Ordered a chicken and veggie. Trusted they could get the order correct so took it home as delivered. Upon inspection. Was given a chicken and rice bowl. So I had to go back. I received a weak apology and an offer of a drink for their mistake. They remake the bowl and this does have veggies but far less than normal. I ordered the same order with 1 item changed from the night before, only to have the item not delivered. When I called the restaurant they argued with me and blamed the delivery service. I explained the way the bag was tied there was no way the delivery service opened it, they continued to argue and accuse everyone. Mmmmmmmmmm teriyaki style Japanese bowls. What more can you ask for, the portions here are great. The rice and meat bowls are always good. I usually get the super-bento box just because I'm a hungry guy and it hits the spot. The meat is very tender and delicious, it could use a tad bit more salt or teriyaki sauce, but that is easily fixable. The place is clean and maintained well, so that's always a good sign. The sushi here is sub-par. Nothing great, just regular sushi. defiantly a lot better than boxed sushi from the grocery store but nothing like a legit sushi place. the sushi here is also a bit pricey for what you get. I live around the corner from this place, so I frequent it often. My favorite is the "Chicken and Tokyo Steak" bowl. Awesome! You get a huge serving for the price. I did not like this place. I got the beef and chicken combo. it came with a rice, side of salad, edamame, and a shrimp tempura. $9 I like my beef and chicken more tender and this was kind of dry. If you're a full time job/school chap like myself then this place is one you can gamble on. I always say that trying new food is a gamble and well, sometimes you just lose. I'm a huge proponent for trying new foods before rejecting and this place was something new to me back in undergrad days that was highly recommended. Either than that, there's always parking in this small lot. Once you walk in, you can tell the area is cared for once in a while. There use to be a guy at the counter named Hector. That Hector, he was a character. Awesome guy though. But the new staff is just as friendly. Food: I always get the same thing so I'm biased to this single plate but if you're a chicken lover like myself then you're gonna appreciate the Super Bowl will all chicken. I order it with white rice (contrary to popular belief it is not bad for you) and it comes with those the "green peas" and "breaded" shrimp. My buddy always gets the beef and states that it's delicious. I've tried the salmon as well. They do have vegetarian an seafood choices. But the bowl I get is not only in great taste but it also is very convenient when you're on the go. Chicken is always cooked to the core but still retains the soft gesture and the shrimp adds the "tortilla" or "bread" that we like to have with our meals. I add 2.45 lbs of Sriracha sauce sometimes. Fast-food sushi?! Sounds nasty, but it's totally not here. I had a poke tuna sushi bowl, and man, they give you a TON of seafood and it is so good. I also got some spicy tuna rolls to get my proper-sushi fix. The service is nice, the place is clean and you get your food quickly. It's a little loud in here - I had a tough time hearing my dining companions, but that's really my only complaint. Fuji Grill sounds like a decent place, but I for some reason I had a bad feeling about this place the minute I walked in. Remember that book "Blink" by Malcolm Gladwell? Remember how Gladwell talks about getting an instinctive feeling in the first 2 seconds? This is the perfect example of that. I hate to be mean, but Fuji Grill really disappoints. The rolls are gross and not fresh. The rice is cold and not tasty. And they overcharge you for the rolls. A spicy tuna roll is only 4 pieces, and it costs $6-7! The seaweed salad is mediocre seaweed with sesame seeds, over some dry salad mix. Yuck, yuck, yuck. Service is good though. The order is fast and the waitress yells out your number and what you got to the whole restaurant. I will not be coming back. Let me first start by saying, I am not a huge traditional sushi fan (real fish rolls). I tend to lean toward the California Roll, Crunch Roll, etc. With that said, It was my first visit to this Fuji Grill that inspired my first venture into a more traditional roll, I tried eel. The roll is called a Super California Roll which is the regular California Roll with eel on top. The picture made it look so good that I had to try it. The presentation was exactly what the picture depicted. The roll was great, interesting texture, but not fishy at all. Honestly, I thought it tasted like chicken. The teriyaki sauce was a bit strong which I feel may have masked the taste, none the less, I enjoyed it. As well, I am not a big Nori (seaweed) fan so I prefer that my rolls are made with Soy Paper instead which has no flavor and is a great alternative that many are unaware of. While it is an extra charge, Fuji Grill will make any roll with Soy paper upon request. The restaurant is clean and very organized. The menu is easy to read and understandable from a 1st timer prospective. The staff is super friendly and the dining area is excellent. For those who need stimulation while eating, Fuji Grill has a large flat screen TV in the corner that is usually tuned to a sports event. Thanks for the read, and happy eating. read more

This location use to be great. The new staff has changed that entirely. The girl at the register was so rude, had a bad attitude, rolled her eyes, and made me feel like I was an inconvenience for ordering food there. When she missed something on my order she very rudely told me it was my fault for not asking for it, even though I did ask for it. The food was also not as good as it use to be. My tempura was burnt, my salad came with no dressing, and my miso soup had no tofu and seaweed like before. So sad to see a great place go downhill. read more

Decent food at a decent price. The staff was friendly enough but not exceptionally so. Maybe business is slow but the person working the register was on their phone whenever someone wasn't ordering. The food is pretty good and you get a good amount. The only thing that sucks is you can't really change up the items (like swapping out salmon for crab meat or adding extra tuna). I'll come here again when I have a craving for Japanese rice bowls because it's relatively quick and the quality is good. I should start by saying I've been going to Fugi Grill (all different locations) for years. Usually it's great! I'd call in an order and pick it up. This last time I tried to call the phone was off the hook, so I had to order there. Told the cashier about the phone, she said they've been acting up. Ok, no big deal. I order and wait. My order was big, but it came out fast. Got it home and realized the dynamite bowl I always order looks completely different, its lighter pink with a load of seaweed salad on top. I call them to let them know the error (I forgot the "lines were messed up"), I guess a "miracle" happened, because they picked up on the first ring. I told her the dynamite bowl looks wrong, but told it was exactly what I ordered... looked on the yelp, and lo and behold! The dynamite bowl does not have seaweed on top, the poke bowl does... I give up. I guess I won't be going anymore. read more

Went here for lunch expecting a decent meal for a reasonable price. That didn't happen. While their prices are on the cheap end this is definitely a case of "you get what you pay for." The California roll had nothing in it but imitation crab and it was surrounded by a thick layer of rice. The meat is a bit dry and bland. The rice is cold, which is a complaint I've seen in other reviews. The staff are friendly enough but I won't come here again. Our go to place whenever we have some salmon cravings! We've been coming here for the past 5 years and their service and food stayed consistent. I don't/rarely give reviews on the first visits but this review is way overdue. Fuji grill is not only delicious but also serves healthy(-er) choices of menu. They have plenty of parking spots, so i really don't know why this place is not that busy whenever we drop by. I highly recommend this place to friends and family.
