My new local spot! Parking is plentiful if you come early or find parking in the neighborhoods and take a little walk which is easy because you're right on the beach anyways! The service is wonderful and the staff cares to work up a relationship with their customers which feels nice these days. I got the #13 (Tamale and Enchilada with rice and beans) My partner got the wet beef matcha a burrito and both were served hot as heck and deliciously fresh! I've heard about this place and I was close by today so i decided if i can find a spot to park I'll try it. Luckily for me i found one pretty easy. I was greeted with a smile when I walked in I was told to pick any seat, my server I had was nice. Answered my questions that I had since it was my first time there. I had the combination one taco and one enchilada with rice and beans for $17. I tried a ground beef taco and chicken enchilada and it was delicious! The taco shell was crispy and hot and the enchilada/beans were cheesy. Yum. Over all I will be back! The place is small and it is near the beach so, parking can get crazy plus, you will have to pay to park but the atmosphere and view were great! read more

Located in the Riviera Village. Parking is a little hard. We parked in he residential zone and walked which was nice. We sat outside to see the amazing sunset. Service was friendly and fast. This is one of our fav Mexican restaurants, especially for $2 taco Tuesdays. Very friendly, courteous, and prompt service. We like the tacos here because the meats are more flavorful whether it's carne asada, carnitas, or chicken, always flavorful. Nice ambience with gentle Spanish music playing in the background. Tips: for taco Tuesday, each person must order a drink. They are happy to give refills for iced tea and let you take them to go. I was able to have two meals from each burrito because they are giant. Also, it was a couple days after getting the CA burrito & I forgot I had it in my fridge. Never knew this place was here and glad a Friend introduced us for Taco Tuesday's. Loved that they had outside tables and you can see the beach and get a nice breeze but bring a sweater cause it gets chilly in the afternoon. Our friends for their usual albondigas soup and they loved it! The ambiance of this place is pretty chill they have indoor seating and the Bar is inside and they have outdoor seating as well with heaters. The bathrooms were very clean as well. It's kinda hit or miss with parking but we were able to get a parking close by. For being Mexican food it tasted very close to home and homemade loved the fluffy rice and the beans were yummy! Their salsa and Tostadas were delicious for someone who loves chips and salsa these were a 10/10 very flavorful salsa. I came here at the same time as the farmers market and it was very busy. For a party of two we waited about 20 mins before we got seated. We were seated on the outside area around sunset and it got pretty chilly even with the heaters. I would recommend a jacket. Our server looked like she was taking care of the entire outdoor area by herself and was very overworked. Despite this she was very kinda and patient with explaining the menu and did not rush us when ordering. We got a margarita flight which was very strong but good. For our food we got a chimichanga and a carnitas burrito. It was the perfect amount of food we were full with no leftovers. I would definitely come back everything was delicious. This is a consistently delicious Mexican food gem that I go to quite often. Their carnitas are absolutely drool worthy and their al pastor is seasoned so well. Fajitas, also a flavor bomb and the made to order guacamole, though pricy, WORTH IT!! The folks who work there are very efficient and so friendly. Met some friends for lunch and Mi Burrito was the place. Was quite happy to try a New Mexican place where I could also enjoy a margarita! Mai Burrito though small, has ample space for small groups (we were a party of 4) and has an inviting patio to enjoy your meal. We started with an order of mini chimi's and a plate of taquitos. Both were delicious! I'd definitely come back just for them. A friend and I shared the Mi Burrito with asada and were quite happy with the selection! Our server was so nice and friendly! Very attentive and made sure our margaritas were never empty! Perfect timing for checking on the table! Excellent place for a Taco Tuesday outing! My grandma and I ordered off the taco Tuesday special menu. I had the Jr Burrito with carnitas for $13 which was LOADED with meat. My grandma ordered the 3 tacos for $10.99. Both of these specials include a soft drink. I also ordered the piña colada, which apparently is shaken here, not blended. Absolutely phenomenal! I almost had two. The service was good, it did take a few minutes to get our drinks but other than that, definitely a great place for a lunch special and a cocktail. read more

Mi Burrito, Redondo is so good! This review is long overdue but here we go... parking for me wasn't an issue -- found some up the street (just read the signs to make sure it's okay to park). Walked up with a family member and we were greeted and asked where would we like to sit. We choice outside! Our Waiter: Joseè was quite the character! Super funny, joking with us from start to finish. We ordered: + shredded chicken burrito + tostada salad WHEN IT'S QUIET THATS HOW YOU KNOW THE FOOD IS GOOD! We had no complaints! Food temp was good, salsa was good, tostadas to share were good! I recommend this location and will continue to patron here as opposed to the Cerritos location. Really enjoyed both the food and the service here! Came on Monday for dinner and the tacos and plates here are amazing. The portion is pretty big and the tacos are worth the price paid! I would recommend coming here on Tuesday for taco Tuesday and they also have happy hour from 3:30-6pm on the weekdays. The meat was more like carnitas that was cooked placed in a fridge and then cooked again. Wasn't fresh at all. And the price I could have gotten two pieces of steaks. This weekend, my sister and I both happened to be at Mom's, so I took the opportunity to take a little drive toward the beach. I went in to ask a few questions about "customizing" a couple of tacos for me and they did not disappoint. I got an Ensenada fish taco and a crispy carnitas taco. It's similar El Burrito Jr. The service is friendly and the food comes out fairly quick. They bring out chips and salsa. Ambiance - It is very basic. Bandera or mariachi style music playing. A bar with some neon signs. Outdoor patio seating is a big plus. Bottom line, would I go back? Yes.
