I bought my Cadillac CTS here 3 years ago and I had a pretty good experience when buying the car. The upsell process on buying an extended warranty and service was a bit annoying but nothing too crazy. I've been going here for three years now for service and everything has been fine, but the most recent trip was eye-opening. They quoted me $1,600 to replace my brake pads and calipers when I told them they were making a loud noise recently. I told them to hold off, as the price seemed high, and I went to another mechanic the next day. That mechanic told me I have 75% of my brakes still left so I don't need to replace them, but rather I just need to use a high-pressure car wash to clean the rotors. They said if they did sell me a new set, it would only be $600 for a new set. Service customers beware and get a 2nd/3rd quote before dropping coin like that. read more

Worst service department around. No one knows anything about where cars are at. One manager told us they don't even know what or how many cars are on their lot. Our Jeep has been back 3 times in less then a month they keep telling us it's fix before we get it home it braked down again. They are really no help when it comes to fixing cars. First is that I've become accustomed to my car being washed because they have every time I've come up to now. They didn't yesterday. The second is that I recommend that you delineate between Chevrolet and Cadillac. Chevrolet automobiles are fine cars. However, I own a Cadillac. I come in for service on my Cadillac, not a Chevy. The number on the Cadillac website takes me to a Chevy service department and I hung up when the answer recording kicked in. The service person I started with said he gets that a lot. Even though my car is 10 years old now, it doesn't change the bit of pride that I feel over owning and happily driving a Cadillac. Put Chevy service on the Chevy site and Cadillac service on the Cadillac site. It doesn't matter that they are both Medved. I'll be back. Thank you. read more

PSA - This is for Foundation Cadillac (same dealer/service department) **If you have a vehicle with a 3rd party insurance carrier for repairs and have been told by this service center that the insurance denied your claim I advise you call your insurance company to personally verify. Doug G, service manager told me via text and phone on 3 different occasions that a claim for an oil pan leak and rear shocks was denied by the carrier (stating he did not submit a picture prior to repair for the oil pan and the shocks were flat out denied). I contacted my insurance provider who informed me they sent the service manager an email stating all requests were approved in full (the same day I picked my vehicle up) - they confirmed the service managers name, correct email, and time of communication for such notification. I contacted the service center again today (2 days after they received approval notification) to provide them one last chance to make the situation right before. Doug's (service manager) response was less than satisfactory from a customer relations point and instead blamed everyone but himself for following through - even after my 2 requests for follow up prior. With the insurance companies approval of claim all the service center had to do was send the final invoice and completion of work and the service center would be paid the full claim amount (unbeknown to me **OR YOU**). This, in addition to already feeling uneasy about the service request as I went in for an oil change and to repair badging and was ultimately pressured into approving a 100,000 service repair on a vehicle that only had 84,499 miles at intake - which was then compounded when they called to tell me of the alleged leaking shocks and oil pan! This entire experience screams fraud - be aware if you decide to use this service location! read more

Do not buy from these crooks! We had a horrible experience with Jessica and her "Manager" who wouldn't show his face. We loved a 2021 truck that we were ready to drive off the lot today. AFTER we agreed to a price and allowed them to run a hard inquiry in our credit Jessica conveniently couldn't find a discount code that was part of the deal the entire conversation. Instead of keeping her word she tried to bait and switch the entire deal charging us more than originally agreed upon. We walked. We were broken down in Denver, half-way to our destination. I called Medved Chevy early in the morning and they quickly arranged to get my vehicle fixed. They arranged to shuttle me to and from their location and had my vehicle fixed by the end of the day. The shuttle driver even stayed late to pick me up at the hotel and get me to my fixed vehicle. If there was a rating less than one star I could give it without reservation. I took my 2011 Chevrolet Silverado into Medved for new tires and an oil change and lubrication. When it was all done; the tires came out $250 more than was quoted and the entire front end around the A frames, ball joints, and frame rails was covered in dripping diesel fuel. Also, from the dust on the grease zerks it was evident that no lubrication was done. The Service Idiot, err, Director, told me on the phone unintelligible dribble about my service appointment. This place is a DON'T USE BUSINESS! I've met Mr. Medved a few times and am surprised that he allows this "Stuff" to go on at his business. read more

