The panzarotti's we ordered were nothing like what we had in the 70's. Back then. They were half moons. Now they are huge squares and the center of mine was still unmelted cheese. That's a good sign they are too big. Aldo the place has no bathroom, do good luck if you need one. How can a place serving food either tables to eat at not have a restroom? read more

Absolutely delicious food. They are only doing take out right now bc of corona but the food is so fresh. I would give them 6 stars if i could. The customer service of their staff is top notch. They are kind people and they care about their customers. They arent caught up in the corporate era. They know their regulars. And, before they had to close the dining area, my brother and I would sit and eat. As mentioned, the food was ALWAYS so fresh. Right off the stove top or right out of the fryer. had to try the famous panzarotti now that i'm officially a south jersey resident we got the cheesesteak, cheeseburger, plain and minis. my personal favorite was the minis. the big ones are crispy but the filling was lacking. the minis have a perfect filling to outside batter ratio the cheesesteak gets super watery with the onions so try to not get them with onions the cheeseburger reminds me of sausage which was good but then just get the sausage one the plain was decent but i needed more filling i'll definitely be back to get more of the minis but i dont know how i feel about the bigger ones - need more filling! read more

Yes, panzarotti original location and creation began here 3 generations ago. They are definitely amazing. However, I've not seen a review talking about their DELICIOUS-CAN NOT STOP EATING EVEN THOUGH I'M SUPER FULL- FRIED PICKLE CHIPS! Yes, I had to shout it. I have contemplated calling them over the last 45 minutes or so just to yell at them about how amazing the food is and how it should be illegal to serve such delicious food!! Hello i was recommended this Resturant because of their Panzarottis. I placed a simple order of 3 panzarottis and 2 of them came back wrong. so i called and told them what Happened and a lady said she was going to drop the right order in for us not to worry about it we asked her if we needed to bring the food back or a picture of their mistake she said no . When i get there i spoke to another lady and told her what was going on. She says that she needs the food back and then i can get the food that i was told i was going to get. IN OTHER WORDS TAKE A BITE OF THE FOOD TO MAKE SURE ITS RIGHT. Ridiculous! I called Vincent's Pizza to place a really big order last week. I was not paying attention and for some reason, my phone dialed a Vincent's Pizza in Merchantville NJ instead of the Vincent's a few miles from where I live (in an entirely different state....). As you would expect, when I drove to my local pizzeria, the staff had no idea what I was talking about when I came to pick-up order #43. It was then that I realized in my 30 plus years of experience ordering pizza, that they never issued order #'s for pickup - they just yell your last name. I ran outside and double checked my phone and to my horror, I saw a New Jersey area code and realized my mistake. I was faced with two choices: One - block the number and go into hiding forever, or Two - call in, admit my failure and apologize profusely. I hesitated for a second, then decided to get into my car to place the call in case there was yelling involved. There was no yelling. Instead, I was greeted by a kind "Hi, don't worry about it :) !!! ". Despite it being a busy 7:00 on a Saturday, the staff were kind and maintained composure. They insisted that the food would not go to waste but I insisted on having the manager call me back so I could figure out how to pay the them. Even though the order was very large, the manager and business owner insisted that I not worry. They were just happy that in 40+ years of being in business, someone actually called back to explain the mix up. It was then I knew I at least owed them an amazing review to say the least. Situation resolved! Siri has been fired and a crisis has been averted. And probably Part 1 of a two part review, because after seeing some of the other great reviews on here, I really want to know how good forty years of experience in pizza making tastes :D Thank you Vincent's Pizza in Merchantville NJ! read more

The food was fine, used to eat there a lot 15 years ago. Every thing was as I remember it, the portions were a lot smaller but then again 15 years ago so was I. But my complaint which I took 2 starts off for is the menu. I went to there web site found what I wanted called them and ordered and when I got there the prices were all different then what was stated on there web site luckily I brought extra money and was able to pay but I feel like the prices on your web site must match what you charge in the store. Also they still don't accept credit card it didn't bother me 15 years ago but now I just don't trust any business that dosnt accept credit cards. What are they hiding. I don't think I will be back. i was send a few emails from someone i can only assume was the owner saying that he was doing nothing wrong by listing a lower price for food on his web page and paper menus then when people come to pick up the food demanding they pay a higher price. but when i walked by the place the other week i noticed there were no more menus so i looked on the web page and the prices were all removed now. read more

