I ordered the West Noodles which I loved when I substitute the chicken for beef. I went to pick up my order and asked the girl two times if they made the change. She checked the box and said, yes they did. I got home and not o my did they not substitute the dry chicken for beef, they just omitted both altogether and gave me 4 little pieces of shrimp. I had a craving for Chinese and this usually hits the spot and it did. I had the combination chow mein and had some barbecue pork as a side. The portions are generous as they should be for multiple people to eat but I was by myself and at least had some left overs for dinner. As far as taste got the chow mein was pretty good. I know it's covid and times are tough.... but they are actually tough on EVERYONE who is living right now. Orange chicken here is extremely dry and soggy here now, and they use the biggest tenderloins you can find. I ordered the Shanghai noodle with no chicken only vegetables, as we always do. The whole bowl... was vegetables with a few noodles. And finally they don't give you white rice with your meal, and this is something people will fight about but white rice cost like 50 cents to make at a restaurant, I know because I've managed it. Finally found Chinese food in Burbank that I really love! I tried the kung pao shrimp, szechuan green beans, and gold rush dim sum platter (pork bao, cream cheese wontons, eggrolls, potstickers, and shui mai). Everything tasted delicious and fresh! I would have perferred the shrimp and green beans to be a little spicier, but next time I order I know to request some extra oomph. Can't wait to go back! I was also impressed with their layout and strategies for dealing with hygiene/social distancing in the COVID pandemic. I'll start off with the positive: Orange chicken is the best I've ever had anywhere! I also really enjoyed the black pepper udon noodles. Their Pad Thai is also delicious. Everything in general here is really fresh and made to order. I truly mean that. I see the chefs go straight to work as soon as my order is placed. The negative: if you get any chicken dish that is not the orange chicken, you're going to get a lot of that "poultry" taste. It's difficult to explain, but think of it as the "very fishy" taste when you eat fish. Just stick to the their orange chicken and you'll be fine. Also, their restrooms are usually a hot mess. It's very smelly and not kept too tidy. I say this because that awful odor bled into the dining area today. Long story short, that s#*t stank up the whole place. read more

Chinese food, the final Frontier!!! Cue the theme music from Star Trek... I have never been to this location, but I have been to the original Frontier Wok. The guys at work wanted to come here, so we came here instead of the other one. They did say that it serves a lot more food, and let me tell you, they weren't mistaken. The lunch specials come with a little tiny bowl of salad with the ginger dressing. You then get a small bowl of either vegetable soup, or hot and sour soup. I chose the hot & sour soup, and I am never disappointed. It is packed with flavor, but I always have to add a little bit of soy sauce and a little of the spicy oil. I ordered the Hawaiian Chicken-$6.75, and my coworkers ordered assorted items.(Orange Chicken-$6.95, House Special-$6.75, Singapore Noodles-$7.95) Everyone was more than pleased with their meals, and 2 of the 4 of us had to take the rest home. It also comes with Cream Cheese Won Tons, that I usually order an extra order since they are so good and a pretty nice serving of rice. The Hawaiian Chicken is like a sweet and sour/pineapple chicken. If you go in with 2 or more people, you can order all small orders and still probably have leftovers for the next day. Food-4 The service is pretty quick and they are always coming around to refill your sodas, or water. The food comes out hot, and fresh, and never tastes like it has been sitting there for a while. They will split the bill for you, but since the boss was paying, we didn't worry about that. Service-5 The place is kind of old, bathroom is kind of dirty, and the place doesn't look like much, but it is clean. You might get the dirt under the fingernails thought when you walk in, but I didn't see anything that made me think it was a dirty establishment. Ambiance-4 I really enjoyed coming here, just as much as going to the original one. They both have the same menu, and everything is crisp and fresh. Dined in with my family on Super Bowl Sunday! We were greeted by one of the employees and told to sit anywhere. We were helped out by two gentlemen throughout our meal and both were interacting with us and very friendly! The restaurant was well lit and clean. Adequate amount of seating but it seems like they do a lot of take-out orders. As for the food, Vegetable soup- Average! Just a regular vegetable soup, nothing special. Kung pao veggies- My favorite of the meal. Very well flavored and not overcooked. Shrimp with mixed veggies- Just alright. I liked the sauce it was in. Veggie chow mein- Really good. Portion sizes and pricing were great. We also ordered orange chicken and some sort of beef, and the meal came out to about $53 with a bunch of leftovers. Ordered delivery from here which came surprisingly quicker than I anticipated! Staff on the phone was quick and to the point, and they can take your card info over the phone. Had the cream cheese wontons (good), beef and broccoli (good), wonton soup (good), and the entree came with white rice which I have to admit was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious rice. Pretty tasty actually, so I thought I did well.. Until... The chicken is where the fail comes in. The first bite of what looks like plump chunks of Chicken is a burning mouthful of oily batter. Most of the chicken is 78% batter per bite. So you think you have a giant round delicious bite and it turns out to be disappointment of fryer grease and batter basted in some sauce. The dishes are very flavorful and are outstanding on their own. I have to congratulate them on what I believe (-as well as many others) is the BEST ORANGE chicken I've ever had. It's sweet, spicy, tangy, crispy, crunchy and all white meat! You could just pick them up with your fingers and pop them in your mouth!!! So freakin amazing! The location is close to Parish on Olive and there's only one way in and one way out of the parking lot which is a pain. I went inside and I was surprised on how nice it was inside. I walked up and placed an order of spring rolls and chicken fried rice (spicy). to my surprise , my order was ready within 5 minutes. I'm not sure why this place is rated so highly. I ordered wonton soup and beef chow fun - both tasted barely mediocre to me. Wonton soup is usually my favorite soup, but the broth at this place was really bland. The broth basically tasted like water. The noodles in the beef chow fun were not wide like other Chinese restaurants. It also tasted really salty. My family and I have lived in burbank forever. This use too be the place for us to go when craving Chinese food. Unfortunately this is the second time around that I've had bad service. Gathered my family for my daughters birthday dinner and we decided to sit outside, party of 7 and no waiter to refill our drinks. When the waiter does come out to get our drinks and brings them out to us I get the tray of drinks pour on to me. When asked to speak with manager they said no manager available. They did provide me the number to the manager but no one picked up and haven't heard from them since left a detailed voicemail to call me back never heard from them.
