My husband and I decided to try fuzzy again but this time for breakfast. How desapointing!!! To start, the order took almost 20 min to be ready on an empty restaurant. Literally, 2 separate people and us. I order a special beef burrito and my husband the Big Fuzz bkfst sandwich. OMG!!! Food was worst than the first time. I paid an extra $1.25 to be smothered with queso, which tasted like a salty velveeta. The rice inside was hard and there was no refried beans. I think I would of gotten a better and bigger burrito from taco bell...cheeper. Even Chuy's has a better burrito...for the same price you get smothered with queso and rice on the side...AND..free chips with different types of sauces. Let me tell you about the bkfst sandwich we got...the bread was big but ok, the bacon was burned and falling everywhere , the potato was cold and the egg looks like it was fried on a dirty grill. This is the last time well be in there. Save your money and go to taco bell or chuy's...be warned!!! read more

The first time I came to Fuzzy's I liked not loved it. I gave it a few more tries and really started to enjoy the place. They have a ton of taco options, including fish (fried or grilled) and vegetarian, which are my picks. The best thing about this place is the deals. I came back for $1 taco day and after a loooong wait my boyfriend and I finally found a little table to set our taco spread down. We got 6 tacos between us for $6 which was incredible. We then noticed they have a taco Tuesday deal where it's less than $2 a taco! Not as good as the annual $1 taco day, it we realized you can get more food for less money than Tijuana Flats' Tuesday deal. The one thing I didn't love that would have me choose another fast taco chain over this one was the queso. It wasn't awful, but it was totally underwhelming and lacking flavor. I'm a huge fan of queso, but I'll stick to other sides when I come here. I did love the rice and beans the first time I tried Fuzzy's. They also have happy hour drink deals from 11-6 So come on a Tuesday afternoon and load up on tacos and drinks! Any other time, the prices are reasonable but not amazing. read more

Great frozen margaritas for sure!! The best!! Baja tacos are flavorful. Not a big fan of their sauces for the Mexican food so I bring my own (fire sauce from Taco Bell lol) white queso is awesome along with their fat burritos. Come here quite often. Great place to get away can eat outside too. Friendly staff usually there's always one ya know. But not very often. Would recommend for sure. read more

My favorite place to eat! Everything is super fresh and staff friendly! My typical go to is the grilled shrimp quesadilla....until tonight! The California heat taco (flour soft) with grilled shrimp is AMAZING! A wonderful amount of avocado and Siracha. Once you buy the drink cup, bring it back for 99 cent refills. The guys in the kitchen are always so nice, make sure you tell them what a great job they do! Definitely one of the best and reasonable price taco shops in town! The best tempura mahi tacos everrrrr! The fish is always fresh. The queso is great. Taco Tuesday they have 2 dollar specials and they throw an extra shot of tequila in your margaritas for just one dollar. If you want to dine, you can sit inside or outside and the servers are always nice. Tip: The butt burning hot sauce is legendary. read more

This place has some pretty good "Americanized" tacos served Baja style. My only complaint is how inconsistent they are with their food. One day the tacos are amazing, huge, double shelled, and juicy. Other days, it's like I'm eating at a completely different place! Wish that didn't happen because it makes me look bad when I invite friends/family. read more

Stopped in real quick before I got stuck in traffic. I had a crisp taco with ground beef. Not a huge fan of their tortillas, the flavor was good but I'm not quite sure where this will fall on my list. I'll probably try it again just cuz it's on my way but it's not something I would go out of my way for, it's a toss up between this and another chain (I won't mention) their tacos are just as good and a little liter on the pocket book. read more

The food was decent.. but is nobody going to talk about the amount of mold in this restaurant????? i was enjoying my experience until i got up to get a drink and realized the whole soda/water machine was covered in MOLD.. i can't make this up i will honestly never be back. So it's not where I want to eat but my buddy wanted to try it. I was open so we ended up seeing what it was about. The lady at the front was very helpful as far as explaining what is popular in what she thought was good. I got a strawberry margarita that was fantastic even though it was much larger than I thought. The mahi grill tacos were Good in my opinion. I would go back and try different ones. read more

Heard mixed reviews and give this place a chance. And well, they failed. Ordered 7 tacos (with feta on the side) and chips n salsa for pick up. Not rocket science. When I got there 10/15 minutes later, they said they accidentally gave my order to someone else and they would have to remake mine. Fine no problem. Then I say for a few minutes and they said actually they had my order waiting all along. They all seemed really confused behind the kitchen counter, it was kinda humorous bc we are talking about making 7 tacos here on a not so busy night. Anyways, assuming my order was right. Came home and my tacos had feta in each of them and were ice cold. And the chips were not seasoned with their signature seasoning. Called back and they seemed confused and surprised basically like they were at the restaurant. Took down my into and said the manager would call me the next morning. Whole day went by. No call. The first time I came here I didn't like my meal which was a burrito. Gave it a second try. Second visit tried the tacos, so much better. The cheese they use tastes like feta. I'm not sure what cheese it is but IMO it really makes the flavor of the tacos stand out. Fuzzy has become a staple now in our weekly rotation when eating out. Love the food at Fuzzy's. Our first visit was a great experience. Cashier greeted us very kindly, food was brought out to us quick, staff was friendly. One of the cooks even brought out a complimentary desert for our toddler. Last night was our second visit. We did get there at 15mins to closing, so we understood we would be limited on time. Once we got inside, all the chairs were already up on the tables and they looked like they were pretty much closed up. We went in, cashier told us they were closing and we could either order to go, then sternly said that if we did order to dine in we would have to be out of the restaurant by 10pm. Wasn't the most kind or professional way to express that to us. We were excited to eat at Fuzzy's that night. I had been waiting all week savoring the taste, but unfortunately we ended up leaving since the female cashier wasn't that nice. We would have gladly ordered to go, but again she was unprofessional and unkind. Our little toddler was bummed that we ended up leaving also. We ended up going over to Waterford at another establishment that we had a great experience at. Will think twice next time about going into Fuzzy's again. Basic kindness and professionalism should be top priority & upheld in training staff. read more

