I know why it's so busy..this places has the best bagels! It's very fresh, you can tell it's handmade daily, not something store bought. It's a very cute spot to catch up with a friend, connect with nature while you enjoy some tasty bites. Coming back here to try their coffee!
The parking lot for this place is scary small, wouldn't even risk my car in there when it's packed, street parking was doable and there's a decent amount of seating at the place, there was a decent wait but not overlong especially with how many people that were ahead of us plus mobile orders. The food was DIVINE, The BAE was absolutely stellar for breakfast and the egg was runny and delicious, would 10/10 recommend. The empanada was also good, the beef was delicious and the crust/breading was PERFECT, the olive taste was a bit overpowering but I'd give it an 8/10 would still get it. Lots of greenery and plants and shades seating, overall a pleasant weekend brunch experience!
This has been on my list for so long and it was sooo worth it. We got the dad's club sandwich, heirloom with prosciutto bagel, guava cream cheese empanada, and beef empanada! Everything was delicious but the guava empanada definitely stood out for me. Super creamy and fresh plus I just love guava. The sandwich was also veryyy refreshing and they do not skimp out on the toppings inside. My bagel also has the perfect amount of cream cheese and blended so well with the tomato and prosciutto. I did come on a Sunday around 12:00PM and the wait was about 20ish minutes so definitely not a spot when you're in a rush! The worker is also super nice. Seating is a bit limited inside but I do love the tables with umbrellas to cut out the sun. I do see more tables outside of the place aswell. Would recommend!!!!
We came to forgotten bakery on June 20th around 11:00 a.m. We had seen that an event was going to be held on this date where a guest DJ, house is a feeling, was going to be playing while other activities were going to be happening at this bakery. AKA a drag queen walking around and serving a guava Spritz to individuals that were of age to drink and a little bit of trinket making if you wanted to do that. I will call out that if you have a large party it is difficult to find places to sit because there are not a lot of tables underneath the covered area. There's also two tables outside the fence but one of them does not have an umbrella so just being mindful of if it's a sunny day you're going to get hot. So I will be honest I came in a little skeptical about how the food was going to taste because a friend of mine had stated they had come to forgotten bakery about a year ago and he said that he was not very impressed with the food and drink options. I am happy to report that when we went everything was delicious with a capital D. The empanadas that we got: beef chilean, guava; were absolutely phenomenal. The crust of the empanada was perfectly golden brown, and the texture was firm enough where when you opened up the empanada that held its shape well and the feeling inside to not fall easily. Of all of them I would say my top pick in the topic of my husband was the Chilean empanada. We are a suckers for the combination of sweet and savory together and then having that buttery crust is brought everything together. Also the oat milk latte was yummy creaminess is the easiest way to describe it. It went down a little too easily which almost made me get another one but I am sensitive to caffeine and I told myself I'll just have to come back later and get another drink from them. Lastly it is definitely off the beaten path, but so worth the trip to check out this fabulous little place.
I stopped in around 11:30am on Saturday to pick up a raffle prize for work and decided to stay and have a late breakfast. This was my second time at Forgotten Bakery as I was lucky enough to check them out during a Yelp event earlier in the year. They are located on Stockton Blvd, their building is small, but there are a few tables outside to sit at if you're able to snag one. Their parking lot is also on the small side, but there is also street parking. We ordered the Loxann on an Everything bagel, a Forgotten on a Plain bagel and a Plain bagel with butter. I also wanted to try their Coco Loco Latte which was really good! I am a big fan of Lox and really enjoyed the Loxann - I ate half there and half at home later - it was super filling! My one complaint is that the food does take a while to come out considering it is just bagels, but they have been pretty busy both times I visited and they also handle to-go/online orders as well. The employee with the cool green hair is always friendly and hustling around the chaos - I always enjoy seeing them at the counter. Overall, their bagels are pretty decent and their coffee is good too! I'm sure I will be back again soon! Check them out!
Was driving through the area and craved a bagel this morning. Decided to pop into this little corner bagel shop, they have outdoor seating which is set up very cute. We decided on a to go order because it was pretty chilly out. We split The BAE bagel and a Spinach n Cheese Empanada. Ultimately both were phenomenal, the bagel was jam packed with a generous amount of bacon/egg. The bagel itself was very tasty and exactly what i needed to start off the day. Their empanada was also very tasty, not greasy or too overpowering. Overall, the items we got were definitely delicious. Now... regarding the service, they most definitely need to get a better system figured out for their service. We waited over 25 minutes for these 2 items... I found that quite frustrating when there were less than 8 people there when we initially ordered. My assumption is that they get bombarded with mobile orders, which I definitely understand because I've worked in this type of market before. Anywho, I hope they get that part figured out soon, I'm not from the area so I will probably only come back here in a random occasion.
