We ordered delivery couple nights ago and love it! Love that there is somewhere else to order delivery other than pizza! We live towards graham more, so our delivery options are very limited. Food was delicious. I was honestly expecting "okay" food but it's pretty good. We had chow mein with beef, BBQ pork fried rice, kung Pao tofu, and Kung Pao chicken. We ordered the Kung Pak chicken without spicy stuff and kids loved it! Kung Pao tofu was awesome. Usually tofu dishes are so plain but they flavored it so good. Only our first time getting takeout here but I cannot come up with any deductions, hence five stars. I had General Tso Chicken (spice level of very spicy) with fried rice and Kimi had Sweet and Sour Chicken with fried rice. I also got Hot and Sour Soup. All three were the best versions we have ever had. They were very fresh looking and tasting and were not as heavy as other Chinese joints. Although you did not mistake what the dishes were, they had unique flavors that really made you say, "wow! That's different...in a good way." This was the 3rd time we have ordered from Fry Pan. The first two times, we ordered the sesame chicken and fried rice. Soooo good. This time, I was a little under the weather and I opted for the egg drop soup and salt and pepper tofu. Both were unedible. The soup had no flavor and the tofu had a weird gooey mushy coating. Just saw a delivery driver advertising them so I thought I'd give it a try. One of the things I ordered was sweet and sour chicken, and I asked for extra sweet and sour sauce. Not only did they not bring any extra sauce....they didn't give me any sauce. So I got plain, no flavor chicken. And the texture of all the fried items ( chicken, wontons, pot stickers)... can something be crunchy and stale at the same time? It all was. Add in a $7 delivery charge and I would say this was the worst $50 I have ever spent. I will NOT be ordering from here again. read more

First time ordering from Fry Pan and I really liked it. I didn't get anything fancy and it wasn't oily, but had a nice crunch. If anything, the shrimp was heavily battered. I ordered through Dash Door and was pleasantly surprised how hot it was when it arrived. Will order again. read more

The first time we went to the Fry Pan we ordered the General Tso chicken and the Szechuan Chicken. It was amazing! No complaints and I'd give probably five stars. However, our most recent meal has left me feeling like we were burned by the Fry Pan. We ordered the Mongolian Beef and the Crispy Chili Chicken. The beef was very very rubbery and almost inedible. Several times I had to pull the beef out of my mouth and rip it apart with my utensils or fingers in order to get it down. The "crispy" chicken was far from crispy. It was soggy with too much breading, and zero flavor. The spiciness was on point, but that is it. I would recommend sticking to the general tso or Szechuan meals. read more

Very timely for delivery,much faster than the estimate given even on a saturday evening. Last night was our first time ordering from them. Portions are plentiful and the food was good but does fall on the greasy side as others have said. I love that they offered a vegan/vegetarian variety but do be cautious. I ordered the garlic sauce eggplant and vegetable fried rice. The eggplant had thin slices of pork or chicken in it though it was listed as meatless .... at first i was not sure if this was a mistake or not but i looked closer and there was a lot of meat in it. This has made me a bit cautious on ordering here in the future as i am unable to digest meat and am very careful to avoid it. So just be careful if you do have any diet restrictions. Was bummed as we were relaxing at home on my birthday and ordered in but I was not able to eat the meal i ordered. read more

I ordered food for delivery, they recited my address back to me and I specified that I'm not at home. I gave them the address where I want the food delivered, but this required several attempts for them to get the address correct. The driver then showed up 42 minutes later stating that he was sorry, "they gave me your address at your usual place so I drove all the way over there" When I placed the order I asked for a variety of hot sauce, as I prefer my food spicier than most people, and I also requested 2 sets of chop sticks. After a wait of more than 40 minutes, I opened the bag to find that the sweet and sour chicken I ordered for the kids had no sweet and sour sauce. No sauce or seasoning what so ever. Have you tried sweet and sour chicken without the sweet and sour sauce? It's really quite terrible. The hot sauce I requested was not present, nor the chopsticks I requested. I ordered 2 entrees and a bowl of soup and paid $35 plus a $10 tip for the driver and the only thing worth eating is the soup. $45 dollars for a bowl of soup and I still have to make dinner for the kids because they wont eat the not-so-sweet-or-sour chicken. I called to relate my dissatisfaction, and was immediately surprised by the total lack of concern with which I was treated. No apology, no concern, just "wait, what was your address again? your name was John, right?" "where are you again" I sat for a few minutes and listened to the girl on the phone, very "matter of fact-ly" relate the details to her manager, and told her to just refund it. At this point, I'm done with this. Sher returned to the phone after a lengthy conversation with her manager, which I clearly overheard (probably should have put me on hold) and said "we'll take off the chicken but that's it" I make mistakes, just like everyone else. The difference here is, I rectify my mistakes, and in situations like this, where multiple mistakes were made, I make very sure that my clientele is very aware that I am sorry for the mistake, and I make very sure that I make it right with them. They made no such effort and acted with a strangely aloof attitude about the entire situation. It would appear they are quite Ok with this level of incompetence, and are accustomed to dealing the repercussions. Lesson learned, $45 wasted, and I'm still hungry read more

Decided to try this place since we noticed it was now open. Worth the trip!! Young guys at the counter were nice and friendly. Ordered the Fry Pan Crispy Chili Chicken with Chow Mein. It was much better than most Chinese food I have had. It wasn't the greasy, slimy or sauce covered food you would unfortunately expect from most Chinese Restaurants. Very well seasoned and well prepared. We will be definitely going back again. Maybe even this week!! Looking forward to trying more options. Good to have a local Chinese restaurant instead of Panda Express. Again, very quick and friendly service. read more

My husband and I waited months for Fry Pan to open and we ordered, Szechuan Dumplings, Vegetable Egg Rolls, Kung Pao Chicken, Cashew Nut Chicken and Fry Pan Special Chow Mein and everything was wonderful. Being half Japanese I am very picky about Asian food and since I moved to Puyallup from the DC metro area two years ago I have not been able to find good Chinese food. Even though Fry Pan is a take out restaurant, it is now our go to place for Chinese food. I read that some people complained about the lengthy delivery time. Anytime I have ever ordered pizza or Chinese for delivery anywhere it is going to take at least 45 - 60 minutes for delivery. The food is cooked to order and then you have to factor in the driving time. Fry Pan is not fast food, it's cooked fresh and they have multiple orders that preceded yours. If you want fast food Chinese, that has been sitting under heat lamps then go to Panda Express. If you want fresh cooked, then Fry Pan is the place to go. read more

Went here for the first time today and I just had to review. I love Chinese food and I've been looking for a good place around here (all I found was shady buffet places). I ordered General Tso's Chicken and Orange chicken (carry out). Not only were the dishes delicious, one order could definitely feed two people. The fried rice that came with it was A+ as well.