The food is really good. I enjoyed the Fajita chicken salad and it was SO STINKING GOOD!! I am on Weight Watchers and it was a great salad for the points. My daughter loved the cheeseburger quesadilla although it was really greasy. The floor under our table was littered with tortilla chips so the place could have been a bit cleaner. But the food was really good. This is my third time here and I will be back again for sure! read more

The Oreo churros were fire; as well as the California heat taco. Make sure to try their habanero hot sauce it adds some much needed heat.

When you need an early morning breakfast, this is an excellent option! We stopped by around 8am on Saturday and were the only ones there. I had one of their chorizo, egg, and cheese tacos. Just one taco because they are huge! I enjoyed it. The restaurant is casual and spacious. There is a full bar. I will definitely be back to try some other items. read more

This week I finally got a chance to try this taco shop by where I live, and is the only restaurant I haven't tried in this plaza, and I have to say could've lived without trying this..lol,it's like a cross between Taco Bell and chipotle, I tried the shrimp fajitas, no flavor, this had to be the Most Generic fajitas I ever had,a little salt would help!!!Either you are Authentic or Tex mex....but they are neither. read more

I've been here a few times and I've loved every visit. The grilled shrimp tacos are so good...I've also tried spicy pork, but it wasn't very spicy, so I did it find it less tasty. The portion size for the nachos is HUGE and impressive, and of course, they're super delicious. I also enjoy the people who work here. They're upbeat, kind, and always happy to help. I really wanted this place to be good. My first thought was, ok a fast-serve tex mex spot with liquor. Should be pretty good. Unfortunately I was wrong. I ordered a chips and queso appetizer. I read in someone else's review that the cheese tasted like Velveeta and thought "man that's pretty harsh." Unfortunately they were spot on, except that it wasn't as good as Velveeta. The cheese was very bland. The chips were ok. Just your pretty standard tortilla chips. The main entrees took about 20 minutes, which is quite a while for fast serve tex-mex. I had the brisket burrito covered in queso. The brisket was super salty and again the queso was just so bland. I also had a standard margarita on the rocks, which was only $4 since it was "Margarita Monday" and I added an extra shot for $1. The taste was obviously not the best as it was pretty sweet, but I can't complain too much since it was only $5. I tried my wife's shredded chicken burrito and it was just plain bland. Almost zero flavor, not even salt, unlike my over-salted brisket. The pros here are that the prices are cheap and they have liquor. But that's about it. The food was not very tasty and they took about 20 minutes to make 2 burritos, a bowl of soup, and two taco plates. T-flats is going to run you the same price, but taste much better. Hopefully someone who owns this place reads these reviews and makes some changes in the kitchen. Fuzzy's is a decent fast-casual chain that rivals hometown favorite Tijuana Flats. Pricing is comparable, but you get a little more flexibility at Fuzzy's Taco Shop. Rather than choosing tacos two at a time, you can mix and match single tacos. I tried the grilled shrimp, shredded chicken, and ground beef tacos. All three were very tasty, and came out to just under $7. However, the tacos don't come with chips, which I don't mind, since I'd rather have an extra taco for my money. Not all is great though. The chips are pretty mediocre, and unevenly seasoned. Part of a chip will be smothered in seasoning, while the rest will have nothing...makes for interesting bites, that's for sure. Also, I know they are new, so making an impression with good service is important. But DEAR LORD...stop asking me if you can take any plates off my table. Especially if I am literally hovering over my plate, biting into some food. Clearly it's still in use. During my 30 minute visit, several people stopped by the table no less than 7 times. That's just annoying. Overall, the tacos are fantastic, but watch out for the overzealously helpful employees. read more

If I could pick one word for my experience here it would be underwhelming. Large selection on the menu but I was disappointed that nothing came with chips. I just wanted a side of queso but to get chips with it you had to order the full size of both. Add two tacos to that and all of a sudden you have a $13 lunch. I wish they had a simpler way of ordering these with a meal. The tacos themselves weren't bad but nothing amazing. I had the chicken and spicy pork. Their bottled hot sauce on the tables has very good flavor though and helped out. The previously mentioned chips came out with half being covered in seasoning and half bare. It was as if the seasoning bottle opened on half. Queso was good but, again, nothing amazing. I like good service but to have someone come to your table at least 10 times in 30 minutes to ask to take your tray while you are in the middle of a bite was a bit much. It just got annoying. Once, maybe twice and then just wait for the people to be done. We all wanted to like this place since it is convenient but for the price there are other taco places close by that have better quality food. read more

Was eating here the other night and a guy came in with a dog. The dog took a crap on the floor. A waiter came up and gabbed the poop with a paper towel, sprayed "windex" on the spot, then threw the dog poop in the trash next to where a couple were eating. The waiter then proceeded on to wait on people without washing his hands. Disgusting. Unsanitary. We won't be back. read more
