I looked up the menu before going so I knew what to order and what to expect. Their prices are for good quality, fresh food. I met a friend for his birthday dinner. Our server Elijah was amazing! Funny, efficient and knowledgeable. We started with the brussel sprouts and they were delish. We ordered 2 burgers and split them and chose our own sides: Pork belly burger and cotija corn. Fromage burger and smashed herb fingerlings. Both burgers were good and I loved my taters! We ended with the warmed apple fig cranberry cobbler. Super tart but tasty. The dining area is a little on the small side but overall it was a nice experience! read more

What an amazing and fun spot! I've been visiting this restaurant on business trips for 4 years and it just never disappoints. The food is always prepared perfectly, great staff and an overall awesome vibe. Wide variety of great wines and beer. Did I mention how great the servers and chef are??? I love Fork and Fig and it's a regular choice- great quality food, interesting menu that rotates every so often, service is excellent even if they are slammed. The last time we were there they were so busy the kitchen staff was running food too- truly a Team effort and they really care! The only downside is the acoustics inside are bad- (loud) but that is easily solved by sitting on their lovely patio, which is now heated! read more

Considering the rave reviews, I was underwhelmed. Granted, I live in Baron Rouge and so I don't know much about the ABQ cuisine scene. But the gourmet burger (green chile) and salmon sandwich lacked pizzazz. The ingredients were fresh and the sides were all good (corn, fingerlings and sprouts), but I didn't think it lived up to the hype. Service was poor. Did enjoy the outside seating and getting beer from the brewery next door. read more

The green chile burger I had was FANTASTIC! I've actually never eaten a burger with a fried egg on it before and I was not disappointed. The smashed potatoes were buttery and delicious. The patio is lovely- I just wish we could've ordered beers from next door! The service was speedy and sweet. I'll be back for more Brussels sprouts soon! read more

Server was pleasant and informative. Nice interior. I got a salmon wrap with a side of gazpacho. The salmon wrap was pretty good. Moderately priced. I'd go back for it. The gazpacho is the reason I'm writing this review. It was astonishingly bad. Overwhelmingly acrid, horrifically acidic. Unnaturally so. The flavor, almost certainly had to be a mistake. If you can imagine how bleach smells, you can approximate the taste. I had to take a few more bites than I would have liked just to prove to myself what I was tasting. I was almost in awe. A day ruin-er. That said: definitely try this place out. The salmon wrap was good, especially for the area. Steer clear of the gazpacho and god help them for tricking people (me) into eating it read more

Excellent food! Was a surprise as I was at a conference across the street for the wkend, had no rental car but did not want to go to the big chain restaurants nearby. Wow!! Great service and great food. Our server knew we were splitting a wrap and a salad and had it served to us that way. Food tasted amazing! We had the chicken ban mi wrap and the chopped salad. We also had the potatoes and got a sample of the Brussel sprouts. Definitely getting the Brussel sprouts if we are ever in town again. Strongly recommend. We sat outside bc they have misting machines... so smart. Strongly recommend! We loved it!! read more

my partner has a cauliflower allergy, so of course we didn't order anything with it and informed the server to avoid cross contamination. we were sitting right next to the open kitchen, when our server informed the cook of the allergy, he said "that's not a thing" and now my wife is having an allergic reaction. HORRIBLE experience, which is unfortunate because the food and server were great. we will never be back. read more

I expected to be blown away based on the other reviews, but I was ultimately underwhelmed. Granted, I didn't have a burger, but one of their sandwiches... though I did try a bite of my husband's burger. Yes, they have "fancier" burgers with good toppings and ingredients, but, for me, it's just a little too much. I'd rather have a simple, quality burger and fries. To each their own! read more

Fork & Fig has only just enough room inside to put your forks into your figs, or whatever else you ordered. The small cluster of businesses shares common open-space, however, and we saw what looked to be a fine patio that we imagine would be excellent during all warmer weather. Plus, we saw servers with piled plates dart out the doors and across the patio so we assume one can actually sit in other establishments on the common and order from this kitchen. We had a table inside, however, and were able to watch our meal be created in the open kitchen. My burger was a thing of beauty, juicy, meaty, and all things one desires deeply when she orders a burger. Raz's salad had fabulous flavors which all came together to make a remarkably tasty dish. The only thing I could wish for in the visit was just a tad more of that excellent cheese on the salad, because it was wonderful! read more

We stopped to eat here on our trip home. We love to eat at local restaurants. This one was great. Service and food were excellent. We ate on the patio and they brought us water for our puppy. Great experience and great place. We would definitely eat here again. read more

This place was very cute! My friend and I went for dinner and it was so delicious we couldn't stop talking about it! I had the salmon sandwich with sauteed squash and she had the salmon wrap. We were both impressed because we had never had salmon in sandwich form! When we first walked in we were asked where we'd like to sit: inside, outside, or at broken trail. We sat at broken trail because it was bigger and it was hot outside. They had corn hole and board games. It was just a cool looking place to hang out. The service was so nice too! Everyone was friendly and our server didn't mind getting us tons of water Overall it was a very cute place! I will definitely go again! read more

