    QUESADILLA SPECIAL
    Jessica L.

Relaxed and chill Mexican spot. We had a group of 6 and came in kind of late for dinner and they were very nice not pushing us to clean up and go. Unlimited chips and salsa. We got a quesadilla to share and it came with 2 bowls of consommé. It could use more cheese inside. I hope one day they have a salsa station! Next time I hope to try the birria ramen!

This restaurant is casual. It has a semi fast food atmosphere. There are plenty of tables indoors, as well as, outdoor patio tables. Television screens mounted on the walls. Clean and sparse, nothing fancy. I ordered the Birria ramen. Honestly, it was a little too salty and the noodles tasted exactly like the ramen noodles you buy at the grocery store, packaged in plastic. The meat was not high quality either. I enjoyed my drink. Service was friendly and efficient. Parking: Free, covered outdoor mall parking.

Got the Classic Burrito with asada and no rice plus Chips & Guacamole Sauce. The burrito was tasty. The chips were medium thickness and crispy. The guacamole sauce was creamy. Service was very friendly.

    Taco Tuesday

Looking for a new Taco Tuesday spot and this place popped up! I'm pretty picky about my street tacos but I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised! I tried, carne, pastor, carnitas n chicken (in order from favorite to least). But I thought they were all good!! What I really enjoyed was it was not greasy as some tacos can be. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is due to the place is kinda hidden in the mall area. Which why I think there were not many patrons inside. But once you find it, it's a nice clean location and the gentleman at the counter was very nice n explained the top items they are known for. Which is birria. It's a short drive for us, so we will definitely be back to try out some new items. If you're in the area, give it a try!

    Fuego Nachos with chicken
    Michelle K.

I tried the Fuego Nachos this time and chose chicken for my meat and asked for the jalapenos on the side. It was good and they would have been perfect if the chicken wasn't a bit dried out. The chicken bits had a good flavor though. Maybe it was pre-cooked? I don't know. The service is always good here and the other dishes I had here have been yummy but the chicken bits on the nachos... not so much. :/

This time I got the taquitos, and they were pretty good! Definitely a little challenging to eat, but tasted good. And they tasted very fresh which was a perk. Would go here again!

The sign on the door showing birria was very enticing so I decided to try this place for dinner after my workout. It's right in the center of the outside mall across from the Christmas tree. When I walked in around 6pm there was only one family there but a few people were coming in for pickup. I ordered the quesabirria and the fuego taco with asada. It took about 5 minutes to get my order. When the lady Mariela brought the food, I noticed there wasn't any salsa or Birria sauce in the side. I've never had a birria taco without the Birria sauce. That's the whole reason I ordered that taco. When I asked her where was the sauce, she said did you want sauce? I said yes and can I get salsa too. She said red or green and I said both. She looked a little perturbed that I said that which is weird because don't most people want salsa with their Mexican food? Lol. The family waiting for their take out heard our interaction and made sure to ask if there was salsa in their bag too. The quesabirria was good and hit the spot. I really should have just had that. First off it's cheaper than the fuego taco and it tastes much better. The fuego taco with asada was not good at all. The asada was way too salty for my liking. I used all the salsa and had to dip that taco in my birria sauce to make it edible. I asked for a spoon and once again Mariela seemed annoyed with me. Maybe she was just having a bad day but she never thanked me, checked on me (the only diner in the restaurant), or said bye or anything when I left...not even a smile. Even though the quesabirria was good, her vibe was bad. All in all I wouldn't come back here or recommend this spot to people at my Equinox gym nearby. There's so many other spots in the area so next time I'm in Rolling Hills Estates, I will try them out.

Good service really nice people. The drinks are fire the lime and cucumber. Fresca is fire. I come here all the time. Food is good too. Customer service the best. The owner really nice.

Had some lunch here for the first time & had an overall good experience! The menu had a good variety of different Mexican dishes so it feels like there's something for everyone, even their extensive list of birria dishes which all sounded good! The customer service was okay, but overall would be open to coming back in and trying something new on the menu since my group & I enjoyed our meals!

I've been here before, and the birria tacos were exactly what I needed for a late-night craving. Crispy on the outside with a good amount of filling and strong flavor - they really hit the spot. I ended up having four of them. The consomé on the side was really good too - rich and flavorful, almost something I could've just had on its own. The street tacos were solid. The carnitas had that tender, slightly crisp texture, and the al pastor added a bit more seasoning and contrast. Nothing overcomplicated, just straightforward and satisfying. Service was friendly, and the setup is quick and casual. In the South Bay where places tend to close early, it was nice that they were open until around 10pm. I ordered some steak nachos as an appetizer with my friends based on a photo I saw on Yelp. 12/10. beautiful!!! They put a healthy portion of meat on it! Everything was just so spot on. We ordered a few tacos off the happy hour menu: fish taco, fried shrimp taco, chicken mole, and asada. Did not expect them to be as big as they were! Between two of us, we were stuffed from 4 tacos and could barely finish them. I really liked the chicken mole. However, I got the scooner of Max's marg and thought that it was sorta of weak. Couldn't taste much tequila.
