Better than Amritsar! Coming from Los Angeles, we weren't sure where to pick given the many Desi options, but this restaurant was an incredible find. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome by Sandeep Kaur. It was inspiring to see an all-female team running the show with such dedication. The food was beyond authentic. We ordered the Amritsari Kulcha, Tadka Dal, and rice, and every bite was remarkably fresh. The Kulcha was the star of the show--presented sizzler-style under hot tava with fumes still rising. Honestly, it tasted even better than the kulchas we had in Amritsar last year! The Tadka Dal and yellow rice were the perfect, delicious compliments to the meal. Second visit here and food was great as before. This time we ordered Samosa Chaat and Hakka Noodles that came as the first course. Both were a little more on the spicier side than expected. I prefer the regular samosa over samosa chaat. I was missing the crispiness of it. Hakka noodles ended up being too spicy to our niece so we ordered a second one with just the tomato base which was still delicious. Since there was only one server for all the tables and pick ups, it took awhile to get our food. We had plain Roti (1 per order), Butter Naan (4 per order), Shahi Paneer, and Paneer Tikki Masala. Again both of the dishes were flavorful and creamy and had a kick of spiciness. Unlike other Indian places I've been to they do not ask you what level of spice you would like. Roti and rice were nice but I would not order the Butter Naan again. You cannot taste the butter even though it was glossy. Their food were delicious! My wife got the thali, which was supposed to include butter chicken and goat curry, but she didn't receive the goat curry. I ordered a butter chicken, but there were barely 5 small chicken pieces. Such a rip-off to spend $70+ and see how little their portion sizes are, and they couldn't get their orders right. Wouldn't recommend this place. Went here recently for their new lunch buffet. We arrived shortly before noon. We served ourselves items from the buffet and were served rice and naan. Everything we tried was delicious. I was wishing they had something like an appetizer when they put out samosas at about 12:30, and they were perhaps the best samosas I've ever had. What was missing from the buffet was vegetables. There were a number of vegetarian dishes...dal, paneer, channa, but very little vegetables. Other than that, everything, the food, service, atmosphere, were amazing. I hope this place succeeds. After reading some reviews for Fusion Indian Cuisine on Yelp I walked over from the hotel I was staying at nearby to give them a try. When I walked in the counter where you order is off to the left along with a menu board overhead. I was greeted and took some time to review the menu. One thing that initially impressed me was how clean the interior was. The place was spotless, which is a good sign. I ordered off the vegetarian menu opting for the Amritsari chole and veggie pakora. My order was for take out so I sat comfortably for about 5-10 minutes until it was ready. They have a comfortable little sofa to sit while you wait. You can also dine in which you still order at the counter then take a number and sit at whatever table you wish and your order is brought out to you. When I got back to my room I ate what turned out to be a feast. The veggie pakora was incredibly tasty. Rich in flavor, crispy without being overdone and a large portion. The Amritsari chole was deliciously full of flavor and filling. The spices were delicious and everything was cooked well. The service was kind and helpful. Great experience and delicious food. Koman was helpful with explaining the food and how they are eaten. We got the Gol Gappe and it was such a fresh and flavorful dish that caught my interest. They are hollow balls of fried do with spiced potato pieces inside. You pour the shot of the fresh tasting juice inside and put the whole thing in your mouth for a burst of flavor! We tried to try this place before but it was too busy. Luckily, we came back and were able to get a seat. It was bf's first time trying Indian food. We both enjoyed the food. Garlic naan so good with all the entrees we ordered. Typically, all the spices are blended fine and well. I was surprised to have tasted pieces of the spices in our tikki masala curries. That's my only complaint. Everything was good. Customer service is great, they're very nice. It did take us a bit of time before we were able to get a bag from them so we can pack our food to go. They just seem like they'll need to be more organized because they're busy. Overall, 4/5. I have some favorite Indian spots, and this spot is good, unfortunately it hasn't made my top spots. Didn't know what to expect coming here, this place is located in a very populated area(Sierra Vista). There's a chipotle, jamba, and other food places near by. Parking close is by luck! Got the butter chicken and gol goppe at first. Gol goppe was an interesting appetizer. You pour the liquid into the puff ball and then try to eat it in one bite! A bit of a mouthful, size of a golf ball but it was a fun and interesting experience! There's some acidity in the liquid, some chickpeas and I assume beans in the puff ball. But the combination of the pair reminded me of a green salsa ceviche. Very fragrant in taste but in a good way. The butter chicken was typical tasting in my opinion. I got the medium spice, I probably could've gotten spicy. Just