Wonderful italian food! We drive all the way here from Henderson to get takeout (usually 45-60 mins round trip), and it is well worth the drive! The food is consistently amazing and cooked perfectly. Their pasta is always the right consistency which is a rare thing at most places. Very large portions that usually last a few meals. Would highly recommend for takeout or catering. We recently ordered catering for a graduation gathering and were very pleased with the quality as well as the amount of food received. In addition to the wonderful food, everyone I have come in contact with that works there has great customer service. Last night I arrived to pick up my order and had to wait an extra 5 mins than promised, but the staff were very apologetic for even a very short wait time and offered a 2L gallon of soda. A hidden Italian gem tucked away in a unassuming strip mall!!! I know Vegas has dozens of takeout Italian joints but this one is worth a visit!! We placed a HUGE order 15 minutes before closing (I'm so sorry!!) and they were more than accommodating. When we went to pick I up, I was greeted by the most friendly staff. I believe the couple who spoke with us owns the restaurant and I assume the cashier was their son! I was so surprised how kind they were despite us being THOSE customers It seemed like a tight knit family operation. They were kind enough to even give us free drinks while waiting for the food! Another customer walked in and told us this is his favorite pizza in town. As for the food, I was surprised how good it was!! I feel like pizza restaurants just throw some sauce on noodles and call it a day. All our dishes were really hot, fresh, flavorful and massive portions! I got almost 3 meals out of my Penne Vodka. I tried my friends Rollitini and I recommend everyone try!! Fried eggplant with cheese?! If you're thinking of ordering Italian definitely consider franks! Great little hidden gem. A friend and I each ordered small pizzas with the intention of having leftovers. The small was enough for three meals for me! Homemade, fresh, delicious and a wonderful family owned business. I LOVE supporting Mom and Pop shops! Excellent service as well. Had the angel hair pasta, which my wife loved (she asked the butter sauce to be brown butter, which the restaurant did nicely), and I had the baked ziti which was excellent, except they need to add sausage as an optional addition. We were driving around looking for places to eat and decided to go to chicken shack next door, when we went inside and saw how many people were waiting we decided to go next door to Frank's and I'm so so glad we did, we were skeptical at first because there was no customers in there. So we ordered chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, small half cheese half pepperoni and a large shrimp and scallop pizza, the mozzarella sticks was good, chicken fingers was ok, the pizzas was amazing! Pizza is very good but the subs were terrible. The Italian sub was on a crummy bun with low grade meat and a overly tangy salad dressing. It should be vinagear and olive oil. Meat ingredients were a joke. The Philly steak was even worse. It was a flavorless mystery, rubbery meat in a oversized grocery store type bun. They make no effort to make a good sub. I short changed them last time I feel, giving 4 out of 5 stars cause we weren't in New York. Truth is I have more visits than check ins and the food AND service has always been phenomenal and isn't that what we look for? It amazes me how attentive to the guests the young guys at this establishment are. I've read it's a new owners and I'm more than certain it's also a family owned set up. I ordered from this restaurant through doordash today. My order never arrived. I immediately called the restaurant and let them know; and they said they would contact doordash and have my money refunded because they deliver their own orders. When I had no notification from by 5 pm, I called doordash. The restaurant had NOT contacted them. When doordash called the restaurant, they denied any knowledge of that earlier conversation; and LIED and said I accepted the order when I most certainly did not! Pizza was phenomenal, arguably one of the most authentic in town. Came in late but they let me order so I'm grateful for that. Didn't need much service but they were very kind in guiding me through their menu not being Italian myself. Cannoli was delicious and so was their tiramisu which has a slight more coffee flavor than what I've had before, so that was special. Nothing beats good food from a mom and pop restaurant. read more
