This has been the worst customer service experience I've had to date, and it's clear they do not care about their customers. I brought my car in with a completely flat tire. I had been refilling it over two days to confirm there were no visible nails or tears. I explained all of this when I arrived and was told they would take a look. The technician removed the tire, couldn't find the issue, reinflated it, and said it was ready--suggesting it might have been a mounting issue. I told them it wasn't and that the tire needed to be submerged in water to locate a small puncture. The service advisor said they don't do that and that I'd need to bring the car back the following week because they're closed on Saturdays. The tire went flat again the same day. We texted them Monday morning, and instead of acknowledging the issue or their mistake, they simply responded, "We're booked today and tomorrow," without offering alternatives. After I followed up, they said Wednesday would work and added that loaner cars are booked a month out. The response was cold and showed zero empathy--clearly a "leave us alone" message. I explained that we drive our young children in this car and that I'm genuinely concerned about the tire failing at highway speeds. This is a simple issue to diagnose and fix. If you can't trust them to handle something this basic, I would never trust them with more serious service. We are usually very patient and empathetic, and I hate writing negative reviews. Teslas are a good everyman's EV, but I didn't particularly care for the Tesla's look, either interior, exterior, or brand, nor did I appreciate their unsafe take on FSD that will almost assuredly go up in price. Cadillac also offered a conquest rebate for Lexus owners that offset some of the pricing differences. Despite this, I resigned myself to purchase a Juniper, until the fellows at SC Cadillac helped me to test drive an Optiq that also met my needs. Art answered all my questions, even pulling in his coworkers to help to answer questions about charging systems. While I enjoyed driving the vehicle, I had to negotiate the price differential between a Juniper, while also warding off my wife's interest in (another) Lexus, the new ES line coming out. And I didn't want another Lexus (sorry, sweetheart). Denis was able to help me close the transaction to avoid this conflict with a matching price to Dublin's while also providing accessories I needed to make the car usable for our family. To close that day, Art even drove me back to my house to get my checkbook, since it was so late that my wife took the vehicle I came into the dealership with home. Because of this team's efforts, my wife is now happily driving our Lexus while the Cadillac Optiq is my daily driver for commuting. Recently purchased a brand new vehicle from Steven's Creek Cadillac and want to share our whole experience. We walked in originally while shopping around for a vehicle we might want. While we knew what we wanted in terms of size, number of passengers, featurs, etc., there were still things that we were 100% on. Like whether we wanted to stay with a gas engine, hybrid or full EV. We also were trying to figure out whether we were going to buy new or used. We have also done our homework and knew what we could afford, how much down and have been pre approved by the bank for a loan. So we were met by a sales associate ans showed us around. Looked at a few vehicles and went on test drives. The associate didn't know all the ins and outs of the vehicle and the differences in trims and packages but sadly, we actually anticipated it as it was the same thing with other dealerships we've gone to. So anyway,we go on our test drive in the same model vehicle we were interested in but not exactly the spec/trim we wanted but we were able to leave with more insights about the vehicle we had in mind. We continue with our shopping with other brands and honestly, even other Cadillac dealerships that had used inventory of the same car The associate took our contact information down and would continiously check on us every couple of days or so. (again, standard for most dealerships it seems) After a few more test drives and some back and forth chats with the associate, we started leaning towards buying at this dealership and buying new. Next time we drop in, we were told that they just had the vehicle we wanted in the exact spec but it had just sold. We were advised to just order it online and assign them as the selling dealership and was told the whole process takes 2-2.5 months. Before even bargaining prices or anything, we were told that they will be giving it to us at MSRP. They had reached their quarterly goals but wanted to add in some more to end stronger and for their next allocation to be bigger. At least that's what we were told. We didn't even know what it meant before. So we thought, okay, things kinda are lining up and took it as a sign to go for it. And that we did. Ordered online, assigned Steven's Creek as the selling dealership, brought in a cashier's check for the deposit/reservation and thought okay, 2-2.5 months later, we should be getting our vehicle. We were also told that the either the associate or the GM will be in contact with us with updates. To our surprise, thats where all communications stopped. We didn't hear back and after the 2 months have passed, we started messaging the associate back asking for updates. We get a response and said, our order didn't make the cut for their monthly allocations or whatever and maybe the month after. We were told that the GM was going to check on it and get back to us. Surprise surprise! That didn't happen either. I had to keep following up with the associate for updates to even hear or anything. We didn't have an order number, confirmation or whatever on hand and couldn't even check directly with Cadillac since we didn't have this info. Finally, I believe this was towards month 3, and after following up multiple times, we finally get an order number and just tracked it directly from Cadillac. Our frustration with this dealership