To be fair I didn't get to eat the food. We ordered takeout over the phone. We were told that it would be 15 - 20 minutes. I arrived 20 minutes later to pick up our food. I was given a number to wait in line. Another 20 minutes passed and I had not received my food. I asked at the counter and was told it had been sitting there. I opened the bag to notice half of the order was missing. So, 40 minutes later I asked them to refund my money. They did offer to make the order again, but I no longer had the time to wait. read more

The food was no as good as the other reviews say. I got a classic burger and it tasted like cinnamon, burgers are not supposed to taste that way. My boyfriend got a chicken sandwich and the chicken was mostly fat. The food was not delicious at all. I recommend going to a different burger place then wasting your money there. read more

My husband and I were headed home from Estes Park on a Tuesday night. We needed to stop here to get gas and saw there was a fast food restaurant inside the Shell gas station. I had a cheeseburger combo. To start off with, the bun was delicious--not your run-of-the-mill-sesame-seeded number. The toppings were fresh and in the right proportion, and included shredded lettuce, which was a win in my book. The burger was nicely cooked, and the sauce was yummy. The fries were fresh, and while tasty, they could have been crispier, but they weren't super greasy, so of course I ate every last one! The worst thing about the meal was that my Dr. Pepper tasted like root beer, but I like root beer, and I was so happy with the rest of my meal that I just didn't care! The whole meal was under $8. This is inside the food market at the Shell Gas Station. It just opened. I stopped in for a double bacon cheeseburger and it was huge, juicy and delicious...they also make their fries there. It was a wonderful tasting burger and the fries were very good too. For $9 you can get this including a drink. The service was fast and the people who work there were very nice. No place to sit but being near Rocky Mountain National Park and other scenic areas in Estes Park it wasn't hard to find a nice place to park and eat. I will definitely go back here again. They also have breakfast burritos and other types of burgers, etc. read more

Tried Fresh Burger a few days ago and thought it was pretty tasty. I had the avocado burger which was very good. Husband has the Cubana and thought it was really good too. My daughter had the double bacon cheeseburger. She asked them if they could add a fried egg to it and although they were confused as to why one would do that, they did do it...and she loved it. Fries were really tasty as well. Total of 3 combo meals for $27. Will definitely go again. The only room for improvement would be adding sweet tea. lol read more

I stopped here with my parents, who were visiting from overseas. Best burgers I've had in Estes Park! Tasty, and they're made with grass fed beef. I had the jalapeño burger, and it had just the right amount of bite to it. My parents went for the double cheese burgers, and my son had the kid's burger. The kitchen looked really clean, and the service was excellent. We ate our burgers in the outside patio area in the back, with a nice view of the mountains. read more

We're from California and visited family in CO, and Cali is known for the In N Out burgers, and I'd have to say the burgers are one of the tops that compares to In N Out. This place is great! I ordered the veggie wrap, my kids split a quesadilla and my Mom had a cheeseburger. Then we all shared some cheese sticks and jalapeño poppers. All were delicious! The girl who took our order was friendly and remembered the extra stuff we asked for (ketchup, salt, etc.). I had serious doubts in a gas station restaurant but decided to trust the reviews and I'm glad I did. The burger was delicious. I got the Wild Shroom burger. I was pleasantly surprised. The fries were disappointing. Cold, floppy, and no salt. Granted I came in the middle of the afternoon but for how long I waited for the burger to be made fresh I was bummed that the fries were old. Went to eat there the other day after work I've been eye balling this burger joint every time I pass it on my way to work I went in and the nice gentlemen named Chrys took my order he was really helpful I ordered a quarter pounder burger and apparently there is 2 styles that you can order it there is the fresh and the classic the gentleman helped me settle on the classic he told me that that is the most popular I ordered my meal combo and apparently they make there own fries there it seemed weird to me that a gas station burger joint hand cuts there fries I received my meal about 10 min later and the man behind cooking came up to the counter and gave it to me he had a nice chefs coat on and looked the part I sat down at there dinning area and I tell you these burgers are amazingly good I ate the whole thing !!!! Wow. What an unexpected treat. This place is part of a gas station but makes an amazing burger. I had their #1 which had chipotle mayo, and jalapeños on the hamburger. I love it when I find a great burger, seems to be such a rare find these days. Stopped at the Shell gas station in January and was surprised to find a delicious jalapeno burger made to order. Came back to Estes Park again in March and decided to see if they were consistent, sure enough a great burger a second time. Best burger I've had in a long time. It was thick, freshly made to order and not greasy. I had the avocado burger and the chunks of avocado were thick, the tomato was ripe and the lettuce crisp. OK, so it's located in a Shell gas station with limited seating. But it's a burger place. Get past the location and enjoy the best burger in town! The food is fresh, tasty and not your average burger. They have a chicken avocado sandwich, a Cuban, breakfast burrito, and I don't know what type of cheese is melted on the double bacon cheeseburger, but............yummy! Because it's prepared fresh it does take a little longer to get your food. It's worth the wait. I live in Estes and this is one of my go to places for a burger. Just a nice local family owned business with a smile and reasonably priced good food. Hopefully the business takes off and they can get a better location. read more
