BEST coffee place I have been to in Scottsdale recently - I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. I have been trying various coffee shops around the Scottsdale area, and this was an absolute hit. It is in a prime location within old town, and it was absolutely adorable. It is a very quaint, small, adorable indoor/outdoor hybrid shop, and just had a peaceful and homelike vibe. I was the only one inside so I was greeted immediately by two incredibly sweet baristas. They were extremely knowledgable about the art of coffee in general and everything about the taste and experience was so authentic - not to mention they make the majority of syrups in house! They voluntarily gave me a whole run down of the menu and what the whole place was about which I always greatly appreciate. The barista taking my order (wish I grabbed her name she was awesome), recommended the cinnamon vanilla latte...absolute 10/10, easily top 5 lattes I have ever had! Not too sweet or artificial tasting whatsoever. I ended up having a pretty decent length conversation with them, and they were kind enough to give me a list of the best coffee shops in town, all of which I can't wait to try! It definitely is on higher end price wise, but I think it's worth it. Besides price, I would also like to note that there is very little space to sit. Overall I would put this at the top of my list for coffee to try and it will definitely be one of my new staples :) read more

What a great little coffee spot! They had a nice aesthetic on the inside with a few other items like hats, shirts etc. The staff was so friendly and accommodating! I was a barista for several years and this coffee was amazing! I had an iced lavender latte and it was so refreshing and the perfect amount of coffee. It wasn't bitter or too milky. Great service and great coffee. I'm from California and they have a location close by where I live which I thought was funny. Will definitely have to stop in their other location. I have been struggling to find good quality local coffee around Arizona and I have finally found a place that has decent coffee in Scottsdale! My friend introduced me to this place as she had known of my search to find the amazing taste of coffee I have been craving from back home. I ordered a hot almond milk latte from here and it was delicious. I base my taste of coffee on the first sip, how it feels when it hits my throat and then the after-taste, and Songbird did it right. It hit the spot in my belly that has been craving for good coffee ever since I moved here from OKC. In OKC/Edmond we have amazing little local coffee shops that really pay attention to the coffee beans, roasting, and quality of taste. In Arizona, there are millions of places to get coffee but like I said, I have been struggling to find some great coffee. Maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places? Help me out! I'm a stickler for amazing coffee and Fourtillfour has met my expectations for coffee. I like to first try something as simple as a latte to really get the taste of the espresso. I'm excited for my next visit to try something different! Also, I love how minimalist and cute the coffeeshop is. It's simple, to the point, and crisp. I got a couple of amazing shots of the interior. So wish I could give this place high stars but it was just ok. Went here on a Sunday- it was incredibly busy. I got a Rosemary Date latte and it was just okay. There is very little seating at this place even though they have the Land to put a lot of tables. I would go again but with lower expectations. read more

It's been a struggle finding a good coffee shop in AZ. 99 percent of the shops use Monin. Finally after dozens of cups in the trash I finally got a really good cup of coffee here. Talk about a hole in the wall place, but you don't want to miss it! Located in Old Town off of First, I found this place, barely, with my navigation system. It's actually a part of another business, but separate. Actually a really cool spot to relax with plenty of seating and shade under the trees, kind of like an espresso bar at the park. It's also located next to Bike Haus, a high end bicycle shop (I love road bicycles). Anyhow, let's talk drinks. I had the iced cinnamon latte with oat milk and 4 shots, and it was legit good. The espresso had a nice finish, almost sweet with the right amount of acid that I prefer. Mixed with oat milk and cinnamon syrup, it made for a nice morning treat. What a way to start my first day back in Scottsdale! It's a busy place at 7am, so I can only imagine what it's like later in the morning. Fourtillfour is "five by five" with me! This tiny coffee shop has a definite hipster vibe, with accompanying PBR a'plenty in the cooler behind the counter. The decor is Porche and classic car centric, with mod indoor and rustic outdoor seating. The menu is very straightforward with all your usual coffee suspects ready to be singled out for your order. I went with my old standard, the almond milk latte. I love how the almond milk they use is unsweetened. This not only cuts down on calories but it also means the quality of your coffee has to be very good because it can't hide behind sweeteners. I also redeemed the current check in offer for a cinnamon toast. The latte was a beautifully crafted beverage in a paper cup and I loved watching the barista work her latte art magic on it. The foam was super smooth and perfect looking, especially for almond milk. My first few sips had a strong flavor almost approaching bitterness but the rest of the drink went down smooth as silk. The cinnamon toast was indeed cinnamony and toasty. They use Noble bread, a halfsie wheat/white mix. I loved the combination of light toastiness with sweet cinnamon sugar and butter. The Cappuccino that I drank was very good (four barrel coffee), just the right temperature, but too small and served only in a paper cup. I get it--the place is too small probably to handle cups. Had I ordered the latte, the drink would have lasted longer, but I wanted that rich coffee taste that isn't diluted with quite so much milk. Maybe they have a bigger size Cappuccino, which would be just right! Seating was outside, and possibly in a little room (only one other person was there and he was sitting outside). Fourtillfour is located in what looks like a renovated garage. It's super clean and nicely decorated. The outdoor patio has a home like feel to it and is very relaxing. Surrounding the patio is a big beautiful shade tree and a grassy yard. We ordered their cold brew and it was fresh, strong and delicious. In addition to the cold brew they also serve regular coffee, lattes, espresso, cappuccinos and tea. The barista was very friendly and offered to make anything that we wanted. She told us that the coffee is made from in-house roasted coffee beans and that they sell them in 12 ounce bags. read more

Very small, hip coffeehouse in an old garage with outdoor seating only. The seating is really cute, but it gets really hot and uncomfortable. It's on the corner and it has parking. Absolutely delicious lattes! I got an almond milk honey lavender latte and holy hell, was it good and well crafted. The flavor didn't taste like syrup at all, so I want to return and try all their other specialty flavors. This is some of the best coffee I've had in recent memory. I liked my oat-milk latte with a smidge of house-made caramel sauce so much I came back all 3 mornings I was in the area. The shop is Porsche themed and they have some great little touches in terms of decor. The outdoor seating area is lovely and great for sitting with a friend; or alone and wolfing down a deliciously moist blueberry lemon muffin. (They have a small selection of baked goods.) We love visiting local shops when in new places. So when we were in Scottsdale, on our way back to CA after road tripping for a bit, we Yelped nearby coffee shops and found this gem. It was a Sunday and it was PACKED. Looks like they do coffee & car events on a regular basis, and we happened to swing by during one. Pretty cool stuff. Line wasn't too bad tho and we quickly got our drinks. I picked up a bag (paint can) of their beans, which comes with a free cold brew. They do a bunch of house syrups, which you can add your drink. We've already gone through the beans at home, and they were delicious. read more
