I was told if want fresh baked goods, you need to be there no later than five minutes before it opens. I was third in line, the rest of the people wrapped around the front of the building and around to the back. Once I got in the door, my order was soon taken, and then I stepped aside to wait. I watched people rushed to the counter when their name was called. Get their order and leave. From a glitch in a system to the best employee in the shop. I I found out after 30 minutes awaiting. My order was lost. I walked up and asked if my order was ready for pick yet and that's when she realized I never received my order. They looked at my receipt and proceeded to get my order ready. She turned around to bump into another worker and the whole order dropped to the floor. With a heavy sigh, she made up another box and handed it to me with a huge embarrassment and said it was on the house. They refunded my order and with an apology to me for waiting so long. Since then the service has been absolutely amazing. I've been back numerous times. read more

Really glad too see that Fox in the Snow is in Dublin! The other locations are far to get to if you don't live near downtown. I came around 2:30 on a Tuesday and it was almost empty. They close at 3. There were still a handful of people sitting inside. I came in to get a drip coffee. No baked goods for me that day. Staff was nice. They were cleaning up and putting things away. They have a parking lot in front but it's tiny. They also have a larger parking lot at the back that shares with J Liu's. But I had no idea what the parking was like so I parked at the library and walked over. I'll be back! read more

You order, they make it or hand it to you. Simple, right? I mean, I'd LOVE to knock a star off because they said they'd make their Icarus Sandwiches at their locations, and I haven't seen them yet. But the food they do have is so damn good I can't. But if they bring back Icarus sandwiches, man, it'd be six stars, because they would corner breakfast and lunch for me. New place in Dublin that I've heard good things about. Attempted to swing by around 11am on a Saturday and the line was out the door. It's not a large place but I still didn't feel a coffee shop is worth that type of line. Tried again around 2pm and we were able to park and walk inside. Pretty tight parking but there's more spaces in the back. Walking in you'll see some cute merch and then you can check out their menu and pastries. Everything looked great and we were greeted pretty quickly and were able to place our order right away. Ordered sugar-free vanilla lattes, a chocolate chip cookie, slice of banana bread, and what looked like a strawberry and cheese danish. The coffees were quite delicious, but they weren't very hot and they only had one size. The latte art was super cute though and I liked their little logo on everything. The pastries that we bought were all very yummy so I do recommend and look forward to coming back and trying out their sandwiches! We tried the egg sandwich and ham cheese sandwich! Egg sandwich is $10 but so worth it. The egg is soufflé like and very yummy. The ham cheese baguette has a thin layer of butter and delicious. It's pretty plain so would be good for kids who are picky. Baguette is good too. Nice texture. They have a wide range of pastries too. Savoury and sweet. Would like to try next time! This place is pretty incredible and obviously well loved by the locals. This place was packed, but the line moved quick. The assortment of house-made pastries were both beautiful and delicious. The everything danish was like the love child of an everything bagel and a croissant! If you like cinnamon rolls, the monstrosity they serve here would probably suit your fancy. It was a little too intense for me as it was filled with what appeared to be candied brown sugar. But I see the appeal. We tried a couple of other pastries that were also incredibly All the other reviews were talking about the breakfast sandwich so of course I tried one. It was pretty amazing. I'm not particularly a fan of mustard. But they added just a hint of mustard so it actually added an unexpected tanginess which added to the deliciousness! I also ordered a mocha which I must admit I was less impressed by. The drink itself was not quite chocolatey enough for my taste. But at least it was not overly sweet which I always appreciate. The cup was not all the way full though and that never feels good. The roast of the beans tasted a little on the burnt side to me. I know that is a taste some roasters go for. I'm not fond of it myself though. On the other hand, the chai latte was delicious! Get: blueberry galette, chocolate chip cookie, egg sandwich, and New Orleans coffee (other items may be great but that's I've had so far) Avoid: coming at peak morning breakfast time on weekends (line moves fast but seating limited at that time) Parking: parking in lot in front of cafe and in large lot behind cafe I absolutely love this cafe and went twice in one month! Came here on Saturday morning with a friend. They were pretty busy but the line moved fast. It was my first time so I wanted to try a few things. When you end up driving right past a FITS, you have to stop. It's the law. I knew this one was up here, but it's pretty new and I don't get up this way anymore. But my errands took me directly past it. They have their own little lot, plus there is plenty of city parking nearby. It was pretty busy at 9 AM on a weekday, but there was a lull in the line when I got there. I ordered immediately. I wanted more than a pastry, but I wasn't really in the mood for the egg sandwich, even though it's excellent. So I grabbed a ham baguette. They also had tomato ones that looked very good. Big section of a baguette, ham, and mayo. Simple and satisfying. And reasonably priced for the quality. I also got a coffee, because I'm a parent. The coffee was excellent as always. The wait was moderate, but they were pretty full inside and the line had filled back up. Service was friendly and efficient. The place is airy and bright. The pastry selections are astounding. Very busy cafe! I came by on a weekday at 9am and the line was almost out the door! They were however very fast and the line went quick. All the pastries look great! I ordered a Gluten Free breakfast sandwich and it was great. Very flavorful, had a hint of mustard which I don't think I've ever had on a breakfast sandwich but it worked. Cappuccino was good, not mind blowing or anything but presented well and a big win for me is it is in a ceramic mug instead of a paper cup. So excited there is a Fox in the Snow near me again! When I saw the fox on the side of a little brick building in Dublin my heart leapt. I love getting their eggs sandwiches every now and then. They have wonderful fresh baked daily desserts as well. This location was busy when we arrived. You order as you walk in and then find a seat. Someone will bring your food to the table when it is ready. We sat along the bar which faces the kitchen. There are large windows to watch the staff create delicacies that are their baked goods. It was fascinating to watch them make the pastries. So much dough!! read more

