    Strawberry Cake

First time trying the tea room. Not busy at 1:00 on a Monday, I am sure weekends are since located in an Antique Mall. We ordered chicken Waldorf salad which was a scoop of chicken salad with a few slices of apples on the plate, with 3 small tea sandwiches- cucumber, pimento cheese and maybe banana bread. We shared a slice of strawberry cake. A nice light lunch for a really hot day. Service was good.

A hidden gem in the middle of an antique market. The best tuna melt you will ever have. Everything is homemade here and the cakes are to die for.

Charming tea room in the back of the Forestwood Antique Mall. I usually get a sandwich and soup but today I tried their chicken enchiladas and they were delicious. Their peach tea is awesome. They also serve a little tomato based small cup of soup as a little bonus to start the meal. Great place for a girls lunch and shopping!! Staff is charming as well.

Dessert is decadent: Italian Wedding Cake with Cinnamon Herbal Tea, what a treat!

They have a set lunch menu along with daily specials that include your choice of a salad or soup. Today I tried their Chicken Tortilla Soup, and it was amazing. Of course with their decadent desserts, one must try either a piece of cake or slice of pie with hot tea or coffee to round out your experience.

Wow! This place is awesome! There are slot of hidden treasures here. The tea garden cafe is great! The food is very flavorful and the the German chocolate cake is to die for! We had brunch here with our daughters. They sipped tea and ate pastry's. It's a great place to take little girls to experience a real tea party. The food is good and the prices were better!

Neat hole in the wall tea room cafe inside an antique store! Way in the back there is a little cafe open only for certain hours for tea time lunch or brunch on weekends. Friendly staff buzzing around! Popular with the mature crowd apparently! But everyone is nice! The teacups and pots are adorable and make me want to start collecting some! The cake and pie selection is good! I recommend getting the chicken fried chicken with a side of cream of mushroom soup! Comes with mashed potatoes and green beans! So flavorful and crunchy on the outside! The sauce they put on it is amazing! It's probably mostly cream or butter but so good! Haha! The strawberry chicken salad was huge and healthy! Comes with blue cheese and dressing! The strawberry cake is good and huge also! The cream cheese frosting makes it sweet but not too sweet! I would go back! Get the pot of tea!

This is a fine spot for brunch. The staff were kind and the food hit the spot. It's a little hidden but it's worth a visit.

Please note that parking in this area is particularly difficult but if you come in the morning, it should be easier to find. Another thing worth nothing is that they are more of a quick standing coffee bar type of place and I definitely wouldn't recommend it for families or kids, so keep that in mind when visiting. Now to the food... They have a small but mighty menu for breakfast and lunch. For my first time I decided to try their The Monte Duro, which is a pastry style "hot pocket" with smoked prosciutto, mortadella, mustard and jam. For drink I decided to go with their Dirty Chai Latte. The drink was absolutely perfection and exactly what I needed in a warm Texas morning. The Monte Duro was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor! Both my friend and I ordered the same thing and we were both obsessed with it.

The staff is not really friendly but the vibes were still peaceful. Mushroom grilled cheese: This was so yummmy!! The bread comes perfectly crispy and buttery. There were tons of mushrooms and creamy flavor. By far one of the best grilled cheeses I ever had. Banana horchata matcha: This drink was very sweet and good for people that dont like bitter drinks. I loved the banana flavor and it reminded me of banana bread. There was also a lot of cinnamon in the drink which made it so tasty.

My friends and I enjoyed two types of two; my favorite being the Berry Garden tea made of white tea with a blackberry infusion. The teas are available for purchase in their tea library section, along with the tea steeper cups as well. $13-14 for the loose tea bags (makes up to 80 cups) and $6 for the mini steepers. I highly recommend visiting this place whether you do the tea experience or not it's such a cute spot in Bishop Arts and we got to meet the chef and our waitress, both were so friendly and personable. They said they use 3.5g of matcha for the 12oz and 4g for 16oz. I personally didn't think the matcha flavor wasn't that strong, especially for that ratio and a cup that is less than the stated amount. I expected the flavor to be stronger. I also felt like the matcha could be whisked for longer, it was a little grainy on the bottom of the drink. Ordered: - Iced House Matcha - we did oat milk and sweetened with vanilla. The girl said 2 pumps of vanilla, I said sure assuming that was normal. That was wayyy too much in my opinion. It was sooooo sweet. Diabetes in a cup. Would probably recommend 1 pump if you're doing the 12oz. - Strawberry Matcha - It was fine. Not my favorite. - Einspanner - not a fan of their cream top personally. Also... can we talk about $1.25 for milk substitutes, one of the more pricey ones but it's fine I guess. But if you're curious they used barista Califia Farms for their oat milk.