I unfortunately cannot comment on the food because I never had the opportunity to taste it, but I will tell you what left a BAD taste in my mouth... The service! A colleague just called in to place an order for delivery and was immediately put on hold. When the associate came back and took the order I could tell she was being rushed. The order was given and and we mentioned that we would be paying by card. According the associate they didn't take cards... When we asked how much the total would be the associate responded with "Ugh"... And gave the total after we had to explain that we simply needed the total to figure out if we had enough cash amongst us. After hanging up we realized that we were rushed off of the damn phone so fast that she didn't take the delivery address! When we called back she THEN says "We don't deliver" - Great! *all sarcasm* When we go to cancel the order the associate calls my colleague RUDE and tells her to have a blessed day. Really lady? Lol. There are too many other places that will deliver, take our order politely and let us pay with a credit card... Like Nick's in Cinnaminson on 130. That's who we ultimately gave our business to! My buddy, who grew up in Merchantville, was in town for the first time in 5 years from the west coast. He wanted to go here to get their Panzarottis, and we thought that was a good idea. Well, we walked in and were greeted by literally an empty counter. We stood there for a while and then this guy walks out.. "what do you want?" Literally the most miserable excuse of a human, ever. Just hates his job, and life, or at least it appeared that way. We all ordered, and he didn't say a word. Just walked back to the kitchen, and left us there. We got our food, and it was okay. However our entire experience was ruined by whoever that excuse of a human was. Why so miserable, dude? Life isn't that bad. Well I just satisfied a lifelong curiosity. When I went to Merchantville Elementary School in the early '70's, so many of my classmates would flock to Vincent's Panzarottis with two quarters in their hand at lunch time. I never did and never got the attraction. I finally decided to try it on my 53'rd birthday. It was not terrible, but it did not meet the expectations I had based on the popularity with my primary school mates. It was a little dry and too puffy. I was thinking fried Stromboli, but not quite. I think the experience could be significantly improved if it was served with a side of warm tomato dipping sauce. Anyway, your mileage may vary, but curiosity satisfied and I do not feel the need to return again. Sorry Stan, Guy, Billy, Debra, Anita, Dukie and all the others I may have missed that are devotees of the culinary form. Maybe my tastes have outgrown this sort of grub. To Vincent's . . . I don't mean to be unkind, but it is just not my cup of tea. My guilty pleasures in the Philadelphia and South Jersey region will remain the Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich. read more

I can only speak of the customer service and the cheese Panzorotti's. Customer service was always just mediocre, especially since I only visit this establishment on Tuesday's (Cheese Panzorotti sale day). Today, I happened to order 4 cheese Panzorotti's at 5:35. And sent my sister to pick them up after work. She went to pick it up around 6: 30pm. She told the lady it was under 1 of 3 names and the lady glanced at the bags and said there was nothing under any of those names and went back up into the kitchen. She later came back down to take the orders from the line that had formed. My sister asked again if she was sure there was nothing under those names and she said no she had to go check the other orders and my sister said "Are you sure? It was ordered about an hr ago?" She said no they were 2 people short and she had to check other orders. And my sister said "an hr wait though?" She went back into the kitchen without acknowledging my sister, offering to retake, her order or checking the bags again.. at this point my sister went to the car to call me to make sure I'd put the order in and the time. So i offered to call back. She went back into the establishment while the gentleman was on the phone with me and they found the bag sitting off to the side. My sister then thanked the man for checking because the other lady didn't even acknowledge her. There was another lady working there that asked what'd happened. And after hearing the story was very apologetic. Needless to say we finally got the Panzorotti's and they were cold. read more

My review looked like it was removed, so I'm reposting it. PIZZA REVIEW: Worst pizza I've never had in NJ. Crust tasted like something frozen and premade. A little on the thick-side. Flavorless, and a lot of the pizza-real estate was devoted to this bland disappointment of a crust. Sauce tasted EXACTLY like the kind you get in those Lunchables pizza kits for children. Cheese was barely melted. It was as if the pizza was sitting around pre-assembled then heated it up in an electric oven for 10 min at 350 degrees. Couldn't find anywhere on their site that said CASH ONLY. So that was annoying. I called for pickup, asked for large pizza: half peppers and onion, the other half plain. Had to repeat myself 3 times. What i got was half onion, half pepper. But I'll chalk that one up to miscommunication. I am an extremely adventurous eater and enjoy most foods, but I honestly don't understand how this place can stay in business with such a travesty of a pizza. Never going here again, especially when there's places like Pronto's right up the street, literally within view. Pronto's is way better. I plan on exploring all of the pizza options in the area to determine a favorite. But, WOW I cannot express how bad the pizza is. STAY AWAY. Tried the pizza and the crust was so stale you could't chew through it. One panz was half cooked and raw in the middle. Yes, this place was the greatest back in the 80's but lets face it, anybody can drop a frozen panzarotti in a fryer.
