Let me start off by saying that this is a great place to order out from. I highly recommend getting their pizza, it's always delicious. There are several italian-american restaurants in town, but I would have to say that this is my favorite. Sure, you could go to another place that really "wows" you every once in a while, but this place is consistent, and that's a great characteristic to have. I'm a huge fan of eggplant, prepared any which way, and I know I'm not alone when I say that eggplant parmigiana is a must-have for any pizza place. Let me just say that these guys nailed it. It was a little heavy on the cheese, which I'm not complaining about, but it will sit like a rock in your stomach for a few hours. Out of my experiences here, my biggest tip would be to order any of the parmigiana dishes by the platter, rather than on a hero, it ends up being all bread. You could easily get a couple of rolls and make two sandwiches from that one dish. Trust me, they give you enough. Mozzarella sticks were standard, not really worthy of standing out in you memory, but definitely not a disappointment either. Garlic knots are often looked over as part of the cuisine in most places, but I feel like they are an effective gauge of a restaurants attention to detail. A lot of times, the remainders of the knots will end up tossed out with the paper plates and the pizza crusts from those people in your group who don't know how to properly give a slice the respect it deserves by seeing it out until the end. These garlic knots will know no such fate. But I digress... I unfortunately do have a negative mark from my last experience. My lovely companion had a simple request; she wanted to swap out the sauce on her side of penne with another sauce from the menu. It seemed like a simple request, but it was quickly denied. They wouldn't even budge on their decision after we offered to pay for the different sauce, which they do sell separately. That immediately raised my eyebrow, as well as my skepticism for the meal to follow. That being said, I will not fault the food for the inhospitality from one staff member on one occasion. read more

I called one night, looking for delivery, distraught between shrimp parm hero and chicken francaise hero. The friendly worker who took my order suggested an off-the-menu shrimp francese hero w mozzarella. Despite the certain pending heart attack, that was one of those sandwiches that you'll always remember.....in a good way, like the girl who got away....you know who you are. So take a chance on that item, or just go w something on the menu. I've never been disappointed with this place. Major plus for the delivery man having a credit card machine on hand. If you're looking for big, flavorful, thick-sliced pizza, this is the place to go! They have more varieties of pizza than I've ever seen in NY. Each and every pizza in their case is beautiful and its hard to make a choice once you begin to look at them all. I've had their margarita, eggplant, salad slice and black olives and tomatoes. I really like certain menu items....the tiramisu (so light and rich simultaneously) the margarita slice with balsamic glaze(mouth watering). My boyfriend loves the garlic knots and buffalo chicken slice(pretty much any specialty slice) personally I've always enjoyed all their pasta dishes but have been disappointed. by their regular slices. The 2 for 1 dinners on Tuesday and Thursday can be awesome depends on what you get,choose wisely.... I have had great luck with some of the non italian dishes but others have been not so good. Two hours for delivery. I called for a pie, a hero, and an app combo. Then I was told he'd be here "within the hour". I don't know what these people think within the hour mean, but two hours is far too long for delivery. I called twice to find out where my food was and all I got was "I'll check the ticket time, but he just left with the food". So a delivery that I called in at 530 left at 645, and at 715? We've ordered pizza and pasta dishes here a few times for delivery and once for pick up. It's one of our go-to spots for pizza and Italian food. Service: A The delivery is usually a 45 minutes to an hour because they are busy most nights we order from here. Even though it takes a while, the drivers are always friendly and the food comes hot. They allow you to put the tip on your receipt if you pay over the phone, which helps when you don't have cash laying around the house. Food: A- My favorite item on their menu is the grandma's pizza - thin crust pizza with chunky tomatoes, mozzarella scattered throughout and fresh garlic and basil. YUM! One piece fills you up but two is nice if you are very hungry. I usually order a greek salad with this (I know, weird combo). The feta cheese, grape leaves, and veggies in the salad are always fresh, crisp, and delicious! Their homemade balsamic dressing is also perfect. My fiancee loves their baked ziti and Italian Bread. We used to order their garlic knots, but they are mostly greasy. Lately we get the Italian bread instead and it's warm, soft, and delicious! I ordered a penne caprese dish last time because I was pizza'd out. This dish was penne pasta, garlic, olive oil, tossed with tomatoes and mozzarella cheese. The mozzarella on top of this dish had a funky texture (almost rubbery) and the tomatoes tasted canned. I was kind of surprised, because all their other items taste so fresh. I visit this Pizzaria several times a year when I'm in the area and it consistently has the best pizza from Manhattan to Montauk. I grew up in Brooklyn until I was 16 so I know good pizza!!! I'm not really sure how suffolk county pizza is but this is pretty average compared to nyc/queens pizza. The portion size is great but the cheese-sauce ratio really needs some work. I felt like I was eating straight up bread and cheese at one point. There's not that many options for delivery but this place definitely sufficed. Very quick delivery! 5/5. Not the cleanest place in town. So noisy. Even worse, the staff is rude and inattentive. One of my all time worst experiences. Barely a three. We have been going to this place for years. The more they renovate and expand, the worse the food gets. Ordered a pizza tonight, despite the fact that I have been a bit disappointed with the last two or three we've gotten there. This was the worst yet--enough salt on it for the week for me and the crust was dry and like cardboard. Not enjoyable and $18 for a plain large pizza. I am sick and tired of paying $$$ for a pizza delivery that is always COLD greasy and burnt. When you call you get the sweet voice of some girl who you think cares about what you are ordering. Not so. You explain thin crust, half pepperoni half cheese. Sounds easy to me. Then she tells you within the hour. Ok no problem. The delivery comes 1 hour and fifteen minutes later. You take the lukewarm box from the delivery guy, give him a 5 dollar tip and hope for the best. No!No! not again. Thick cold burnt, greasy pizza. This has happened the last 5 times I've ordered. Why? I went here for their new breakfast and then have visited the ice cream side a few times after from picking up lunches and dinners. Every time I go it's different... There is no consistency whatsoever. I've had my coffee made by different people every time and each time I order it tastes worse and worse, and I'm ordering the same drink! The people working there do not seem trained properly in how to make good coffee. I've had ice cream once where it was crystallized and too cold, and my boyfriend got an italian ice that was wayyy too sweet and almost soupy!
