The potato salad is a southern mustard version, I believe. The baked beans may have cumin, I believe. At first, it wasn't bad but the cumin sort of tired me out. These sides issues are personal preference issues. If I liked their flavor they'd be good. The ribs were fall of the bone, but that shouldn't be the final judgement. The pulled pork and brisket were tender, however, all three suffered from what I'd say is a lack in flavor. I prefer more flavor to it. The bbq sauce isn't bad. I didn't have enough to really judge it. It isn't a thick sauce. I would prefer my bbq sauce to be in a container for me to apply rather than spread over my meat. Is it the best bbq in PA? No. Is it better than average? Yes, but not a top tier. Are the portions generous? For me, no, but maybe others yes. Is this the best bbq in the area? Currently, I'd say yes. Overall, would I eat here again? Yes, as they are currently the best in the local region. Will I go out of my way to eat here? Only if I have a strong urge for brisket or ribs. We had a variety of menu items and all were just not good. The pulled pork and pulled chicken tasted like something you would buy frozen in a grocery store to heat and eat. Ribs were average at best. The brisket was very fatty and tasteless. Service was also lacking. We were brought things we didn't order and didn't get things we did order. I literally was brought my Mac and cheese after we had all finished our meal and the green beans came a few minutes before the Mac and cheese. No apology and no offer to remove it from our bill. It was removed after I requested. We were charged from corn bread which we didn't order but I just paid for it. For $155 for 4 people, it was not a good meal or experience.

These ribs were the smallest size and had the least amount of meat, but my husband and I really enjoyed the smokey flavor of the meat and the sweet sauce. I did not buy any other foods from this business, but their website mentions pulled pork, beef brisket, BBQ chicken, loaded fries, baked beans, coleslaw, macaroni and cheese, and collard greens. Their website also mentions that they offer catering within a 20-mile radius of their business.
