Delicious Chinese food! I have been having no luck finding GOOD Chinese food in the Puyallup area. Finally decided to try this place out and am glad we did! Lots of flavor and good portions. We have the chow mein, orange chicken, szechuan chicken. They have a house special crispy beef, it was okay. They need to add more sauce to it, because it was waaay too dry. When I first went to this restuarant (when it first opened) the food was great and tasted so fresh! Now that is has been opened for a little while they have began to slack and it tastes as if it was already made and they just put back on the stove to warm it up. The rice is crunchy rather than soft and the flavors are not all the way there. I don't know if they got new cooks or just became careless since they are one of the few "Chinese" restaurants in puyallup. If you are nearby and want something quick go ahead but get chow mein rather than the fried rice. Saw the reviews on yelp and was skeptical. Got there and always surprised to see they had replaced the old pizza place across from the sheriffs office. Placed my order for pickup on the yelp app, quick and easy. Order came out quicker then the quoted time. Drove it home anxious and when I opened it wow it all looked and smelled great. Put notes on the order to leave out stuff in the Kung pao chicken and they did it no problem. The orange chicken I got had to be the best I have had smells and tastes awesome like real orange none of that fake orange chicken you get from fast food Chinese. Potstickers where outstanding lots of inside not lots of gross breeding like you get at most spots. So yummy! It was more to deliver but only because it was through a third party delivery service. But you can pick it up. Don't let it fool you because it's on the side of an Arco gas station. The recipe and food quality is great! Their fried rice is fresh and seasoned. Their general Tso chicken was so plump and meaty and the breading was thin and you get more meat. Their egg rolls were big and fresh. They remembered everything including napkins, sporks, soy sauce, and fortune cookies! Very delicious sauce and it was generously coated over the chicken. I liked how the rice is packaged separately from the entrée. Better than Panda Express and it's run and owned by a family. I should get a job as a food critic lol. We ordered take out and it was ready to go when I arrived. The service was friendly and ordering through Yelp was convenient. I ordered sweet and sour shrimp, almond chicken, some spicy beef dish and spicy dumplings. The dumplings were delicious and fresh tasting. I think I ordered too many fried dishes, which is my own fault. I don't know if it is because it took me a while to get home with the food, but the fried oil taste was very strong. Service was great, but we did not care too much for the dishes we ordered. First time order! Delivery was fast and accurate. Ordered General Tso, Happy Family, Mongolian Beef and FryPan Special Chow Mein. General Tso Chicken was prepared well with a good glaze sauce. Chicken appeared to be fresh and not the frozen chicken passed off by other chinese food in the area. Chow Mein noodles were very good. Mongolian Beef - Beef was prepared well, tender and flavorful. Way too many onions. The Happy Family was difficult to distinguish from the Special chow mein in terms of flavor and sauce. Fried rice was doable. We'll be ordering again! read more

My husband and I have ordered from here a handful of times. Their delivery time is fairly quick, even during peak times. Their entree sizes are healthy sized portions. Their veggies are always cooked just right and the meats aren't skimped on. The only issue we have had with this place was an order mix up that was quickly addressed and fixed despite busy delivery drivers. The Singapore noodles are made with the clear rice noodles and have a slight curry flavor. My daughter loves the sugar doughnuts. I love the fact that everything is fresh and handmade. Right down to those awesome crab and cheese wontons! The owners are super cool and the girls at the front counter are very polite and helpful! We were looking for a place that we hadn't tried yet for Chinese food we decided on Fry Pan. The menu had a good selection of food for both lunch and dinner. The prices were also reasonable. We ordered Mongolian beef, honey Walnut chicken, and sweet & sour chicken all with fried rice. We asked for extra rice noodles on the Mongolian beef. I literally had to push everything aside to find the rice noodles as there was not much there. That was disappointing as that is my favorite part of Mongolian beef. The flavor was good though but not very spicy. The honey Walnut chicken looked delicious! But it was all breading. We actually cut into several pieces and the chicken inside was the side of a nickel (if you were lucky to get that big) and the breading was the side of a 50 cent piece. There were some pieces with no chicken at all and it was just breading. Again, the flavor was good though. We will continue our search for great Chinese food on South Hill. read more

Wow. These reviews clearly don't represent the customer experience I had. The broccoli beef should probably be called broccoli with beef sauce. It certainly didn't grab my attention with the flavor. And the same is true of the fried rice. The quality of the food was at best average, I was disappointed. Especially based on the reviews I've seen on yelp. The portions are not what I would call generous. Especially since there was this very significant lack of beef, not that it wasn't there just that it was sparse. PRO TIP for the owner: A loyalty program is there to ensure that your customers are loyal and that they return. I originally thought they didn't deliver to Lipoma Firs but I gave her my address and turns out they do! I ordered 2 entrees with fried rice sides and chicken chow mein. Total was $40 but the special is only 45.99! And comes with WAY more food! See my photo! I'm a regular chinese food delivery eater, for the Spanaway area, this is pretty good, definitely the best you can get for it's price, for the amount you get it's cheap compared to other places. $50 here is $100+ at other places for portions. Taste is on point too. I was worried about the General Tso's looking at the pictures, but I'm glad I went with it.
