My friend treated me to a birthday lunch this week and when we got to the table, the staff had a birthday card waiting for me! How thoughtful! We came during happy hour and decided to try a few small plates and drinks. The Egg Rolls are a must! They were packed with flavor and a variety of ingredients. My friend especially loved the shrimp. We also tried the quesadillas and sliders on the happy hour menu. Both dishes tasted incredible! Sadly, though the happy hour has half priced apps, the plates are also half sized. They were absolutely delicious, but the dishes felt overpriced for the portion size. As for drinks, I tried the sangria flight. I wasn't expecting such a full portion size and was pleasantly surprised with that. I did, however, only find 2 of the 4 drinks to be especially tasty. I wouldn't order that flight again, but would be interested in their wine offerings. I loved the low lighting in the space as it set such a calm and laid back mood. I've been a regular at Fresh Kitchen in Waterford Lakes (near Best Buy and Tin & Taco) for over a year now, and I can honestly say it's one of my favorite spots for a quick, healthy, and delicious meal. When I'm trying to eat somewhat healthy and don't want to cook, fresh kitchen is my go to. I end up saucing my protein bowl so I'm sure it's not nearly as healthy or low cal as I'm thinking it is but whatever, it's better than a cheeseburger right? Hopefully! The meat is always fresh and they constantly have new food being made. The ordering and checkout line is very quick, even if the line seems long. When it's good, though, it's very good. The staff is also very nice, and the interior is kept extremely clean. Some of my favorite items from the menu are the sweet potato noodles, pesto noodles, garlic broccoli, miso-glazed tofu, and their pickled red onions. I enjoy all of the sauce options as well, but when ordering my food to-go, they have forgotten my side sauce a few times before. I love that their menu is 100% gluten free, and I am so happy my gluten-free friends have a spot they can fully enjoy.

Their BOGO deal on Uber Eats is amazing. I get a BOGO for myself and husby gets his own BOGO too. I usually get 4 meals out of it and husby gets 2.
