I stopped by Fourtillfour on a Saturday morning for some coffee! They were quite busy as they had a car show going on outside. I always prefer to focus mostly on the food/drinks when I write reviews but I am going to make an exception right now because I loved the design and decor at Fourtillfour! It's in a little white house, and has a garage door to the patio, making the coffee shop an indoor and outdoor experience (also great for me since I had my pup with me!). The inside is bright, modern, minimalist, with some cool art that has pops of color. It's the perfect amount of retro. I loved it! Now, on to the food and drinks. I ordered a mocha, which is my go to coffee treat! It was wonderful! The right amount of sweet, without being overly sweet. And I tried the cinnamon toast. Wow! this was a throw back to childhood...when my mom would make toast, butter it up, and cover it in cinnamon and sugar. Except instead of white wonder bread, they use Noble bread at Fourtillfour. Such a cute, quaint coffee spot in the Old Town area. Friendly staff and yummy coffee tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Old Town Scottsdale... what more could you want? They offer milk substitutes and the price is reasonable for the area if you want more of the detailed review. Their limited menu makes it easy to choose and the staff is super helpful in guiding your taste buds to the perfect cup of yum. Highly recommend and I will definitely be back. read more

Rad rad rad little coffee shop in Scottsdale. I was staying nearby at The Saguaro and was in need of caffeine and a quiet place to get a little work done. Fourtillfour came in hot with an fantastic americano (with oat milk!), v hip vibes, and plentiful patio seating. Their baristas were super friendly and the decor is Southwest hipster. I'll note that there aren't a lot of outlets since much of the seating is outside, so bring your devices fully charged if you're there to work. Wifi was fast and free! I imagine it's probably too hot to utilize their patio during the summer months, but in November it's just about perfect. read more

Cute local coffee shop. The coffee is amazing I recommend the macchiato, it's to die for. They have a few spots to sit and enjoy your coffee outside but it's pretty small so just grab and go is the best bet. Definitely recommend coming here. read more

My boyfriend went in and got me an iced cinnamon vanilla latte and a lemon blueberry muffin and it was delicious! My latte was perfect. It is pretty small so when it gets busy, you're going to be waiting but they have cute little seats outside to hang out and wait. Okay, so silly me was in a hurry to get to the office, tried going through the Starbucks line {I know, I know. So. Not. Right. but there is a drive through!} However, the line to get in was INSANE so I quickly Yelped the next nearest coffee shop and this gem came up!! Holy coffee lovers paradise! I ordered their cold brew with whole milk and some vanilla sweetener and I can honestly say, it was one of the best cold brews that i've ever had! You know you're at a true coffee place when the only sweetener they offer is vanilla and the only creams they have are whole milk and almond milk. Not to mention, it is a cozy atmosphere right in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale. What the heck was I thinking when trying to go to Starbucks?! This place is totally worth the extra few minutes to get out of my car and not be lazy! ;) The only thing is that it is a little pricey! What a great find! Was here the other day and got a Vanilla Lavender Latte with oat milk, and it was amazing! It had the perfect amount of lavender and did not overpower the coffee. Just visiting from Washington, but as a native to Seattle, I am a huge coffee junkee! I had an iced Americano with a little bit of cream and it was delicious! Their vibe is very cool and modern yet home-y. Service was great, barista was super friendly and talkative! One down side was that they close very early and I had to pack up my computer work so they could take all of the outdoor seating and lock it away. Their outdoor seating is cute, too! This coffeehouse is uber minimalist in decor and feel and while I love the concept, and even the space, it is hard for me to give it the 4th star. I ordered a cafe au lait and was nicely told that they have one size (12 oz. cup) and a choice of only whole and almond milk. When I am in Europe, it is pretty much whole milk or bust too. And while I often indulge when I am on vacation, I do prefer to at least have the option for low fat or skim milk. With all of the competition and choices in coffee purveyors, it is hard to understand why they don't have more options. The coffee purists may disagree and this place oozes authenticity in the purest coffee sense but I was a bit underwhelmed. My cafe au lait was delicious and made with a lot of care. Just not sure I would make this my go to place if I lived in the area. PS the deck is nice and you can sip on your cup of joe outside. But if the weather isn't good you're kind of stuck in take away mode because there isn't space to sit inside. read more

I was honesty looking for another place on my favorite list in the area and lucked up on this cute coffee shop. I am so glad I did! The menu was really simple and easy to order for whatever your heart desires. I asked for iced chai tea latte with almond milk, the helpful individual behind the counter explained they fresh brew the tea in order. I immediately thought to myself I will be back again. I love that they fresh brew the tea and it's not syrup poured in cup. The price was reasonable at 4 bucks for large with 1.00 extra for almond milk. It did few minutes to make the drink but the decor inside the coffee shop is eye appealing so you will not get bored. This review is just for the lavender matcha, milk and iced. So I'm very picky about my matcha - I've attended a tea/ matcha ceremony class in Kyoto and make my own at home with ceremonial grade matcha. I think they used the Lower end of the culinary grade matcha because it was barely flavored with grassy undertones (you can also tell by the color). I love the matcha flavor but this got overshadowed by the milk and light lavender flavor too. I haven't tried their coffee drinks yet. read more

Heard about their cars and coffee events they host every Saturday from a friend and made it a priority to make it to the cafe on a Saturday. Went to one of their events with a friend and it was a very fun experience. I'm both a fan of cars and coffee, so it was really enjoyable because their coffee is very good as well. Their roast is a very balanced blend and is honestly one of the better roasts I've had in the Phoenix area. It's very full. Their car garage theme is also very unique and fun. This is my favorite third wave coffee joint in the Valley. The First Place truck is a close second, but you have to wait 30 minutes for your drink unlike at Fourtill where you'll wait maybe 2 minutes. The coffee is fantastic - a caramely, nutty flavor - and they use the best oat milk on the market, Oatly. The staff is friendly and accommodating, something that can be hard to find among third wave hipster joints, and they are still requiring customers and staff to wear masks, indicating that they put people over profits and right wing ideology. I ordered their latte and their coffee is one of the most creamy coffee I have ever tasted. There is little to absolutely no acidity and the flavors are medium to light. It is great to enjoy during the fall and winter season when it is not hot because the Cafe is an outdoor stand. I would have given this place 5 stars, however, I don't think I'll be able to come during the spring or summer due to the heat. read more