I love when a business knows what they are and does it well, but I admit I was misled by the name. While the shop name includes 'Bakery' it's a specialized bagel shop with a walk up counter and no indoor seating. If you're looking for a variety of pastries or a cozy indoor space to sit, this isn't it. If you are expecting a wide variety of bagel sandwiches and fancy $7 coffee, you're going to leave happy! It's a walk-up concept, so dress for the weather- I had to run back to my car for a jacket while waiting. They have email notification system for orders, which is efficient if it works. Lessons Learned: -Check the window yourself: Even if the staff says your drink isn't ready, peek at the pickup area. I received an email saying mine was ready, but the employee didn't see it behind her. By the time I found it myself, my iced coffee was watered down. -No Cash policy: They are credit/debit only. They technically can take cash if you have exact change but don't have a register to give change back. -And there's the sauce situation...If you prefer a moist sandwich, order extra sauce on the app initially. I paid double for a 1oz ramekin at the counter afterward, and having to go back to the table for a card just to pay for a tiny bit of sauce was the 'I can't win today' moment of my morning. Sum it up: The portions were good and looked delicious for those who love bagels, but for someone wishing for the variety of a local bakery, you may come up short. If you like bagels, check this place out with credit card in hand, watch your email to know when your order is up, and keep an eye on that pickup window!
I got my new "FORGOTTEN" tote bag! SITREP I had noticed the last time I was here that there was some dynamic merch to be had besides the munchie-menu! So I had to go back. THE SETUP I'm always looking for great bags to go shopping with, but I prefer to have a tote bag that goes over-my-should: not big into have to rely on carrying a bag via plastic/fabric handles. I had to come back to FORGOTTEN BAKERY because had a beautiful tote bag with handles that would slip over my shoulder easily. I bought it! It was only $20. Made of durable fabric-materials. THE LOWDOWN Now I have a really cool tote back that I can use when I go shopping at Trader Joes (TJs)! Just big enough for a day-trip when I shoot to TJs on the Light-Rail. Just big enough to limit my shopping to the number of items that I can fit into the.
Down on Stockton Blvd is an unassuming little black and white building that if you didn't have the wise and distinct knowledge about one would drive right by...what a travesty that would be. The Forgotten Bagel should be anything but a miss! Walk up to the counter, place your order with their fabulous staff and then within minutes deliciousness in forms of bagels, bagel sandwiches, or empanadas appear. If you are fortunate you will arrive early, without a line or a wait. But either way their bakery of goodness is worth the time you will spend here. Their flavors...Devine. Their bagels...Delightful. Their Empanadas...Devouring! You cannot lose by coming here. You only lose by NOT coming here. My only wish is that they had a sister store in or around Folsom. Until then, I shall make the trek to Folsom to help satisfy my bageling needs!! Thank you Forgotten Bakery for a job superbly done!
Favorite bagel spot EVER!!! (like EVER) You literally cannot go wrong with any bagel/bagel sandwich here. I lovedddd the Loxann with toasted Everything bagel. I've already tried the BAE for a Yelp Experience, and I can't choose which is my number one favorite. Definitely going to make it a mission to try every single bagel sandwich they offer. Also, the hibiscus tea is SO refreshing! I saw them calling out iced coffees for other customers and they looked soooo good. I'm coming back for a coffee on my next visit. Service here is always top tier, and they make it a mission to get your order out ASAP, no matter how busy it gets. The neighborhood they're tucked in might be off putting, but don't let that be the reason why you won't come try these bagels. By the time you're ordering and sitting down in their patio are, you kind of forget the area you're in, lol. Such cute picnic tables + fresh flowers on every single one.
Thanks to a recent Yelp Event, I got to try Forgotten Bakery. I return to try different type of bagel. Everything bagel is usually my go-to but I also love a good jalapeno and cheddar and I remember that they had it from previous visit. The bagel did not disappoint except they forgot my cream cheese on the side! I would have asked them to put the spread on but their toaster was out and I didn't want to wait 20 minutes. I figured I would toast it at home and spread the cream cheese after. Anyway, not a big deal. I'm sure it was chaotic morning for them with the toaster being out. I enjoyed the bagel with my plain cream cheese at home. I also got the Guava Cream Cheese Empanada because everyone is raving about it on Yelp. It is very good - just a bit on the sweeter side for me. Good crust and they did not skim on the cream cheese. The dusted powdered sugar was a nice touch. Come to think of it, I think this is the first time I had a sweet empanada. They are usually with savory ingredients. Check the hours before you go. They are closed on Monday and Tuesday. There is small parking lot with about 6 or 7 spots. If it's full, street parking is available. There is a nice outdoor covered patio. I imagine it will be packed once the weather is warmer.
I've been here a few times, and mainly for the 2g2g bags. Everything is made fresh and in house, so that's a huge plus. This place is located in south sac along Stockton Blvd. Not the best area, but still good to go during the day (which their hours are daytime only). Everytime I come here, the workers are really nice and help me quickly. They get me in and out quick. I have not dined here, but there is no inside seating, and instead, there is a shaded patio like area with about 5-7 tables so you can dine here. You order at the register, which is in the patio courtyard as well. The food tastes great. I've had bagels, empanadas and most recently, The BAE sandwich through a Yelp event. Everything is always good. I sometimes can't finish a 2g2g bag in one sitting so I freeze the extra bagel and eat them later. I also bought an 8oz scallion cream cheese and it was great. Even though the cream cheese was on the fridge, it still spread so well and evenly. It stayed creamy. I'll have to make a trip back to try more bagels and cream cheese. My new favorite place for bagels.
Came to try their empanadas, I heard they were good. I came on a Sunday morning. The place was very busy. There was a line to order and a bunch of people waiting for their order. Place was packed. I ordered the Guava and Cheese empanada. It was warm and had powder sugar sprinkled on top. The crust was crispy and the filling was warm. It tasted pretty good. I liked it. It was a nice little snack. I've tried their bagels before, they are pretty good also. They ingredients were fresh and the sandwich was neatly made. The seating area is outside only, they have a patio area with a cover. You may have to deal with the climate elements. It's not very big, but it has a few tables where people can enjoy their meal/drink and have a place to sit. Parking is street parking. It may be challenging if the place is busy. Overall, I like the food, I haven't tried their drinks. I would definitely come back.

