I usually don't go to gas stations for dinner, but there are exceptions. In reality, FBS is attached to the gas station store, but they share the same entrance. I ordered Mario's spicy burger with fries. Unfortunately, the cashier misunderstood me and thought I said "only mayo", instead of "no mayo". It was an honest mistake and they made me another burger sans the dreaded mayo. The burger was cooked medium and was 1/4 pound. I liked the avocado, however there were only a couple of small jalapeños which didn't add a whole lot of spice. That said, I still enjoyed the burger. Since I had to wait an additional 5 minutes or so for my remade burger, the fries weren't hot. They did have a nice seasoning salt added and were still pretty good lukewarm. There's a separate seating area on the other side of the store if you would like to eat on the premises. I was the only one there on a Saturday night. If you want a quick bite after leaving RMNP, don't let the gas station affect deter you from coming here. read more

We're local, and have eaten in Every restaurant in Estes. This is truly some of the best food/burgers that we've had, (even in Denver and many places in between). Fresh Burger is clean, creative, affordable and uses fresh, high quality ingredients. They are a young couple living their dream; can you ask for more?? We love the Mario's Spicy Burger (which you can get extra spicy), with real, fresh peppers, not the pickled jarred bleck that every other place routinely uses. There is Nothing not to love about this place. Ok, I will say their fries are not my favorite, but even they are made fresh daily, and their onion rings and cheese sticks are very good. The food in Estes Park has been somewhat lacking. I chuckled that one of the top rated eateries here was a burger counter in a Shell station. To my surprise, it was one of the only meals I've had here that I enjoyed. The burger and fries were good quality, comparable to 5 Guys if you've had them. If there was better seating than the little booths on the other side of the gas station I'd give them 5 stars. Best kept secret in town!! Wow, my family just got burgers, fries, and milkshakes to-go and we loved them all. First, I gotta say the gluten free bun is one of the best I've had. Our favorite burgers were the avocado burger, the mushroom burger (#6), and the bacon cheeseburger with chipotle mayo. The wife tried this place the other day and thought it was great. I decided to make a lunch run just to see for myself. They had a variety of burgers a some Mexican mainly Street Tacos and Tortas. The wife had a Mario's Burger which is their Spicy Burger. I had the Classic Cheeseburger. Both were excellent with fresh ingredients. The fries were thin cut and fresh also. Did I mention very good. The kid before me ordered the Tacos and inhaled them before leaving. My only issue with this place was they were slow with not enough help. After pulling over to eat next to Estes park beautiful river I was surprised how tasty the steak torta was! I mean it was real authentic Mexican flavor! Wow! I was not expecting the food to taste that amazing I hate to admit. I'm glad the grumpy cashier girl no longer works here. They now have really nice cashier dude, really friendly and is just full of life. He always accommodates my orders with a smile on his face.
