Food was delicious- get takeout! Service was unbelievably terrible. Waiting 20 minutes to even be greeted. By the time server finally came we were ready to order our entire meal. She said she would only get our drink order and asked what we wanted to drink, we ordered a glass of wine and a beer. She said she didn't know what they have and she "was just going to bring us water". When she finally came back we asked about the wine & beer and we ordered one appetizer and one pizza. We waited 30 minutes for any of those items to arrive. The app, drinks, and pizza all arrived at the same time. The whole night it was as if she was avoiding all of her tables. She was inside most of the night and when she would finally come out people would try to wave her down. Most of the time she would just ignore whoever was trying to get her attention. It wasn't even that busy. Once we finished eating we waved her down to ask for the check, we then had to wait over 10 minutes to get closed out. If I was only reviewing the food - 5stars! I love Fralo's!! Best pizza in San Antonio - fresh ingredients and not greasy at all. As a person who doesn't love crust, I eat all the pizza crust here. It's so good!!! I love the vibes of the location with the outdoor seating under the huge trees, live music on the weekend, and BYOB policy. My group ordered 3 different pizzas pictured below! 1) Mediterranean - I love the artichoke hearts and the texture they add to this pizza. The sun dried tomatoes enhance the pizza sauce. Vegetarian friendly and honestly you wouldn't even be able to tell. 2) game time - a twist on meat lovers pizza with a slight spice to it. Less meat than a meat lovers, but I loved eating a slice or two of this and not feeling extremely heavy after it! I loved it!!! 3) grant's pear - sweet and savory and unique. Recommend if you are feeling adventurous or if you like a little sweet flavor on your pizza. I've been here before during the week and service was quick and courteous! Caution on the weekend though because they are super busy and you'll wait to be seating and probably wait longer for your pizza. I came here with some friends on a Sunday afternoon and the pizza was fantastic! We ordered the sampler pizza, which allowed us to try 4 different types of pizza. All of them were delicious! If I had to choose a favorite, I would go with the game time. It was a little spicy and loaded with sausage and venison pepperoni.....basically all things yummy and great! The service was on par for what you should expect for a fresh baked pizza joint. They had outdoor seating, with shade provided by trees and umbrellas. The only negative is the restrooms. We picked a table that ended up being in just the right place to pick up all the smells, so be careful where you decide to sit. read more

Decided to try this place because it had good reviews. Unfortunately, it didn't meet the 4star rating. The customer service wasn't on point. We waited a few minutes for plates and utensils. This place is perfect for groups! The few times I've been here, the service is never pushy which allows you the ability to sit, enjoy Texas weather and talk with friends. We had a large group and got several apps to try. I sampled the goat cheese and the calamari. Goat cheese was the appetizer winner for sure. I wouldn't order the calamari again because the breading was a little odd for my tastes. As far as the pizza goes, I've only tried the Pear/Prosciutto and Mediterranean. Both are delicious but my favorite is the pear/prosciutto... yummmm. We ordered 1 large pizza for 3 people (2 women and 1 man) and it wasn't quiet enough. (Had to take a piece from one of our other friend's orders.) If we hadn't eaten any appetizers I'm pretty sure we would have needed to order another pizza. I was craving pizza and have heard a TON of good things about Fralo's, so I decided to give it a try. Their menu is fantastic offering something for everyone- salads, pasta, pizza, wine, and beer. The inside of Fralo's is quite small, so my group sat outside in their covered area. It was a bit chilly, but surrounded by laughter made it feel a little less cold. There was a live band and that made my experience feel intimate, even though I was surrounded by 60 people. I couldn't decided what I wanted. I hadn't tried Fralo's before so I really wanted to try a little of everything. They sampler pizza is exactly that! You get to choose 4 types of pizza for one price. You get two slices of each type of pizza. I LOVE this concept because it also allows you to share super easily. I tried the Sponako, the Little Hottie, the BOM, and the Pozzi. I don't know which one I like best because all of them were absolutely delightful. The other thing I enjoyed was the fact that you can get quinoa crust and wheat crust. I showed up pretty late so they had already ran out, but for future reference I definitely want to try an alternative crust. Loved my experience here and will definitely be back!! read more

The service was horrible the entire evening, slow and forgetful. I'm not sure why the manager/supervisor was upset the night I went, but the she told a young man on the staff to turn the heater off while we were warming up there. When we tried to stop him, he told us that he was told to. When the manager came out and started yanking the chairs inside, I asked her why it was necessary to turn the heater off, with a harsh tone she said that the staff is all kids that need to go to school so she needs us to leave. I thought they were open another hour so I was surprised to hear that. I asked for a clarification (she never stopped moving around me) she said "no we close now" while walking off, again with a tone. My physician has me on a low FODMAP diet, if you know, you know. I came to meet friends, not planning to eat (esp at a pizza restaurant, where everything has the good stuff like garlic, onion, lactose or wheat ). I arrived and realized I hadn't ate all day so I started asking Carlos questions about the menu. He went and asked the chef if the pesto had onion or garlic, it did. If the wings had wheat or onion or garlic, they did. And so on and so fourth, probably about four different trips to the kitchen (I reallllllly hate being that girl, so I have been avoiding all eating out until this). However, he was so nice about it and didn't seem upset by the extra work at all. Finally the chef, Sarah, comes out to talk to me. She was so nice and asked me what I can have and what my restrictions are. We finally settled on a GF crust, olive oil for the dressing, light cheese (they use a 3 cheese blend that are all hard which has lower lactose than soft cheeses), prosciutto and a light balsamic drizzle. Yalllll, it was SO GOOD. My friends all had a slice and loved it too. When I brought it home, my husband loved it. I would have eaten the whole thing right there but limited myself to two slices (just in case). I will say, 10 hours later, the food caused me no issues. So if you are low FODMAP (or even if you aren't ‍) this was truly a good eating out option and experience.
