coffee! Iced lavender and hot pumpkin spice latte
    Lauren S.

This place is so cute! I love the cozy farmhouse/boho interior design. It's perfect to come grab a pastry and coffee with friends or do a whole brunch/lunch. I love that they do a pumpkin spice latte year round too! The food is some of the best Ukrainian food I've tried on the West Side of LA and the staff are all so kind and attentive. You can tell they put a lot of effort into the food and it's homemade since they take a while to bring out the dishes. Will definitely return!

I took my parents here because I NEEDED to introduce them to the potato varenyky. And, of course, they ended up loving it, along with everything else on the table. Potato varenyky are potato dumplings swimming in a delicious, creamy mushroom sauce. It's my favorite item, but the entire spread of Ukrainian food that we ordered cannot be beat. A similar dish to this was the crepes with chicken and mushroom because the base used the same sauce. For dessert or a sweet breakfast should I say, the crepes with sweet cottage cheese are a good choice. Fusion Kitchen is saved in my personal Yelp collection of top recommendations I have whenever people ask for food recs. They have beautiful, cozy indoor seating and even an outdoor seating area, which is also gorgeous when the weather is good.

Since my last visit to Fusion Kitchen was amazing, I knew I had to visit again! This time, I came back with the girlies for a cute Galentine's brunch--and it was unforgettable! The interior was nicely decorated with cute heart balloons inside the same rustic cozy interior. Presentation is top-notch and everything tasted just as good as it looks. I really loved every dish, but have to give a special shoutout to the eggs benedict and pistachio cake we had for dessert. Fusion Kitchen seriously does brunch best! I love Fusion Kitchen! Ordered: Breakfast Plate Eggs Benedict Quinoa Bowl with Kimchi French Toast with Berry and Custard Sauces Dumplings with Cherries (varenyky) - so good + unique Ricotta & Pistachio Cake - AMAZING

Nice Ukrainian brunch! Clean and cozy interior, serve with flavorful dishes. We got the shashuka, caviar bagel, mlynski with chicken and mushroom, and varenyky with cherries. The dumpling dough are soft, for the mlynski, full of mushroom flavors. Service is very friendly and explain the dishes. A must try when you are craving brunch :)

If you've been looking for an EGG-cellent brunch spot in Los Angeles, definitely check out this criminally underrated hidden gem! @fusionkitchenla specializes in Ukrainian-style brunch, with unique breakfast dishes such as syrnyky (farmer's pancakes), mlyntsi (crepes), varenyky and pelmeni (dumplings) that are so hard to find anywhere else! With the help of the very friendly employees, we ordered a good mix of traditional and Ukrainian brunch dishes, and we were SO impressed with the excellent culinary execution and beautifully curated flavors of each dish. If you're in the Miracle Mile area, I highly recommend checking them out for one of the BEST and most unique brunches I've had in LA! Featured here: caviar bagel medovik shakshuka mlyntsi with berries syrnyky with custard honey and lavender latte matcha latte

Fusion was a very nice place to visit for lunch. Really cute cafe with a comforting ambiance almost like you're eating in someone's house. I've never had Ukrainian food but this cafe really opened my world to some delicious items! Food came out really quick and we were able to self serve water. My partner and I really enjoyed the potato dumplings which were soft, creamy, and savory. I do like that there was sour cream available for each dish, it just gave it a nice kick. The Beef cabbage rolls were also good, the cabbage was cooked really well and held its structure, the beef with the sauce reminded me of a meatloaf almost! The Syrnyky was a good dessert to end the meal--it was not too sweet and quite fluffy! I really appreciated how big the blueberries were and the mix of berries was fantastic. Very refreshing with a hint of tartness. Staff were friendly and attentive! If you're looking for the bathroom, you'll need a key and to take a small stroll into a quiet outdoor space to use the restroom. Overall a great experience and great introduction to Ukrainian food, thank you Fusion kitchen!

Great experience, order at the counter and they deliver to your table. The Latte Coffee is great. Crepes are fantastic, and delicious. Everything we tried was phenomenal. The Borscht was my favorite. Next was the Cabbage Rolls.

Fusion Kitchen LA completely blew me away. First of all the raspberry croissant? Hands down the best I've ever had, and honestly the only one I've ever seen like this. Flaky, buttery, and filled with flavor. A total dream. Their Eggs Benedict with caviar was next-level elegant, rich, and perfectly balanced. And don't even get me started on the crepes with sweet cottage cheese... comforting, delicious, and beautifully presented. Also, HUGE shout out to Katie! She gave the best customer service I've experienced in a long time warm, welcoming, and made the whole experience feel special. Fusion Kitchen LA is 100% a Hidden Gem. I'll be coming back again and again. Highly recommend!

