OK here you go, me, and my homeboy after Golf went to this restaurant that was recommended by our other golf buddies. The ambience was nice. The service was very good. The decor was inviting. After perusing the menu, we spoke with our server whose name was by the way Sarah. So my homeboy ass man would it be weird to get fish and chips at a barbecue joint and I said yeah you always get with the feature of the restaurant is so we had to discussion with sarah and sarah said the fish and chips are really good so based on our recommendation, we said what the hell had the fish and chips I had the barbecue chicken sandwich and you must add provolone cheese Along with the tortilla soup. Well, I must admit fish and chips were off the chain perfectly battered, moist cooked to perfection. The barbecue chicken was outstanding. Make sure you asked for extra sauce lol the meal was very enjoyable the service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant and as you all know that check out my post, I'm always right ha ha. My wife's burger was delicious. My spare ribs, not so much. The rack was huge, but half was inedible. I'm not a fan of spare ribs, but tried them anyway. Loaded with knuckle type bones, and membrane was left on the bottom of the rack. Ribs were only cut, halfway thru. The inedible side of the rack, shouldn't have even been on the plate, it was actually really disgusting. Red cabbage salad was great. I'll go back, but I'll stay away from the ribs. read more

Local gem, the atmosphere is so nice in here it makes you feel like a home cooked meal. We ordered the buffalo wings they were sooo good. For $12 you really can't ask for more. Now the food was sooo good. We shared the 3 combination plate with tri-tip, ribs and bbq pork. The meat fell off the ribs , tri-tip was delicious my boyfriend and I favorite. Trying this place today for a late lunch. It's a small cool cafe and the also have a singer. He's ok so far. Our server is not here half the time because he doubles as the bartender. Where do I start. 1. The home made chips were good but the salsa was bad because pico de gallo. REAL BAD !!! 2. Chicken Salad way to much cabbage and the carrots were very old. 3. Chicken was very dry and the watermelon was old. 4. Fish batter was very oily but the fish inside was good. On a scale of 1-5 Food I'd give it a 3. Atmosphere I would give it a 4 Service was a 2. Just like all the other reviews the chicken tortilla soup was very tasty. Had a very unique flavor (maybe a little hint of bbq). Bloody Mary was tasty too. Finally the homemade chips were not greasy and had good fresh crispy texture. Tri-tip sandwich with BBQ sauce was soft, tender, light and awesome. And I'm not a big fan of Tri tip usually. For appetizer, go with the old-fashion onion basket or sweet potatoes served with brown sugar. Makes all the sense. Entrees, the baby back pork rib is decent, meaty with just the right amount of bbq sauce. However, it is not close to southern smoking goodness. Roasted chicken is always moist. The tri-tip is a hit and miss. I highly recommend the red cabbage salad as one of your sides. It is just as good as Clearman's. And for dessert, perhaps it's seasonal but they do have pie à la mode. One of my friend ordered turkey, which is super dry, another two ordered tri-tip in which the meat was also very dry. Another friend took my advice and ordered the BBQ chicken salad which was not bad as all yelpers mentioned. I ordered fettucine alfredo w/roasted chicken breast, which was decent, lacking a bit of flavor, but the chicken meat is very tender and it's a good deal that it also comes with soup (tortilla chicken). I also tried my fd's order of BBQ ribs+roasted chicken combo, ribs again lacks flavor and chicken is tender, they let you choose dark or white meat. Love the decor, patio area is very cute/cozy!! PS. Chicken meat is all on the pink side but it says in the menu that "it's fully cooked" PPS. This is one of my favorite places to be! Usually come here on weekends when they have their country breakfast open. I love their biscuits and gravy! The roasted red potatoes are awesome also and come with green onions on top. Waffles are the best I've ever had in my entire life. I'm not a fan of eggs, but even when they come with the combo I eat some (or most) of them because they actually taste good. Big slabs of bacon, if that's what you order, or extremely large/delicious sausage! My husband always gets french toast, and he can't hardly ever finish it because they are so huge. All of their meats and vegetables taste fresh and top quality and very large portions. I haven't had their lunch's yet because we keep coming in for breakfast, but I'm sure that the quality for the rest of the day is the same. Staff is extremely friendly and seem to remember our faces even if we don't come in very often. I like the hometown feel of the area and wish I could live here. We like to sit outside and listen to people walk by and watch the cars stroll through... and there's usually a group of local guys that meet up and have breakfast and they are always cheery and chit-chatting. Quite possibly might have just found my go-to BBQ spot. First things first the food was amazing. I had the tri-tip sandwich (w/ onions and cheese) and my girlfriend had the manager's favorite. We also started off with the fried green beans and they were delicious. Even if the service was only mediocre, I'd be back for the food. But, onto the service. We happened to walk in while there was a party of at least 12 people, plus your average Monday afternoon early lunch crowd. It looked like there was only 2 servers to cover the entire restaurant. Gabby helped us and she was great! We couldn't decide what we wanted (too many delicious options and it was our first time there) but she offered to help us choose what we wanted. As the restaurant continued to get busier, she was on top of it. As hard as I tried, my iced tea was always filled before I could finish it. The manager also seemed to be on top of it because they had the dishwasher come out and help run food and get refills.