Excellent service! My chicken Sammy was good, chicken was excellent but a little too much bread for me- taste was great. My husbands burger was good, he doesn't like a meat sandwich so he had to eat it with a fork. To me that is a good sandwich! The smashed fingerling potatoes were good also! Decent choice of wine, no tap beers but you can go next door if you want that! read more

I stopped here after a recommendation from the desk clerk at my hotel. The restaurant has a pretty small dining area so my group ate outside. The outside area was nice. I had the chicken wrap and fingerlings. It was very good. The relish gave the wrap a unique but delicious flavor. The price was very reasonable for the portion. I would go back again. read more

Everything I've had here included some sort of taint to the flavor due to problems with their butters or oils. From truffle oil that was too strong to peanut oil that was overcooked. This is a sensitivity for certain palettes, and not something that everyone will experience. Many people will like the food a lot, but it's just not for me. I've tried them twice and had the same problem each time. I'll probably swing by one last time and ask them to use plain butter because the ingredients looked to be high quality. read more

Wow! So Wow! First time here. Greeted quickly by friendly staff. The menu is small, which I favor. That oftentimes means the chef focuses on quality and they do here! Even though this menu is smaller (about 8 sandwiches, 4-5 burgers, 4-5 salads) each entree is complex. You need to really think about the combinations of flavors the chef is achieving through these creations. I opted for the cubano and side of sautéed brussel sprouts (I'm a personal connoisseur of each of these items!) and I was not disappointed-in fact- those Brussels sprouts were the BEST sautéed I've had EVER! The cubano was delicate, meaty and full of the mustard and pickle taste that make this sandwich so great. We had a hibiscus tea, unsweetened, flavorful and full of crushed ice. Make it a point to get here, I'll be back again -even if it is only for those sprouts! read more

Yep! This is a good place for lunch. Although it's not super big, it can accommodate smaller groups and overflow can find a covered patio outdoors. Right across the street from the Sheraton Uptown and next door to the Broken Trail Brew pub, the Fork and Fig really does bring a great little twist to your dining opps in NE ABQ. They work with the Trail Brew next door to make walking back and forth and patronizing both easy and pleasant. The Fork's menu recently changed to add some new fun and bring back some "oldies but goodies". Everything I've had here in my multiple stops has been well worth ordering! Although you "Wait to be Seated" at the front, come after 2pm and before 4:30 for a quiet lunch with no wait. My latest server, Torie, was helpful and professional making the decision to come again all too easy. read more

Simple and delicious. The space is small and intimate, tucked away in a little compound with two other businesses, a brewery and a cheesesteak place. Both times I visited we were given the option to dine across the way at the brewery (big plus if you want to enjoy a beer with your meal. We declined but I love that they work cooperatively with another business. The service is friendly and prompt. We never waited too long for anything and all of our questions about the menu were answered. The food is DELICIOUS! Fresh, unique flavors and combinations and overall you are left feeling satisfied and not too full or terrible. Brussel sprouts- I dream about them. I would literally just stop in and eat these on a random craving. Steak and chicken sandwiches- delicious, crisp bread with perfectly seasoned fillings. Paired with the red roasted potatoes and it's a dreamy combo. Gyro- my partner loved this They serve a tasty iced tea that I recommend trying. Overall, I'm impressed that a place like this is here in Albuquerque. They are certainly doing a great job of expanding the culinary scene here. read more

There are no fountain drinks only cans/bottles. All that said, like I said, the meats were delicious. The potato salad with dill was delicious. I remember when the young lady that used to work there was at the counter. 6-8 people in line, greeted with a smile and Hi! Welcome in! There was a longer wait, but it was ok, because the service was good, and so was the food. Today? I'll never return. I spent over $15.00 including a credit card surcharge (a business owner that wants to take credit cards but can't be bothered to be a business owner and pay their bills.) I left a $5 cash tip - I figured I'd the business owner can't pay the 3% on a bad merchant account, they most likely aren't paying the staff livable wages... I sat down and put my gear down, and waited... for about 15 minutes, before this garbage salad that was falsely advertised as having toppings and 3 sliced chick'n strips. The entire salad didn't fill the bowl.? On the bottom were less than a teaspoon of diced tomatoes. In the entire salad there was ONE "fried onion." The lettuce was chopped like slop, there was barely enough chick'n to call it 1.5 slices. Absolute trash. Most recently, I went with some coworkers for lunch and ordered the Bella Mozzarella sandwich. Beautiful, thick slices of fresh mozzarella, loaded with tomatoes and basil. The bread was super fresh, and the potato salad was very flavorful. My coworker got an eclair on our way out. I just had a bite and it was divine. The older gentleman behind the counter was courteous and friendly. The atmosphere is laid-back, and the side wall is covered in shelves that contain imported pasta and various other products from Italy. There's a freezer case filled with premade meals and meat. If you haven't been there, it's definitely worth a stop

Both adults also got the pork belly flatbread. I found it a bit unbalanced with too much sauce and not enough other toppings, and the base wasn't as crispy as I prefer. Speaking of crispy, we opted for the appetizer brussel sprouts, and they were a bit chewy and on the not so super crispy side. Service was fine, and glad to have a little break from heavier New Mexican cuisine on this night. Lots of variety on the cocktail and adult beverage menu too.
