    Matcha lemonade
    Alex R.

This bakery is unassuming, but now I know why they had such a long line. They offer both Asian, and French inspired treats. I got the jalapeño bread, warmed, and I couldn't wait for my drink to be ready before I basically swallowed it whole. I really enjoyed the matcha lemonade, and the world cookies reminded me of a better version of Mexican wedding cookies.

Really enjoyed the variety! Line wasn't that bad for a sunny Sunday afternoon. Great place to come and get a variety of savory and sweet pastries. We'll definitely be coming back!

Friendly staff greeted us when we walked in. First time there and was impressed with the variety. We go so much and for Seattle and it being under $25, that's a good deal. The pastries were delicious. Would make the drive here again! There's a small parking lot to the side of the bakery.

For me, no trip to Seattle is complete without a trip to Fuji Bakery. I'm incredibly envious of the locals who get to indulge on the sugary treats and the endless carbs that this place is known for. The variety is excellent, the vibe is extra chill and incredibly local. I would kill for something like this in my neck of the woods. Seating is is limited to a couple of two seaters outside, but that's really it. Parking is also a small lot to the side of the building, and my last two visits have been on the street along Elliot Ave. The latter is not generally recommended, but doable in a pinch. Their ube and matcha malasadas are excellent. The breading is light and the ube filling is perfect. Their danishes may look ordinary, but they're delightful and indulgent. The variety of croissants are impressive, but the butter and almond croissants stand out for their simplicity and addictive qualities. It might sound dramatic, but the sandos are so good that I'd come back just for those. The egg salad sando is an instant foodgasm and the chicken katsu is superb. The price is reflective of the quality (i.e. a tinge expensive) of the pastries and the staff is fairly good about recommendations and are quite good about moving the line along. I already know Fuji is in the cards again when I'm back in the Pacific NW.

I saw this bakery on a YouTube channel I was watching and made this a stop. This was a perfect bakery to stop in after a 5 mile walk at centennial park. I admittedly ate way more than I should have, but equally enjoyed the strawberry, matcha and bacon pastries. The matcha fizzy was slightly sweet but didn't overpower the drink. It was balanced perfectly with matcha and fizz. They also have gluten free options to enjoy.

Saw this bakery on my way to work and was intrigued. SO GLAD I STOPPED IN Holy moly, quite literally the best dessert items I've ever had. They know what they're doing. Small place, no where to sit inside (a couple small tables outside), they serve coffee too (I did not get any). Service was kind, I didn't feel rushed which is always nice and all items reasonably priced. I hate that I came in because I WILL be back lol

I wasn't able to get a lot of pics since we were in a bit of a rush, but I took a quick pic of our assorted pastries they packaged up for us. We sampled one of each Malasada - Crunchy Cream - Ube - Lilikoi (passion fruit) - Matcha - Strawberry The fillings were light and fresh tasting. They had a good amount of filling as well. I wish they had other options besides sugar tossed malasada's. I enjoy mine powdered or plain, which is probably why the crunchy cream was my most liked of them all. The beef curry had a slightly intense curry flavor. Borderline too intense for some, but for me it was quite enjoyable. I wasn't a fan of their hot dog bread. Maybe because there wasn't much hot dog. If it's going to be a hot dog themed baked good, I want hot dog in every bite please lol. I would definitely like to come back and try other items as they had a large assortment of baked goods. It's a cute little bakery with friendly staff. It's bright pink outside so you can't miss it and there is a small parking lot located to the side of the building. Stop by and judge for yourself.

This location has a lot more items than their location in International district! They have a huge selection of pastries, Asian baked goods, donuts, some sandwiches and more. They also have some seating inside and outside as well as a small parking lot as well. We grabbed some pastries to-go to enjoy at Kerry Park. We got a cream puff, and an ube malasada. The cream puff was MASSIVE! The biggest cream puff I've seen, it was delicious and like 90% cream. The ube malasada was also yummy, the donut was light and airy and not overly sweet. Next time I want to try one of their Japanese sandos!

Came here today since it was a bit closer than their CID location to where I was this morning. Their lilikoi was so so good! Had to get their creamy crunchy malasada again (i get it every time) and overall, it was amazing how they are able to hit the spot so consistently. Keep it up! Great service and efficient checkout process. Store has no seating space but that's fine, how good the food is makes up for it. Love Fuji to death! Thank God there isn't one next to my apartment or else my blood sugar would be cooked.

Pretty solid! We went on a Saturday morning and the place was packed! The parking is quite tricky so I recommend either getting there quite early or parking elsewhere. We parked in the taco time parking lot and had one person stay in the car. They had a good variety of pastries but things like the donuts were selling quite fast! We got a chocolate chip cookie, an egg sandwich, and an ube donut! The donut had a great flavor but I would say flour box donuts have a better overall donut! The egg sandwich was quite good but I don't think I would get it again for $8. The chocolate chip cookie was HUGE!!! The classic American chocolate chip cookie was named quite accurately. Perfectly chewy, good chocolate chip distribution, and nicely sweet! Nothing stood out too much but everything was very good!