as a reminder this butter chicken (not combo) does not come with rice. So, we ordered rice on the side. They are generous with meat in the butter chicken, the bowl seems small but don't be deceived! What I ordered can feed two people! Garlic naan was a bit burnt on the bottom(didnt get a picture) and paired nicely with the butter chicken. Didn't really get a "garlic" taste, so if you're looking for that garlicX2 taste, you won't get that with this naan. It's very clean on the inside. The decor is nice and vibrant, i ate here around 5:30 PM, the natural lighting gave this place a nice touch. Service here was amazing. The waitress who served us was super helpful and informative. When Fusion Indian first opened, the food was AMAZING!!! The prices are a little higher, but I don't mind as long as the food is worth it. My favorite was the butter chicken bowel and this was my treat at least twice a month, but the last few times I have ordered this dish, the taste is not the same, maybe new recipe or different cook? The butter chicken used to have such a great spice, especially because I love spicy food, but lately it has not had the same flavor or spice, same with the rice that is served with the bowel. The portion sizes are also way down than previously, especially for orders that are carry out. This place is amazing. I called ahead to see if they had the green chutney. The woman who answered was super friendly and remembered to add it to my order. The food arrived hot and beautifully presented (especially for delivery via DoorDash). The Tandoori Chicken was my favorite by far! It's the best I have had since living in Fresno. It was juicy, tender, flavorful and the presentation was beautiful. The Butter Chicken was stunning as well. The spicy level was high considering I usually go to Tikka Masala as it's usually spicier. Even though it was spicy, my boyfriend and I still thoroughly enjoyed it! The Garlic Naan and the Rice Pulao were flavorful and delicious. This place is pretty good and totally worth a try. I know the name sounds weird, but I honestly loved the food, the service was good, and the price was right. I'd definitely go again. I went here on a Sunday around 1 pm with some friends. We were a little confused at first, because you can either order your food from the counter or sit down and they will serve you. So it feels like it's trying to be a fast casual, but it's confused. The food was good. The butter chicken was pretty tasty, and the garlic naan was perfectly cooked. I absolutely loved the Masala fries. It was completely different than what I was thinking and I loved the flavors. The fish pakora was also pretty good, not as crispy as I would have liked, but the fish was cooked perfectly. The Hakka Noodles are new favorite. They had this wonderful pop of Indian spices but reminded me of a pad Thai. The portions are generous and everything was just wonderfully flavorful. What doesn't make sense to me is the waitress in the sitting area. We had three waitresses serving us and each one seemed a little inexperienced. I would have been perfectly happy picking up my food from the counter and refilling my own cup. To me, it just wasn't needed. For two people, above food was more than enough even when very hungry. Service very professional and nice. Mango lassi was underwhelming- a bit thin and not enough yogurt or tartiness. They were very attentive even handing me the menu and letting me know if I needed any help, to just ask. And they were already helping other customers out too. I ended up ordering the Thali cus I couldn't decide on one dish. It came with five items... butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, Bhatura (I think it's that one, that yogurt), my choice of veggie dish which I chose amritsari chole (curried chickpeas), tandoori roti but I opted for garlic naan instead and rice. It seemed like 6 items but maybe the yogurt don't count? It also had a lil red onion in the middle of the Togo box. Food came out a reasonable time. It came out to $20 something. 1/17/24 Getting lunch! I saw this place getting lunch yesterday and knew it was up next! Lol! Plus, a hot & new restaurant! Called and the worker was kind. Happy to give recommendations! I ordered the protein bowl that's popular and asked if it could be made spicy. Told yes. Also ordered 2 samosas & the recommended & most popular garlic naan. The worker said it would be ready in 15 minutes. I went go get it. Arrived and parking is a bit tough to find a spot, but luckily, they have 30 min parking spots. Good but not great. The service was okay and the food was good but the descriptions on the menu were lacking. They do have 2 locations and we have eaten at both- Alluvial and Temperance has a larger menu and overall the experience was better. The location at Sunnyside and Shaw is more of a grab and go place. We really like the cool water cups and pitcher. The Chicken Tiki Masala was not very creamy compared to other restaurants in the area. I found this place on Yelp and the butter chicken looked really good from the photo. I came in and got it and I was not disappointed. This was only my second time eating Indian food in my life and I'm thankful that I came here and tried out the food. The chicken was cooked perfectly and I loved the buttery flavor mixed with spices. The restaurant was very nice and clean and the people that worked here were also very nice and attentive. I came in when it was slow and the meal came out to be $22.