We purchased a Chevy Bolt there. They were eager to sell us the car but after the purchase, they have little interest in helping or serving the customer. The salesman ignored all our follow up questions in calls and texts about the 220V charger he promised a discount on. We went in and discussed the charger with the parts department but they admitted they did not know much about EV chargers. They got us the wrong charger (we told them we had an outlet already so just needed a plug-in) and we had to return it, which meant we lost our discount they promised. We had to research what we needed online and ordered it elsewhere. Only one person services EVs but when they did our annual maintenance, he did a good job. However, when we call to ask about recall notices we received, they hang up on us (thought we were accidentally disconnected but person did same thing when called the second time and mentioned the recall). You have to go in person to get their attention. read more

What a poorly run service department all around. I try not to use service departments because I'm not all that interested in being up charged. But I bought my truck and the warranty at Medved, so when it wouldn't start in my driveway I decided I would give them a try. Well, that is the last time I will do that. First I spoke with Susan. I let her know my vehicle was dead in my driveway and that I wasn't sure what to do because this is currently my families only vehicle And I wasn't even sure what to do because I had never used my warranty before. Instead of offering to help, she quickly told me I needed to call the warranty company and have them take care of it. So, I did all of that. Then called Susan back, I let her know I had set up the tow and it would be dropped that same night in Wheatridge, at that point she rudely pointed out she didn't even work in Wheatridge and that I needed to call that location. Once again no offer to help, not even an offer to connect me to Wheatridge. Nope just call back and go through the whole thing again. So I did, once I got to the Wheatridge location I reached Brian. He could not have been in a bigger hurry to get me off the phone. He said I'd have to wait "a while" if I wanted my car looked at there, or it needed to go to Castle Rock (50 miles away). He then told me I could just take my car to another mechanic if I wanted to get it done. I used to work as a service advisor for McDonald and we were taught to treat every customer great, I see the same thing is not encouraged at Medved. So needless to say, I am taking my vehicle somewhere else and we will not be buying our next vehicle from Medved. I bought a 2022 Chevy Bolt EUV on 4/22. On 6/30/22, the Service Vehicle Soon Light came on. I was near the dealership and since I purchased my Bolt there, I drove right up to the service department. The service manager Ty Davenport said his EV Tech wouldn't be in until Tuesday & to go to another Chevy dealer. Instead I went in to speak with the sales mgr, Joe Reiner. I told him to keep the car, I wanted my money back. Not even 2000 miles & already at the shop, now they are telling me to go somewhere else! He offered me $8000 less than I owe. He told me that there have been several issues with the EVs in fact another newly purchased EV was having the same issue. He suggested I leave the vehicle until Tuesday. He couldn't offer a loaner car but would look into a rental car, and offered me a ride home. The lot tech who drove me home said there were 15 unsellable cars like mine in the back of the lot. I heard nothing until Tuesday 6:34 pm (still no loaner vehicle for me). I called Chevy Corporate and they suggested I take it to another dealership. He gave me numbers and addresses of dealers nearby. I found Fowler Chevy would service it today. Fowler also suggested using roadside assistance for a dealer to dealer tow. Foundation refused to let my car go. They will not fix it and they will not allow another dealer to fix it either. I just want my money back. This car should have never been sold to an unsuspecting consumer! BEWARE ~ they know they are putting faulty vehicles out on the street. read more