was already really high at this point. We have been just tracking our order down online and still not hearing anything from the dealership. We saw that finally, the order went through, saw that the build started, and when it was done and was in shipping. Finally heard from the dealership and an associate told us the car was almost ready and we can come sign paperwork and stuff. So we came in and met with the sales manager. He was hard selling the additional 3rd party extended warranty, not the actual GM warranty. We told him that we might pass for now as it's something that can be added later on anyway but he was still trying real hard, which we get since he was probably trying to hit a goal or commission. What was irritating to us was he would cut us off as we voiced out out reasons and corcerns and spoke on top of us. At the end, we ended up declining the extended warranty. Whole signing the paperwork, we noticed that the apperance protection package was selected. We wold him we didn't want it but he insisted that it's standard for luxury vehicles in their inventory and and when we said we didn't want it at all, he insisted that we agreed to it with the previous associate we were dealing with. As I was in the middle of saying we declined all optional things, he cut me off, stood up, went to another room and he brought out the last associate's notes which was basically scribbles on a piece of paper that only says "MSRP + appearance package + taxes & fees. Something like that. I can't remember exactly. It was getting heated, I was beyond annoyed and I can see that my wife was also pissed. read more

This is my first time in this Cadillac dealership. I used go to St. Claire Cadillac before they closed down, and I have experiences with Fremont Cadillac, Walnut Creek Cadillac and Dublin Cadillac. My go-to has been Dublin Cadillac, which falls under the same California Car Group as the Stevens Creek Cadillac. Decided to give Stevens Creek Cadillac a shot since it's closer to home. I came in for diagnostics which is $275 - I needed help determining the root cause of the power steering issue with my 2014 Cadillac SRX. Service Advisor was Sam, very friendly and knowledgeable. Since the diagnostics will take most of the day, I was able to go home through the complimentary shuttle, where the driver Kiran was very friendly! I took the 1 star off because I was disappointed that the technician didn't do a write up on his analysis/diagnostics. I figured this would be standard since I did pay for the diagnostics. I decided not to proceed with the work, but I am also disappointed that I did not receive a written estimate on their recommended fix. All I have to go through is my conversations with Sam. I returned to ask Sam for the write up - he did go to the back and try to get a write up, but since I already paid and the case was closed, there was nothing else he could do. Cristal(?) was my saleswoman and was very helpful, friendly, and made the buying process so easy. The CX-5 was priced so low that there was no need for me to haggle and she was well aware of this. They could not match my Carmax trade-in quote which was fine. They were very easygoing and accommodating with payment methods and timeline. I wish they had caught the disconnected wiper fluid reservoir but the CX-5 was still under warranty so I got that fixed at Capitol Mazda for free. Otherwise no issues. Everything from waiting 20 minutes for someone to even acknowledge the 7 people waiting in the customer service area to the attitude given by the customer service representative made this a very poor experience. My suggestion is to retrain this location on customer service. When I came to pick up my vehicle, the customer service department person began to lecture me that the work on the vehicle was completed when it actually wasn't. I had to get the work completed in Fremont instead which was a significantly better experience. Instead of engaging in an argument, I chose to get my vehicle and leave. I am still in disbelief and could not believe the customer service individual wanted to argue with me. The other area they could improve in is better communication with their customers in regard to when to pick up their vehicles. The drive to Fremont is less convenient, but I would rather spend my money there and get quality customer service instead of going through another experience like this. read more

We recently bought our car in August. Our sales person David was awesome. He reached out to me after inquiring on the car and got it ready for us to see before we even arrived on site. We test drove it and had a lot of questions. David told us it was only his 5th day on the job and that he doesn't have much knowledge of the car but that he could look everything up for us. He did exactly that. He answered all of our questions correctly by looking them up instead of just bs'ing us with an answer. Super kind and friendly would give the sales person 5 stars. Best salesman out there on that floor. The purchase process was terrible and had to do it online. We ended up signing twice because something in the system was incorrect. We bought the car kind of late so the detail shop was already closed. Mike (general manager) promised us a detail, a full tank of gas, and an extra key as the car only had one. We were told to come back in 2 days and everything would be taken care of. This is when the dealership failed in communicating. Nobody was returning our calls. We showed up and they said we were too late and to go back in the morning. Nobody even checked to see if the key was in stock. They still had to send it out to Michigan to get the key cut. The only reason it got sent out because I would call consistently and ask for an update. We didn't end up getting the key, detail, and tank of gas until a whole month later, still haven't received the cut key. Communication was either super terrible or they were making it so difficult that they wanted us to give up on the key, detail and gas. After Mike bragged about how amazing his service shop was and how this dealership is the best in the business, I WILL NOT BE RETURNING OR RECOMMENDING. read more