I went with my spouse, we shared a plate of Vareniki, my spouse had the Shakshuka and honey cake, I had the borscht. We loved everything! I will be going back for the Shakshuka! The Borscht was excellent and who doesn't love a potato and cheese dumpling? The place felt very comfortable and clean! We ordered at the counter and everything was brought to our table. The guy who took our order and delivered the food was friendly and personable. What a great place!

Pelmeni with Beef to take home and cook yourself. Yum!
    Derek L.

Never had Ukrainian food before, but this place is right down the street from where I lived so we thought we would give it a shot. Let me tell you, it's delicious!!! We enjoyed the pelmeni so much that we bought some to go. It was easy to prepare and just as delicious. It's a cute little place and the staff is friendly. A little pricey, but the food is definitely made to order. You can see the chefs in the back preparing all the food. Give it a shot! I'll definitely be back!

Came here for brunch with my partner today. Everything we tried was delightful!! I ordered the Mylntsi with Chicken and Mushroom, and my partner got the Varenyky with Mashed Potatoes. I also had a matcha latte and we shared one of the cannolis with condensed milk. Mylntsi with Chicken and Mushroom: 9/10. The outside was nice and crispy, and the filling was super flavorful. It paired so well with the cold sour cream! Would definitely order this again and again. Varenyky with Mashed Potatoes: 8/10. Not as savory as the mylntsi but still delicious! Cannoli with condensed milk: 7/10. A little too sweet IMO but still a nice dessert. Matcha latte, unsweetened: 7/10. This wasn't my favorite matcha latte, but it was solid and I wouldn't mind ordering it again. It wasn't very busy at 1 PM on a Sunday; we didn't have to wait at all for a table. You order and pay at the counter first then find your own table, where they'll bring your food out to you. It took about 30 min for our food to come out, which is a bit slow, though I know this is also a newer location. I would love to come back and try some of their sweeter dishes, like the syrnky or mlyntsi with cottage cheese!

Super cute and clean place to grab a coffee and pastry. The coffee wasn't overly sweet and the eclair perfectly crisp. Delish!

They also always bring out some fresh Russian bread for FREE and they are super giving on the portion. The soup is a 10/10, reminds me of the Hong-Kong style borscht soup. Comforting, healthy, and hearty! The salad is by far the major reason I keep coming back. The dill, fresh tomato slices, salty onion, and cucumber with a little zest is so tasty and again super healthy! The pelmeni and tabaka are classics you can never go wrong with. The pelmeni also reminds me of Chinese pork dumplings and are absolutely delicious with their fresh sour cream dipping sauce. Our recent visit, we were sat on the exterior part of their restaurant and it was a bit chilly and windy so the owner provided me and my partner blankets! How sweet and thoughtful. Service is super friendly, just be mindful that it can be a little slow occasionally depending on reserved parties that day.

However, no photos allowed and I respected the rules of the restaurant. So let me have my words do the photographic build up for Olivetta. We were headed to valet ($20) and somehow lucked into getting one of the very few parking spots right out front, score. We were warmly greeted and walked to our reservation immediately, walking by a rowdy gen x party at the bar adorned in cowboy hats & wanna-be influencers at nearly every table. It's so pretty inside, each room a little different but equally awe inspiring. I loved the vibe and my seat was perfectly placed in front of a giant mirror. My avoidant self did not have to view my reflection, but rather it was like a TV showing me all the hustle and bustle of the restaurant as diners shuffled back and forth to their seats. Watching the crowd was fun. Classy, range of ages, range of demographics but everyone is LA cool. You can be who you want here and Olivetta exemplifies that under their beautiful exterior. We had a perfect server by the way, very friendly and gave just the right level of service, not too much, not too little, just what I like, like I'm Goldilocks of Yelp LA Dining. We started with the squash blossoms, maybe regrettably so, as we had a hard time choosing an app. I'll try something else next time as they underwhelmed me. A nice crisp on the flowers but the stems were a bit much and I just found this dish to be aiight. Now the pastas I absolutely loved. We tried two and just adored them both. I was actually surprised at how good the portions were for such a classy, cute place. The Creste di Gallo was a sensation for the eyes and mouth, with a fun tableside creation of this dish. There's a generous shaving of cheese and delectable bone marrow in the dish, really great flavor and consistency. The Agnolotti was equally, if not even more, creamy and delicious. I was so full but could not stop eating this rich sauce over sage cream sauce and dried sage leaves. The roasted carrots were a nice accompaniment with our meal over a puffed feta bed sprinkled generously with pistachio and dill. Despite being full, we were still able to get through about half of the Chocolate Olive Oil Cake which was fluffy and soft with a chocolate ganache to pour over the top. I wouldn't have minded if this came with gelato or ice cream, just a tad but it was still a solid dessert. I do wish they had some non-alcoholic items like hot tea or coffee or espresso to go with dessert, they only had alcoholic offerings. Prior to beginning dinner, we did order some drinks. They had 3 Mocktails on their menu and were out of 1, so my friend and I ordered the only 2 mocktails ($16 a pop) options on offer. We found them okay - just fine, but wished they were excellent or more NA options were available & more care was intended for those of us who are Cali sober. Other than drinks though, I absolutely loved Olivetta. I'll absolutely be back to try more on the menu and I'm sitting here craving the Agnolotti, omggggggg it was so bomb. I def will be copping that dish again.

