The micheladas are the best you will ever have and will bring you back for more. i recommend the guarache which i think is the best thing on the menu. Decent place to grab some affordable Mexican food. The place isn't the cleanest environment but you kind of know what you're getting into when you walk into a place like this. The food was good and came out hot. But... it literally took over 45 minutes for our orders to come out as we watched multiple tables served when they had come in well after us. I felt bad for our server because aside from her multiple apologies, she looked like she felt so bad for our wait. I have to say one and one only good thing about this place. The sasa was great. Let's talk about the food. I have been to a lot of Mexican places and this makes me want tast and spice from that place. What I got here was this. I ordere the carne asada as always. The size was great. So big it took me a little time to finish it. It was not full of flavor as I had hoped it would have been. Meat was a little over cooked and with out flavor. Might have been old who knows. I think over all this is just another plain Mexican food restaurant. I won't return here as I expect a lot more living in Southern California. We've been here several times and each time we enjoyed the food. The chips and salsa are really good. They also give you some beans with it which are good as well. The prices are very reasonable and the potions are a nice size. The service can be a bit slow but everyone is friendly. They bring red and green salsa with your food. Both salsas are super good. So I was craving tacos so I saw this place and a lot of decent reviews I went and ordered one taco de lengua, asada, chorizo, and buche the tacos were pretty small and expensive like 1.75 each and the sauce wasn't hot which is a problem for me it was more tomate. My husband got the Freddy's burrito which was good but not Mexican style. They serve chips and salsa with a side of bean dip when we arrived which was my favorite lol. We ordered the infamous Michelada which hands down was delicious. But over all it is expensive the burrito was like 8 dollars!! I would probably go back to try something different. The cocktail de camaron & camarones al mojo de ajo are my go to's but the chile relleno is also amazing!!! The beans taste straight from the jolla! If I went by the rating I probably would've missed out on some great food. Yeah its a bit pricey, but it's worth it. I got the chicken enchiladas with green sauce. My husband asked for a small one and she said they only had one size which was a Large Drink cup. Food is very good but the service is really slow considering how many girls are working there, all seem to be behind the counter or talking to other guys but not making any effort to serve us. Came here a few weeks ago. Started off great with chips salsa and a michilada. Then came the food........... Chilli Relleno was still cold/frozen in the middle. It was replaced with three idgaf carne asada tacos thrown together to shut us up. Unfortunately that wasn't the end. My burrito was half lengua and tripas. The lengua was still cold and the tripas tasted awful. Old cold and chewy. I/we had been here before and were happy to find a place outside of Pomona but now you can bet I/we will never be back.
