We stopped by for some icy draft beers and nachos. Sadly the nachos and queso were only slightly warmer than our cold beers. The queso was just not edible at that temp. I asked to have it reheated and one of the guys just gave me a new cup of queso. But he missed the point, it was just as cold as the first one. I didn't bother to try to get it warmed again. Their was only one other occupied table while we were there and several employees working. However the bathrooms were very dirty, as was several tables and the floor. This is a small spot, with most booths sized for 4. With 6 you'll sit elbow to elbow with every passerby hitting you as they walk out. Not much fun. Guacamole is tasty and spicy, but the portion size is misleading because they put a layer of shredded lettuce on the bottom of the cup to make it look fuller. Chips are fairly fresh, but loaded with some kind of spiced salt. Shrimp salad was mostly lettuce, with about 15 small shrimp. The grilled shrimp were loaded up with the same spice mixture as the chips, and were a little mushy. Tasted as though they'd been frozen, then defrosted and left out a bit. Isn't there good Mexican (real Mexican!!!) food in the Dallas suburbs? What about Oaxacan Mexican? Anything authentic? Anywhere out there??? read more

Salads were very soggy as if the lettuce was still wet before toppings. Oreo churros were burnt - cream inside was tan, inedible. Lewisville location was better for takeout. My family and I have visited several Fuzzy's and have had good experiences until now. We sat outside which was littered with used napkins and food scraps on the tables and the ground. It was clear no one was tending to the patio. When our order was ready, the three guys behind the food prep counter failed to prepare my husband's chicken taco plate. What they produced minutes later was lacking in chicken and fixings. As far as food quality goes, my daughter's chicken nachos were cold and the chips were soggy. The pork enchilada I ordered with my combo plate was missing the pork and the enchilada! In its place, I got a tortilla and cheese roll-up without cheese or sauce. Very disappointing to say the least and not a place we'll return to! read more

Race involved. We've gone to this place so many times and recently they've gotten a new cashier. I walked in happy heard the cashier being so nice to the white people in front of me. She finished with them and so I walked up being nice and right of the bat she had an attitude and wasn't being nice, i asked if she had a bottle of the original sauce she said no only habanero, I then asked if I could have lots of hot sauce in the bag since they were out I was willing to pay but she said she's tell them. After I ordered I gave her my card in her hand and she threw it on the counter with the receipt after she finished. After that she went and talked to the people in the back, I picked up my order asked if there was hot sauce they said yes. I get home I spent $30 on 3 meals and they gave me 2 sauce packets.. really disappointing since you kinda need the sauce to eat the tacos. I'm Hispanic Incase y'all were wondering. read more

This has been our Go-To Fuzzy's for several years . Even though it is a chain, Fuzzy's are not real consistent. This Location has been undergoing a lot of changes. We visited on. Wednesday after lunch. Shredded chicken on the tacos was ice cold. One of our tacos was supposed to be no lettuce. It was with lettuce and they would not swap it out. Granted we just scraped it off but not great customer service. First world problem. We will go back. The only reason they get 3 stars is all of positive last history. read more

Pretty disappointed in the "taco Tuesday deal" where it says $1.50 tacos (except seafood and fajita taco). They tell you that the Baja tacos are all options to choose from, yet thr "fried avocado" is not allowed as a $1.49 option on tuesdays.... sorry but last I checked avocado is not fajita nor seafood option... also, had to order our tacos 3 times because the basic orders of correct taco shell and request of fried vs grilled got messed up 2 times prior to getting it done right... not sure if we will be back.... total bummer read more

I give Fuzzy's three stars, because of the fish salad. It wasn't so crowded during this Wednesday afternoon. I came with a work group at my new job in flower mound. The tacos looked good, but I went with a fish salad that looked like it came in the bowl it was mixed in. It was so strange. My coworker even made a remark. The taste of this was unremarkable. The rest of Fuzzy's is expected. It's a taco place and the inside kinda looks a chipotle's. A mix of a sit down, but fast food joint where the drinks are in dispensers at one side. This is my first time at Fuzzy's. Next time if I come...I'll go for some damn tacos. read more

