The Good: Lynn and the service dept. The Bad: The sales staff team. Boy. What a difference 12 years make from my first review of this dealership. I went into the dealership to purchase a new vehicle. I had a great experience buying my 2014 Soul 12 years ago and wanted to have a similar experience. This time I did not have a great experience. When I pulled up in my Soul Ash saw me as I was parking and greeted me. Things started out great. I test drove a Seltos and a Sportage. Ash was knowledgable and helpful. All was going well until I got into the showroom and sat at a desk. I decided I wanted a 2026 Sportage EX and I wanted to explore the options of possibly doing a trade in with my Soul. Unfortunately as I was driving over to the dealership the Soul's engine light went on. I was upfront about it with Ash. Ash kept leaving the desk and going over to talk to the GM Tony and others. They took the keys to my Soul after many minutes when we were going over the sell of the Sportage they offered to give me $1000.00 as a trade-in for my Soul. I found this very insulting. They mentioned since the Engine light was on and also mentioned my tires were worn out. I had purchased 4 new tires at Costco 2 years ago and put 13,000 miles on those tires. They were rotated as scheduled so I know the tires were not worn out. During this process they sent Lynn from the service department over to me to discuss the issue with my Soul. She told me that the Soul was in "Limp Mode" and that they recommend I don't drive the vehicle. I was told it was going to cost close to $300 for them to evaluate why the Engine Light was on and that the engine might be toast. Lynn also said they would not be able to look into my Soul because they were booked out for 2 weeks. I felt very bullied during the time I was trying to negotiate a fair price on purchasing the Sportage. It partially might have been because I am a female who came into the dealership by myself? Ash seemed to disappear quite a bit and I would be sitting at the desk waiting for him. I refused their $1000.00 trade in offer and decided I was going to get a loan with Kia to purchase the vehicle. Then on the contract they had added a $3,000.00 to the price and explained it as an extra warranty. Why would I wanted a 3K warranty when Kia provides a 10yr/100k Warranty on all their new cars?? They were pushing this on me for a while and even Tony came over to press me more on it. I did not like this, which is why I felt I was being bullied. At this point I asked for the keys to my Soul and was going to leave and not purchase the new Sportage. Suddenly they came back with a contract and took off the extra $3k Warranty. The price was still higher than the suggested MSRP ($33,135.00). I again told them I wanted the keys to my Soul so I could leave. They finally agreed to the MSRP price. I still believe I over-paid and Ash and the team basically "wore me down". This was 3 hours of my life I will never get back. Tony then came up to me after I was agreeing to the price and said that I was his "customer" and that he would wave the $300 fee for the service department to look into what the problem was with my engine light going off in my Soul. I left my Soul there and Lynn was very good communicating with me on what they were doing to find out if my engine was toast or not. In the long run, it turned out to be a sensor and they replaced it. Apparently the Soul was still under warranty since there was a class action lawsuit on my vehicle. My vehicle had low miles (under 80k). When I got the keys to the new Sportage, Ash was suddenly gone. I hadn't seen him for about 30 minutes. Another employee came over to give me the keys and go over some features with the car. This process was rushed. I asked this staff member where Ash was. I was told Ash had to leave. My experience with purchasing a new car was not great. My experience with the service department was great, and very professional...thanks to Lynn. read more

Friendly, personable, easy to talk to, and they make the whole process feel smooth and taken care of. You can tell they genuinely care and aren't just going through the motions. Not exactly somewhere you're like wow I'd love to hang out here for hours, but hey, you're not there for the ambiance, you're there for the people and they deliver. BUT HERE'S WHERE IT GETS INTERESTING. I have a small family of plastic rats that live in my driver side door storage (don't ask, just accept it). Originally, there were five: * 1 large grey rat * 1 large white rat * 1 small white rat * 2 small black rats A full, thriving rat household. Every single time I've brought my car in for service, ONE OF THE WHITE RATS HAS DISAPPEARED. I am now down to three rats. My family has been broken apart. And apparently, someone in that service department has a very specific preference for white rats?? The pattern is undeniable. The audacity is also undeniable. The disrespect. Immeasurable. So yes. 10/10 service, incredible staff, would absolutely come back. Very bad business practices. Ishmael the sales manager was very rude and demanding. They failed to detail any bit of my car I purchased. I dropped of my vehicle and Said claimed he detailed it. I left work to pick up my car and nothing was done. No accessories were given to me with my vehicle. They also failed to give me wheel lock keys on my vehicle and I have no way of taking my wheels off in case of an emergency. I had a really disappointing experience at the Stevens Creek location. From the moment we walked in, the staff were rude and dismissive and didn't even seem interested in helping us. We were barely acknowledged and it felt like no one wanted to pay attention to us or assist with what we needed. I came in because I was interested in selling my car, which is in perfect condition, and the offer they gave me was honestly dirt cheap. It was almost laughable considering how well-maintained the car is. The whole situation just made it seem like they weren't taking us seriously at all. Honestly, I'm not sure if it was because we were women or what the reason was, but the entire interaction felt very uncomfortable. I felt judged the second I walked in, and the lack of professionalism was very obvious. This is actually the second bad experience I've had at this location, which is really unfortunate. Both times the employees came across as rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to help. Customer service from the sales side is practically nonexistent. The only good experience I've had here has been with their service/maintenance department, which has always been helpful and professional. I got a lease on EV last Saturday, and the experience was horrible. Sam as sales person was nice enough, but they lied to me, claiming they are sold out on the car i wanted, which I actually I test drove and was still in the parking lot. They had the car still on the website while insisting that they don't have any car at the iffer price they published on their website. Overall I understand it wasn't the Sam fault but the manager that make these decisions. They saw that I am interested and I don't live nearby, and they took advantage of that. We went back and forth because that's the dealer dance and I stood firm on my offer they countered with a fair offer and I took it. The other dealers had high interest rates on loans I have outstanding credit and I got the 0.9% financing for 60 mo. They were nice and no pressure and understood that this is a huge purchase. Never get your car serviced here. I brought my car in to check the rear LEFT traffic sensor. Dealer stated they removed the bumper and rear RIGHT tail light to get a better look. After picking up the car, I got a "check turn signal light" on the dashboard, which was not there before the service. The rear right blinker light also stopped working. I called the service center immediately, only to be told it must be a coincidence and that i would have to pay again to fix this new issue that they caused.
