I had a terrible experience here and have to leave a one-star review. I have a serious allergy to many types of meat. The place was busy with about fifteen people in line. To be considerate, I let every single person go ahead of me so I wouldn't hold up the line while they cleaned the grill. I waited patiently until I was the very last customer with no one behind me. When it was finally my turn, I politely explained my allergy to the female cook and asked her to clean the grill before cooking my bowl. She immediately got an attitude and said "the grill's clean." I told her I had just watched her cook fifteen meat-heavy meals on it and again asked her to clean it. She said okay, finished the remaining orders, then grabbed my bowl and dumped it straight onto the dirty grill without cleaning it at all. She barely cooked my food for thirty seconds while everyone else's got several minutes. Her attitude was rude and nasty the entire time. When I pointed out she never cleaned the grill, she just said they were busy. I was so disgusted I walked straight to the trash and threw my entire meal away. I didn't even bother asking for a refund because I couldn't deal with her horrible attitude anymore. The male cook also speaks almost no English, making it hard to communicate special requests. The owners need to seriously retrain or replace their staff, ignoring serious food allergies is DANGEROUS and completely unacceptable. read more

I came in craving a Mongolian bowl and left completely disappointed. The customer service was awful from the start. The woman working the line had zero hospitality--no greeting, no communication, just "getting a bowl" as she rang me up incorrectly and had to redo it when I clarified my combo. Food handling was also concerning. At one point, she grabbed my bowl with her bare thumb inside it. I asked for light noodles and spicy, but neither was done properly. At the grill, my food was repeatedly drenched with water while she walked away to help other customers. Each time she came back, more water was added and portions of my food were pushed off the grill and lost. By the end, my container wasn't even full. To make things worse, my meal had squash mixed in that I never added--clearly cross-contamination. The final result was overcooked, watery, and completely bland. I ended up throwing it away and getting food somewhere else. Very disappointing experience. I won't be coming back. read more

I really enjoyed my meal here and the service was great. I got a bowl with just meat and veggies, no noodles. The man in the kitchen offered me more vegetables which I appreciated! The meat I added seemed like such an insignificant amount compared to the volume of vegetables I had going on. The bowls are just so small, you have to stack your ingredients strategically and there's only room for so many things. Food was made quickly and everything had good flavor. I would definitely stop by here again for a quick lunch! Nothing beats that piping hot freshly cooked Mongolian BBQ. read more

The Mongolian Grill is located inside of the Burbank Town Center on the first level. Parking is available for the mall and is free! The restaurant is very clean and they are always wiping off the bar and keeping it freshly stocked. The service is average, but fast! They also serve boba, tanghulu, as well as the Mongolian bowls. When you order, you order a bowl which you pay for first and they give you on your tray. Then, you make your selections of protein. Your options are shaved pork, shaved chicken, and shaved beef. Next, you add in any veggies you want in your bowl (broccoli, cabbage, onion, peppers, mushrooms, etc.) After that you give them your bowl and they add in the noodles and ask you what you want your spice level to be as well as if you want garlic. Once you do that they dump your bowl onto the round grill to cook. The cooking technique is very amazing to watch! After it's done, they put it in a to-go container and you are on your way to enjoy an amazing meal. For a mall food court option, this is certainly the freshest, customizable option you have that is a great quality as well as quantity. read more

This was a really great option for mall food. For the generous portion size the price is quite reasonable as two adults could probably split one order. Service was fast, responsive and really helpful. I didn't know the noodle and sauce wasn't part of the DIY build your own bowl though, haha the chefs will add noodles and your desired sauces to finish your bowl. Otherwise, you pay and move down the line and then pass it over to chefs to finish. They cooked it in no time and it was really enjoyed by my kids and fam. Will def come by again when shopping g around this mall. The boba was also really reasonably priced and tasted great. Would recommend the mango green tea boba for sure! read more

Today, I was trying a new card that I had just received, when I swiped it the first time, it did not work, one of the employees by the name of GLORIA said "it didn't work so try another card I can't wait I am busy" in the most rudest way instead of simply helping me or being patient. At that point I knew I should have just left but I proceeded to try again and got my card to work. Keep in mind there was no one behind me, only a few customers ahead of me. As a business owner myself, I will never treat customers in such way, I will help customers no matter how busy I way be, it will always be my priority. Please do better. read more

