Founders Coffee has a really nice atmosphere--cozy, inviting, and a great spot to hang out or get some work done. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick, which I appreciated. I decided to try their seasonal coffee flight because it looked fun and unique, and while the presentation was super cute, I don't think I'd order it again. For almost $18, it just wasn't worth it. Only one of the drinks really stood out to me, and the others were either just okay or not something I'd want to finish. I love the concept, but for the price, I would have been much happier just ordering a regular coffee or latte. That being said, the lox bagel was delicious! It was definitely the highlight of my visit. Overall, Founders is a nice spot, and I'd come back for their food and regular drinks, but I wouldn't go out of my way to order the flight again. If you're looking for a cute Instagram moment, it might be fun to try once, but if you're more focused on getting a good coffee, you're better off sticking to their regular menu. read more

After paying and noticing both the desert beauty matcha didn't have strawberry cold foam on top and the inner dew refresher had no sliced strawberries because they claimed they had a busy day and ran out but did not inform us prior to ordering. I was so stoked to try Founders coffee when I saw they do coffee and matcha flights! We chose two coffee and two matcha drinks. I was a little disappointed by the size of the flight and didn't think it was quite worth $16. It's challenging to get the flavor on point in that small of container. We got the banana matcha, honey lavender matcha, churro, and... I can't remember the other coffee one lol which is sad because that flavor and the honey lavender matcha were our favorites! The banana was confusing because we couldn't taste it anywhere and was just traditional matcha. We also ordered their chorizo burrito and was pleasantly surprised by its size! I thought we'd get another small, thin burrito but it was big lol It was deceptive, it felt really hot like they made it fresh, but once I cut it in half to share with my husband, I realized they just microwaved it because the middle was cold. The flavor was good though and we devoured it! Service was good, the cashier/barista was nice and friendly. Hot cup lids don't close properly spilled tea all over my car. Please buy a safer brand and invest in hot cup sleeves! Anticipate customers needs by adding napkins, utensils, etc to the bag, specially on to go orders. The overnight oats tasted very bland they need more sugar or something. The breakfast croissant was good. The everything bagel was good as well. The espresso tasted a little bitter and lacked crema. $40 for two drinks and two sandwiches. Drinks weren't bad but novelty and nothing you would want to drink on a frequent basis unless you aspire to a Type II diabetes diagnosis. Sandwiches were nothing more than microwaved trash with a chilled surprise in the center. Seems like they are trying to compete with SBs but do it at a higher price point while failing to deliver better items. Lots of the coffee is very sweet! The flights are cute as well, and the food is good. Only problem is the staff is really slow and they don't greet you when you walk in the door or acknowledge you at all. I can stand at the register for awhile before they even acknowledge me. This has happened multiple times making me not want to come back. I also wanted to go to the drive thru and I sat there for 5 min and no one answered so I went to the window and still no one, now having to walk inside which I didn't wana do. read more

When I need a nice pick me up before work or a quick coffee and breakfast on the weekend, Founders coffee is one of my go tos in my regular rotation of local coffee shops. They're in a good area close to the freeway and within the same area as a gas station with a convenient drive through. This location seems a bit larger than the St. Rose parkway st location and offers the same seasonal drink flights that I love for a breakfast date with friends. They have coffee, tea, smoothies, pastries, cake pops, breakfast croissant sandwiches, avocado toast, etc. and offer vegan milk alternatives like oat milk. Drinks: Seasonal drink flights - includes 4 different drinks that you can also order individually. These change all the time and are pretty cool to try! Honey lavender iced matcha - my current favorite. It's the right amount of sweetness and lavender syrup flavor that's not overpowering. Very refreshing on a hot day. read more

food is great. i love it. except how the drinks tasted SO bland and the service is horrible each time i went hoping it would be different. me and my friend asked to have the food for here and hers came with utensils and plates. but mine was just in a togo box, no utensils. and another time i went through the drive thru and i accidentally hit the tip button(that was my fault i was planning to tip cash) and the cashier said there was no way to go back so i was like thats fine i guess. and when i got my food the cashier said that utensils and napkins would be in a box but when i opened it, there was nothing but the food. the service has always been terrible each time i swear. read more

I came to try their coffee flight and I loved it! I tried Caffeine Machine for their flights before and did not enjoy that so I'm glad I finally found one that satisfies my search of good coffee flights. This coffee shop is very spacious with plenty of seatings available inside. They also have a drive thru which is convenient for on the go. The drinks do take some time to make though especially if they're busy. I waited about 15 mins for the flight. The coffee flight comes with set drinks that are all hot, which I personally prefer. This visit, they had the Holiday coffee flavors which were their Pumpkin con Panna, Brown sugar chai, Butter Pecan Latte, and French Toast Latte. All of them were good and my favorite was the French Toast Latte which was the sweetest one and had the most distinct flavor. The pumpkin con panna is basically an espresso shot with whipped cream and sprinkles. The brown sugar chai had a good taste of chai and the butter pecan was really good if you like it not too sweet but still flavorful. Overall a good spot for coffee and delicious lattes. Basing off the flight, if you have a sweet tooth I would recommend trying their French toast latte. read more

This place had so much hype therefore a friend and I decided to go for coffee & pastries. It didn't have a great selection of pastries. We ordered the cold Latte and those were good. Their burrata toast was delicious. The service was great n the atmosphere was nice too. Parking is a nuisance. Cars parked on either sides. Need to be careful when reversing. read more

I am here to review about their coffee only. The butterbrew tasted like milk and syrup. no coffee taste whatsoever so we had asked the barista for a shot of expresso. Of course the shot was paid extra. it made the butter brew better but it still didn't have the nice bold coffee butter coffee taste The tiramisu latte comes in iced only and it was better than the butterbrew in that we didn't have to make an adjuncts to it. Stopped by after visiting the Sundry a few months ago. I do not remember what I ordered but I do remember liking my drink. I asked for extra vanilla because I'm addicted to sugar. My wife ordered a fruity seasonal drink. She liked her drink too. No complaints, the location is near the 215 and can easily be missed. I got a small churro latte with almond milk the size is equivalent to a starbucks tall and cost about 7.45$ It taste really good, a nice chocolate cinnamon flavor the coffee itself is really smooth not bitter at all. I went through the drive through asked for hot coffee with non fat milk. They said they don't have "non fat milk" then gave my hot coffee without a sleeve, not sure if they are trying to save money on a sleeve while charging more than $5 for coffee. I asked first cinnamon and raisin bagel and they gave me a plain one, which I realized after I drove off. I don't know how service is inside of the coffee shop but unfortunately I was wrong when I thought I found a nice cafe to frequent to. Will not be coming back! read more
