This is an early morning place. We got there about 1:15-1:30 in the afternoon and then I realized they closed to 2:00PM. The place was plenty busy and usually is when you drive by so I thought should be a pretty good place. I ordered the burger which was fine but certainly not the best I've had. The staff was friendly and prompt with their service. Overall, a nice place that I will probably try again. We were looking for some comfort food (and vegetables) during our camping trip and drove past fresh harvest cafe. the building is inviting and the staff was so helpful and friendly to our family of six. the food came out quickly and our server brought a carafe of sprite so the kids could refill their sodas at will. it was all so yummy and relaxing. even our pickiest eater said her oatmeal was delicious and ate a ton. definitely will return here when we come back through town! read more

This place is wonderful! Tina was very nice and a wonderful waitress. I ordered the Oregon Harvest coffee drink. I removed the simple syrup for a less sweet drink. I would recommend also taking out the hazelnut to have a less sweet drink. We ordered the chicken fried steak & Oregon berry crepe. This place was a great find during our drive down the Oregon coast. I never had marionberry fruit before. I ordered the crepe with marionberry. It was delicious. This meal made my top 5 best breakfasts I've had in my entire life - trust me, I've had LOTS of breakfasts! We got the bacon, mushroom, and ricotta crepe and the bacon, avocado, and cheese omelette & split it so we could try a bit of both. The meal tasted like a warm hug after a morning of hail & rain in Florence. The english muffin with marionberry jam just melts in your mouth! We were visiting just for a short period of time but I'm so glad we ate at Fresh Harvest, the food & drinks are delicious & the staff bring sunshine to a rainy morning. First off the service here is awesome. Great staff, very attentive. Second - the food is sub par. We had the Savoury Crepe and ordered a PLAIN crepe. We found the crepes to be thick and rubbery. The coffee was the worst. Dishwater with melted brown crayon. Seriously... we live in a coffee culture - how can you make bad coffee anymore? Even after ordering the plain crepe.... plain, it came dusted with icing sugar and this weird white goo drizzled on it. Condensed milk? Couldn't tell. Sadly the side syrup was some flavourless mystery corn syrup thing. You know, the kind that forms a skin over it when it sits for 5 minutes. Just use real maple syrup and charge us more... and buy some good coffee beans while you're at it. read more

Mocha was very gross - tasted like watery coffee with a bit chocolate flavor. I loved this small-town place that my parents took me to after they picked us up from the airport. They frequent this place and so they knew it would be a good place to take us after our travels. The side reminds me of a small mom and pop diner from the 80's. Very simple inside but the food was nothing of the sort. Everything was amazing! Now, I order veggie burgers wherever I can and I always look forward to visiting Oregon as almost every restaurant has one on the menu. Thus, I started my trip with nothing other than their mushroom veggie burger. WOWWW! One of the best ones I have had! I don't normally like the veggie burgers that try to look like regular meat, I like the ones where you can see the veggies and grains inside, but this one taught me that maybe I had it all wrong. I later was told it was tofurkey brand and was floored. Anyway, the flavors all melded perfectly and the toppings were fresh. My dad loved the fish and chips, they were very much a classic fish and chip dish and what my dad likes. Both omelets ordered were perfectly cooked and well balanced and both my mother and hubs cleaned their plates. I'd heard of Fresh Harvest for years, but had neglected to try it. My visiting in-laws picked it. We arrived at 11:30, parked in a handicapped spot next to the door, and were seated immediately. It was crowded but our orders were taken and brought quickly. The premises are spotless. My wife and I are vegetarians and my step-daughter and in-laws aren't, but we all were absolutely delighted with our meals. The veggie burger was as good as I've had anywhere. What a find! read more

We were here for an early lunch and caught the tail end of the breakfast bunch so place was pretty busy. We were able to get an outside table given it was such a lovely day. The inside seating area is fairly small but there are two large areas outside with shade covers. Our waitress was quick to acknowledge us and get our drink order. We were able to order food when she returned with drinks. I had the shrimp basket-the shrimp had a nice crunchy crust and tasted great. The coleslaw was a bit warm and rather tasteless. My husband had a burger which was cooked to medium as requested and appeared to be hand patted. Also, the burgers are a half pound so bring your appetite! Painfully slow service. We had to ask three different times if we could please get menus, a server, etc. we sat outside so maybe that's why? We sat about 15 minutes before we even got menus. When we finally did get someone it was only because it was the third time we went in and asked! Not impressed :( they need a larger wait staff during weekends I think. Getting our food was equally slow. Forget getting drink refills, it never happened. Food was alright. I got a veggie crepe with spinach, tomatoes, Swiss and mushrooms but there were a few random pieces of bacon in it. Overall, we decided we won't return. My third time eating at Fresh Harvest because the food is wonderful, hence the 3 stars. However service is slow each time and today we witnessed the manager/owner handle a dissatisfied customer most unprofessionally. Instead of acknowledging the complaint, eating the $15 and getting a return customer, he chose to argue and be very rude. Then came back out and started more drama when the dissatisfied diner was posting a bad review. All the while we were trying to enjoy our meal which was ruined by the loud arguing. When I said something, the customer apologized but the owner/manager said nothing. So now he's lost two customers. And I'll be telling others. Stress is not good for digestion!! read more

We dined at Fresh Harvest this morning with a large group of 9. We did not make a reservation so we expected to wait. The wait was around 25-30 minutes but we did not mind at all. The service was great and our food came out quickly after we ordered! Everyone at the table loved their food. We stopped here for the first time last weekend. It's obviously a popular place as it was packed! The atmosphere is cute and the staff was friendly. We had the BLTA and the very veggie grilled cheese sandwich. Both items were super fresh and tasty. No wonder it was so busy! I was concerned that we'd be delayed getting back on the road as it did take some time to place and get our food, but it was their rush hour, and we did manage to get in and out in about an hour so all in all not bad. And the food was certainly worth the wait. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth stopping in for a meal. Next time, I'm definitely trying the crepes. They looked fabulous. read more
