Came in tonight to try the fuego taco and I am so pleased. The customer service was great and the taco is worth coming in for as well as the vast selection of desserts. It's in a tucked away spot off the freeway so look out for their sign on the sidewalk. All of the food was amazing and their strawberry juice was refreshing. All of the staff work well together because our order came fairly quickly. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend. The only thing I could suggest is adding more seating but otherwise it's a great vibe inside. read more

If you would like to have your day made 10x more difficult, please come here!!! I've been here 3 times since December and each time I have had an experience worse than the time before. Each visit, I've experienced horrible customer service but this visit was notably disappointing. I called in at around 2pm and a lady named Jennifer answered the line. I asked for a veggie burrito and all she says is that they have no veggie burritos nor veggie options. I'm confused because their menu has plenty of burrito options that can all be made without the meat so for her to just tell me that it was impossible was strange. So then when I asked if I could just get a bean and cheese burrito she said that they don't accept orders over the phone!!! Crazy because the last two times I ordered from here I ordered over the phone. SOOOO, I had to order on DoorDash and they gave me no options to add items into my burrito so I asked for guacamole and sour cream. When I get to Fuego to pick up my order, I asked whether they did phone orders and a man (not the lady that I talked to on the phone) told me that they do indeed take phone orders. Haha.... Then when I ask for my DoorDash order he proceeds to tell me he didn't put sour cream nor guacamole in my burrito because there's an additional charge for that... OK THEN WHY ISNT THAT AN OPTION IN YOUR DOORDASH? Like what?! I could've paid for the additional toppings had I been given the chance. So I just decided to cancel the order all the way after having gone through this much to not even get a simple veggie burrito. (Which btw I've been able to get from them the very first time I ordered - which they also made a struggle for me until I had to tell them LOOK ITS FINE I WILL PAY for the meat burrito just don't put meat in it. (But today since I wasn't even given the option to be able to speak with the staff over the phone to place the order I couldn't do that) Haha and when I had gone to pick it up unsurprisingly I had to ask them to remake it because they still put the meat in the burrito) All in all - This restaurant has the worst, most illiterate staff. I've only been here once and it was just a pickup order but I got the fuego fries and it was an excessive amount of cheese. Waaaaay too much. I'm not saying it's a bad place, I'm still excited to try everything else especially the birria! And I love that it's women owned! I'll just have to specify I would like way less cheese next time. read more

Came in during the grand opening. Had high hopes as I seen food from the soft opening the day before and it looked great. Food looked really good however everything was barely warm. Being the first customer who put in the first order of the day I don't think it's to high of a expectations have hot food. After mentioning it to friends I think we got leftovers from the day before, only explanation I can think of. My friend got the surf n turf burrito, they forgot her shrimp and it had onions in it which doesn't say in the description. No biggie she asked for it to be redone. Burrito was small and after looking through pictures from the soft opening I think they ran out of the large tortillas and used regular ones. I got the cup of corn with hot Cheetos on top. Like everything else it wasn't hot just slightly warm. I mean it's corn so there was nothing to prepare really just add topping so I liked it. I also got the fries with carne asada. The fries again weren't hot just warm like they've been sitting or weren't properly heated. They were nice and crispy not soggy at all though. Flavor was good on the carne asada meat. Also got a fuego taco. They used cold cheese on top which made the overall taste change. Tortilla was ok but I wouldn't spend the extra money on it again to be honest, tasted like a regular corn tortilla. My other friend got the fish taco and the fish wasn't cooked all the way so that one had to be redone as well. Fish was lacking flavor and the batter made it soggy. She also got regular tacos they are well priced but they are mini corn tortillas sized so you definitely get what you paid for price wise. Best thing I had that day was the orange pineapple Agua Fresca fuego style. That was really good. The watermelon one was to sweet for me. Might try again to give it a second try but being the first day and being the first customer I would've thought they would've put everything they had into the order so I was let down. read more