Probably the worst service in the Burbank mall food court! The lady who works there has no respect for anyone and treat non Latin people horribly! I understand that food service is tough and can get hectic. I ordered food online and came 30 min to pick it up and when I got there she said it wasn't ready, there was another gentleman there who was the same race as me and stated that he too ordered online and been waiting for 20 min. While laughing and having full conversations with all the Hispanic people and when asking for extra noodles she happily gave it with sauce packets and everything. When I asked " if you can't make our order we can get in line and self serve and melt it to go" with the worst attitude she has she looked at me and said that's not allowed. I'll have to do it myself. I said OK that's totally fine yeah but we've been waiting for almost an hour in this poor gentleman next to me. I've been waiting for you know almost to an hour or more. She rolled her eyes and she got the ball now what was weird as she didn't wash her hands or didn't do anything, but she got got the ticket and she want to proceed to make my ball and the gentlemen she only had one glove in one hand and started filling up the bowl at that time not only was she pushing down with their hand that didn't have a glove, but she wasn't putting too much and won't even said hey can we put a little bit more meat or veggie? She said no. When we asked for noodles or a little bit extra, he said you would have to pay extra in order to do that. I just went down proceeding that's fine now what happened was when the order was being cooked and everything like that they switched the orders. They gave my order to the gentleman who is standing next to me and they gave me his order to me when I tried to tell them hey I didn't have any mushrooms or anything like that you know, please check the ticket. You gave my order to someone else. Obviously, she completely refused and said if you want a new ball, you'll have to pay again. This isn't my first encounter with her and every time she has a huge problem she'll be nice to the individual sewer, Latin American, but everyone else she gives a stink guy and has the worst attitude and has a laundry list of rules of what to do and what not to do. It is completely fired and unfair. She really needs to be let go or the owners really need to be there to ensure that everyone gets treated the same. read more

She didn't seem to care at all the about costumers watching as she yelled at another employee. She has horrible horrible people skills. Considering all the one star reviews saying the same things this business should really consider new staff. They usually accommodate my allergy and cook my food separate it takes 3 minutes. They told me they would make my food separate and then dumped it with all the other ones with sauces I'm allergic to and when I asked why she did that after she told me she would cook mine separately she was dismissive and said she's busy and didn't care. Disgusting service and dirty do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Also, consider getting an employee that speaks fluent English and can communicate instead of having a rude nasty attitude. i came 20 minutes before they closed just to buy the tanghulu that's already made and just in the fridge. there was already a bunch of people who got in line 2 second before us and he served them but yelled at us that they're closed. we said even just for the tanghulu? and he yelled at us saying no. we had come an hour earlier but there was no staff even though they were opened. he was very rude and yelled at us in front of everyone in line for no reason. not to mention we sat in line talking about if we wanted the grape or strawberry and he saw us but didn't tell us they were closed until it was our turn. really wanted to try them but definitely won't be back. we live in burbank and would have returned often as we love a good sweet treat. read more

My husband asked for NOT Spicy, because I have Ulcerative colitis and can't have spicy. On the Menu that is even option. My husband said when he asked for Rice instead of noodles they were a bit reluctant to do so. I've dealt with rude service before, but THIS takes the damn cake. I don't know who this woman thinks she is--owner, manager, whatever--but that tiny scrap of "authority" clearly went to her head. She needs to be FIRED on the spot. And I say fired because this isn't the first time she's acted like a complete ASS to us. Earlier today, I just went in to grab some food. All we did--literally all we did--was try to tell them their beef tray was EMPTY. Instead of doing her job, this miserable excuse for an employee spins around, waves her hands at us like we're stray animals, and then flat-out SCREAMS "GO AWAY, YOU NEED TO WAIT." Not speaking loudly. Not being firm. Actually YELLING at us. All we were trying to say was: "Hey, your beef is gone." That's it. Our office used to eat there at least twice a week without fail. Going forward? That number is ZERO. We're done. I HOPE she gets fired from her position and never finds employment again. :) read more
