I was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. We ordered food to-go, thinking it'd be your standard run of the mill Chinese food. But it wasn't. The food was fresh and tasty. The Kung pao chicken had fresh veggies and a tangy sauce. So good with the steamed white rice and eggroll. The hot and sour soup is so tasty, and a small feeds two easily. While ordering I noticed they had the Boba teas, so I obviously had to get one -- I was waiting for the food, ya know. It was frozen and soooooo good. Because it was takeout, I didn't check out the ambiance or the bathrooms, so you'll have to do that on your own. The service was excellent. I had a fantastic deal with UberEats and decided to check out something new, I'm happy I chose this place. The Miso Ramen is, UHHMAZING! With the soup you have an option to add a half roll for $3-5, I decided to try the baked salmon roll. It was good, but you can tell their rolls aren't their specialty and that's okay. They more than made up for it with their soup, dang it, was it good. My only issue was the boba I ordered, I didn't get it. I think with that issue, the drink may not have been with the order and it was missed. Maybe in the future, they can put a "drink included" sticker on the food package. Alright let me start by saying their walnut shrimp are DELICIOUS! They were warm, sticky,sweet, savory, crispy and Chewy. Definitely explosion of flavor in your mouth. If I were to come back that would be the only thing I get, nothing else. Now on to the next thing in the menu. Their bento box is expensive and it's not worth the price in my opinion. Sushi were dry. My favorites have been: Fried gyoza Shrimp tempura Calamari tempura Fried jalapeno Stuffed mushrooms - SO good Chicken lo mein Crunch roll The only things I haven't liked were the crab rangoon and yellowtail roll. I really wanted to support a local mom and pop shop... but I was really disappointed with my visit. I got the spicy chicken teriyaki bento box + Cali roll. I personally feel that the menu is misleading. The bento box picture had a shrimp tempura and dumpling in it. I guess they used to do that (from previous bento pictures on Yelp) but they apparently stopped doing it. It is $3 to add a regular roll to the bento box (4 total pieces which is not mentioned but is shown that way in the bento photo) and as you can tell from my picture, it's mainly rice. I felt like I was eating a rice ball. (Side note: because it's pictured as part of the bento box you would think it's part of it but it's not/they also have it written in smaller print on the menu below the HOT FOOD title. Again I feel like it is misleading.) The spicy chicken teriyaki did have a spice kick but no flavor. Service was not good either. I asked for my food to go and sat to wait for it. Daughter ordered the steam led chicken dumplings she says they were excellent. I cannot confirm because I am vegetarian. What I can confirm is that this are vegetarian friendly and accommodated my bento box. They have veggie egg rolls and veggie dumplings. The bento box is a decent portion. My 7 year old son and I shared but keep in mind I do not eat a lot. So depending on your appetite and who you decide to share with you may need two bento boxes. I've searched high and low in this area for good miso and egg drop soup (pictured) with quality FRESH veggies.. maybe even a LIL seasoning at least. They nailed it. I can't wait to try the other menu items here. Gonna try the Miso Ramen tonight. I also ordered the Beef & Broccoli and it was really flavorful but not just seasoned well, it had the right "beef & broccoli" flavor. The broccoli and other veggies (carrots, water chestnuts, onion) weren't over steamed. I like my broccoli and water chestnuts lightly steamed. The beef was fresh (no mystery meat texture)! It was neatly packaged to go. They have the black and plastic to go containers not styrofoam. Really matters for folks with environmental allergies and sensitivities. The price is super reasonable. This was our 2nd time ordering takeout from this restaurant. The first time, a couple weeks ago, everything was good; this time, not so much. I ordered the Spicy pork bulgogi both times. The first time it was a perfect rendition as I've had many times in Korean restaurants; this time it was cooked more like a Chinese stir fry, with ground red pepper added to spice it up... Disappointing, and not very good. My wife chose the walnut shrimp, which tasted good, however, the cook must have put the deep fried breaded shrimp into the plastic bento box right out of the fryer, because it melted through the container... Then when the sauce was poured over it, it leaked out the hole in the bottom all over my wife's lap. I don't know why it was so different tonight, maybe the main chef was off tonight or maybe he/she delegated the cooking to a less experienced person, but I tried to call them before they closed and nobody answered., so I had no choice but to write it up here. If the food is inconsistent, I can't see ordering from them again anytime soon. read more

Ordered off door dash. It wasn't clear that the bento boxes were half rolls which would have only knocked it to a four star but one of the rolls we ordered was just not a very good quality. The salmon wash fishy both in taste and smell and that is a solid sign of fish going bad. I'm sorely disappointed in that. Over the top, seriously. This is NOT FAST FOOD, it takes time - but WELL worth the wait. They went out of their WAY to please me, explaining everything (I'm a first timer). Recommendations, outside of Yelp, from friends of mine around town, were also glowing... and I can see why! The wonton soup has a 'thicker' broth, almost egg drop soup consistency (sans eggs), and was served BEFORE the Bento box (at my request). I have to wait for it to cool, but I prefer that to being too cool. I like the flavor as well. Nice thin, fresh wonton wrappers and a delicious filler, with a bit of green onion. Don't tell them I said so, but the guy at the counter was making coffee for himself, and when I saw it, he ended up making me a cup as well! (They do not serve coffee on the menu). THATS service. They threw in one nice tempura shrimp and a fried dumpling with the Bento Box - nice surprise - both very good. Includes steamed or fried rice and a crisp yummy lil salad too. The kung pao chicken has just enough peanuts for flavor (rather than used as cheap filler) and tastes great, with the proper ginger presence. California roll is mmm mmm good n fresh. I've had ramen, sushi roll, lo mein, bento box (chicken and shrimp) and the sides that come with. Nothing has been bad. I do have a few favorite item like they honey walnut shrimp and lo mein. Boba tea can be a little blander than I like. But overall I enjoy the food. The customer service is on point. I will say once I ordered online and they were short staffed. My food came super late. I was getting mad at how long it took. But the grubhub guy eventually updated me and the restaurant gave me some free drinks to make up for it. So I can't stay mad. I want to support this business. Portions are good also. Give them a try. And keep an open mind. They aren't perfect. No one is. But it's perfect for the price and the lovely atmosphere. read more

Ratings seem to be accurate although unable to eat inside to check the service out...damn Covid 19. Red Devil roll in specialty list was delish and my favorite. Also had a couple of tuna rolls, one spicy and one not and a CA roll. All of them tasty for the price point. A little disappointed in the size of the seaweed salad container. Since they kept the restaurant open 20 mins past their 8pm close so I could get there and that Red Devil roll, I'll be back there with 100% certainty. read more