I wanted to like this place. I knocked off a few stars because: 1. The wait time was nearly 40 minutes for 2 empanadas. I got my hibiscus tea timely. My sister also waited a long time for her order: bagel sandwich, two empanadas. She got her 2 drinks timely. 2. No onsite restroom. My son and I had to walk a few blocks to the La Superior Market to use the restroom. 3. IMO the empanadas were not worth the 40 minute wait time. My sister seemed to enjoy her bagel sandwich. I am not sure I would visit again, the wait time really put me off. read more

The food was absolutely delicious. There's been a lot of hype about this spot on social media since it opened, and I'm glad we finally made it in. I'm usually not free before 2 p.m. on weekends, so the limited hours (8 a.m.-2 p.m. daily) make it a bit tricky to visit. The location is cute and quaint, with a very small parking lot. That said, there's plenty of free street parking and additional parking in the lot next to Forgotten Bagel. The staff were incredibly kind, polite, and helpful, which made the experience even better. Stuff to keep in mind: There is no public restroom. The food takes quite a while to come out. We visited on a Sunday and waited about forty-five minutes. Other patrons mentioned this is typical, so it's not the best option if you're in a rush. Seating is very limited. It's a good idea to have a backup plan like taking your food to a nearby park. That said, everyone was friendly and took turns sharing the space. While the food was delicious, the social media hype made the bagels seem larger than they actually are. They're still a good size, just not quite as big as advertised. Our order: The Ham & Cheese Empanada: smoked ham, smoked gouda, mozzarella, and sage in an empanada. We had to purchase a side of their pebre cilantro salsa, which was excellent, though interestingly not served directly with the empanada. Be sure to get this salsa! The salsa was a Chilean pebre, which is kind of like a mix between chimichurri and pico de gallo. It's made with fresh cilantro, onions, garlic, olive oil, vinegar, and chili peppers. It was super fresh, a little tangy, a little spicy, and honestly paired perfectly with the empanada. Egg & Cheese- we got this made on a everything bagel. It came with scrambled eggs, American cheese, and Forgotten aioli. We added a turkey sausage patty for extra protein. Egg & Cheese- we got this made on a jalapeño cheddar bagel. Scrambled eggs, American, Forgotten aioli Overall, it's great to see new restaurants opening in the area. The bagels are outstanding and clearly made with quality ingredients and care. Customer service was excellent. If someone is not standing at the kiosk you can order form their tablet. I would definitely come back, I just wanted to share a few of the potential obstacles so you know what to expect when visiting. read more