We were greeted by a lovely hostess and were sat immediately. The rooms are separated by large village style windows which divide the rooms yet feels like an open space. The ambience of this place is very intimate, romantic and sexy! This is the type of place where I couldn't wait to eat because I just knew it was going to be a tasteful journey...so I'm just gonna dive right in! A few highlights for me were the grilled octopus, the house made potato gnocchi and best of all....The Herb Crusted Rack of Lamb!!! The octopus was so perfectly grilled it made me wanna text my best friend just to brag! Each bite had more personality than an entire cast of a reality show. The gnocchi was dangerously good! The confit garlic adds a buttery richness that compliments the subtle smokiness of the broccolini. My favorite parts were the little crunchy, crackles of bread crumbs I'd get in every bite...giving it that kind of texture that makes you pause mid-chew just to appreciate it. The lamb was absolutely incredible-so tender and beautifully cooked that the meat practically fell off the bone. The rich savory lamb was balanced by a bright flavorful sauce while the fresh herbs added a nice lift and freshness to every bite. The crispy roasted bones, gave the dish some extra texture and made the presentation feel extra dramatic. It was hardy, flavorful, and honestly one of those dishes where you don't want to waste a single bite. Definitely a dish I'd order again! The chard broccolini and potato purée completed this meal the way Renée Zellweger completed Tom Cruz in Jerry McGuire! What I pay attention to is the little touches that restaurants do to make the experience that much more special. The Little Door definitely delivered... At the end of our meal, they brought us out a nice pot of sweetened mint tea. OK, so I need to conclude what are you doing, bro? Let me talk. Let me talk. Stop talking stop talking I want. The tuna tartare special was also really good. We also had the ribeye steak, which was delicious thought the scalloped potatoes and green beans lacked salt and the housemade pappardelle, which was another great choice! Overall, I would definitely recommend the food, but ASK for outdoor seating when you make your reservation. Doors open right at 7:30 pm and you are seated in the garden where you will receive a welcome drink (Tokyo fizz which is a Japanese sake/yuzu cocktail) and about 6 small bites that range from sweet to savory. This allows us to sit and relax for about 20 minutes before being escorted into the main dining hall. Dinner is served from a counter top so you have the opportunity to watch each dish come to creation. I personally love this interaction. You are served about 12 main courses expertly composed with Iberico pork, Dungeness crab, mussels, Chutoro and Bone marrow, beef tartare, and fresh garden herbs & botanical elements. My top FAVORITES were the Shiso puff tartare (Best dish hands down), Gazpacho blanco, and the Iberico pork. Very filling. Finally, dinner concludes with tea/coffee and 6 small bites of fruity gel, choc donut, and sorbet. Each course captivates your senses with its vibrant presentation, alluring aromatics, complex textures, and remarkable depth of flavors. Every bite was unique and lingered beautifully on the palate. Would love to come back again. Curious to try their fall and winter menu. Without a doubt, Somni is deserving of each of their stars

We enjoyed the quality of all of the food items as well as the tea that we had a choice of choosing from. There was so much food that they had the most adorable to go boxes for us to take home the bespoke desserts. This was located in the beautiful Terrace Restaurant and the decor and service was exceptional I definitely recommend doing this for a special occasion and recommend parking at the adjacent Canon Gardens lot versus valet at the hotel. Way more affordable and you end up in the same courtyard as the Terrace Restaurant

Shortly after I sat down, the manager approached us and made us feel like we needed to leave. His attitude was rude, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. Instead of politely explaining the situation or treating us like valued customers, he made our family feel unwelcome and rushed. For a restaurant in Beverly Hills, I expected much better hospitality and customer service. A manager should know how to speak to guests with respect, regardless of how long they have been seated. Unfortunately, his behavior ruined the experience for our entire family. I would not recommend this place based on the way we were treated. I forgot his name. He was wearing a black suit and my server told me, he is one of the managers.