I've passed by this bakery previously and noticed it from its bright pink color! I went on a weekend morning and surprisingly the line wasn't too bad. There were probably 4-5 parties ahead of us and the line moves fairly fast depending on how much people order. We ordered the pear croissant, the milk stick, and the crunchy cream malasada which were all pretty good. Solid flavors and textures. We also got the berry chocolate cake, which has raspberry jam on the inside and meringue dollops on top. It was really good and not too sweet. They serve Fulcrum coffee, and the iced latte is really good too.

We've officially become regulars at Fuji Bakery and I am not mad about it! We stopped in one weekend during their birthday celebration, and now I can't imagine a weekend without one of their malasadas. I've tried every malasada flavor (commitment, I know), and my top recs are the crunchy one (rolled in cornflakes with vanilla custard inside--amazing texture and flavor) and the Azuki, which is always so satisfying. My partner is more of a savory pastry fan, and Fuji has been the perfect addition to our weekend bakery rotation, she tries something new every time and loves it. Bonus points: the coffee here is consistently excellent, service is super fast and always friendly, and the prices are really reasonable for the quality and location. We are forever fans now!

Iced Latte and Jumbo Cream Puff
    Ploy N.

Been wanting to try their treats for so long and it didn't disappoint! Their Jumbo Cream Puff was everything I was looking for in a dessert. Creamy yet airy and so full of the delicious custard cream. I had no trouble finishing it even after a full meal. Paired with their strong Iced Latte, this was an amazing time. Their Lilikoi Malasada was good too. Dough was light and airy and the filling was nicely tart. Definitely want to try more from them!

I especially appreciated that he grabbed the pain au chocolat from the back at my request. I did not want mine touching the almond croissants displayed so closely together. I wanted a pain au chocolat, not an almond pain au chocolat. Sorry! AMBIANCE - 4/5 A very busy bakery/café located at Pike Place Market, near Starbucks. I liked the wall décor and the overall cozy vibe. Finding an empty seat may be a challenge? KOUIGN-AMANN/PAIN AU CHOCOLAT/MERINGUE - 2/5 Kouign-amann - 0/5 It pained me to give a kouign-amann such a low score, especially because it is my all-time favorite pastry. But this one was so subpar that I could not even finish it. It was, frankly, a complete waste of butter, flour, sugar and labor. I once lodged a complaint with a GM and Director of F&B at a certain Ritz-Carlton because their kouign-amanns were so bad that I asked them to stop whoever was making them. Since then, there has been a huge improvement, and that is what genuine feedback should accomplish. Pastry integrity is of utmost importance, and pastry crime is hardly forgivable. Pain au Chocolat - 2/5 Doughy and deeply disappointing. I simply cannot reconcile this with the fact that Le Panier has supposedly been a beloved fixture of Seattle's food scene since 1983. MERINGUE -- 5/5 Can anyone possibly mess up a meringue?? It is extremely disappointing to visit what is supposed to be a legendary, quintessential French bakery in Seattle, only to find that the two pastries I was most looking forward to, the kouign-amann and pain au chocolat, were both such letdowns. A café/bakery cannot survive on service and ambiance alone. The pastries have to deliver too. Time to rehone the baking skills, Le Panier.

Highlights: - Miso Roasted White Chocolate Cronut: My favorite item in their current rotation. The cronut was a tad soggy, but the buttery texture inside is still satisfying and the miso white chocolate filling is lusciously smooth and perfectly balanced between savory and sweet. - Blackberry Corn Mousse Cake: Blueberry mousse is the perfect fluffy texture and the corn is very subtle. The sponge cake is light and perfectly contrasts against the bottom layer of crunchies to add a bit of variety. - Blueberry Corn Croissant: Pastry also held up quite well on this one with the outside still being quite crisp. The inner cream unlike the mousse cake is very corn forward with a bit of blueberry jam to balance it out. Skip: - Black Forest Cake: Found the cake to be a bit too firm with the cream filling to be a little bland and too firm as well. Just wanted this to be better than it was. Also, it looks totally different from the photo on their website heads up. - Tomato Basil Croissant: Just found this to be off ratio wise. The only tomato is the 3 small quarters of cherry tomato at the top and a light smear of basil cream. I can see this being very good, but current form factor isn't doing it any favors.

My boyfriend ordered the chocolate croissant because he was excited at the idea of the chocolate being piped through the croissant and also drizzled over the top, but it turns out the dark brown parts on top are just design and not more chocolate. Still, he was pleased with the amount of chocolate in the croissant and the bite I had was heavenly. The champagne cake caught my eye as I was ordering and I just had to try a bite, it was absolutely delicious and fresh. I loved how light the cake was and the layers of flavour through the whole dessert! I love how bright and airy the cafe is! My boyfriend and I were easily able to find seating by the windows and enjoyed the gorgeous view of the space needle and people watching as we shared breakfast. The staff here was also patient and welcoming. We'll definitely have to come back and try more of their pastries!!

Coffee is good but not a wow. Food like the croissants seems to be not fresh. They did not have the look of freshly baked considering it was around 9am. Not sure but did not have the glow or lopk when I see a pastry. Nice place though. Lots of tables and space. They were busy.