They wanted to do paperwork before i even knew if it was worth traiding in, they ran my credit without my approval and then were assholes to me when i told them to stop i wanted to look first and know what my car was worth. This is the worst dealership! STAY AWAY! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! My husband's 2014 Chevy Cruz while driving home seemed to over heat. My husband was only going 45 miles an hour and as soon as he got it home we decided to tow it to Medved Wheatridge. We purchased the car at Medved Castle Rock and had a great experience there. Medved Wheatridge is closer to us and since we had the warranty we needed to take it to the dealer. They took 2 days to even look at it. No loaner car was given until they looked at it. We had to keep calling them for info or even an update on the vehicle. Then they came back with the head was cracked on the engine. They said they called the extended warranty people and that they were sending an adjuster to the dealer to see if it was a covered benefit. But because the dealer told the warranty company that the head cracked due to overheating the insurance company said their was a clause in the warranty that if the car over heats that it's not a covered benefit. A $3200 repair. They said that if we traded it in they couldn't give us anything for the car. Not even $500. THINGS JUST DIDN'T SEEM RIGHT. We said we would have it towed somewhere else and thankfully we were smart enough to get a second opinion. Turns out the head wasn't cracked AT ALL and they tried charging us for a repair that wasn't needed. THEY LIED! Even worse they were trying to let us trade the car in for nothing, then they would have turned around and sold the car for a profit. This is theft, and potentially insurance fraud. 1. Learned don't ever purchase an extended warranty. 2. DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS WITH YOUR CAR. Read the other reviews. Dan the service manager never called us back. My experience with Medved was bad at the first,  the sales person didn't seem to want to help me. I asked for a couple more pictures of the Hummer interior, and if it had a sunroof. it took half a day, and another few phone calls. Then I got a different sales person. I will not put their names on here, then I got the General Manager and he made the experience better, I really wanted the 2006 Hummer H3 they had on their lot. So the GM talked and helped me, So I got the Hummer. Then it started to go bad again, the guy that delivered it had no clue how to do the paperwork, still not sure if the paperwork was done right??? The guy also told me they would mail me my copies in a few days, Still waiting... Now when the person or the persons that detailed and washed the Hummer. Making it nice for the customer. I think they would have noticed the big leak from the sunroof and reported it to the service department, yes and it leaked that bad, Oh and I also got soaked... hahaha bad pun. I would hope they would fix it but buyer beware,,, as is will get you in the end.... The deal was done over the internet and they delivered the Hummer to me, So they did take care of the leaky sunroof, and I thanked them for this, it was a plugged drain spout.. who knew? But now it is 2 months later and I still have no paperwork, so I have called ,, I was told by Joel that he would call me back,, I should have asked when and what time. Still Waiting for Joel's return call. I need to get an emissions test and no paperwork. Nice is not a good word to use for this deal. New update, I went and tried to get an emissions test done, Nope it did not pass nor fail something about the computer not reading, so this time I talked to Caleb who said that he was the guy I needed to talk too. He assured me that he would take care of the issues, and issues me a new temp tag so I was not driving on an expired temp tag. Now remember back 2 months when the sunroof leaked I feel that it caused a couple of other issues that the hummer has.... could be because of the leak, This is what the dealership found,,,, apparently the GPS system tracker the dealership installed on the Hummer is bad, so the dealership bypassed this system to make it pass emissions, So bypassing a computer related function is ?????? The dealership didn't even look at the other stuff, maybe my Hummer is S A F E to drive or maybe not. Then I called Caleb again. He said very rudely that he is not going to deal with this anymore, He then told me to call Josh L, and hungup. Now I know that I have called several times, but I don't think I am being unreasonable for trying to make sure my Hummer is safe. This has been the worst car deal I have ever had.. My mom took her car in to get worked on for an entire day yesterday, the person that was in charge of my moms service said he'd call us by the end of the day to go pick it up. My mom works at night so it was okay with her to leave it there since she wouldn't need it till then. We got no call or text to let us know that it'd be there over night or an update on it, we called a couple times and we got no answer. My mom was car-less, if her job was strict she could've lost her job. This upsets me so much because not even a courtesy call was made. (9/02/22) read more