Unfortunately, ever since the previous service manager moved to Fremont Cadillac, the service here has been downhill. The new manager is highly unprofessional, and customer experience doesn't seem to be a priority anymore. When my brand-new car's AC wasn't working, I brought it in for repairs. They assured me it was fixed, but two months later, the same issue resurfaced. I returned to get it diagnosed again and requested a loaner car, but they refused to provide one. Despite me reminding them multiple times--both over the phone and via text to Samuel Rogers and Liz--that I'd need a loaner while they repaired my car, I was told there wouldn't be one available for the next two months! I had no choice but to cancel the repair and take my business elsewhere. It's disappointing to see such disregard for customers' time and money. Today i called this dealer and asked to speak with an internet sales. I spoke with mike which was nice and transferred me to Phil and that's when the call went south. When he came on the phone he did not identify himself until i asked for his name. Didn't really want to speak too much except want me to go in. He eventually answer a few questions. I gave him the spec of what i wanted and asked if he can sent me the comparisons on two models except he said for me to go in and he will hand it to me in person. Super unprofessional. He eventually answer told me the reason is that once he sent it he will never see me again and i will go shopping. What a jerk and he should not have a job there selling GM top Brand. Regardless of what he though serving clients is the up most important representing the Brand and his attitude should not be tolerated. As sales peoples we should have faith in humanity just because there's a bad apple here and there does not mean every one is bad. I wanted a car and i will get a car just not with unprofessional sales peoples. July 1st. After purchasing the vehicle in March and making attemp to see where my License plate was. I received the registration with a DMV said the Fee was Paid on May 6 and i still have not gotten my Plate. This is an absolute disappointment to deal with this Dealer. I highly suggest taking your cars to Fremont Cadillac for service as they are very helpful and very responsive and give you updates throughout everything. Sam was my service advisor here and he wasn't very responsive to messages and was horrible with giving me updates. I had to keep asking for updates and it would take him days to respond. I had dropped off my car for couple of recalls and undercarriage rust concerns. They held my car for 3 weeks! Sam sent it to a body shop to fix the undercarriage rust under warranty where they said later that they could not fix it. And after I was told he would be able to get a new undercarriage frame and some suspension parts approved under warranty. A week later he came back to me telling me he would return my car because they needed the loaner car back and that he is still waiting for approvals. 1hour hour later after he gave my car back he told me GM did not approved the new frame under warranty because the car was from out of state. Also I had dropped off my car for recalls which 1/2 was done when he returned my car and he had forgotten about the other recall that wasn't done! Complete waste of time. Just take your cars to Fremont Cadillac. They took good care of me and got my car taken care of with the recalls and I asked them about the rust concerns underneath my car and they said it's just surface rust and not structural. Avoid This Dealership - Unethical and Unprofessional I leased a Cadillac from Stevens Creek under a signed contract with exceptional credit score. A few days later, I received a vague cancellation notice saying "financing not approved" -- which made no sense given my credit. When I called, a manager accidentally revealed the real issue: they miscalculated the residual value, and their bank rejected the lease terms. I was told to either resign a new lease at $300-$400 more per month or return the vehicle immediately. I was shocked -- not only did no one take responsibility, but I was also threatened. I was told the car could be towed and reported as stolen if I didn't comply. I asked for a written explanation of the actual reason (residual mistake), not the vague "financing denied," to protect myself. They refused. When I escalated to the General Manager, I wasn't met with an apology -- but sarcasm and hostility. At the return, I was asked to sign a form claiming I'd received a full refund, even though they had cashed my check and hadn't given me anything back. I refused. Only after insisting again did they finally return my money -- still with no apology or ownership of their mistake. I've filed complaints with Cadillac Corporate, the DMV, and the BBB. This dealership operates with zero integrity, no transparency, and complete disregard for customer trust. Be warned. read more

Josh said that since I had an appointment as opposed to being a walk in that my oil change service would cause a significantly shorter wait time than those who walk in and he was absolutely spot on. He exuded the utmost respect and was extremely cordial as well as professional. When I was dropped back off at the from from my friend who picked me up to take me to coffee while I waited for my car, I was greeted by Raj who also treated me as if I were a luxury product customer. I told Raj that I was just picking up my car from service and instead of him dismissing or directing me, he escorted me as if he was more into people than jumping onto his next sale as far too many car salespeople do! I joked with him how my personal favorite human at Stevens Creek Cadillac (Manny the sales manager) forgot to put something minor in the mail for me, and he Raj went into two different offices to retrieve the specific envelope that I was seeking! I now have my new salesperson for my next/future purchase as well as someone to refer to! This past experience shone very brightly.
