This has been our staple go to for Chinese food since we moved to Fremont 2.5 years ago. What I love about this restaurant is that the food isn't overly greasy, it leaves me feeling full without the groggy after effects of heaviness like some Chinese restaurants do. I should have known the place was going to be gross since we get a million fliers at our door. We gave this a try and we wont ever order from here again. My husband actually enjoyed the food, until he was ill the next day. Why was everything so brown? Why was the RICE spicey? That is so weird!! We ordered chicken fried rice, the chicken in it was wierd. Like strips of chicken, but it was all grisley. Really gross. And, like i said, the rice was brown and spicey. Also ordered the lemon chicken and the orange chicken. Great food, only takes a few minutes for pick-up orders (15 minutes if they're busy). Potstickers are big and delicious (probably the best potstickers I have ever had), their rice plates are a good size and taste great. We have tried their sesame chicken and Mongolian beef, both were great. You can choose how spicy you want the plate, so don't avoid something because it looks too spicy/not spicy enough. read more

Ordered delivery on EAT24 app and was very happy. Huge selection of Chinese food that is all $6-10 per entree. Delivery was $2.99 and my food arrived hot and fresh in 40 mins (awesome, as delivery typically takes about an hour for generic places). The war wonton soup (with everything) was great. Tons of quailty shrimp wontons and lots of veggies, chicken and pork. Big fan. House egg foo young (chinese omelette) was very large and tasty, but a slightly bit salty. Still very good. The guy who delivered to me didn't even know I had paid on PayPal which was annoying. When I told him to have a good night and tried to close my door he held the door open and said "pay? Cash right?" I ordered foil wrapped chicken, chicken with snowpeas and sizzling rice soup. The soup was decent but since I've had a lot better I wouldn't come back here for that. Fool wrapped chicken is generally greasy but this seemed especially greasy and the chicken was soggy inside the foil. Not what I'm used to and not what I was expecting. Chicken with snow peas was the worst part. Although everything was fresh it was bathed in sauce. The sauce was too salty. I knew that this place was only going to serve Americanish Chinese food because it is situated across from Washington High, but I was hungry and in an experimental mood. I ordered the almond chicken lunch special to go. My plate had almond chicken on top of fried rice. When I got home and opened the container, I was suprised to see that the fried rice looked like it had a bunch of soy sauce in it, for it was really dark and ugly. It would not be so bad if it was just the appearance of the food. The almond chicken tasted kind of ugly too. Not super bad but not good either. Let me preface this review with the following statement - I never got to try their food. We received a flyer on our door and since our local favorite Chinese food place recently closed down I thought I would give them a try. Their flyer had a web address so I checked them out on the web as well as their reviews. I was intrigued that they had online ordering so I placed an order at 6:30 ish pm for our food delivery. I received a confirmation that my order had been placed and the waiting began. The site said to allow 45 mins cooking time and I figured up to another 45 mins for the delivery even though we are only 1.5 miles away. So I expected up to 1.5 hrs max. At the 2 hour mark I started to wonder if and when our food was ever coming so I placed a call to double check. The lady who answered the phone asked for my address then said - "No order for that address, you want me to cook you something now?" "Ummmmm - NO! It's 8:30 pm - you close at 9 pm I don't want rushed and possibly undercooked food". The lady never said sorry or anything else she just hung up. I really wanted to like this place, as I always want a good Chinese delivery place for those nights I just don't want to cook and pizza just won't do. I saw the crappy reviews for this place, but I always want to experience things myself. This was one I should have just listened to the reviews, and passed. When I called to place my order, I actually had to ask them to take my phone number. So many delivery places have a hard time finding our place, and I wanted to make sure we got our food! They were in such a hurry to get off the phone. The food was awful. I ordered lemon chicken, and my husband the sweet and sour. First of all, they had the sauce on the chicken already, so it was no longer crispy, just super soggy. Most (good) delivery places will put the sauce separate on the side so to prevent that. Second, my lemon chicken had no lemon flavor... I can't even describe the the taste, but it wasn't good. Also, it had slices of orange instead of lemon. Now... onto the sweet and sour chicken, talk about a let down. We could hardly get past the bright blood red color of the sauce!! I've never seen a red sauce like this before, it saturated everything it touched, and was so off putting, it literally looked like blood soaked chicken. I tasted it anyway.... and there was no flavor. None. We couldn't even finish eating this super soggy, bloody looking mess and just threw it out. Maybe some of their other dishes are better, but in my opinion, if you can't get a simple common dish like sweet and sour chicken correct, then it's not worth trying again. read more

My favorite quick Chinese food! I love the plate they offer fried rice with orange chicken is my always Togo dinner. Sometimes I get chowmein instead. The price is super cheap for the generous amount of food given. I am really picky when it comes to orange chicken but they re perfect at this dish. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I did not get my plates or extra soy sauce I requested on the phone. I asked the delivery guy and he repeated several times, "no english" I tried doing charades with him with the packet of soy sauce I had and he just started going off in his language. I called the restaurant so they can translate and a female called his cell and he handed me his cell and she screamed at me saying what do I expect him to do if he doesn't have any, she wanted me to sign the receipt so he can be on his way but I refused till I got everything I ordered. She then continued to scream at me and called me a stupid mother f**cker and told me just sign the receipt. I was done listening to her be rude and disrespectful so I past the cell back to the driver. I was about to just give him the food back but since I wasn't feeling well I didn't feel like going out for food so I kept it and signed the receipt and told him, no tip and shut the door! The food wasn't even all that great. Egg rolls tasted like they been sitting for awhile and sweet n sour pork was super sweet. I'm very disappointed with this place and more with the customer service. I'm all for different ethnicities working in this country but if your going to work in customer service at least learn some basic English to be able to communicate with your customers. I have to say this is a great Chinese food place to get fast food. Been here twice already and forgot to review it the first time. I Ordered right when I walked in and was cooked and ready in under 5 minutes. Hot and Fresh!! I ordered the all day plate special which is $6.25 but I wanted chow mein which was not on the menu so I requested it as the part of my lunch and she said that's fine and charged me $8 instead of $6.25....I ordered chow mein and string bean chicken. They give you a huge tremendous amount of food which was very filling. The lady at the front cashier was very nice and friendly and had a smile on my face. You know can tell these people made food with love. I will definitely come back again when I'm in the area and I would def choose this place over eastern wind because the food is so much better and prompt and nice polite employees!! read more

Lines will always be long on weekdays at lunch because of students coming in from WHS since they have off campus lunch. It's hard to explain, the food was tasty but compared to other Chinese delivery in the area they just don't stand up.