Finally drove down to this place and highly recommend coming. Cost is a little high but you'll understand why once you have your first bite. For starters the bagel it self is amazing.gives me NY bagel vibes. I got the BAE sandwich on an everything bagel and it was just a creamy heavenly bagel sandwich. Food was pretty good, definitely not worth the hour wait for what I ordered. The people at the register were really sweet, but expect a wait time of like an hour (We ordered at 10:15). Lots and lots of cream cheese, I could barely taste anything else on my bagel. All in all, not bad but not worth it. read more

I finally made it out to try this place out. We got the Dads Club (pictured below) and the ham and cheese empanada. The Club was really good, all the ingredients were fresh, and the sandwich was good size. The Empanada confused me a little bit. Im actually wondering if it was an empanada, but there was nothing else on the menu that it could have been. It didn't look like the empanadas they have shown. It was round and very small. The empanadas shown on their social media pages look like the shape of a calzone with the edges crimped to hold the ingredients inside. Mine was completely open on the top almost like a pie. Its was really good, but very small and not what I was expecting. My daughter got a regular bagel with cream cheese, and she really liked it. Overall I liked the place, but it is pretty expensive, and there was a long wait. Im glad I tried it, and if I was in the area again I would come back. read more

I placed an online order for a Sunday morning pickup. I thought it would be busy, because we chose the earliest time available but it was absolutely fine. There is a small parking lot behind the building structure. There is also plenty of street parking. I was greeted by the employee and told her I had an online order. She stepped away to collected my order from the building. It was actually super quick and easy. I saw that if you do place an order in-house there is a kiosk. It appeared that all descriptions and photos were available to help guide one through the menu. There is an outdoor patio for seating. They had barstools and tabletops. There was also a nice heater on so eating outside would definitely be more pleasant on a cold morning. Just keep in mind there isn't inside seating available. We ordered the bae bagel sandwich (2 sunny side up eggs, bacon, avocado, American cheese and aoili), the loxann (lox, cream cheese, capers, tomatoes, dill, pickled onions and cracked pepper), a spinach & cheese empanada and a guava cheese empanada. The sandwiches could be made toasted and the empanada could be warmed up too. Both sandwiches were delicious and surprisingly filling. They do NOT skimp on the cream cheese topping. I could probably have eaten half of the sandwich or share with someone, but I was extra hungry today. The empanadas both had a decent amount of filling and were delightful. The crust had a nice brown edge to them. It was my first visit and I am already contemplating my next visit so I can try out the pastrami reuben sandwich. read more

I've been seeing this place all over instagram so I had to check it out. When I arrived, I didn't realize it would be that busy before 10 AM. Parking is awful, their parking lot is real small so you will have to park in the neighborhood. The neighborhood has cars parked out already so if you have a big truck or car, you'll need to come earlier or park pretty far away. The line was long but went quickly. They have 2 iPads to order and it was easy. If you can order online ahead, I highly recommend it and make sure you got what you ordered. The most time I spent waiting was for the food and coffee. I ordered the BAE, loxann, guava cheese, Chilean classic, and the beef pino. I will come back and try more of their menu. Pros: loved the BAE and the empanadas. They were all seasoned well and huge portions. Cons: I didn't enjoy the loxann and I love lox bagels. The tomatoes and pickled onions were not my jam, they just didn't pair well. I wanted to try it as they had it on the menu so I could get a true experience. read more
Better than NYC bagels. Period. I'm not kidding. This might have been the best bagel I've ever had in my life. Having a fried egg in it instead of scrambled is the star of the show. We added pickled onion and scallion cream cheese to it too. Every single ingredient on the bagel was perfect and delicious. We also got their Chilean Classic Beef and Beef Pino empanada. They have the exact same filling just rolled differently so I wouldn't recommend getting them both together. You can get either one. Both were yummy but the bagel was the star of the show. It's a small shop that has no indoor seating, but their outdoor area is really cute. So if it's a nice day you absolutely can go, order, and sit outside. The only downside to this was the pricing. The bagel with the add ons of cream cheese and pickles onions was $18.25.... I thought that was pretty expensive for a bagel. But it was possibly the best bagel I've ever had, so I guess it's where do you draw the line, ya know? In total with the bagel and two empanadas it came out to $33.67 which again I think is pretty steep. I can complain about the price all day long but I absolutely will be going back and will happily pay $18 for one of the best bagels in the world. read more

