I LOVE FRESH KITCHEN! I have never had a bad experience here. Our property managers at our office catered us fresh kitchen for lunch and it was just as good as getting it in the restaurant. Everything is seasoned beautifully and the bbq chicken is my favorite. Chicken is so tender and the flavor is the perfect mix of sweet and tangy. Highly recommend the sweet potato noodles as one of your bases - they're light and add that extra texture to every bite. This is one of my favorite additions to Orlando in 2018. I love being able to access fresh, affordable, healthy food that's convenient and most importantly delicious. An added bonus is that the staff is always super friendly/helpful and the entire place has a very fun vibe/aesthetic. Fresh Kitchen offers buildable bowls where you choose a base, veggie, protein, etc. but they have so many options to choose from that you can really make it your own. Even my partner (who hates veggies) loves this place because he can eat healthy without being forced into eating a bunch of veggies. My go-to bowl is a 4-Bowl with double coconut rice (it's seriously the best), sweet potatoes, baked almond chicken, and creamy white ginger sauce. They also have delicious teas and fountain sodas, which I've only tried a few of, but they were really good. Already a huge fan of Fresh Kitchen in Waterford Lakes, so this location closer to us has been a huge hit. We've already been here three times in one month. This is definitely our favorite dinner spot in Orlando right now. This location is similar to Ucf with only a few different design tweaks. We love the employees here. They are very helpful and let us try everything. The store is always well kept and everything always fully stocked and fresh. We loves the cool wall art near the bathroom that offers positive reinforcement. I also like that their bathroom is eco friendly. I encountered one issue here with my steak being a little pinker than I enjoy and the associate was quick to fix it and bring me out a new bowl. Let's talk about Fast Food Re-Imagined!!! This place exceeded my expectations! It's fresh and full of flavor. I was expecting fresh but bland but OMG all of the chicken and steak options were good! I was able to sample most of the meats prior to deciding what I wanted, which is awesome!! I choose the kid bowl(1 base, 1 protein, 1 veggie) initially thinking oh I'm not gonna really eat all that. Well, I had to change it to the 6 bowl bc after sampling most of the food I wanted a little of everything lol! I choose the spiced rice as my base, Parmesan broccoli and roasted sweet potatoes (tossed in honey) as my veggies, and grilled citrus chicken and steak as the protein!!! I had the balsamic vinaigrette sauce which was sooo good! Paired with a Strawberry Lemon Fresca. The orAnge cream soda was delish too! When I finished, I didn't feel sleepy either. I had an amazing experience at Fresh Kitchen today. The food options were plentiful and very tasty. The service was immaculate! Even the chef and manager, Kristina Knight, came out to greet us personally and offered us chocolate chip cookies. I had the barbecue chicken which I highly recommend, and the sweet potato noodles. Super excited to have this place open up so close to where we live! We've seen the signs and construction for awhile and when it finally opened we waited a week or so for the initial chaos to slow down a bit. It's easy enough to get to from either side of the road. There is plenty of parking. Once you had inside it's very much set up like a Subway or Chipotle where you wait in line to order your ingredients as they're prepared. They have tons of options so be sure to grab a menu or look at the menu board prior to ordering, so you'll know what you want They have a couple of different options for how to mix and match your bases and your toppings with your proteins, if you're interested in a protein. I went with the cauliflower mashed potatoes, roasted mushrooms, and the barbecue chicken. I opted to do double of the cauliflower mashed potatoes because I didn't want to mix a cold base with a hot base. One of the things I wish they would get here is a hot noodle option for one of the bases. Pricing is totally reasonable. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside. We opted to sit outside since all their seating is conveniently in the shade. My bowl was very good and the cauliflower mashed potatoes are definitely something you should try! Staff was very friendly and quick to turn over all of the dirty tables. I really enjoyed the strawberry Fresca drink, I recommend this one as well! Also be sure to check out their cold case while you're in line because it has a lot of very neat options you may want to try. This includes an option for a zucchini brownie, which I will definitely be trying the next time we go, because I love zucchini bread. I was trying to wrap my head around all the hype I was hearing about Fresk Kitchen but now I totally understand the appeal and popularity. They offer fast casual dining that's actually good for you and provide you with an alternative to your other fast casual lunch/dinner options like Subway, Chipotle, Hummus House, etc. There setup is similar to the aforementioned places since you have an employee build you your meal but you get to choose between some fresh and healthy options. I get the 4 bowl that comes with 2 bases, 1 veggie, 1 protein and a sauce. I usually modify it to just get 1 base, 2 veggies, etc. etc. I've never had a bad experience with any of the ingredients I've tried. Their coconut ginger rice, perfect spice rice and cauliflower potato mash are my go-to bases. I always go with the chicken for my protein and any combination of veggies that I'm feeling that day. The parmesan broccoli is my fave though. Not a fan of any of the other sauces except for the creamy white ginger sauce. Their zucchini brownies and Paleo cookies are amazing so don't neglect those! I haven't tried any of their frescas or drinks yet but if they're on par with everything else, I'm sure they're great. Pro tip: order online first and skip the line. They have a convenient pickup shelf near the register where you can just grab your food and go. The website is easy to navigate and there's no additional charge to order online. Tried this place for the first time and we liked it a lot. Located in the public plaza right on South Orange Ave, this place has great gluten free options and hormone free proteins for everyone. I love their zucchini with chocolate chip bread and their not too sweet paleo cookies. We tried the tuna poke with coconut rice and the spicy rice with steak. I love the tuna poke