I told him I am just looking around Honda's cars, and he insisted me to tell him what cars I wanted to look at in order to have me in the showcase room. I did not have this kind of experience with Audi Bmw Mini, and Honda was unique! Freeway Honda should be renamed Dave Wilson's Honda House of Broken Promises!! I recently purchased a 2025 Ridgeline. I found the vehicle I wanted online myself. When I began walking the lot, a salesman made a beeline to intercept me. He was a nice enough guy, he walked me over to where the Ridgelines were lined up. I started looking them over, looked at the window stickers for options, MSRP, etc. I noticed that there was a separate Dealer sticker with Dealer Add-Ons: Ceramic paint protection, Vehicle Alarm, etc. The first thing I said out loud was, "There is no f----ing way I am going to pay for these ad-ons". During the price haggling, I negotiated three items to be included: mud flaps, cargo hooks, and cargo dividers. Being a working man, it was important to me that these accessories would be installed on a Saturday. "No problem" I was told. When Saturday became a problem, I turned to Sales Manager Joe C. to intervene. I made it clear to Joe that I could return on Saturday at 10:00 and had to leave by noon. "No problem" I was told. Broken Promise #1- Add-On Fees. I was reassured by not one, not two, but three Freeway Honda salespeople (two salespeople and one sales manager not to worry, those items and fees would be eliminated. Guess what happened in Finance when signing the papers? Freeway tries to slip in a Vehicle Alarm $900+!!! Broken Promise #2 - Saturday Accessory Installation. When contacted by the Parts Department that the items had arrived, I was told that the Accessories Installer only worked Monday thru Friday 8:00 to noon. Broken Promise #3 -Two Hour Installation. When returning on a Saturday to have three minor accessories installed, I was told I would have to leave my vehicle for 5+ hours, not the two hours the Sales Manager insisted it would take. Amir is the best salesman I've ever had. He was the polar opposite of the average salesman. He was very honest and worked out a crazy amazing deal for me after being so patient. I kept going back and forth as I was getting quotes from other places but something in my gut told me Amir was being the most truthful, and he held true to his words. What he told me over the phone was exactly what I got, not one cent off. Also, I'm a woman and a first time buyer at that. I've been disrespected time after time at other Honda dealerships. They would either be condescending or straight up rude if I gave any idea that I wouldn't purchase (I'm cheap and prepared, def not spending a stupid amount of money in this economy on a damn car lol). I received an email from them a few months ago as my lease was ending, saying that I could get a new lease for the same monthly price if I turned mine in early. I was assured this was their offer in several emails before I came in to take them up on it. When I did, selecting the same model car, by the time the lease was set up it was now $60 more a month than before, and they told me it could not be done for any less. I guess I could have walked out the door at that point, but I think I didn't realize how I had been manipulated, as the person who had set this up and who I had the appointment with was not who was there to keep his promise. Maybe all car dealers run scams like this and it's on me that I fell for this, but I think people should be warned of this kind of dishonesty. I will not be returning here. I feel like I am a cheater. Nobody has ever touched my Honda other than the dealership my husband used to work at. But, that dealership is a bit far to travel to after work. I was going to Vegas with some friends and wanted to make sure I was good to go. I had a 3pm appointment during the week. I showed up on time and was told it be about 2.5 hours. Luckily I was out in less than and hour and half. I was able to use the Yelp check in offer that took off about $10 from my oil change My service advisor was friendly. Went to get a car was talking with Toby and he said we had a deal when we got to the dealer ship some older big white man with a country accent- I don't remember his name- but he took over our deal and wouldn't stick to our agreed apon price that we made with Toby. He talked down to me and my family like we were kids and didn't understand how it worked- had family member who worked at a dealer ship my whole life- and we would be getting the car for the already agreed up price in a text from Toby. I also let this man know that I didn't want any of the fancy tracking and alarm phone key systems because why would I want it if my phone gets taken. I now know to never buy a Honda from here, they advertise MSRP online but hit you with the markup like it's just expected though there are several dealers in the US not charging markups, just