I have been a customer of Medved Chevrolet for years, there service department is great and there sales team is helpful. My complaint is regarding there finance department/ management team , I traded in my 2020 3500 for a 2022 3500 and received more then blue book for my trade which made buying a new truck a no brainer. My interest rate was presented to me at 2.99 which sounds great but unbeknownst to me GM was offering a 1.9% for the same term for well qualified buyers, which I am. When I came across this offer I reached out to GM financial to see if they could adjust my rate, they referred me back to the dealership and said they could rewrite my contract and get me the 1.9%. At that point I headed down to the dealership to have my interest rate adjusted. I spoke with Caleb the sales manager and he assured me that this would get taken care of he just needed time to get the proper approvals to adjust my rate, today I spoke with him and he referred me to refinance my truck less then a month after I purchased it with a different company. I explained to him that was not going to cut it as I do not want to pay additional fees just to get the interest rate that should have been offered. He the said " you signed the contract at 2.99% so it's not our fault" after explaining to him again that I was unaware of the 1.9% and that the finance guy should have presented that as an option, he rebutted with we do not share that information with our clients unless they ask. So if you must buy from foundation please check GM's website before purchasing as the dealership will not give you the best deal unless you specifically ask for it read more

was going to buy a car from them, but after talking to one of their sales rep on the phone. I think I will pass. after he told me on the phone they would have to flush the engine oil and transmission oil. before they do an appraisal.he then said the appraisal might be lower. in other words they want to charge me to do an engine flush on my car with out even checking it out first. he told me they do it with every car they buy no matter how old the car is.Every car I ever owned I always follow the manufacturer recommendation in the owners manual. If medved wants to do an engine flush on my car before they buy it fine. but I'm not paying for it. find someone else to scam. after reading some of these reviews I think I made a wise choice to stay away from them read more

If I could leave NO stars I would. I was crystal clear that I needed an AWD vehicle. Of the 4 cars I test drove, I made sure to ask the salesman "and this is AWD correct?", to which he always replied yes. After purchasing what was a rental car in California with pretty high miles, probably for more than I should have paid, I realized it wasn't AWD. When I went back to adjust the financing and take a bunch of crap off that they had tacked on, I told Johnny MEDVED the issue, and he said, "what can we do to make it right?". I said, "take the car back and give me one that is AWD at no additional cost to me". he just stared at me like I had three eyes... I went to EMPIRE NISSAN and they were awesome and worked very hard to minimize the cost to me to get out of the 2WD and into an AWD. They were fantastic! Certainly DON'T go to Medved, but DO go to EMPIRE NISSAN. AND - the Finance guy at Empire Nissan admitted that he had done that once to a customer. HOWEVER - the sales manager (just a sales manager, not like he's the owner's son or anything) took the hit and swapped it out for an AWD for the customer. So, it can be done. Months later I get a call from someone at MEDVED wanting to "make it right"... So, I called and left a message saying that they could cut me a check for the $3,500.00 it cost me to get out of the 2WD and into the AWD. No response. Not surprised... My 09 CTS was involved in an accident. The passenger door and right front fender needed replaced. There was a small dent in front of right rear tire. I repaired the dent and asked the painter when he painted door and fender if he could paint the small repair. He said it would not look right would be hard to blend. He painted the entire rear right side bumper to bumper for a little out of pocket. He did a great job painting it. The finish is as good as the factory. I give thanks to Kyle for putting up with my phone calls. A+ in my book. read more