I've been wanting to try this place for a while and was not disappointed. They have a small private parking lot cute little area for you to wait for your order. We ordered the Bae (with scallion cream cheese and a jalepeno cheese bagel), the Loxann, and a fried guava empanada. We did have to wait a little bit in a short line to order and then for probably 15-20 minutes while they made our bagels, but it was totally worth it. Sacramento is in dire need of good bagel spots and we were vey impressed! Everything was fresh and flavorful and so good. The fried guava empanada was ridiculously delicious. 10/10 would go there again! read more

I ordered online and got my sandwich on time. I've been looking for a place with pretty good bagels (not as good as NY tho) and I do love bagel sandwiches. I ordered the bae. The service and the bagel texture weren't bad and I liked everything in my sandwich but for some reason the aioli seemed a bit off. I'm wondering if I should try a diff sandwich or bagel and then decide. I'd try this spot again. read more

I traveled across town to try Forgotten Bakery for lunch to see what the hype was all about! It's definitely a cool spot for unique bagel sandwiches to pick up and go. It's not a sit down place. You order from the patio area which has a few round tables to eat or wait for your order. They do not take cash. We ordered the Loxann bagel, which tasted great, though it had a bit too much cream cheese and not quite enough lox ingredients and not sure it was worth $16. We also tried the pastrami Reuben, which was solid and flavorful also priced at $16. It was good. We got there around 12:40 PM and ended up waiting about 30 minutes for our sandwiches. If you're planning a visit, I'd recommend ordering ahead to cut down on the wait. Overall, worth the trip for tasty bagel experience, but best to plan ahead for a quicker experience! read more
A few months back, I was on a personal quest for a delicious Lox Bagel and sadly, I wasn't having much success other than Posh Bagel out in Davis but that's a bit of a drive. In my opinion, Sacramento isn't really known for good bagel spots but then enters Forgotten Bakery right in my neck of the woods. Their Lox Bagel (The Loxann) hits all the notes for me. Their bagels are freshly made, have crunchy crust yet a chewy and fluffy interior. The combination of the salty smoked salmon, cream cheese, pickled onions, capers, sliced tomato and dill all work together so well. The search for a local Lox Bagel spot is officially over for me. I'm also a big fan of their Forgotten Bagel which is a little less complex with bacon, scallion cream cheese and pickled jalapeños but just as good. Their empanadas are great as well, my personal favorite is the Guava Cream Cheese which is fried to order and goes well with their coffees. If you go on the weekend, they can attract quite a line. A pro tip is to order online before you head over however, it can be a bit of a catch 22 situation since they sometimes turn off their online ordering when they're really busy. So, if the online ordering is done, you're probably in for a bit of a wait. But trust me, it's always worth it. read more

Super cute spot kind of in the middle of nowhere. Nice little garden setting with benches around. The girl taking orders was super nice. Food was fresh and delicious. We went right when they opened and no wait but about 9:15 they started getting a flow of people. Bagel sandwiches were satisfying! Good amount of food. Bacon was thick and savory. Mocha was good- little sweet. Black coffee was strong! My daughter loved the cheese empanada. She hasn't had anything like it and kept saying "yummy". Their outdoor seating was really nice. Parking is tight, but there is t much around so you aren't competing with parking from other businesses. read more

Honestly the food was mid and lacked flavor. The size of the ham and cheese empanada was super small and disappointing. The place was cute though and the service was nice! I don't think i'll return but it's worth a try if you are into food that lacks salt. read more
I was driving down Stockton Boulevard and saw this out of the corner of my eye so I had to stop by and check it out. The parking lot is small, but there is street parking as well. There is no indoor seating but they do have tables and benches outside. I ordered a guava empanada, tropical hibiscus tea and a hot coffee. I took the empanada out of the bag 30 minutes after I ordered it and it was still warm! When I broke it open you could still see steam coming out. The bread part of the empanada tasted exactly like a funnel cake. They even coat it with powdered sugar. The tropical hibiscus tea has no sugar, but it wasn't bitter and I was happy about that. I will definitely be coming back to get more empanadas and try their bagels. They looked so good! read more

