I went to this location and it's at the food lab. This is about my fourth time being there. The food is always good. It was good this time as well. The only problem I had was with the service the lady who took my order finished drinking as she's looking at me and I'm standing at the counter finally walked over and took my order, and then the young lady in the back preparing the food, had a sucker in her mouth as she's preparing her food. I had a worst customer service experience here. I couldn't even get her name I was so frustrated with her to whoever you are around 5:30 pm. Please seek a new job where your happy. Placed a order here to where I guess apparently the food lab system is down she claimed to be a manager and as she explained I get it but you didn't need to be rude when I asked about getting a refund. You didn't need to get hyped to where I thought you were gonna curse me out. Ok wow! I ordered some late night delivery from Fufu's at like 9pm on a Thursday. I got the vegan kafta wrap with a side of garlic sauce, and it blew me away. The flavor explosion in my mouth was unexpected, but oh so welcome. It had pickled turnips, onions, tomatoes, tahini, and vegan garlic sauce. I got even more garlic sauce to dip it in, and it was the right move for sure. You can't go wrong with that tangy extra garlic sauce. The wrap was also super fresh and homemade. The only bad part is the price $17, which was way more than any of the meat options, but I would totally get it again despite the steep price tag. I'm looking forward to trying more of their menu too. They have cauliflower offerings as well that looked really good, so I'm definitely ready for round 2. read more

Place is good when you're looking for food on the go. Order ahead of time to save yourself a wait which IS NORMAL FOR FOOD that is cooked to order and not microwave people. The grape leaves were cold and also I'm pretty sure it's just store bought from a Red Tomato's or any Middle eastern supermarket. I did end up warming them up at home and they tasted amazing afterwards. The zatar bread was folded in half when given so all the zatar was only on one side while the crust was like a brick and the only really good thing was the wings but also... I sure hope so cause that would be embarrassing if they didn't know how to make wings. The tabouli also seemed store bought and was dry. Their food was full of flavor their were marinaded amazingly, so We decided to give it a try at this new location. It was completely the different. Inside Riverside Food Lab, Fufu's has some excellent food, but they are unable to keep up with orders. Fufu's suffers from two critical issues. First, they do not have a good way to let customers know when their food is ready. Other vendors inside the Food Lab give their patrons a buzzer. Or, here's an idea: Fufu's has a large flat-screen monitor that just plays a generic, looping video of food being made. How about repurposing that monitor to display the order number that is ready??? The current system is to bark out the person's name (why even have order numbers??) in a crowded venue with over 250 people on a busy day. Some staff couldn't even squeak out a name. A hushed tone "Madison" did not carry in the Food Lab well and so Madison never got her food. Second, they could not keep up with orders. That's because they try to prepare each order in the order it was received. Sounds reasonable, right? Wrong. If one order takes an exorbitant amount of time, you should try to fulfill easy orders ahead of them instead of allowing a massive backlog to occur. For example, I ordered a dish that including NO meat and thus nothing had to be cooked. A platter of all cold vegetarian items should simply be scooped onto a plate and served. It does not need to be held back until each order ahead has been fulfilled. For this silly reason, Fufu's said that any order placed now would take 30 minutes! Even a vegetarian platter dish. And it did! It took 30 minutes to get food that didn't need to be cooked or prepared in any way. read more

The guys who work there are very friendly and personable, they act not like corporate robots but like human beings, which you don't always see nowadays. I had Beef Shawarma and everything was very good on the plate, my only complaint is that the meet was very salty. Nowadays, I hate to leave negative reviews but I ordered the Chicken Shawarma since I was craving Zankou Chicken. There aren't any Zankou Chickens nearby so I found this place on Yelp. What I received tasted nothing like Chicken Shawarma and the pieces were so dry and small that it tasted like ground chicken and the flavor was also off and did not taste like traditional chicken shawarma. I was so disappointed. Not to mention, I waited half an hour for my order. I also asked when I was placing my order if it comes with the garlic sauce, the guy said, "yes, it comes with the garlic sauce," and they ended up forgetting it. I understand this may have just been an honest mistake but the food really was not good and the garlic sauce is literally the best part, so how can you forget it?
