The staff and the decor of Fuzzy's is bright and cheery. The menu is extensive.You can choose from many platter and a la carte options. Prices are reasonable however the food was just average tasting. Neither my chicken taco or ground beef taco had much flavor. The cilantro-lime rice tasted okay but I wasn't sure where the cilantro and lime were as I didn't taste any! I'd be willing to give Fuzzy's another try as the younger folks that were with me seem to enjoy Fuzzy's as they have been here several times since it recently opened. read more

Hands down one of my favorite places to go. I'm a Florida transplant from the Midwest. This is such a good place for "Tex mex" to the point that I will drive from south of Disney just to come here on special occasions. It's fairly cheap. A taco is about $2. My biggest recommendation is to try their breakfast tacos! They're exactly what they sound like but serve them all day. They tend to come with heaping portions so even just 2 will stuff you full! Was craving tacos and wanted to check out this place, but I'll be sure to stick to my old stand bys. Went on a Friday night and it was very busy; long line up front where you order. Girls up front we're very friendly and helpful but that's about all the compliments I have. We got chips and queso for a starter and the chips tasted stale with a out of place seasoning on top. When I got my Baja chicken fajita tacos, there was very little meat, and they tasted very bland. On top of that, my friend with me had to wait 20 minutes after I had gotten mine for his food, even though he had ordered right after me. I was nearly done by then... just overall a pretty negative experience. How can you go wrong on $1 tacos, on National Taco Day? Fuzzy's featured their tacos for $1, including ground beef, chicken, fish, and brisket. Between my wife and I, I think we tried every combination available. The Fish Tacos were the winners! Each had excellent flavor; and, no need of hot sauce. The fish was crispy, fresh and tasty. The Special Ground Beef was also very, very good, moist, tasty; and, no need for sauce. On the other end of the spectrum, I wouldn't bother with the Spicy Pork Taco, as it's far from spicy; and, the Chicken Tacos have no flavor at all - we slathered them with hot sauce. I don't think I am a fan of the cheese they put on the tacos; and, this took some consideration. It's too hard, doesn't melt; and, it's a sharp cheese. I really prefer a smooth, creamy, melt-able cheddar; but, that's just my Tex-Mex preference. read more

There's been a lot of talk about the the new Fuzzy's Taco Shop, and I was really excited to try them out. Unfortunately, while I enjoyed my lunch at Fuzzy's, it just didn't live up to the hype. The menu is large and varied, with lots of protein choices. Tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, burritos, even breakfast - and in addition to a few beers on tap, I saw a sign for $4 bloody marys and mimosas. I was just in for a quick lunch, though, so I chose a taco platter, with a grilled fish (Alaskan Pollock), and a spicy pork - both on soft flour tortillas, and refried beans and cilantro-lime rice as sides. Upon ordering, you're given a buzzer with your number on it. When alerted, I went up to the pickup window to find my food, but none of the plates have numbers on them, and most of the orders were pretty similar. I had to ask a worker which plate was mine. The two tacos were very full, but most of that was lettuce and toppings - maybe a little too much. While the toppings tasted good, they sort of drown out the flavor of the protein. I really enjoyed the fish taco, but was pretty let down by the spicy pork one. The pork itself was a little dry, and not at all spicy. There is one single hot sauce available on all of the tables - Butt Blasting Hot. Not bad, but it's disappointing to only have one option. The refried beans were chalky and dry for my taste, but the rice was decent. All in all, I enjoyed my lunch, but am not particularly excited to return. read more

A nice friendly atmosphere/ambiance along with great drink specials and the margaritas are actually pretty big. (48oz to be exact) and the tacos aren't your average taco with just lettuce and regular cheese. It actually has feta cheese and diced tomatoes and many different options for your protein. I was excited to try this place so I finally tried it on national taco day. Wellll now I know why it was on the cheaper end. The quality of the ingredients are on the diy at home level. Also no one can convince me the rice wasn't spoiled. It had a very spoiled smell and taste I didn't eat it. Plus the refried beans were very runny. For a taco place the set up is inviting and welcoming, don't get me wrong this isn't a bad place to visit. Personally though, neither me nor my boyfriend were impressed with the food. He ordered the taco plate and I ordered the ground beef nachos. Neither of the items had much flavor. I found my self drowning my food in the fuzzy's sauce on the table to get any type of flavor. The same for my boyfriend with his tacos. The fuzzy's sauce also was very mild in flavor and spice despite the bottle claiming to have "your butt burning" I even tried the habanero version, it was just as bad. It's not a bad place or bad atmosphere, but when I think of Mexican inspired food, I'm looking for flavor and spice, and fuzzy's just didn't deliver. read more

