I was excited to learn there is a vegan option. Sadly what I got was a taco with chunks of jackfruit straight out of a can that seemed to have been briefly dunked in a light broth and drained. What I had hoped for was shredded jackfruit stewed in a rich birria sauce as I've had in vegan restaurants elsewhere and are delicious. While I appreciate the added vegan protein option, the flavor and presentation is not there. Beans may be vegan, rice is not as has chicken broth. No vegan cheese. read more

We went into the restaurant on a Sunday night after my sons hockey game about 20 mins before closing. The woman working was not pleasant and looked annoyed for us to be there. She was rude when I was placing our order. Then it took approx. 15 mins to prepare our food which I placed as a dine in order. She brought our food and had it all packaged in to go containers. I said I placed a dine in order. She said well we close in 5 mins eat as much as you can during that time. Extremely rude and not accomodating to customers. I worked in a restaurant and never made a customer feel like they need to leave when they came in right before closing. Not to mention I paid $13 for a burrito that had hard terrible tasting carne asada that they probably heated up from 2 days ago. Gross! Def would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

The tacos here are loaded! It's probably 2.5x the amount of meat on each taco than any other taco place. The tacos tasted freshly made and held together pretty well. I got the 1 surf and turf taco, and 1 asada taco. 2 tacos are very filling. I didn't try the birria because I just wanted a quick snack while waiting for my son at Code Ninja's. Note: this place is pricey, but given the portion size, not out of proportion. I'll bring the fam by next time and see what they think. read more

Wow, this place has a birria ramen noodles. wow! it was good, they put the spicy sauce on the side and you have to add half of it in the bowl. It gives a kick to the soup. This is the first time trying this restaurant and it was my son who wanted to try the ramen. Good choice by him. will come back to try other items on the menu. read more

I ordered the surf and turf burrito and there was a ton of shrimp and a good amount of steak inside of it. The only reason I'm giving four instead of five stars was because it was loaded with rice Way too much rice but that being said the burrito was huge and save it really good. Salsa is good as well. I had been wanting to try this place because the location is convenient in the PV mall and the pictures of the tacos looked so good. I had heard from other friends that this restaurant wasn't that good, but I did not know why they felt that. A group of us went on a weekend lunch time, and we waited approx 20 minutes for the order of 3 street tacos, chips, sodas, and a quesadilla. Although the staff looked like they were working hard, this was a long wait and the food came out disappointing. The chicken in the street tacos was very dry and had little flavor, the soda was flat, and the other customers waiting for their orders appeared agitated. I was hoping for tasty food here, in this location frequented by so many in this area, but it wasn't that for me. When I mentioned to my group that the chicken was dry and I was surprised, someone said yes we don't come here because they've had the food, and it is not good. I'm very hopeful this will all improve. read more

If I could give this place a zero star I would. The ambiance is ok. We got a strange vibe. It's a walk-up counter and you order food so I can't comment on the service. The food presentation was good but the food was too salty. If you dine in you will be surrounded by flat screens similar to a sports bar. I came with my family and children on May 25th. They were playing sexually suggestive music videos with bump and grind dancing and thong wearing gyrating booties on the screen. This is not the place or time for this. Unless you're into that kind of stuff. I do not recommend this restaurant to families that have young children. I told the hostess to please turn off the flatscreen. The owner of this restaurant will probably never see this yelp review. But if he/she does he can contact me. I was shocked at how terrible the "ramen" was! The noodles are instant and there was very little flavor. It doesn't resemble any ramen I have ever had at a restaurant. The owner explained it was based on the instant ramen Mexicans have at home. I explained that we have all made instant ramen, but when I eat out, I expect restaurant ramen, not something I could make at home for much less. They also don't have chopsticks, so you have to eat the "ramen" with a fork and spoon, which is awkward. read more

I ordered the 2 Quesabirria taco special with rice and beans and a drink. Ok the tacos themselves were pretty good and although the consome wasn't thick, it still had flavor. So overall taco a 4/5. However the rice and beans were a bit oversalted and came out the kitchen cold which is why the overall dish was 3/5. The aqua Fresca were very tasty I got the Pina and the cucumber one. I've been wanting to try birria ramen for a while now and after reading all the positive reviews I decided on Fuego. I ordered through door dash and guess what? they forgot the ramen! Just my luck. But I did receive everything else I ordered. Quesabirria- good, lime was old and dried out esquites- terrible, tastes and looks like canned corn Asada burrito- terrible, meat is super salty, inedible the rice is old and sticky and it was missing cheese. Chips and guacamole- salty inedible. And I like salt. I have not had food this bad in along time. Now I'm out 45$ and still hungry. I should have stuck with Taco Bell. read more

We decided to try this place out of curiosity. It definitely lacked flavor but the consommé was the saving grace for the tacos. The rice was a little stale/old and the beans were okay. They give a good portion of meat so that's a bonus. I would come back again if I had a taco craving and didn't want to travel to Torrance/LA. read more

This review is just for the Birria Ramen which for me is a skip. It's clear the ramen is from like a package of top ramen dropped into the birria consume. It wouldn't be hard to run down to h-mart and just get some fresh noodles, so the quality would be way better. Also a little weird to serve the ramen in a to-go container with plastic utensils when I chose to eat there. It just feels kind of cheap and hard to eat when not in a bowl. read more

The beef Birria tacos with consommé are amazing here. There aren't very many good Birria places in the South Bay and one just happens to open up on the hill. The tacos are larger than a street taco so they are decently sized. The consommé is probably good enough for 2 people. Great flavor and great service. I'm definitely coming back. This could be a weekly thing. Seating is plentiful inside with about 10-12 tables. The outdoor patio on the side was not set up but if outdoors is your thing there are the other general community tables available on the main walkway. Hopefully when things warm up they will open the patio on the side. read more