I arrived at 4:45 p.m. on Monday, April 30. Upon walking into the empty store there was one gentleman in front of me. This gentleman turned to me and said, "I'm not sure what I'm ordering, so you can go ahead of me." As I looked behind the counter there were to boys staring straight ahead, I was waiting for one of them to acknowledge me so I'd know which one was going to take my order. After I got no response I asked both of them, "Which one of you would like to take my order?". They both just stared at me with a blank look on their face. I repeated my question and still got no response other than the blank look again. I finally said, "I guess you don't want my business or money." So, I simply turned around and began walking out the door. As soon as I got in my car I called the store to speak to the manager in charge. After I was placed on hold a guy named Brian began talking to me. I inquired as to who his boss was and he told me a lady named Cassi and I then inquired as to how I could get in touch with her. After I got this information I began telling him what happened. He immediately started yelling at me and I'm not exaggerating. He screamed, telling me one of the two guys behind the counter wasn't on the clock yet. I then informed him that the customer is always right and he yelled back at me, "No the customer isn't always right!" I was completely caught off guard by the disrespect shown so I immediately hung up on him. I will NEVER EVER step foot inside this Fuzzy's again. Since this location opened last summer we have experienced, at times horrible customer service and the food isn't as good as the other locations. VERY DISAPPOINTING! I hope most of you will reconsider visiting other locations where you will be treated like a customer they are happy to serve. The Denton and Lewisville locations are way better. read more

I would give it zero stars if I could. Not sure what's going on at Fuzzy's this year. We went for the first time in October of 2012 and the food was wonderful. Had fajitas, fish tacos and couple of other dishes. Enjoyed the cold beer too. Unfortunately, the last couple of times we've been there, the food has been horrible. In August 2013, we went there on a Saturday and the place was packed. We were willing to forgive what we thought was a one-time bad experience because the place was crowded and the cooks had to hurry = the quality of the food suffered. All three menu items were flavorless and cold. Should also point out that my son got sick after eating his tacos. We went again last night and the food was stale and cold once again. The place was almost empty, only a handful of people there. We ordered the taco and fajita meals as well as the nachos. The meat was flavorless, the nachos, the potatoes and rice were cold; the food tasted like it had been sitting around of quite a while. We didn't see any heat lamps. Only the tortillas were warm. HORRIBLE, horrible food!!!! The only thing worth anything was the cold beer served in frosted mugs. We will not go back!!! When the manager came to our table to see how we were doing, we were too embarrassed on his behalf to let him know how bad the food was. Hopefully, he'll read this review and make some changes otherwise he restaurant will go out of business. read more

Soooo Fuzzy's is my hubby's favorite place to go to for Taco Tuesday take-out. I've tried quite a few things on the menu looking for a favorite and have yet to find one. Tonight I was disappointed. I ordered a brisket burrito with refried beans , Tex Mex fried rice, no tomatoes & quacamole on the side. Well, what I got was a bean and cheese burrito with quacamole on the side. It was fine , but no brisket in a brisket burrito. Why is it so hard to get take out orders right ?! I would recommend checking your order before you leave, but then that would mean you have to unwrap most of it. Not worth it. The food isn't great, but it isn't bad either. You may find something you love. Not my cup of tea. read more

Know that this Fuzzy's is a volume business, and while they're undeniably friendly, they're also in the weeds even when moderately busy, as was the case when I popped in for a recent bite. I had the chicken tamales in verde sauce, paired with a Negro Modelo, and that seemed to stick the landing, but truth be told they're so dealing with overflow it can't always be a relaxing experience. Fine in a pinch, and filling. But avoid during the rush. Love the big salad now with shredded chicken. However.... as the other reviewer noted, the location is not the best. It gets packed and the angular layout make it feel like the walls are closing in. Shame on me!! After severely poor service, on the first 2 times I went there, it happened again. This last time I went in for a to-go order, I had a coke while i waited, it wasn't very crowded. I watched my to-go order sit in the window for 5:45 before they called my number. When it came up I asked the guy in back it it was my order he said no. so I watched and waited and there was no other order that came up for 5:45 minutes, it was at that point that i went to the person who took my order and she went and checked and "SURPRISE" it was my order. There was also a distinct difference in flavor, my wife ordered the vegetarian enchiladas (she had them at another fuzzy's and they were incredible, even made me want to order them). These enchiladas however were disappointingly flavorless. It really is a shame, this one being so close to where I live but so bad and inconsistent. I spoke to the owner/manager about the original issue I had 8 months ago and he said it was "opening pains", Ok, 8 months have gone by and nothing has gotten better. read more