This place is cute, and centrally located in Old Dublin. Maybe a little too cute, because it is always packed. We tried to go two times previously, but saw no parking or seats and a long line. We popped in today (New Years Eve) on a whim at 2:00. It was still very busy, but we were able to park and sit. Unfortunately, this is a morning place, and they were nearly out of everything. We had chai lattes and breakfast sandwiches, both of which were very good. The few sweets that were left looked decadent, and I bet they are all fantastic. This location is terrible. There is little to no seating and it is small. They get the food out to you quickly and then do not help when there are multiple people lingering. I ordered to eat in today and there wasn't even a single seat for me. Two seats unoccupied with laptops just sitting there. Supposedly workers. This is also not a Wi-Fi or working location however there are people with computers, taking up all kinds of space. Fox in the Snow is pretty famous in this area and for a good reason. However, this also means they are ridiculous busy. We came around 9:30 AM on a Thursday, and the place was full. We managed to grab seats just because someone was leaving when we arrived, but we thought for a while we would have to take everything to go. That being said, it's pretty obvious why everyone comes here. The drinks are amazing, and the food is pretty tasty too. I usually don't like ham and cheese sandwiches, but I would definitely get one from here again. It was really salty though, so I would understand if that's not everyone's taste. The banana bread was pretty standard but nice and moist. I got the hot chocolate to drink, and it came with a giant marshmallow on the side which tasted sweeter than a normal one! The service was pretty good too, and there's a place where you can look in on the bakers which is always fun. My only concern is this place definitely isn't a normal relaxing cafe just because it's so loud. I wouldn't come here to work or anything, both because of the noise and because of lack of seating. read more

The best pastries I've ever had!! Better than anything I've had in Indianapolis. The strawberry one was my favorite. The flavor was great. The dough was perfect and flavorful. I ate every bit of it. When I visit somewhere from out of town, the one place I want to go is an independent coffee shop. Fox in the Snow did not disappoint. I heard the company was founded by two Blue Bottle alums, so I enjoyed my second-hand Blue Bottle latte experience. I think they forgot to add vanilla to my latte, but the espresso was so smooth and rich, I (for once in my life) did not mind. I'm not sure which oat milk they use, but it tasted like Minor Figures or maybe something crafted in-house. I ordered the egg sandwich. As a Southerner, I did have to ask for hot sauce and add some salt and pepper, but I have noticed unseasoned food is a delicacy of the Ohioans (my mother is from Ohio, I have earned the right to say this.) The ambiance was beautiful. The pastries looked absolutely gorgeous and I'm sure if I would have tried one, it would have given this place 5 stars. It was busy in there early on a Saturday morning! Artisan pastries. Latte options feel limited and just one size of latte but it was very good nonetheless. I ordered a pour over coffee but considering I got it in about ten seconds, I'm guessing it was drip coffee (it was still pretty good). That's my only complaint. Everything was delicious. The egg sandwich was one of the best I've had and I've had quite a few. Wife loved the biscuit and our son crushed the coffee cake. I visit Dublin several times a year and have tried many coffee shops. This was was my favorite. Kind of hard to find because they don't have great signage but that's about the only negative. They had some amazing pastries and the latte was very large and extremely good. You're not going to have huge selection of flavors for latte's but I'm good with that. I shared the cinnamon roll and egg sandwich with the hubby. The cinnamon roll is on the inside so outwardly it will not look like much, but it is delicious. The frosting is creamy and sweet. The egg sandwich has bacon and arugula. Two of my favorites! The egg I think was an inch thick. All nicely put together in a ciabatta roll. At the time of this review the Dublin location is new and busy. However, the staff was efficient, hardworking and kept everything moving. The bakers in the kitchen even looked like they were having a good time. The old building was simply decorated in white warehouse open ceiling concept so it can be a little loud when full. My wife and I have been wanting to come here ever since this location opened and finally did so two Saturdays ago. Sadly, however, we were very disappointed. Not sure where to start: - VERY loud. - Esthetics very basic n cold; certainly not inspiring. - Coffee good but nothing special. - Nothing vegan except can have oatmeal w oat or almond milk; but we were there at 12:25 n they stop taking orders for oatmeal at noon. - Staff while not cold were not friendly and welcoming; they were just doing their job. - The egg sandwich, which my wife had, was the one saving grace as she said it was very good; but same price even if don't want the bacon on it and person at register did not offer anything in its place. - For water, they have glass bottles that all patrons use. The bottles are just left at tables or where patrons get napkins and utensils, which also is right where the garbage is. The bottles are not cleaned or filled between patrons, so there are partially filled bottles here and also on some tables for other patrons to reuse. I asked for a cleaned, full bottle and was told they were all out. - Table tops not cleaned btwn patrons. We had high hopes but were very disappointed :( read more

Stopped here for coffee just because we liked the name and the fox logo was cute. Discovered they had really good coffee. And after staring at the pastries while waiting in line to order our coffee we ended up bringing home a brownie and a cookie. I'm so glad we did - that was one of the best brownies I've ever had in my life! I'm just sad that the nearest location is a 90 minute drive from home. I want this place to be good and many others claim that they love it, but I do not. Their espresso machine was down so no espresso drinks. This happens and is understandable, but the rest of our experience was below mediocre. We ordered a cinnamon bun and a ham baguette. I asked if both could be warmed up and the counter staff said no, they had no way to do so. The ham baguette was COLD and very salty. The cinnamon bun was cold, dry and fairly tasteless.