socal dealers like to take advantage of people. I'm taking note of the dealers that are doing this so as to never buy a vehicle from them. I would rather fly to a neighboring state, go up to Roseville Honda in Norcal, and drive one back saving $5k. This is straight price gouging. This review is for the service department I have been a customer of Freeway Honda for a few years, and on each visit, I've had a different advisor. My recent experience with advisor Oscar Moguel was sadly, disappointing. #1. He didn't contact me to inform me that my vehicle was ready. After waiting for 7 hours (he promised about 3 hours), I had to call the front desk to find out that my car was ready for pickup. When I informed Oscar, he claimed to have sent me a text message at 12 PM, which I showed him that I never received. If there is no response via text, basic customer service etiquette dictates that you call your client back so they are not needlessly waiting. #2. Oscar did not ensure that my car was washed/cleaned. Both the exterior and interior of the car were left uncleaned. #3. They did not check my tire pressure, a low-pressure warning signal appeared just a few hours after the service. Unfortunately, my experience is a clear example of how not to perform basic satisfactory customer service and consequently, they have lost a loyal customer for good. read more

I don't usually write reviews but these guys really gave me the ick. This review is for the service department. I took my 2020 accord in for a routine oil change and checkup. Oil change went fine as far as I know, but they were stating that my brakes and tires needed replacing, when I knew for a fact that they did not. Came back a few months later for another oil change and lo and behold, the wear numbers on my tires and brakes were within normal limits (and somehow higher than before). If you're going to take advantage of your customers, you could at least be consistent about it. Won't be coming back here again. read more

This dealership completely lied to me. I told them that I had a quote for a car from a different dealer and asked if they could beat it. We went back and forth with some clarifying details and I even provided them with a complete dollar for dollar breakdown of the quote (car, taxes, fees, accessories, etc.) They told me that they could match my previous offer, and with a rebate, they could actually beat the offer. I told them let's make the deal happen. The next day, I get a call from the GM who tells me that they cannot do the deal they promised me. When I asked why, he could not give me a straight answer. When I pushed the issue, he became very rude and started insulting me. I attached the message from the salesperson, you tell me if that is clear or not. Save yourself the hassle and go to Auto Nation Honda in Costa Mesa (or Norm Reeves Honda in HB for that matter). Rarely do I ever leave a review, but yesterday (7/20) my experienced with two Freeway Honda employees is worth mentioning. My wife and I were on the 55 heading towards the beach when all of a sudden our car started making a strange sound. We realized that some clasps that hold the bumper and piece that goes around our driver tire had detached. This caused the piece to hang about 3' off our vehicle and sporadically hit the side of our vehicle when driving over 30 mph. Not good!! It was 3:40 pm on a Saturday when this occurred and luckily we were able to navigate to Freeway Honda within 15 minutes. 5 minutes before they closed and Luis Gonzalez (Parts) told me he'd try to help. All I was expecting was for the piece to be removed. He had a technician (Martin Pena [s/p]) come out and begin removing the piece. In the meantime, Luis looked up the part and found it in stock. Martin gladly said, "if we have it, I'll take care of it now" and he did. Came to look at a 2021 Honda accord sport 2.0T price seems average from any other 2.0t but there aren't many for sale drive up 2 hrs to look at the car but once finally seeing it in person it had been crashed on the front end had door dings and scratches everywhere we asked if there would be anything they could do to fix it or work on the price and they straight up said no we can't ! They said it was priced really well witch was a joke they said it's priced higher than other cars in the area because it has a clean car fax and one owner so basically just because the carfax is clean and one owner even if it looks like a abused car atleast the carfax is clean and one owner didn't even want to waste our time we left went to another dealer about 30mins away and picked up almost the exact same car just lower miles for 1100 more but did not have any scratches dents minor crashes also one owner clean carfax look at the pictures for the damages to the car I didn't even get to the driver side to see the damages of the car wasn't even worth it ! definitely don't recommend anyone to come here ! read more
