We enjoyed lunch on their patio. We had their noodles, crispy rolls, and dumplings. They had a pretty simple small menu but everything was great.

I was not expecting to love the food as much as I did--pleasantly surprised + my toddler loved it too! What I loved most about everything we ordered was how light (not greasy at all), yet flavorful the dishes were. They definitely use quality ingredients. Plus, I appreciate how simple and focused the menu is. The only reason it's not 5 stars for me is the portions...I think they were slightly on the smaller side... What we ordered: - Authentic Chinese Dumpling: we chose pan-fried per the server's recommendation but they also have steamed. Meat-wise, we went with pork. These were so juicy and just flavorful enough to get our appetite going. They came with 6 plump dumplings. Highly recommend. - Shanghainese Noodle Soup with vegetables: my toddler scarfed this down. The broth was light and refreshing, while the noodles were super thin and chewy. Also had a nice amount of veggies. Loved this. - Jasmine Fried Rice with shrimp: if I didn't have to share this with 3 other people, I would have eaten this myself...SO delicious with plump, nicely cooked shrimp. I love shrimp fried rice in general and liked how light this was, yet it maintained the right amount of flavor for my liking. - Shanghainese Street Noodles with beef: my toddler also loved this one. Loved how thin the noodles were with just the right amount of flavor. I don't know how they don't make this greasy, it's pretty amazing. Ambiance was cozy and service was on point. They also have high chairs for your LO! Only thing is on a sunny day (like when we went), there aren't a lot of shaded tables.

Great Chinese comfort food during cold weather. Waitress was kind and welcoming. Restaurant had a home-y feeling to it. We ordered 1) steamed pork dumplings (2x) and it had the vinegar house sauce. Super good that we ordered it twice. 2) beef fried rice - delicious! 3) chicken street noodles - delicious!

Browsing through the Yelp Best Chinese Restaurant List, found I have never dined at Fortune Wok to Table in Cherry Creek North. Asked around and heard their Shanghai style handmade dumplings and noodles were quite good, so went there and ordered their wonton soup, pan fried pork dumpling and vegetable fried rice. The texture of the wonton and dumplings were pretty good, everything was very tasty. As I was complaining about parking in Cherry Creek North, heard they just opened a second location called Fortune Nong Jia Le in Washington Park (500 E Alameda Ave Denver). For the sake of parking, will certainly go there next time.

Been waiting to try this spot for a while and walked in for lunch. I got the noodles with shrimp and the pork fried dumplings- both were delicious and so flavorful!!!will be back

I happened to stumble into Fortune on a recent trip to Denver, and wow, this place is a hidden gem! Very simple menu...dumplings, noodles, fried rice, soup, and a few entrees. My server recommended the pork dumplings and shrimp fried rice. Who was I to argue? Food came out fast, fresh, and hot. Coupled with a glass of IPA I was in heaven! The dining room is cozy and simple. As such, large groups may find it very hard to sit together. The service is super friendly and passionate about the food. Great food, reasonable price, and delightful service. A must visit in Cherry Creek!

yum, Yum, YUM!!!! decided to try this place while my mother was in town..... and WOWZA!! They are "known for their dumplings" - but everything we tasted was G- double O- D!!! We tried both the pork and the beef dumplings (side note, surprisingly the beef were better), then we switched to the duck street noodles and vegetable fried rice- both had great flavor!! But the real surprise of the evening was the beef with peppers! It was melt in your mouth tender and so light! not heavy like a lot of asian beef!! When i tasted it, i immediately told the table to "SHUT UP!!" and the cutie that she is, my mom came at the plate, chopsticks poised to attack and said, "REALLY??!!??" the look on her face proved it. YES, REALLY!!! haha over all this meal was highly enjoyable and super yummy!! we will certainly be back again!!

Loooove this cute little place! The gentleman at the front was so sweet and friendly. My friends and stumbled across this place after the cherry creek night market looking for some delicious food and we were so happy we found it! Dumplings and green tea are AMAZING! The vibe is so cozy and all the staff were so kind. Can't wait to come back.

I ordered a few dishes to go here. The Shanghainese Street Noodles here are pretty dang delicious! I've been looking for noodles like this for a while, and I think I finally found my jam here. While the green beans were seasoned well, I prefer them a little less cooked through. The fried rice was ok, but I doctored it up a little at home. Nothing a little soy sauce can't fix though. While the shrimp in the fried rice was fresh, it was bland and needed seasoning. The dumplings were tasty, but I recommend those be eaten right away as opposed taken home & eaten there. I felt that the serving size was generous, but a little on the pricey side. The restaurant setting is really cute and the woman who helped me was so sweet. I'm a sucker for supporting privately owned businesses managed by nice people so I'll probably be back!