Summary: disappointing everything bagel that had 95% white and black sesame seeds and 5% poppy seeds (check the picture); however, it's a nice little bakery with hip outdoor seating, good service, and an interesting menu. I love supporting local businesses but I don't know if I'll be back given the hard miss on a staple menu item. Skip below if you want to see individual scores for certain aspects! It's been tough to find a solid bagel spot in Sacramento. If you've seen my other reviews, I tend to start with the "basic" order for most restaurants that are new to me, and in this case a bagel with cream cheese was sufficient for testing. I ordered an everything bagel, toasted, with cream cheese. $5 + tax and I pre-paid online. Seems like an average price for a decent bagel nowadays. For context, I make my own batch of bagels twice a month, and after a bit of experimentation I adapted a now-controversial YouTuber's New York Style Bagels recipe posted 7 years ago to suit my taste and keep things relatively simple. I'm not going to start a cottage business selling bagels, and I won't proclaim them the best bagels ever, but I've been asked by friends and neighbors to make them many times. Here's the whole review: Flavor 1/5 - I usually don't start with the lowest score but I'll get right to it for the flavor. In my experience, everything bagels have garlic flakes, onion flakes, white & black sesame seeds, poppy seeds, and flaky sea salt. This bagel had 95% white and black sesame seeds and 5% poppy seeds. There was no room for any other taste besides sesame. I didn't see or taste any garlic or onion flakes/flavoring mixed into the dough either. It's not worth it to drive back over $5, and I'm not one to usually make a stink and ask for a replacement, but if I was eating there I would at least ask if there was something wrong with my order. And I can say pretty confidently it wasn't an order mix up because there were both sesame and poppy seeds on the bagel. - Texture 3/5 - The everything bagel was reasonably firm on the outside. It was fresh even though I ordered around noon. Small blisters were hugging the toasted exterior - I would guess they use a bit of baking soda when boiling to achieve this. I chose the regular toast level and approximately 10% of the ingredients were overly toasted, which is just the right amount of char to add another level of flavor to the bagel. We've all been wronged by a burnt everything bagel in the past, so I wouldn't recommend the double toast option unless you want a lump of charcoal and are a masochist. The bagel was soft enough inside. I think if they used a proper spice blend with garlic and onion flakes, and a sprinkle of flaky sea salt, I could change this to a 4 or better as the blend does influence the texture. - Service 5/5 - Easy to order online pickup. Scheduled for 15 minutes and I arrived after 10 minutes, so I picked up my order immediately upon arrival and headed home. The woman at the cash register was pleasant and welcoming. I'll also note the out of stock/availability for online ordering seemed to be accurate which is appreciated. - Overall, I'd say if they fix their spice blend, the everything bagel is a solid value for $5 + tax. If it was a dollar cheaper with proper ingredients then I'd be visiting 2-3 times a month without question. The service was great; and the food came out great! I got the BAE it was freshly made which I appreciate! I added on hotsauce to give it a kick and it was a great choice for those who like a little bit of tart and spice. They have a very small seating area, but my friend and I got lucky and snatched a seat. They have an outdoor heater so it felt cozy despite the weather being cold in temperature. Next time, I would love to try their Chilean empanada with their sauces. read more

And SO customizable Guava cream cheese empanada (2/5) - skippable flavor, dough was thin and fresh, they fried it to order. I think maybe a different filling would rate higher Chocolate chip walnut cookie (4/5) - they used BITTERsweet chocolate, I believe, not dark chocolate? So do what you will with that. Finally got to actually check this place out! Usually get their bagels and empanadas from Mast coffee. The setup is very cute but very small with only outdoor seating, but had great vibes. The lady who took my order was also very sweet! read more

After a lot of social media videos, finally made it to try this place out. We went closer to 11 am and a handful of items were already sold out but unfortunately the online ordering system doesnt tell you what. Either way, we were able to order on the kiosks and find a table. Staff was nice to let us know there was a 20 minute wait due to staffing issues. The bae sandwich was a good way to start the day. The bacon was good, and the avocado was just ripe. I really enjoyed my coffee and gave me a good boost for my day. read more
Forgotten Bakery is one of those great neighborhood spots that people always rave about once they've visited. My husband and I placed our order online on Sunday morning before heading over. We were so thankful of the online option because it saved us so much time having to wait in line (it was super busy!) and we planned to bring our sandwiches home to enjoy anyway. We checked in with an employee, who told us that they were wrapping up the second sandwich in our order. The time difference from our pick up time to when our order was ready was about 15 minutes, but we understood since there were so many customers. The location offers only outdoor seating with a handful of tables, with plenty of umbrellas for shade. Every table was occupied with a long line of people waiting to order as well, and some standing around waiting for their food. It's always so encouraging to see a local spot thrive like this!