If I could give zero stars I would, but alas I cannot. Medved is a suckfestival. Medved is the kind of place that they film used car movies at. I went to Medved when I was looking to purchase a car. This is a bad idea first of all because Medved is an American car dealer, and American cars just aren't so good. Nevertheless I was willing to give it a shot and went into the lot which sits behind a trailer where their sharks with bad toupees wait for customers to be approached to be hustled. I moseyed around waiting for one of the bad suits to approach me so I could get my purchase on. Well it took forever, but finally someone came to help me. I took a black Firebird out for a test drive (I know, I'm a total greaser). The salesman would not let me take the car out by myself, which right there let me know that I would NOT be purchasing from Medved. They treat their customers like total garbage, more on that later. The salesman actually told me NOT to drive the car too fast and critiqued my driving! It's a freaking FIREBIRD buddy, if it can't be driven fast, what is the point of buying it? So the (bad)suit and I take a little loop around lovely Wheatridge and pull back into the lot. Now the car had a baby sock in the backseat, gum stuck to the carpet under the passenger seat, and was not a low mileage car. We go into the office to discuss a purchase price and the salesman proceeds to tell me that i can have the car for the fantastic price of $3,000 OVER high retail Kelly Blue Book value. Wha? I politely reminded them that the car wasn't in the best shape, and that there was no way I was paying anything more than $13,000 for the car. They wanted $19,000 by the way which was VERY high for the car. They rudely suggested that if I couldn't afford the car (I could, I spend far more than $19,000 on a car later that week at Mike Shaw) that I should buy a $5000 car because "You have to walk before you can crawl". Thank you Medved, also a penny saved is a penny earned, and a stitch in time saves nine. I told them that they were charging too much and I was taking my football and going home. The bad suit (Mens wearhouse had a sale apparently) accused me of WASTING HIS TIME. If you are going to charge more than the highest blue book price for a car, people are going to leave Medved, and unhappily at that. I wrote to the GM of Medved and let him know how shoddily I had been treated, he told me that he was sorry but that there was nothing he could do. I knew what I could do, spend money at another dealership. I advise you do the same. Their slicked back suits can spend their free time pushing, pulling, and dragging each other in the trailer. read more

We hade to buy a car here since ours died and couldn't be fixed. We had it towed there for the $3500 push pull or drag offer which we got. The catch is if you get the 3500 you cannot negotiate the price. We had spoken to a sales rep the night before and he said to ask for him when we came in. As soon as we got there the vultures circled. When we asked for the rep we were told he didn't come in until later but he would make sure he got credit for the sale. Having to be at work in a few hours we were stuck with this guy. I told him that buying a car made in the US was extremely important and picked out a Ford. He assured us that it was made in the US in spite of having a '3' in the VIN (1 means made in the US). Come to find out today that it was made in Mexico! This sales man put on the usual fake show trying to act like a long lost friend complete with slapping me on the back, poing me and just generally being unprofessional and over the top. We found their asking price was right in line with KBB, but being in a hurry (too much so) we made several mistakes such as not noticing they just inflated the price by $3500 to make it look like we were getting the trade in value. We asked to see the carfax and was only told what was on it, they wouldn't give it to us. (We pulled it and everything checked out) Then they started with the pricing game. They insisted on $2000 down, explaining that money was tight they agreed to $1500 (still a stretch but doable), Then came the delight of sitting with the finance person. We were firm in the fact that the payments couldn't go over $400/mo. He tried to get us into a loan that fit the budget but was at 15.99% interest for 72 months! We had already talked to the Credit Union and was just waiting for a response and knew we could do better. He then attempted to sell us their outrageous extended warranty (which would have made our payments $511/mo. He advised us at first that the banks wanted us to get it and it would make it easier for them to get financing. When we refused he tried the harder sell. When we told him for the 10th time we didn't want it he actually became hostile toward us demanding we write that we were assuming all responsability for repairs on a meaningless piece of paper. The following day he contacted us and told us he could do the deal but the payments would go up from what we agreed upon. We then advised him that we had already contacted out Credit union and they settled on a 5.99% interest, for fewer months and each payment would be $40 less than what he said they would be. You could tell this guy was livid that we arranged our own financing. We had to go back and resign the paperwork. We had to go in seperately due to work schedules. I was the 2nd to sign. He basically shoved the new documents in front of me after I reviewed them (again this made him upset) I signed and was sumarily dismissed. No thank you for your business... nothing. I know used car dealers are notorious for being dishonest and difficult to deal with but this place takes the cake. If you get a salesman named Gary or a finance guy named Tim run away. Gary hovers and won't leave you alone. His actions (slapping, poking) are totally inapropriate and Tim gets hositle and is (in my sole opinion) dishonest, looking for a deal that will make them the most money without any regard to the customer. We would have walked away if our trade in didn't have to be towed. We were stuck and unfortunately they knew it. read more