Delicious! What a fantastic little place. The food is exquisite. The restaurant is cozy, intimate, and casual--a perfect stop to warm up on a cold day. The service was ok.

Favorite spot in Cherry Creek to eat. I love their fresh food, and it's always easy to get a table here (especially when it's warm enough to get a table outside). I really enjoyed the Duck stir fried Shanghainese noodles, beef and pork wontons, and the beef fried rice.

Fortune Wok to Table /fullandhappybelly/ noun 1. a really cool & cozy place to grab a warm bite on a winter's night "Fortune Wok to Table is often known for bringing together friends, family and co-workers with shared plates of delicious steamed or pan-fried dumplings, yummy noodles or tasty fried rices." The Story Behind the Definition: My co-workers and I dropped into this small dumpling haven after a night out at Cherry Creek Holiday Market. They were a full house when we arrived but the aroma made us want to wait for a seat to come available. We also had a regular in our party who swore this was one of the best dumpling spots in town. You wait if that's truly the case... The sweet server/host told us it'd be 20 minutes, however, I think we were seated in a hot 10. As I stated above, we had a regular with us. He was instantly recognized by one of the staff members who came over for a quick hello. Personally, I love when moments like this happen! It shows how places you dine can become more like a friendly neighbor's home. You instantly get a sense of comfort. You know? The menu is small and absolutely perfect! I appreciated how simple they kept it, because it made figuring out what you wanted so easy. We shared orders of steamed pork, pan-fried beef and pan-fried vegetable dumplings. They were each incredddddd-ible and had their own razzle dazzle. I'll be ordering ALL THREE every time I'm in the building. On top of the dumplings, we had shrimp noodles and vegetable fried rice. Again, they each had their own flare and sass that made you scoop more and more onto your plate. I'll be ordering BOTH again, and again, and again. ***order their hot chili sauce and smother (or dip) it on EVERYTHING*** In all, I think if you are anywhere near this spot. IT IS A MUST-GO. I'm personally setting a goal in 2023 to become a regular. :D

This is a sister restaurant to Fortune Wok to Table in Cherry Creek North. Clearly there must be at least two chefs to operate two locations. One chef is fantastic, but the second team is a real problem. We thought the food was fabulous on our first visit and several other items on the menu looked interesting, so we paid a second visit after a couple of weeks. It was a disaster. We ordered the dumplings again. They were way overcooked and burned in spots. Very unappealing. Then we made the mistake of ordering the duck. It was horribly burned and nearly inedible. We picked off the bits that we could and choked them down. Absolutely disgusting, especially when we were so excited to try it again. I'm not in the mood to play the lottery about which chef is in the kitchen, so we won't be back. What a missed opportunity!

The difficulties with are in my previous reviews. Now much of the facility has been torn down and the ongoing construction of the space to be city staff offices and the bigger space to be affordable housing had become impractical to use or eat at the restaurant. The noise was deafening. In January they moved to a food court on the Hill. This is a lower level of a building with other tenants. There are about 6 food kitchens and each time I have been here this summer and fall, this is the busiest at lunch. Since the seating is communal there is always space and it is clean. The staff here have been really nice. If I'm preparing a meal at home or supplementing leftovers, I have stopped by to get a fave vegetable, baby bok choy, steamed and seasoned and at an affordable side dish price. Today my husband and I walked down for lunch and ordered the Tuesday special street crepes some of the owners have continued from the long gone first owners from Beijing. As with other succeeding owners, they too have continued to use lettuce rather than the bok choy in the crepe. It also has some ham, scallions and crispy wonton bits and a nice spread of hoisin. It is topped with a sprinkle of black sesame seeds that I love. Another difference from the original is that the ingredients of the crepe itself are not well mixed together so many large patches of separate egg white and yolk makes it harder to hold together and not as pretty. But it tastes just fine but original years ago was addicting. I will continue to come here try more of the food from the current owner. I love beef noodles and have 2 other places I can get a good version but this is the most walkable for me. They do very nice prep for takeout which is good too. At lunch it is busy with CU affiliated students, staff and faculty alike. Every item I have had at Flower Pepper is hand made and prepared for the customer.
