Unfortunately, I had an exceptionally poor experience with Fumo when ordered via Seamless. We ordered the vodka pizza and truffle fries. The delivery was about twenty minutes late, which is something I'm accustomed to, so that's not the source of my complaint. Our pizza was tiny, like personal pizza from the frozen aisle size. To make matters worse, it was lukewarm and the crust was not crispy at all. Our truffle fries were soggy and underwhelming. The only thing stopping me from leaving a one-star review is that the flavors were quite good. If only the food was warm and fresh! Maybe I'd have better luck dining in than I did with delivery, but I'm not sure. For now, I'd recommend staying away from delivery! read more

Man I've been wanting to go here for so long! Finally went and I love it all! Between my gf and I, we ordered fried mozzarella (YUM), fried calamari () salmon with kale and a Roni pizza. This is the best pizza bar in the entire city!!! I traveled all over the world and I just came back from Morocco, Spain and Norway and the service here is terrific! I have never ate something this good. Please try there pizza here!!! One staff named Max recommended the best pizza I have ever had. Enjoyed an after Baptism luncheon Saturday on their outdoor patio. Weather was warm and sunny and so nice to be out. Very private as we took up the 18 seats. The food was incredibly delicious: Calamari, roasted artichokes, penne ala vodka, meatballs, kale salad with shrimp and brick oven pizza. Their happy hour includes red and white wine as well as their DELICIOUS sliders. I wish I had enough money to eat here everyday. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable, he made an excellent suggestion for wine pairing and even let me try both suggestions before I made my selection. Overall a great experience. It took almost an hour to bring out our 'appetizer' and they didn't even offer us a free drink. We ended up brown bagging our mains because we had filled up on bread and were just sick of being there by that point. If their kitchen is short staffed, then they should at least tell you ahead of time so you can decide if you're OK with that. We were hungry when we arrived so we probably would not have stayed but would likely have come back another time. This is after all a neighborhood spot. I doubt if anyone is going out of their way to eat here. The food here is good not great and the host was not at all welcoming. Decided to have my birthday dinner date here mostly because of the romantic ambiance and great cocktails. Upon arrival in wasn't greeted by waiter until 30 min after being seated. Finally ordered my manhattan which took another 20 min to come. I waited another 10 min before being asked if I wanted to order. Food was pretty good however after we ordered a bottle we decided to stop outside for a smoke. Upon return the table had been cleared my manhattan . bottle of wine and half full glasses where taken away. We asked the waiter and he brought us a glass each. It was his first experience at Fumo and I was personally embarrassed. In addition my date works in the industry and explained how this should never have happened. My Birthday dinner was tarnished by the lack of professionalism and interpersonal skills the staff at Fumo carried. Went here for brunch yesterday. I ordered the branch carbonara, roommate ordered the rare steak and egg, and the third roommate ordered the chicken and waffles. i LOVE fumo! absolutely one of the best eateries in this part of town. i discovered fumo a few months ago when i came in for brunch celebrate my birthday. we were a party of ten guests and they took excellent care of us. their brunch menu might be considered small, but it is mighty! we tried quite a few things (avocado toast, chicken and waffles, french toast) and everything was very delicious. but the stand-out dish was the breakfast carbonara, which absolutely knocked my socks off. since then, i have come in multiple times to grab a quick bite and i'm always beyond satisfied with my experience! i have yet to try their dinner menu, but i've heard that it's even better! and for the picture buffs, the aesthetic is clean and simple with a few luxurious flairs: very instagram friendly! read more

I dined at this restaurant in early October 2019. I give this place three stars for the following reasons. First, their online menu was unclear. The menu stated the cost of a vegan pizza and listed the cost of additional crust types. However, the site didn't indicate the type of crust that came with the vegan pizza. Considering that it's vegan, one would think the crust was not made of standard crust material. I felt trapped! I'm not gluten free, I didn't want wheat, but I wanted to buy the pizza. I had eaten a slice at my friend's house and it was surprisingly good. So I bought the vegan margherita pizza with gluten free crust. This pizza crust looked different from the pizza I ate previously. The gluten free crust was mushy and bland. I hated every bite. I forced myself to eat the meal because I was famished and I had paid a lot of money it. Second, this pizza only gets two stars because it is pretty much a personal pan size pizza yet it costs more than a regular eight slice pizza pie. Third, the restaurant manager provided me poor customer service. After eating the pizza, I asked the manager whether the vegan pizza came with regular dough, he confirmed. When I shared my experience ordering and force feeding myself the pizza, the manager didn't offer me another pizza gratis or a discount on a future order. I deserved that privilege considering the website was unclear! The manager said the website indicated alternative options, which, in his mind, meant that the pizza came with regular dough. However, his reasoning was wrong. His business offered a specialty pizza, so listing options does not indicate that the vegan pizza is made with standard pizza crust. I reviewed the site recently and the company updated the menu to reflect that the vegan pizza comes with regular dough. Still, I would not give my business to this restaurant due to the poor customer service I received. read more

I cheated on my regular neighborhood take out place and on a whim decided to give Fumo a try. It turned out to be an excellent decision. The margarita pizza was thin and delicious-- exactly what I expected/ wanted something cooked in one of those large rustic pizza ovens to taste like. I also had the arugula salad with chicken and it was great-- chicken was marinated & grilled perfectly; salad was fresh. Delivery was prompt and friendly.
