What a fun place to visit! While the location may be hard to find for the non-locals, it is well worth it. The staff was top-notch and smiling the entire time. The ice cream was good and the portions are generous. Just to note, it's not your typical ice cream in that it is all soft serve and each flavor starts with a base (vanilla or chocolate), and then has flavoring interspersed. So, I was just here (I just got home, haha) and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. My niece wanted ice cream from here so badly that she pretty much told me how to get here (I live in Montclair which is about a 15 minute drive but I had no complaints since it was really good). She got the cool mint ice cream cone (a medium, which was surprisingly big) and she finished it...fast. I did not plan on getting anything but decided to get the cheesecake ice cream on my way out and got a little taste before I got in the car...and then proceeded to get caught at red lights on purpose so I could continue eating it, haha. It was fantastic. The inside is on the smaller side (which I liked) and although there were only a few people inside when I was there (we sat for about a hour), I could tell by the almost full garbage can that this place is popular. I assume it is very crowded at night/on weekends. I talked to the owner for a second and she was really nice and the service by the two guys (who looked so familiar!) was quick. What a great little ice cream shop! In addition to their regular flavors they have "special flavors." Tonight they had Pistachio, Punkin Chia, Blue Coconut, etc. This was our first time there and we went at about 8:30 PM (a half hour before closing) and there was a line! The lady (perhaps the owner) and the two girls at the register where helpful and cheerful. We ate the cone outside on their tables...I am sure the cool weather helped the atmosphere, but then again those cones would have been great in the heat. We went there for Penn Elementary Spirit Night. The owner is so wonderful to our school. She hosts a Spirit Night annually for us. Plus she helps out by giving coupons for Mothers' Day. Now, on to the ice cream...My 8 year old twins love the cotton candy flavor. My son tries every combo. We brought in a new neighbor and he gave it a double thumbs up. I come here very often an it is a nice setting with tons of Moose apparel. The inside is fairly spacious with plenty of seating. Outside there is a sitting area for even more people which is nice for when they are open during the summer. There are plenty of flavors with a "Flavor of the Day". I can never get enough of the Cake Batter, and my friend can never get enough of the Pumpkin. The wait is never too long and it is always well worth it. For prices; With just $10 I was able to get more than both myself and a friend could eat for two weeks. The price is absolutely great, and the taste better. While the soft serve here is good there are other issues that cause the one star rating. I had been a frequent customer with my husband over the summer and the negatives sent me looking for an ice cream place elsewhere. The location is not at all the best when you want to sit outside on a nice day. The traffic outside is loud and more loud! No fault of the place just bad location. While I am a huge animal lover I don't appreciate when a dog stands on a table. And that is what I saw outside. I eat at many outdoor restaurants in Old Town Alexandria where dogs are welcome and have never witnessed something like that before. Along with that, dogs that are inside that are handled by kids. Kids holding leashes and the child has not control of the animal. The owner was there at the time and said nothing. Sorry, business lost. read more

I've been to this place 6 times in the last 3 weeks. I am not a huge fan of soft serve, but theirs is delicious. Their sundae is my favorite. I always get vanilla/chocolate swirl, half peanut butter sauce, half chocolate fudge, m&ms, and whipped cream on top. Try it! You won't regret it. read more

Wow. All the other reviews brought us to this magnificent ice cream dream. It's as delicious as everyone says. I had the coconut swirled with coffee cream and was in heaven. We stopped by on the way to the Pfitzner Stadium to watch some baseball and am so glad we did. The front door faces Hoadly street and is situated in the ground floor of a brick office building.