Tl,dr: great food, good value; kitchen is a little slow, but worth the wait We were going to go to another Mexican restaurant to eat out tonight, but decided to give this new place a try. I should start off by saying that the party I was with was initially a bit put-off when they first walked in - the decor was not what we were expecting, and anybody with a large party might have to consider that they have few tables (though they do have bar seating and a pair of sofas as well). It just wasn't what they were expecting out of a sit-down restaurant. They also found the menu to be a bit confusing (another party that came in after us seemed to be struggling to work it out as well, though that could just be projection). But those petty gripes aside, we were really glad that we gave it a chance - everything we ordered was delicious, and for any restaurant, it's the food that really matters in the end. Fuego Craving's "gimmick" is using dusted hot cheetos in their signature fuego menu items (all of which are available in non-fuego variants for those who hate the idea of that). We tried the fuego tacos with asada (spicy grilled beef) and al pastor (pork) varieties, and were very happy with both of these. The fuego variety hit home for me and for the other person in my group who tried it, even in spite of his ambivalence towards hot cheetos in general. For the tacos, at least, the corn tortillas are made with the hot cheeto powder infused into the corn, with a dusting of powder to top the finished taco. We also ordered a classic burrito, loaded nachos, elote, and chips and salsa. They apparently make their own chips fresh, so you may have to wait a bit to get them if you're expecting something quick to go with your drinks, but it was very good as nachos go. The person in my party who ordered the burrito was very satisfied with it - very meaty, very flavorful. Two of us tried the elote, which is a spin on Mexican street corn that involves - you guessed it - dusted hot cheetos powder. Each cob was full-sized and coated very generously with cheese and cheeto powder on top of that. While I like a lot more heat in elote than this offered, the flavor was still delicious in its own right. A worthwhile spin on a classic snackfood. We also tried quesobirria tacos and dulce nachos for dessert. The quesobirria ended up being a favorite for the rest of my group - fried tacos with a generous amount of melted cheese and, in this case, very succulent shredded beef. The dessert dulce nachos were excellent - they're offered with your choice of several varieties of ice cream and chocolate or caramel sauce drizzle on top, atop a bed of fried tortilla chips coated in generous amounts of cinnamon and sugar. A very satisfying dessert. One member of the party was shocked to learn how cheap they were for much we got; three of us split the dessert easily. In fact, for the quality and amount of food, pretty much everything we ordered seemed to be well worth the price. At first glance, it might seem to be a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for, for sure; all of us went home full and satisfied, and if we weren't trying a bunch of different items, the bill would have ended up being fairly modest. And although it did take a while for our food to come out, in the end we were very happy that we gave it a chance. It seems that the people running the place (possibly the owners, though I didn't stop to ask at the time) are still trying to find their footing with running a restaurant like this, and it's probably extra-challenging due to how many different kinds of things they've got on the menu (we weren't out to drink tonight, so we passed on some really delicious looking sangria and fruit cocktails this time; they've got several kinds of ice cream; and of course, the relatively diverse food menu). But everything we tried from all over the menu was a winner, and we'll definitely be back for more. It seems like they take phone orders, so I think for our schedules, we'll likely be adding Fuego Cravings into our take-out dinner rotation, bumping the previous taco take-out place off the list. If you're willing to wait though, speaking for myself, I warmed up to the atmosphere of the place the longer I was there. Both of the people working there at the time we went were friendly and seemed to enjoy being there, unlike a lot of places we've been where the employees just seem to be counting the hours until they can leave. I think Fuego Cravings must be a passion project for them. It's weird, it's experimental, it's a little inefficient, but it works, and we loved it, and I think they do to. read more

Horrible service and overpriced food! I waited about 35 minutes to get my food and was the only one in the restaurant. I ordered for two people and the bill was about $40 I might as well should of gone to a nice sit down Mexican restaurant. Been here twice already and both times food was really good. Price is reasonable, what I like most about this place is there way of thinking when it comes to food combos example their carne sada fries are with curly fries instead of regular ones. The worker are very helpful. The only down side is the decor it's a weird setup very few sit down chairs and tables. It's not like they dont have the room. The place is a nice size for more sit down. They have TV screen and awesome picture on the wall of famous historical people. read more