The Service Department and Individual Sales crew are amazing at this dealership. The floor Manager in Pre-owned Chevy is the problem. He must have been having a bad day. He would not give me an estimated price on my trade-in, acted like he didn't have the time of day(there was no one in there) and said I would have to be settled on something before he would give me a quote. Amazing that when I went to a different Chevy dealer they were happy to take care of me and jumped into my truck, drove it around and gave me a trade in value within a half hour. Guess who's getting my business? If their Sales are suffering at this dealer, I think this may be a great example of why. It's not the Sales staff, they were excellent. Let me preface this by saying that I come from a car family, married into another car family, and have spent a LOT of time at car dealers. This is not a good one. I humored my dear husband by going to look for a used Tahoe or Suburban (after all, how could I definitely say "NO" when I'd never sat in one or driven one?). The sales guy comes out and shmoozes us. We tell him what we're looking for, and my husband, who was trying to be nice and not lead the guy on, told him honestly that we were just wanting to test drive and that we were not looking to buy a car today. He leads us to the ONE used Tahoe on the lot and lets us look it over while he goes back to get the keys. A few minutes later he comes back with no keys. He said, ooops, surprise, someone had taken the car for a test drive earlier and now they couldn't find the keys. Ok, well, that sucks. So we continue looking at other vehicles, including a used Traverse. My husband decides he would like to take that one out for a spin, just to see how it drives and if it's something that he would consider buying. The guy goes back in to get the keys, and comes out with the keys but says that there were "too many people out for test drives," and they didn't have any dealer tags left so we could take it for a drive. By this point, we both got the feeling this dude was just jacking us around and blowing us off. Took in my 2011 Chevy and had a few repairs done. Paid for a full inspection to find out what else was wrong and what they found was going to cost me $6500 bucks the cars not worth putting that much into. I guess say no thanks pissed them off. When my wife brought the car home I spent a hour putting the trim pieces on in the back hood prop was broken. Plus Jason was a dick when asked questions about the extra repairs. Seriously? We were approved for $19k for a truck. We put down the $2k that we were short and signed all the paper work. After the 72hrs where we could return the vehicle we got a call saying that we would need to put down another $2k because the loan came back short. We asked if we could return the vehicle and they said sure and they would keep the other $2k we orig. put down. My wife and I have been searching for a car for months. We've visited multiple different kinds of "specialty" lots and have been at several used lots in the past. None of them compared to Medved. We would walk in at these other dealerships and they would waste our time getting to the numbers that we wanted. At this dealership, they went to the banks once and had our exact numbers with the down payment we wanted. They even knocked down the price to sweeten the deal. They offered us a phenomenal deal which we still can't believe that we got. Realistically, no car dealer is perfect. They got a couple facts wrong about the car specs. This ended up being no big deal to us, but to others, this could be a bigger issue. Just make sure to do your homework before signing any papers. Get the specs on your own. This is an honest mistake because they had several different makes, models and years and knowing every single fact is frankly not realistic. All in all, the service was amazing. We were greeted instantly as we entered the building. They really do focus on what you want rather than what they can get from you. We were there for about four hours, which was great, and in that time, 3 other families bought cars just as enthusiastically as us. We recommend at least giving them a shot if you're looking for a good deal on a used car. read more

