I've been coming to Ford's Garage for years because it's my dad's favorite spot, and I feel like every time I go, the experience gets better and better. The food and drinks are delicious, the service is always amazing, and the ambiance of the restaurant is so unique and fun. These new cocktails on the menu (Mai Tai'r and Cruise Control) can be served "pitcher style" in a gas tank, which is so fun! Perfect for a group to share and take pictures of. I can't leave the restaurant without getting my favorite buffalo chicken dip, sweet potato tots (with caramel sauce to dip) and beer flight! read more

Was highly disappointed in this place. The burgers look fantastic in the pictures, but the burgers lack flavor. Not only do they lack flavor but they undercook their burgers. Don't get me wrong, I love a bloody steak, and a medium rare burger, but the burger I received was severely undercooked and mushy and not even very warm. We had to send it back, the server wanted to do right , which we appreciated, but again, the next burger came out cooked the same but warmer. Had the burger been seasoned better, maybe I would have enjoyed it. But also, you would think they would cut the burger in half to ensure it wasn't undercooked. The Mac and cheese here is also sad. Not enough cheese at all, very bland. I hope this restaurant does better in the future with this feedback. Might try it again one day, but not anytime soon. read more

It was my first time here. The ambience of the restaurant is really nice. There is tons of cool memorabilia on the walls and merchandise you can purchase. They have a pretty large menu, though burgers are there stable. They offer brunch on Sunday, with a number of breakfast options. I ordered the pretzel sticks. They were served with cheese dip and honey mustard. I expected some kind of a beer cheese, though it was more like nacho cheese. They were fried and kind of greasy but soft and fluffy. My husband had the chipotle chicken sandwich. That didn't last long! Our server seem to be annoyed and write us off, after we asked about the Ford employee discount (which is 10%) and also let him know that we were in a bit of a rush when we arrived, because my husband had to get back to work. We didn't want this to forfeit our experience, thought it was valuable information for him. He did not come back and refill our drinks. Only took our order, brought our food and then followed with our check. So service was a bit disappointing, but the food was good. read more

Our group of seven arrived at about 7:00 on a Saturday night. To avoid a 45 minute wait, we sat outside. It was warm, but mostly shaded. We had pretty good and quick service by a friendly waitress. The food was good. My patty melt wasn't the greatest I've ever had. The bread was hardly toasted and the hamburger just didn't taste great. Someone ordered the Monte Cristo and said it was good, but quite greasy. He did like the batter flavor, though. Others enjoyed the spicy Mac and cheese, cheeseburger, salad and Ahi Tuna appetizer. We checked in at 3:49, with our name & cell number. Our wait time was estimated at 15-20 minutes. The next party of 4 was promised a table in 20-30 minutes, and the next foursome was told it would be a 30-40 minute wait. We saw lots of empty tables, so lack of staff must have been the reason for long waits. We got a booth in 22 minutes. After ordering, I used the women's room. I loved the tire sinks, but hated that the towel dispenser was empty and that the hand dryer wasn't working. When an employee came out of the handicapped stall, heading for the exit, I asked her if her stall had towels. She went back in & gave me several. I mentioned that it's hard to wash your hands if you don't have something to dry your hands. As I left, I think she paused to wash her hands. I hope so. Our drinks were on the table when I got back. I squeezed lemons into my water, and needed a napkin to dry off my lemony hands. That's when I noticed we had no set ups. A passing waiter obliged us, and brought three to our table. I liked their soft napkins, which seemed like wash cloths. The burgers were good. Mine was messy to eat - 1/3 pound Cali burger with minimal lettuce and tomato, large avocado slice, and small bun. The coleslaw was heavy on vinegar, but okay. Husband and Friend enjoyed their burgers & fries. We had no room for dessert. This is a nice place, with good staff and food, but it was not a 5 star experience. Other burger places are closer to home, with more attentive staff and better food. read more

When we arrived on a Friday night, we were greeted promptly by a friendly hostes. There was a wait, but communication was clear and we were also offered to sit at the bar if we weren't interested in waiting. Once seated, we were greeted by a friendly waitress who offered us tips about ordering and was open to us asking any questions. I customized my burger with additional grilled onions, and the husband had his sauce on the side. Originally, my onions weren't there, but when my server realized she promptly bought out some and also gave me some additional hot fries since i hadn't touched my burger yet while waiting for my toping. 03/28/2023 Fords Garage is an unusual experience and I would definitely go back with guests that have never there. It is an experience! The service was great, our waitress was friendly, intuitive, and quick. The food was all great, as there were 12 of us and everyone was more than happy. Personally I had the Estate Burger with French fries. And it was a definite stand out from your everyday burger. Even the fish was done right, the person that is the hardest to please was even happy. However I don't follow the raves of other beer drinkers. The craft beers were picked by price not taste. There is no ambiance, but a lot of nostalgia for us old folks. All in all, normally if I'm going to spend that kind of money, I would go somewhere and get a meal instead of a burger. read more

This location is my favorite. We've been here twice and visited the Brandon location a handful of times. This picture is from our second visit to the Lutz location. The staff is very nice and friendly and the restaurant is kept up nicely. I chose three stars because our waiter on the particular visit wasn't very helpful. She forgot items from our order twice. I asked for plastic twice and after waiting on her a second time, I ask another staff member and they brought it right over. My girlfriend ordered a milkshake for dessert (When we put in our full order) but our waiter brought us our check and never brought the dessert. We decided to just ask another waiter for the milkshake and AGAIN they brought it out right away. I love how the staff works as a team but I think it would benefit the staff and the customer if you weed out the bad eggs or get them some more training. read more

First it was the brunch takeout giving me a lid that doesn't fit, a small cup that doesn't equal the high cost of the soda go back to $2.00, and then food I never got a refund back when promised when talking to the manager over the phone forgot his name. The soda issue and hard cinnamon roll. Rude hosts, 2nd time a female waitress who waited on me was cold she barely waited on me or ask if I needed anything this was a month ago, then today an African American male waited on me, pressuring me to order quickly. I have allergic reactions to things. I can't order fast. Don't like to be rushed. He came back a third time and said are you ready now. I asked him can I get my brisket with sauce on side he said sure. Food came out 15 minutes later. He snapped at me saying that I didn't want the sauce. I said I wanted it on the side. To noisy in restaurant no wonder he took it wrong. He didn't ask if I need anything like he did with the ladies in front of me. I definitely didn't like the screaming out of control kid bothering me and hurting my ear with loud noises. Customer parents need to control their kids behavior. I also didn't like the waiter not asking me for a refill with a to go cup he just brought it to me and walked away. I was definitely offended and upset. Not coming back.