Unfortunately in Orlando Florida a great Mexican Restaurant is hard to find. I moved from California to Orlando in 2019 and it wasn't until 2021 I found Fuzzies! And it was a short drive up Colonial from where I live! They have amazing brisket tacos, burritos, and nachos. There shrimp burritos and tacos are amazing too. I'm shocked to see how low the rating here is! We come from a town in Oklahoma with its own Fuzzy's Taco Shop, but we had never tried it. We came to Orlando last summer and drove past this Fuzzy's while looking for somewhere to eat one night. We recognized the name, so we turned around and decided to give it a try. Both the food and service was so incredible, we ate here once more that same week. The exceptional food and quality service at this specific location made us fall in love with Fuzzy's. Since last summer, we have eaten at our own Fuzzy's in Edmond, Oklahoma several times, but we still prefer this location over our own! While on vacation in Orlando this summer, we returned to this location TWICE and received the same exceptional service we did last summer! I was really excited for my tacos from fuzzy's as I've had them before and they're really really good and flavorful, but that wasn't what I got. I ordered DoorDash and was given an Ubereats order of something entirely different, a breakfast burrito. It was edible, but I wouldn't order it, especially at 11:45pm. I didn't use the hot sauce with it, which I guess could've helped, but I was too pressed about not getting my tacos to even consider it. Queso is yellow and too thick, rice was rubbery, refried beans tasted off, BUT the brisket quesadilla is amazing! Churros and sopapilla are excellent! And the burrito bowls are nicely customizable. All in all good main entrees and desserts! read more

When the Dr Pepper is the best thing about your meal; the restaurant is in big trouble. My wife and I went for the first and only time to Fuzzy's this evening. The food and the Ice tea were disasters My wife attempted to get ice tea. What was dispensed was anything but ice tea, it was extremely tasteless. She had rice and beans and two soft tacos. I can only assume that the rice was made earlier this morning as well as the beans they were both sticky and unappealing. The beef for the tacos was very salty and very overcooked. The cheese that came on the taco in our opinion was mystery cheese not knowing if it was cheddar, in fact it even tasted a little bit like Parmesan. I hope I was wrong. I had what was going to be a shredded chicken salad. Do not let me get started on my salad. The shredded chicken tasted like it came out of a can with no real flavor. The lettuce was still wet. As I was eating my salad I'm realizing that the bottom of the metal bowl the sale came in I noticed a puddle of water i beginning to form at the bottom of the bowl. A wet unappealing salad Yum! I had seen thee sign from the highway and decided to stop it. You order at a counter and the food is brought to your table. The menu board was hard to read. I order the steak quesadilla. It was quite good and flavorful without being super spicy. The portion was extremely generous. I like getting chips and salsa with my meal, but now came with this. We came here for lunch a few days ago and while the service was great the food left a lot to be desired. I got the combo plate with one chicken taco, one spicy pork enchilada, Mexican rice and Latin potatoes. Out of everything I ordered, nothing was a stand out. The potatoes were soaked in grease and the rice was flavorless. The enchilada was ok. The spicy pork was very tender but not spicy at all. The chicken taco has some kind of garlic mayo sauce which was a wasn't a fan of. I don't particularly like mayo based sauces with my tacos. This place was so bad I had to make a comeback to Yelp to make my first review in 2 years. I've been trying to look for a good taco spot and Fuzzy's seemed to be the place that people on Yelp were talking about so we decided to give it a try. My first impression was a super strong smell of something that smelled like butter and not knowing where the smell was coming from was concerning for me. It might have been the feta cheese mixed with the juices from the meat, who knows. First they got our order wrong giving us an extra taco which I thought was a good thing! We ordered 4 hard shell tacos and 3 soft tacos and literally all of them fell apart, probably the most soggy taco shell i've ever (not) eaten. Have you ever seen an old, soggy taco bell taco? Yeah, this was worse than that. The chicken literally tasted and looked like it came out of can. The pork was not shredded at all and instead was clumped together and dripped extra juice all over. My boyfriend and I ended up only eating a total of 2 tacos before throwing the rest away. In retrospect I should have had lower expectations for authentic tacos in a college town, but the fact that I would 100% prefer Taco Bell over this place says a thing or two about their quality. read more

I am technically a current employee, I was furloughed because of the virus. I have been asking the manager Kyle for weeks when I could get back on the schedule, rarely getting answers unless I physically come in and get face time with him. Within the past two weeks we had a discussion about people and hours and I was told to my face that they wouldn't be taking on anyone else until fall for the school year. I went in a few days ago and found out that they hired not one, but TWO new hires without contacting me to see if I was available, like I was told. I contacted my manager for an explanation and have been ignore thus far. I'm writing this here not to complain but to give a glimpse into the negligence of the management here. This is not the only time employees have been mistreated; the owner has screamed at employees for simple mistakes, and managers have scheduled them way over the hours they requested because of course they would rather over work their current employees than bring others back on (such as myself) to avoid taxes. The over working might get better now since they are bringing more people onto the schedule, just not the ones who are already trained and on hold (lol). I understand that things have been stressful with everything going on, but this is my livelihood that has been meddled with, and stress is no excuse to ignore and mistreat your employees. To even out this very long review, the food is pretty ok, and the ambiance is fun (when you're not listening to cashiers getting yelled at in front of the whole dining room).