Went to Medved Ford to buy a new truck! The sales rep did a great job of finding the right truck and I was looking forward to driving it home. Then the sales manager (Roger?) showed up and, what I thought was a done deal, went south. Apparently Roger thinks the best way to sell a car is to try to make the customer feel like an idiot. He became visibly irritated when I wouldn't take his offer of $6k below low blue book for my trade ($9k below high blue book). I walked out when he said I was "sitting there with a smirk on my face" when I failed to believe one of his lies. I thought the days of slimeball sales managers were gone, but not at Medved. I would drive 1000 miles to buy a car from a professional before dealing with Roger and his 1983 used car tactics. I like to buy local, but I'm embarrassed to have people operating like this in the community. Medved should reevaluate their sales approach. Especially in the age of social media. There are plenty of car dealers around and I would happily pay more and drive further to deal with a human being. On the positive side, the sales rep (Shaun) did a very good job of finding the right truck and selling me on it. I am confident that he would have closed the deal if it wasn't for the sales manager. I feel bad for Shaun having to work in that environment. Maybe Medved should make him the sales manager. read more

I called over 5 times and know body will answer the phone in the service department. Then when I got my truck back from an oil change there was only one screw holding the air filter cover on. You will get better professional service from grease monkey. read more

Don't buy a preowned vehicle here. I bought a Chevy Tahoe for $12k and 4 months later the engine light comes on and it needs to be rebuilt or swapped out. I was in tears when I brought it back. They were no help...and could care less. read more

Never trade in your car, but never never never trade in your car at Medved. Here's what happened. We went in, picked out a car for $16,000. We told them we wanted to trade in our old Toyota. They came back with a printout of their offer showing the new car at $19,500 and the trade-in value of the Toyota at $3500, bringing the price of the new car all the way down to $16,000. If you can do basic math I'm sure you can see what this means: they wanted the Toyota for free. They would not admit this, even though it was in black-and-white in front of me. They just kept changing the subject. "Why did you change the price of the car to $19,500?" "No no, you see with your trade-in it's $16,000." "No, without my trade-in it was $16,000." "Well here's the thing, I've been doing this a long time and I like to help people..." They spoke to me like I was a child. It was the tallest pile of bullshit I've seen in a lot of years. When we needed a new vehicle last year I started researching the local scene for vehicles trying to get a feeling for price and availability. The vehicle we wanted wasn't exactly common, but they weren't so rare there weren't any out there either. I checked with lots of dealers and online services. My wife's family had purchased the previous 6 vehicles from Medved going back to before Medved was the dealer. She was confident we would be taken care of and they just happened to have one of the vehicles we were searching for. We went to Medved and were received well. We went on a test drive and when we returned we started to talk price. The salesman went to speak with the manager. He came back and had noticed that I had made an inquiry online that was never answered. He asked if I was still going to put cash down and we said yes. He came back with a price that was just about what we were looking to work with! We were ecstatic. They quickly sent us into the finance officers office and we started to talk as he was making up the paperwork. This was to be car #7 from a trusted friend of the family. When we were told the monthly payments after purchasing the warranty it seemed a bit high, but these guys are family friends. We trusted them. That's the LAST time we'll be purchasing from Medved. Our down payment was used on the price sheet to give us a price in the ballpark of the other vehicles in the area. We expected to have our down payment taken off the purchase price, not to be used as a discount. Of course when we went back we were told too bad... you had a chance to read the paperwork. So, yes, shame on us, but SHAME on Medved for being misleading. A definite repeat customer is now going to buy somewhere else. I was willing to be reasonable about the whole thing, they were not. I got no response from Medved. I found out through our lending institution. Everything from the sales force to the paperwork is used to deceive the buyer. If I could give a zero rating it would still be higher than deserved. We lost several thousands of dollars. Oh, and it just so happens we're in the market for 3 more cars for our children RIGHT NOW! My husband and I went to Medved to look at Cadillacs. The sales person was very informative and when she didn't know the answer she immediately went to find out. The sales manager was great also. Although they couldn't negotiate the price too much they gave us tinted windows and a bra coating for no charge. We were pleased with the way the transaction went and are happy with our car. read more
