Breakfast taco with eggs, bacon and potatoes on a freshly made corn tortilla
    Kristen P.

Zoe is in a nice location where street parking can be easily found. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a small coffee shop with not much indoor seating but they have plenty of tables outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their food is great. I had a breakfast taco that was super flavorful and came out really warm and fresh. They have several options for salsa to choose from. The americano was fresh and smooth. The only setback is that it was incredibly slow. They had 4-5 employees but seemed like only one was making drinks. They were apologetic and friendly but the wait was a little disappointing. Maybe it was just today. I'd be willing to try it again because those fresh made corn tortillas were amazing!

Sacramento continues to surprise again at its quality coffee shops serving great tapas and service. I stumbled upon this place as I was visiting one of the offices nearby. The chef and the staff made it worth coming to, as they seemed to know their customers on a name basis and it gave just the sweetest neighborhood vibe. I had the lemon poppy loaf and the carrot cake latte. I LOVED the cream cheese soft top, and the drink wasn't unbearably sweet either. The loaf made me want to buy more baked goods, but unfortunately ....I have to watch my girly figure ;).

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Zoe Coffee & Tacos is a hidden gem. It's a cute coffee shop in midtown, but easy to miss.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Although I can't speak about their food because I didn't order any during my first visit, I enjoyed the friendly and quick service that I received. I ordered a Dirty Chai Latte with Oat milk. It was really good compared to other Dirty Chai Lattes I've had around Sac. I'm definitely coming back to order again (or try other drinks). [[HIGHLIGHT]]This might be the smallest coffee shop in Sac that I'm aware of, and they make great use of the space. There's plenty of seating for about 10 people comfortably.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They also have a large mirror to grab a quick fit check. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was very chill, welcoming and has that midtown vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

One of our favorite coffee shops. Awesome mochas with tasty tacos and papusas to boot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Super chill vibe and cozy seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We've enjoyed all of our many visits here.

    Salsas and drinks to buy!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Zoe Coffee & Tacos is such a fun and unique spot in Sacramento![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I love the Mexican spin they put on their drinks and menu items--it makes everything feel creative and different from your typical coffee shop. My go-to order is the jalapeño cheddar pupusa paired with a Mexican mocha with oat milk. The pupusa is warm, cheesy, and perfectly balanced with a little kick, and the Mexican mocha is rich, smooth, and just the right amount of sweet. We also tried something new - the pineapple agua Fresca and it did not disappoint! Subtle sweetness and pop pineapple flavor so refreshing! They're always adding new menu items too, which keeps things exciting. I recently saw their birthday cake batter latte on the menu and love that they're constantly coming up with fun, unique drinks. If you're looking for great coffee with a creative twist and some seriously tasty food, Zoe Coffee & Tacos is definitely worth a visit!

    Carnitas quesadilla

My first time - and I'm going to come back to try every single item!! Had veggie tacos w potatoes, zucchini, corn, n spinach- added guacamole n crema and their homemade guac salsa... The best ever! My girliefriend had a carnitas quesadilla that looked exceptional! I had a double cantaloupe agua fresca - which I'm afraid might become a daily habit. It was sooooo good!!! Was never been able to find the perfect agua fresca until NOW!

Knocked off one star because one coffee was not hot enough but still delicious. Enjoyed the hot buttered rum syrup in a cappuccino and I loved my cortado. Had 3 pupusas (they were out of the vegan). They all had good flavor. Good balance of masa to filling. The salsas were as described - except if you like it spicy they are all lower on the heat/spice level. Even the habanero. Flavor was good on all of them. Next time I am trying the tacos and cereal milk syrup just to be extra. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Small inside area - little bar seating and a few small tables next to the windows. Outside there are about 6 picnic tables adjacent to the sidewalk. Dog friendly[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I also noticed a box of sidewalk chalk and children books to keep the little entertained.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff was SUPER nice and answered questions about menu. This one is a keeper! See ya next time.

Iced Vanilla Oatmilk Chai and Cappuccino
    Ashley C.

Haven't been back here since they first opened and honestly don't know why! Love their pupusas and breakfast tacos, but especially the house salsa and the coleslaw that comes with the pupusa. They do have some inside seating if you're lucky enough to get one! But I can't wait for the summer to enjoy their outdoor picnic tables. Service is great - Ashley was awesome and so welcoming. Nice to see they do seasonal offerings now too, will definitely get me back in there sooner rather than later! The wintermint mocha was delicious - maybe not the best flavor pairing with the salsa flavor profile but it was a great way to finish off my meal. The hot buttered rum syrup in the cappuccino was a hit with my husband who is very particular with his coffee drinks! I was not into the rum flavor but it was definitely an accurate taste if you're into that! Can't wait to come back again!