combo I created and added some sesame ginger green beans, as great Asian inspired dish! The steak with cooked perfectly and that spicy rice was a great compliment. I have been wanting to try this place out for a while and finally got to it! I went with friends to check it out the other night. Ordering is simple; it's set up similar to a Chipotle where you go down the line and let the team know what you want. The line moves pretty quickly. I was indecisive, so I ended up getting the 6 bowl to try more items. This was large and I had leftovers, so next time I'd probably go with the 4. I chose brown rice and sweet potato noodles for the base, Parmesan broccoli and roasted mushrooms for the veggies, almond crusted baked chicken and tuna poke for the protein, and the holy kale sauce. The ingredients all tasted fresh and delicious. I enjoyed the holy kale sauce though it's pretty small for such a large bowl. However, the ingredients had enough flavor on their own so I didn't mind. The poke was tasty and the almond crusted chicken really stole the show. The sweet potato noodles were kind of odd, but not bad. I really like the amount of customization that is possible at Fresh Kitchen. I'd be happy to go back to try other bowls (and I'd love to try a broth bowl in the winter!) I am going back and forth on how I feel about this place... I've stopped in twice during the week for lunch. Of course, there is always quite a long line because of its location close to downtown. But workers quickly get customers through the line. Workers are always very friendly and patient. I've tried a variety of the menu items. All very tasty - and I felt good about eating them because several of the options are gluten free, vegetarian etc. Some of the food though, looks like its been sitting out or not cooked properly. We had gotten the sweet potatoes once - and they were undercooked! Let me say though, there is a good selection of food to choose from. All are very well seasoned. Each dish comes with at least one sauce! Those can really add a lot of flavor to your dish. You get what you pay for. Sure there are cheaper lunch options out there... but going and eating here makes you feel like you're making a healthier option. The drinks are not really anything to write home about. All super sweetened and what you would expect. The drinks remind me of what you would find at Panera Bread or Blaze Pizza. I built my own bowl on Uber Eats that includes - to name my favorite ingredients - citrus chicken, creamy white ginger sauce, and sweet potato noodles. The chicken is in big chunks and beautifully charred in a way that tastes fresh and still moist. Beyond that, the inclusion of sweet potato noodles on the menu is not only gluten free, but also a unique, guilt-free alternative to calorie-dense processed pasta. Pasta. Healthy. Low-calorie. Sign me up! And finally, the pièce de résistance- the creamy white ginger sauce. I wish I'd ordered extra on the side so I could dip literally anything from my kitchen into this sauce. Can I rave about this place for a minute or ten ok cool thanks. The last time I came here I ate IN THE DARK because they lost power and it was probably one of the best/coolest dining experiences ever.. I took one of my friends here in the middle of a bad thunderstorm and they lost power right before we entered! We couldn't run back to our car because the storm was so bad and lightening strikes were visibly striking poles a block away (we saw three and the first is the one that took out all the power on Orange ave!!!) so we obviously weren't trying to leave and die but also still hungry. We apprehensively approached the counter to ask if they're closed now or still serving food and the guy smiled and said, "we still have hot food so we're definitely still serving! What would you like?" With the biggest smile on his face I might add! I was blown away by his positive attitude and willingness to serve us. The staff worked as a team to use the flashlights on their phones so they could see the food they were serving us!!!! Talk about next level service under challenging and unusual circumstances! They had us pay using an old fashion, manual credit card system and continued taking guests after us as well. We were also offered free tea since the drink machines were down because of the loss of power. We got to then enjoy our meal in peace, safe from the storm, and in the dark with no rush from the staff forcing us to leave. So fun!! I would've guessed the staff trained all their life for this moment with their keen actions and knowledge in knowing exactly what to do! I was coming here time and time again before having this experience because the food's just THAT good (clean green rice, sweet potato noodles, sweet potatoes, mushrooms, bbq chicken and creamy white ginger will knock your socks off) but now I'm a fan for life. If you're on the hunt for a quick lunch or dinner that is healthy, inexpensive AND delicious, look no further. Fresh Kitchen has the food that you'd cook for yourself if you weren't so lazy. You pick your size bowl -- kid, 4 or 6 bowl. Each with variations of the number of items you receive. I typically go with the 6 because it's the best deal in my opinion. You get 2 bases, 2 veggies, 2 meats and a sauce. If you do the 4 bowl and want to add an extra veggie or meat, you can, but it's gonna be about the same price as the 6, so you might as well go with the 6. My favorite bases are the chilled sweet potato noodles and the spinach salad. But really all of them are great. My favorite veggies are definitely the sesame green beans, buffalo cauliflower or Parmesan broccoli. I do love the Brussel sprouts too when they have them! My go-to meat is the almond chicken. It's a MUST. It's like healthy chicken tenders. The seasoning is perfect. I also like the grilled citrus chicken and bbq chicken (which is the only item with sugar). The best sauce is either the coconut sriracha (just a little heat, not too much) or the creamy white ginger (it tastes like white sauce that you'd get a hibachi restaurant). Or get both! I typically do double sauce, it's only 25 cents extra. Their teas and lemonades are delicious as well as the bottled coffee drinks. I love Fresh Kitchen. Do not miss asking for the balsamic sauce!! Again. Ask for the balsamic sauce! It takes the food from a "great" to "incredible" level when it comes to flavor. The white sauce was pretty good too. The place itself was clean and fresh, just like the food. All of the table tops had rose-print pattern. I always order the BBQ chicken and Holy Kale dressing they are definitely must try's and then for the rest I like to switch it up.
