the little car horns honking frequently lost it's charm and I decided to leave at halftime to watch the game at home. My server, Adam, was friendly and told me they make their key lime pie in house(& it was SO good!), those were the two major wins! Plus lots of TVs to catch sports games. This was my second time at this location. As always their drinks are spectacular! Our waitress was also super sweet. I was a little disappointed in the buffalo mac and cheese this time around. Last time, it was a perfect mac n cheese, chicken and buffalo sauce. This time I feel like they put WAY too much buffalo sauce (I love buffalo sauce but I felt like it was 90% buffalo lol) and way too much over powering. I would like to see more consistency with this and more of a good balance of flavors like the first time I had it. Other than that, the punch (cruise something was stellar!) It had a good bit of alcohol in it and tasted GREAT! I love the decor here as well! My father in law had a blast looking at all the car related decor. We were told our wait time would be 20-25 minutes for a party of 2 and it was over an hour and would have been longer if my husband hadn't said something to the manager. I understand they can't control how long people sit after eating (although we have been at restaurants that post no longer than 2 hours at a table). My husband ordered the Smokehouse BBQ Brisket sandwich with mac and cheese, sandwich was good, mac and cheese not so much. I ordered the Patty Melt, very little sauce and the sandwich was not hot, had coleslaw not that good and it wasn't cold so I have no idea if it had been sitting out for awhile or not. Ford's Garage is a unique experience mainly due to the decor used throughout the restaurant, right down to the napkin holders and into the bathrooms. Even the names of the various menu items have a tie to the Ford motor company history. Our experience with the staff has always been good. The food I would say is about average, nothing to go wow over, but we've not experienced bad food either. We come here occasionally, and due to the uniqueness of the decor, we will bring out of town family and friends here, especially if they like cars. It has always been a big hit! Another nice thing is they are dog friendly and we enjoy having our fur baby with us and sit in the outdoor area. read more

The first time that I discovered a Ford's Garage, I was down in Fort Myers, Florida on a business trip and checked out their location is a outlets shopping center. I was an instant fan. Ford's Garage has some pretty impressive burgers and I honestly do not think that I have ever ordered another entree other than one of their great burgers. I guess if you find something that you enjoy, why mess with your options. Ford's Garage has since been growing throughout Florida and that is great news for residents and travelers to the Sunshine State alike. Ford's Garage has a gas station motiff, which is pretty cool. The service here is friendly and professional and, as I have said before, they have some truly amazing hamburgers. They have a great selection of drinks, nice and cold, and I have to mention those great burgers one last time. All in all, I will give this location five stars for an overall excellent experience. My family and I went to grab Sunday fun day lunch at Ford's Garage in Lutz (across from the Tampa Outlet Mall) and I was so surprised how quickly we were seated! We walked right in and quickly sat at a table. No wait time even though they were pretty busy. Our server, Stephen was awesome and super pleasant. Friendly and prompt service. Stephen was very attentive. My husband tried the Monte Cristo - it's massive! They did not skimp on the meat. The patty melt was ok, but turns out I do not like Rye bread so it's no fault of theirs, lol. The cornbread! SO GOOD! All of the staff members we encountered were very helpful and friendly. They were slow taking orders , bringing the check , and getting orders punched in correctly. They were not very busy so I can't imagine the poor service in a crowded situation. They brought the lady beside me the wrong order 2 times. We would have loved a second beer but never were asked. We couldn't get their attention and when we were able to nothing happened in a timely fashion. There was a manager looking fellow who spent 20+ minutes talking to a couple of customers but he never looked around or offered them any support. I finally got to come here for the first time and I was really impressed. The interior is pretty cool, they have two Ford vehicles on a lift, a few pieces of clothing you can buy upon entering. Our waitress was super nice and her service was excellent. I took the suggestion of the waitress and got the Estate Burger without the sweet red onion marmalade, I got it on the side instead as the waitress and I both agreed it was a bit too sweet. My son got one of their specials, I cannot remember the name, although it had a burger and a mac and cheese patty. We got tots and fries as sides and those were good, nothing over the top. I wouldnt be writing this review if not for the weird location of Blaze Pizza. Directly across from Earth Fare is not where it is. Anyhoo, I had seen some yelpers write about another branch of this in Citrus Park/WC so after struggling for 45 minutes to find Blaze, I parked and ate here because I was hungry. Upon entering, you'll notice the Ford logo emblazoned on top and a plethora of archaic gas pumps , and old fashioned Ford car models. Even the bathroom has sinks made of converted tires which is a gas. There is an indoor and patio seating which is nice. In the center is the bar. They specialize in burgers and traditional American fare. They have a wide selection of beers and mixed drinks. I got the 'Merica Mule (MURRICA!) which was $10. It was very refreshing. 4/5 I decided to go with the Estate Burger . It sounded nice from the description. The patty was well seasoned and juicy. The best part about it was the bacon aoili and jam that gave it a sweet tang to offset the savory patty. 4/5 Madison was my server and she was very friendly and gave me recommendations on what to order. There aren't any glaring negatives, but note that this has classic American rock songs being played and is a bit noisy. My husband and I have been coming here since they opened and are usually content with the food, etc...but the one thing that has stood out more often is the service. Sometimes it has been hit or miss at the bar but one server in particular always stands out. Jenna (Red) took care of us recently and we will definitely be back to request her in the future. She always has a smile on her face and always makes it seem like we are her only customers. That goes a long way! Hopefully she will be there for years to come! All the memorabilia on walls and the bathrooms were very interesting! The 2 bars had ice counters where you could sit your drinks snd they stay cool. I had burger as did my hubby and son. You could choose many that were 1/2 lb but I just got normal no frill American burger 1/3 lb and it was cooked just way I like it. Our service was awesome! I have to give them they have good burger. We were here for the restaurant week. You probably save $5 on the restaurant week menu. We like pretzel. They are fresh from oven. The buffalo chicken dip is average but the chip is crispy. We have the Brisket Ranchero Roaster. It is burger top with brisket and bourbon bbq sauce. It has fried onions make it crispy. The accompanying tot is good. We close out with milk shake and the famous funnel cake. I like funnel cake with the white chocolate dip. The service was good. The table setting for six is comfortable. Fords garage has been a go to place since we moved here two years ago. We went tonight for my husbands birthday dinner, and have learned our lesson to go early. They don't take reservations, and the place fills up fast. We got there shortly before 5, and were seated immediately! Our waiter, Phil (amazing!!) greeted us promptly, and took our drink order right away. My husband ordered a key lime flavored shanty beer (yummy despite sounding weird-it had the perfect tang) and I got the standard Bloody Mary. For dinner we decided on the tower of onion rings which were perfectly crisp and came with two dipping sauces-one a ranch style and a spicy ketchup as well. We all got burgers for our meals. I got the Estate burger (no bun) and the garlic mayo and bacon jam is to die for. My husband got his favorite-the High Octane burger which has the perfect kick. And my daughter did a build your own which is always fun to do. My only complaint is the burgers and fries are consistently good but under seasoned.