Stopped in on this chilly morning for a breakfsat taco and some coffeess -- delish!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]A popular place but we found a spot at the counter...[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] service is always friendly and fast... food is the best!!!

Zoe Coffee and Tacos is another gem in the Sacramento coffee scene. They're not just a coffee shop though, they also serve amazing breakfast tacos and pupusas. Breakfast tacos were a much needed option, and they do them so well. Street parking is the option here, and I typically park across the street in the one hour parking. I've never had any trouble getting a spot, but you may have to walk a little further. On my latest visit I was greeted with their amazing winter window painting and their staff warmly welcomed us as we entered. They have a great selection of drinks and I opted for their cereal milk latte. We grabbed a seat at the benches along the wall and our drinks came out shortly after. The cereal milk latte was delicious. Not too sweet with a hint of fruity pebbles/froot loops flavor. I left with the subtle taste still on my tongue and the memory of it stayed with me all day. I think I need to visit a couple more times before the seasonal special is gone, because it was so good! The coffee shop is on the smaller side but they have seating for small groups (2-4 people per group) They also have some seating outside, but with the chilly Sacramento days we've been having most people were enjoying the indoors. I'm already planning my next visit!

Hot cereal milk latte hit the spot in the cold!
    Anissa R.

Zoe's is your one stop, coffee and tacos shop! The husband and I decided to walk over to Zoe's one cold morning in hopes they still had some food left and in desperate need of coffee. Twenty minutes later and nearly frozen (we had to get those steps in), we made it to Zoe's and opted for the cheese/jalapeño papusas and tamales (they were out of chicken). The husband order an iced (he's insane) Spiced Latte and I went with the hot Cereal Milk Latte, both with almond milk. YUM! The coffee was so good and literally tasted like fruity pebbles cereal milk. The husband also loved his spiced iced latte. The comida? As you know, I'm pretty picky with my Mexican/Latino food but really enjoyed both the papusas and tamales. We opted for the spicy salsa which was very flavorful (not that spicy for me but if you're sensitive, might be spicy for you). Everything was great. Literally obsessed and we're excited to come back soon! Highly recommend!

    Spiced Latte with Breakfast Tacos
    Sanghoo P.

Came in on 12/13/25 with my beautiful wife and adorable toddler and we ordered a hot spiced latte with two breakfast tacos. The service was fast with one staff member taking the order and making the spiced latte with latte art. ZOE had a casual ambiance, calmly inviting patrons to sit and enjoy their goodies before heading out again. The spiced latte was a wonder. That first sip lingers in the taste buds, slowly enticing them to urge the brain drink more of the coffee. It was satisfying and at perfect temperature. We had the bacon and egg taco with mild salsa and it was delicious! Just little nab of salsa before the bite or drench it in salsa, it didn't matter. The taco was good and filling. Even when my hunger was satiated, I wanted to stuff my mouth with more and more of the tacos. It was that amazing. We will definitely be returning to ZOE Coffee & Tacos.

3.50- Zoe Coffee & Tacos-- driven past this place enough times I finally had to come try it! Stopped in with my yellow Labrador on a Friday morning! I got the bacon breakfast taco along with a hot chai! This coffee shop is very small inside. They do have limited seating but it almost feels cramped. They also have outdoor seating! The staff were very kind and nice! I have to say it.. this breakfast taco wasn't it. I realized it probably wasn't super fresh because it was pre made and already wrapped when I got it. It came with a salsa that was good. But overall the taco was soggy and just not great! The hot chai was good! I will say I like that this coffee shop is open early! They also offer pastries and other drinks! The actual coffee menu is very short! I was disappointed by the seasonal offerings!

Oh yes Joshua. They have dog treats indoors. Like any food service you have to sit outside unless your dog is a service animal but they have several picnic benches outside and water bowls.

At this point it feels like bait and switch -- why put it on the menu if you never have it? The low rating is mainly for the young lady at the register. She was rude, spent the whole time whispering to a guy who works there and laughing while looking at me. Felt disrespected as a customer. Found Beto's down the street instead. Decent food, decent prices, and they actually serve what's on their menu. Won't be back. 2. Short + Punchy No tripas, lengua, or cabeza. Ever. 4 visits in 7 days. Zero times did they have tripas, lengua, or cabeza. Starting to think the menu is false advertising. Register girl was rude too -- whispering + laughing at me with her coworker/BF the whole time. Beto's down the street has better food, better prices, and no attitude. Go there instead. 3. Balanced but Firm Frustrating experience Food here can be okay when they have it, but the inconsistency is a problem. I came 4 times in one week hoping for tripas, lengua, or cabeza and was told they were out every single time. If you don't carry menu items regularly, take them off the menu. Service also needs work. The teen at the register was whispering to another employee and laughing while taking my order. Made me uncomfortable. Beto's down the street doesn't have these issues -- they stock what they advertise and the service is solid.
